https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHW931PaR_4

[00:00] What's going on, guys?
[00:00] Welcome back.
[00:02] There are over 200, yeah, 200 new abilities within Marvel Rivals.
[00:07] An update so big that some are calling this Marvel Rifles 2.
[00:11] Or as this comment said it best in my last video, it feels like season zero all over again.
[00:16] Like, what the what the hell is going on out there?
[00:18] Well, lucky for you, I've stayed up all night and I'm going to make the holy trilogy of team up roll videos.
[00:21] We're going to go through every single role and I'm going to explain in very easy to understand ways of what they all do, which ones I think you should use and the best of them, and overall just make it all easy to process before you jump into the live game itself.
[00:36] Now, today we're going to be starting with the Vanguards.
[00:39] Now, let's quickly cover some basics before we jump in.
[00:41] Every single hero, guys, is going to have access to two different teamups between two different heroes.
[00:47] In those teamups, there's two different versions.
[00:48] First up, you've got what they like to call the base effect, which is a, you know, a fancy word of a new ability or new passive that you just always get access to, so long that you select it in the
[01:01] hero select menu.
[01:03] And what's great about this is you don't need anyone else on your team playing a specific hero.
[01:07] This is your ability to use whenever you want to.
[01:09] However, all these abilities are also going to have an enhanced team up or an enhanced effect that can be activated uh with a certain hero.
[01:18] And this is the term that me and you have come to known as the traditional sense of a team up.
[01:21] And this is going to usually supercharge this base effect and make it much stronger or just better to use in general.
[01:27] Some more than others.
[01:30] And this is going to make a lot more sense when we jump in.
[01:31] So let's begin.
[01:33] Now let's go and start things off with Captain America and his team up with Thor.
[01:35] Voltaic Union.
[01:37] Now his basic effect, as you can see, is just going to modify his sentinel strike into a lightning shield projectile.
[01:42] And after landing two hits, Captain America can launch the piercing lightning shield four times.
[01:47] But also just on activation, you can go ahead and get an extra throw of this thing multiple times, which is going to be useful in plenty of case scenarios.
[01:55] You can go in, dive in, and combo this with just about anything.
[01:56] Now, when you do team up with Thor, which isn't going to happen all the time, but if he is on the field, you're
[02:02] going to get an enhanced effect of this lightning, and it's going to empower your shield for what is essentially an AoE damaging of the splash lightning effect that comes from the shield throw.
[02:13] It's actually kind of crazy.
[02:14] There is damage fall-off, but still is pretty damn good.
[02:19] This is going to be on about a 16-second cool down once you're done using the ability.
[02:23] And overall, I would say it's a it's a pretty solid team up.
[02:25] All right.
[02:26] Now, for the team up for Captain America and Bucky, his main ability is going to be that he can leap directly to a teammate while providing bonus health to both himself and the ally while also redirecting a portion of the incoming damage to himself.
[02:40] Now, this is fine.
[02:40] kind of going to give him a little bit more unpredictable mobility.
[02:42] It does get kind of crazy with the enhanced effect when Bucky is on the team, which is a team up that should be happening.
[02:49] When teaming up with the Winter Soldier, the duo can trigger a mutual rally, and upon confirmation, they charge at one another.
[02:55] They slam together to grant bonus health and movement speed to all nearby allies, and the original effect remains.
[03:01] But now
[03:04] that additionally grants a speed boost to the targeted teammate.
[03:08] So, in a nutshell, guys, you have the confirmation that you can go and like hit up with any teammate and it's going to go ahead and give you bonus health.
[03:14] Not going to be bad.
[03:16] But then when Buckyy's there, you can do it again with Bucky, which it gets kind of crazy.
[03:21] And you're all of a sudden giving your allies and yourself and and obviously Bucky more and more of these bonus stats.
[03:27] In my opinion, for more like coordinated and pro play, I actually think the Bucky teamup is going to be very good so that you can like dive with your dive and everybody's coordinated together.
[03:36] And I think it's maybe what the pros are going to use, but for like general use, I think the Thor one is pretty damn crazy and that's what like most people are going to lean towards.
[03:44] But I wouldn't sleep on the Bucky one if I were you.
[03:46] Next up, guys, is Doctor Strange and his team up with the Hulk and his Gamma Mastrom.
[03:53] Now, the base effect, his main ability is that it's going to upgrade his Mastrom of Madness, his AoE pop ability to drastically boost the energy charge rate, and on top of that, it removes the anti-heal curse.
[04:05] you'll be charging it up that much faster and you don't have to worry about having that anti-heal on you for just having the team up in general selected on the screen.
[04:12] Now the enhanced effect whenever a Hulk player is on the field with you, you're going to be able to retain some of the energy when you use the AoE pop.
[04:21] So you can use it that much quicker again at that full energy amount.
[04:26] And stored gamma energy doesn't decay over time.
[04:29] So you can go ahead hit some people with poke and just wait for the opportune time to, you know, get the huge AoE hit with something like your ultimate.
[04:37] It's absolutely disgusting in the fact that there's no cooldowns cuz it's just part of his passive.
[04:41] In the example you see here, the 100 charge rate is going to go only down to 50 after you use it, which is absolutely crazy.
[04:47] Next up is the team up we already have in game now, but it is different as the psionic vortex is going to have its regular ability again where it'll upgrade the malstrm of madness to the psionic vortex.
[04:58] Enemies caught are launched towards you and then of course that what was said on the patch note is that his shield is going to gain increased shield value.
[05:03] However, when
[05:07] invisible woman is a teammate and you get the enhanced effect, you'll be having any damage by the psionic vortex giving proportional bonus health to Doctor Strange and so it'll be a little bit better.
[05:17] This one, in my opinion, has just a strong base effect with the enhanced effect, you know, being nice.
[05:22] Personally, I feel like I'm going to want to use the Doctor Strange and the Hulk one where I can just like pop people whenever I want to and they're just going to get assassinated.
[05:31] But also like the shield value, you just can't make that up.
[05:33] and the pull in effect, the bonus health.
[05:34] Like there's a lot to like for both and I think it just depends on the player.
[05:37] All right guys, next up is the Hulk and with Captain America, he gets Savage Slam.
[05:40] So the base effect, you'll be leaping high and smashing the ground and dealing damage to enemies and reducing cooldowns of the other abilities based on your remaining health.
[05:51] So you can see in testing here that when I had, you know, barely any health remaining, it did take out a good amount of the cool down, even more so for the gamma bubble and the exile.
[05:59] And what's great about this is obviously with the clap and the gamma shield and how it works already and ultimates getting nerfed once again, Hulk is going
[06:09] to have a reliable way to get ult, you know, more quick than the other heroes and just have more access to shields, damage, and his overall kit.
[06:16] I think this is actually a pretty huge change for the Hulk.
[06:17] However, his enhanced effect is when teaming up with Captain America.
[06:21] The ground slam additionally applies vulnerability to enemies hit, which is obviously going to make them that much more susceptible to you, Captain America, whoever's dive attacks.
[06:31] And this is a team up I can actually see being used a good amount.
[06:35] It definitely has a pretty good range to it, and it's on about a 20 second cool down.
[06:39] So, you'll be able to use this in your dive rotations in all the different game modes.
[06:42] Now, with Wolverine, of course, they're going to keep the fast ball special, but now we have the gamma fast ball, and its main effect is insane.
[06:49] You'll be entering a furious state upon activation, gaining a speed boost and an attack speed boost for the duration of time.
[06:57] Also, you'll be unlocking the scars of rage ability, granting unstoppable for a period when health drops to a certain threshold.
[07:04] Now, as for the enhanced version, when you have Wolverine, obviously, this will give you
[07:09] team up to the fast ball special, which will allow Hulk to throw Wolverine forward and enter his furious state as well.
[07:15] Now, this is on a 15-second cooldown.
[07:17] It is a noticeable attack speed and movement speed as well.
[07:20] This one is definitely going to cook.
[07:22] Now, that being said, his scars of rage ability uh is a passive.
[07:23] It is going to come with a cooldown, but again, getting unstoppable for the Hulk is incredibly useful, especially with the amount of CC that he draws.
[07:28] Now, this one's interesting cuz I think the Hulk with cap is probably the best, right, for just like general use most of the time.
[07:39] If you are only going to use like the level one standard form of it, that's the one I would lean on the most.
[07:44] And then if you have a Wolverine player that's willing to work with you, remember you can switch, you know, at any time.
[07:50] Then, you know, go ahead and go to the Wolverine one because both of you having the attack speed and whatnot does get pretty crazy.
[07:57] But I think the cap one as like a general ability is pretty strong.
[07:58] All right, moving on.
[08:00] We go to Groot.
[08:02] His first team up is with Mantis Wild Wall.
[08:04] And its base effect is that you can summon a Wild Wall that
[08:09] provides continuous healing and bonus health to allies within its range.
[08:14] You can do this at any time.
[08:17] But with Mantis on the team, the Wild Wall will be able to evolve after providing a certain amount of healing, increasing its healing over time.
[08:23] So, we've definitely seen this use already and very strong to have this in an advantageous position and now going to do that much more healing for Groot.
[08:31] Now, this obviously gives Groot an insane amount of health and the best part is it's on a relatively low cool down.
[08:38] This thing is definitely going to be spitting out some pretty crazy healing numbers if you know hidden in the right location.
[08:42] Now, moving on, we go to an insane team of Bubble Buddies.
[08:45] This is going to be with Jeff the Baby Land Shark.
[08:50] And as a base effect, Groot is going to have access to be able to retreat inside a bubble shield to enter an invincible state on top of granting himself targeted continuous healing.
[09:00] Now, this is on a 20 second cool down, and the healing isn't anything crazy, but you're invincible.
[09:07] So, you'll have to choose between an extra wall that gives all the allies
[09:10] healing or yourself.
[09:12] And you get this giant ass bubble that's going to give your healing as well.
[09:17] Either way, this thing is absolutely crazy, man.
[09:19] We've like lost the plot.
[09:19] However, if Jeff the Baby Land Shark is on your team, the healing from the bubble is going to go up significantly, which is good cuz this can also go into bonus health, which then you can use, you know, at any point after that 20 seconds and not only in just a pinch.
[09:34] All right, now for the group one, guys, my opinion on it as I think as fun as the Jeff one is, and again, it's it's like going to be the one for the memes, I do think you always want to pick the Mantis one.
[09:43] like the more skilled group players are going to pick this one.
[09:45] If you're like learning Groot, I can see an angle for the other one.
[09:48] But for the majority of people, I would go with Mantis.
[09:50] All right, we move on to Venom.
[09:51] Both of these team ups are pretty sick.
[09:53] You have blood leech, which its main effect is going to make your right click, your, you know, alternate fire the cellular corrosion is going to have a new effect.
[10:00] While tethered to enemies, it's going to continuously siphon health from every single linked target.
[10:07] Just an extra way for, you know, Venom to survive that much longer.
[10:11] then when Blade is on your team as well, it'll be getting the enhanced effect of Venom gaining a burst of one-time healing when using certain specific abilities.
[10:21] Now, as far as I can tell, this is all of his abilities.
[10:23] His swing, his E, his dive in ability is all going to give him these small amounts of burst health with blade.
[10:30] So, just going to give you that extra survivability overall when trying to, you know, bait down those cool downs and all the things that Venom does so well.
[10:36] But I've got to say the right click really gives him a good amount of health.
[10:40] So when you're pairing this for your ult combination, many of you guys know you try to time this up with the ult to get pretty much the automatic KO on strategist.
[10:47] This is going to make Venom like just that much more threatening.
[10:51] Now for his other team up, it is with Phoenix and it is called Abyssal Flames.
[10:55] And the new ability you'll have as Venom is that you'll be able to ignite the symbiate with Phoenix Flames for a duration.
[11:03] you'll be replacing his primary attack with a sweeping claw frontal slash.
[11:05] And I got to say, guys, this is like how I envisioned Venom when he came into this
[11:12] game.
[11:14] So, I'm glad that we have an ability that really like shows his aggressive play style.
[11:18] And I've got to say, guys, the damage is crazy.
[11:20] It lasts a really long time in my opinion.
[11:22] And its range is insane as well.
[11:25] So, obviously, you're going to have to activate this.
[11:27] And best of all, the cooldown is really not that long.
[11:29] However, whenever you do have a phoenix on your team, the enhance effect is now going to have that same primary attack, apply a spark.
[11:38] And again, just like Phoenix, when it reaches three stacks, the spark is going to detonate.
[11:43] So, with how quick you can do it, with the range and the damage it already does, yeah, this is going to be pretty nasty.
[11:49] Yeah, this is another one where I feel like you've got like the badass factor and then you have like what's just probably better if you're like trying to really learn venom.
[11:55] I think the blade one is going to combo better and your sustainability is just going to be more solid as somebody that plays venom and you can now kill 275 health heroes in my testing.
[12:04] So like having that with the ult pop is is pretty crazy to make that that much easier.
[12:09] But then you get the Phoenix blade hit and that just is so
[12:14] sick on the cool down alone and everything.
[12:17] So like it just depends on the player and like you know if you're in quick play by yourself with a team you know all that good noise.
[12:22] All right, moving on.
[12:24] We go to Magneto and he'll be getting his Metallic Chaos team up, which funny enough, back in the day, this used to seem so broken that we couldn't have it in the game.
[12:32] And now look what we've come to.
[12:34] Anyway, as its base effect, you're just going to have access to the, you know, grand old team up.
[12:37] This is going to be on a pretty low cool down of 12 seconds and give Magneto just much more poke and damage and presence and just another ability that he can use in his kit.
[12:47] But it gets crazy because when you have Scarlet Witch on your team, your mag cannon, the right click, is going to transform into a charged ability that consumes his passive energy bar.
[12:57] For every tick of energy burned, a chaotic great sword is fired, damaging enemies.
[13:02] I mean, guys, get a load of this.
[13:06] You got this Super Saiyan Kamehameha that Magneto can charge up and fire these swords at enemies, dealing insane damage.
[13:13] And this is just part of his kit, right?
[13:14] just use this whenever.
[13:16] It's nothing that he has to activate on top of also having access to the sword itself.
[13:20] So, you get the right click and you also get the sword.
[13:22] It's kind of crazy how good this one is.
[13:24] Now, as for his next team up ability with Emma Frost, his main effect is going to be able to cast a magnetic projection.
[13:30] You guys know this from back in the season 2 days that mimics Magneto's movement and abilities cast perfectly from the enemy's perspective.
[13:38] Echoes are back, guys.
[13:41] And again, being able to deal nice amounts of damage.
[13:42] His right click, his left click.
[13:44] It's stupid solid and it has a 15-second cool down.
[13:46] However, when Emma Frost is here on the field, and I just can't believe this is real.
[13:51] These echoes will never go away.
[13:53] They're going to have greater health and they will forever be here until the enemy deals with them.
[13:59] So, effectively, you're going to be turning a 6v6 into a 7v6 until somebody does something.
[14:05] So, you choose the insane sword or this echo.
[14:07] They're both freaking insane.
[14:10] Magneto mains are on top.
[14:12] Ultimately guys, between these
[14:14] two, Magneto is tough because like the Scarlet Witch one is gas.
[14:17] It's so cool to always have access to that and is just, you know, fire to have.
[14:20] But the Emma one has too much utility to give up and like it always being present.
[14:23] I just feel like that's going to be the one that's definitely best overall.
[14:26] Like this was one of the ones they made tough to choose because they're both fire.
[14:29] All right, next up is The Thing and his first team up with the Human Torch is called twoin one.
[14:31] Now, his ability he'll be gaining is that he'll be able to enter an enhanced state where he's going to get essentially fire abilities where all of his primary hits, his rocky jab is going to deal splash damage, which is nice.
[14:49] So, you can hit a grouped up bunch of enemies, but also his stone haymaker creates an explosion dealing damage in a frontal cone, so even more chance for AoE damage.
[15:01] Now, this is going to be on a 15-second cool down that will enter kind of like the gauntlets do today with the Hulk team up and is definitely like a considerable amount of damage increase.
[15:09] Uh, but then the enhanced effect.
[15:11] So, when you do have human torch
[15:15] on your team, you're going to be able to do the old Human Torch lifting the thing in the air, say the line, and then you can slam down and do the stun just like you could do now.
[15:23] This will be on a 30-second cool down.
[15:25] The only difference is when you get thrown down, you'll be automatically into the team up state.
[15:31] So, you'll be able to use the Rocky Jab and Stone Haymaker with their engulfed in flames ability.
[15:36] Now, I did try to use this and then separately try to use the team up.
[15:41] You cannot.
[15:43] It goes on cool down unfortunately, but still it's pretty solid.
[15:45] Next up, we have Fantastic 4 teamups back and we have the unbreakable forces, the teamup ability with invisible woman.
[15:51] And for the base effect, you'll be able to generate a layer of psionic armor upon activation.
[15:57] Of course, this is like the old one, granting bonus health, scaling off current missing health.
[16:02] Now, when invisible woman is on your team, though, this is when it gets pretty spicy.
[16:04] While active, every time the thing takes a set amount of damage, the armor is going to pulse out a wave of area healing for allies, and the conversion ratio for
[16:16] mission health into bonus health is increased.
[16:20] For the thing, guys, I think it's kind of always the Human Torch one.
[16:21] For me, this just feels like much stronger overall.
[16:24] Rest in peace, though, to the Pain brothers.
[16:26] Next up guys, we have Penny Parker who has a team up with Black Panther vibranium Mech.
[16:31] Now the ability she'll be gaining with this is upon activation, you'll briefly grant her primary attack an attack speed and damage boost.
[16:38] But then this is when things get crazy.
[16:40] You'll be able to activate an ability that deploys a frontal vibranium shield while reducing the vibranium energy cost of cyber web cluster.
[16:50] that's going to have 300 health and can last up to six seconds.
[16:52] And then if you have Black Panther on your team, you're going to get a 400 health shield that can also last 6 seconds.
[17:01] And the shield when you're with the Black Panther team up is like a machine gun.
[17:05] This thing spits out crazy amount of attack speed and it's it's a machine gun.
[17:09] And it's essentially like whenever you use the Deadpool in your area as tank pool.
[17:13] Super fun.
[17:13] I don't know how much you'll be able to use this team up because everybody's probably going to be
[17:18] using the other team up which is Rocket Network.
[17:23] Now, of course, you know this one if you've been playing the game for a while.
[17:27] The base effect with Rocket just for picking this team up.
[17:29] So, for now on and forever, you're going to be able to deploy a secondary nest that periodically drops spider drones and armor packs that grant bonus health.
[17:39] But wait, of course, there's more.
[17:41] If Rocket is on your team, which is going to be more often than not, your additional spider nest is going to be able to passively regenerate its own health.
[17:48] So, if they're, you know, kind of poking the damage on it, it'll restore its own health.
[17:51] And on top of that, Rocket's BRB will generate cyber webs and spawn both spider drones and mines.
[17:56] So, it's a two for one special.
[18:00] Bunker Heroes guys are all the way back.
[18:02] So, you can be either kind of frontline pinning more on the offense or if you want to be on the defense, you can now go rocket.
[18:10] So now, no more getting mad if your Penny wants to play the offense version.
[18:13] All right, so the Penny one on paper, I think, is actually like clearly the double nest for the majority of users.
[18:17] But like the
[18:20] shield is going to make it where like in pro play, let's say, or just in general use, you know, having a good off tank.
[18:26] Penny is going to be a thing now, and you can use her in like way more ways, especially on the offensive side.
[18:31] So I do think there's going to be uh use to that.
[18:34] I think people are kind of sleeping on it if I'm being honest.
[18:36] I would say a lot of people are going to want to use the spider nest.
[18:38] That's one that most want to do, but Penny serves a much bigger purpose and can do some crazy stuff even with a long cool down with the shield.
[18:45] Next, we move on to the God of Thunder, guys.
[18:46] And Ragnarok Rebirth is back, and it's better than ever.
[18:51] Now, I'm going to come back on camera to say this.
[18:52] I'm going to be honest.
[18:53] I feel like nobody's ready for how good Thor is about to be.
[18:55] Like, he got buffs.
[18:57] His regenerative shields favor him a ton, and his teamups are ridiculous.
[19:03] So just by selecting this as your passive team up, you're going to get a passive ability which has Thor receiving any fatal damage.
[19:09] It will prevent him from dying essentially.
[19:11] So Thor will gain a decaying pool of bonus health.
[19:16] And on top of that, if you get a kill while in this uh duration of time,
[19:21] he's going to resurrect and recover a small amount of health on top of that.
[19:26] So that's just the base effect.
[19:28] And then if that wasn't enough, when teaming up with Hela, if either of them participate in a kill, so if Thor or Hela get a kill, two out of the six members on the team, you'll instantly revive Thor, essentially restoring health equal to his remaining bonus health and gain continuous healing effects.
[19:43] And this one's ridiculous.
[19:46] Obviously, it comes with a pretty hefty cool down.
[19:47] It's like 46 seconds, something like that.
[19:51] Uh but the health pool that you get in return, like imagine you finally kill Thor.
[19:53] He just comes right back, hits you with the awakening bomb, bullies you, you're dead, and then he comes back to life.
[19:59] It's ridiculous.
[20:01] So, if you see the little crows around Thor, just run for your effing life.
[20:05] All right.
[20:07] Now, for his other ability, and this is much more of an afterthought, there is use to it, but divine armory.
[20:11] So, with Angela, the base effect he'll get is a new team up that will allow him to just have the thunder spear that you guys know from the team up that is going to restore some of his Thor force for each of the
[20:23] enemies struck. But on top of that,
[20:25] afterwards, Thor can leap to the spear
[20:27] and do some additional damage within the
[20:30] range. Now, if Angela is with him, when
[20:32] he goes to leap to that spear, he's
[20:35] going to gain bonus health. Now, this is
[20:37] definitely like not even remotely near
[20:39] as good as the other team up. I guess
[20:41] the only advantages would be that it's
[20:43] every 20 seconds you can use it and it's
[20:45] another ability uh just added to his kit
[20:48] for free, right? Obviously, you don't
[20:49] have to have Angela a part of it. All
[20:51] that being said, guys, this is a
[20:52] clear-cut answer. It's hella. It's
[20:54] always hella. Use this thing before it
[20:55] probably gets nerfed in some way. At the
[20:57] very least, the cool down. Moving on, we
[20:59] go to Rogue. And this is so ridiculous.
[21:02] So, Mr. and Mrs. X is the teamup she
[21:05] gets with Gambit. And of course, you
[21:07] guys know this ability that is typically
[21:09] taken rogue up to like a C tier to an S
[21:12] tier. It's going to have the same base
[21:14] effect. After activation, every attack
[21:16] triggers a kinetic explosion, dealing
[21:18] area damage to surrounding enemies while
[21:20] simultaneously healing nearby allies.
[21:24] And you know, this has a 30 second cool
[21:26] down. Cool thing is you don't need
[21:27] Gambit anymore. You're just always going
[21:28] to have access to this as a separate
[21:30] ability. However, if you have Gambit on
[21:33] your team, you now just permanently have
[21:36] this as an effect. This will always be
[21:39] on Rogue, and it just makes her into a
[21:42] class of her own in a lot of ways. This
[21:44] is going to be insane for dive amongst
[21:46] plenty of other uses. Rogue mains,
[21:48] you've waited patiently, but your time
[21:50] has finally come. Now, as for Rogue's
[21:52] other team up ability will be with
[21:54] Magneto, and her defensive stance is
[21:56] going to be fortified. So, essentially,
[21:58] when you activate this, you'll be
[22:00] getting a a bit bigger of a range for it
[22:02] in a magnetic field that dramatically
[22:05] boosts the damage reduction ratio of
[22:08] that defensive stance. And again, all
[22:10] that damage absorbed in that field is
[22:12] going to be converted directly into
[22:13] damage for your next southern brawl like
[22:16] it works now, but to a magnifying
[22:18] effect. Obviously, this is kind of hard
[22:20] to show off in like the testing range,
[22:22] but in live environment, it's going to
[22:23] feel pretty nice. And when Magneto's on
[22:25] your team, the enhanced effect is that
[22:28] your Southern Brawl is going to have a
[22:30] knockbacked effect, which will be nice
[22:31] for obviously environmental kills, but
[22:33] on top of that, if you hit them against
[22:35] a wall by any means, which is going to
[22:37] happen way more than you think, you're
[22:38] going to get increased damage. So,
[22:40] obviously, both are good. The Gambit one
[22:42] is always going to be like the baseline
[22:43] kit. Uh, the Magneto one is going to
[22:45] give you a lot of survivability. And if
[22:47] you look back at the balance notes, she
[22:49] did get hit pretty hard. So, you'll have
[22:51] to weigh your options. I think most
[22:52] people will always lean towards the, you
[22:54] know, the Gambit one, but there is an
[22:56] argument to be made for the Magneto one.
[22:58] Next, we move on to Angela, and these
[23:00] might be the craziest ones yet. Odin's
[23:02] unacknowledged. Now, with its base
[23:04] effect, guys, it's going to project an
[23:06] illusion forward. This illusion is going
[23:09] to be able to utilize assassin's charge
[23:11] to thrust at enemies. It doesn't damage
[23:14] them, but it does have the pin effect.
[23:16] An enemy struck head-on will be carried
[23:17] through the air for a short while. So,
[23:20] you're essentially going to be able to
[23:22] just throw people off the map without
[23:23] even using your assassin's charge. And
[23:25] from a distance, dear god. And on top of
[23:28] that, we already know Angela is just in
[23:30] a crazy good state at the moment. And
[23:32] well, when Loki is on your team because
[23:33] you get that ability anyways, well, you
[23:36] can have two charges of this effect.
[23:37] Now, these are going to be on a 15se
[23:39] second cool down, but man, I don't even
[23:41] care if they were on a 30-cond cool
[23:42] down. You get two charges of them. And
[23:44] this is an just an insane thing to add
[23:47] to Angela's kit. Now, way less sexy, but
[23:50] hey, it's there. You have a Star-Lord
[23:52] team up as Guardians of the Galaxy. Its
[23:55] base effect is its activation will grant
[23:57] reveal within a targeted area.
[24:00] Activating the ability again performs a
[24:02] slam attack, and enemies hit by the slam
[24:04] are grounded. Now, this is on a
[24:06] 25-second cool down, and it kind of
[24:08] works as like a UAV that you can use
[24:11] and, you know, see where enemies are at,
[24:12] and then you'll be able to throw it down
[24:14] again and dive for an attack. Any
[24:17] enemies that are hit by the slam are
[24:18] going to be grounded. And when teaming
[24:20] up with Star-Lord, Angela is going to
[24:22] gain bonus health, scaling with the
[24:24] number of enemies struck by the slam.
[24:27] So, you should be able to use this in
[24:28] some creative ways. And obviously, you
[24:30] gain access to an ability at, you know,
[24:32] any time with it. So, that is nice, but
[24:34] most people will be utilizing Loki's.
[24:36] Next up, we go to Emma Frost. Now,
[24:38] Mother will be getting a team up with
[24:40] Luna Snow. This is the one you know
[24:42] already, iced out Diamond. And by
[24:44] comparison to some of the others, not
[24:46] all that great. Uh the base effect,
[24:48] you'll be able to project ice energy
[24:50] forward, dealing damage and slowing
[24:51] enemies in diamond form. Condense frost
[24:54] into an absolute zero diamond barrier.
[24:57] This will block enemies attacks and
[24:59] movements. Now, when Luna Snow is on the
[25:01] team with you as well, when you enter
[25:03] diamond form, you're going to be able to
[25:04] have all of your attacks inflict a slow
[25:06] as well, and her ultimate is going to do
[25:08] the same. Whereas her team up with
[25:10] Mantis is much better. Spirit Breaker is
[25:13] going to add to her psychic spear
[25:15] essentially an effect to convert damage
[25:17] to bonus health. This is definitely
[25:19] noticeable and something you can use all
[25:21] the time. And on top of that, if Mantis
[25:23] is on your team, when you shatter one of
[25:26] these that you pull out of the enemy,
[25:27] you'll be able to grant a one-time bonus
[25:29] health while also reducing the cool down
[25:32] to do it again. This effectively takes a
[25:34] couple seconds off the cool down and
[25:36] gives a major health boost. All of a
[25:38] sudden, all Emma Frost mains are going
[25:39] to want a Mantis. Now for Emma, I do
[25:41] think there are like some good cases to
[25:43] the Luna one. The wall is not great, but
[25:44] like the slow when you look at some of
[25:46] the things it does, you know,
[25:47] altogether. But man, like the cooldown
[25:49] and what Mantis does just to like 1v one
[25:52] tanks and do what Emma already does
[25:54] well, it's kind of a no-brainer. I think
[25:56] it's going to be the Mantis one for Emma
[25:57] like the majority of time. All right,
[25:59] buckle up for these two. We've got Devil
[26:02] Dinosaur, and his first team up ability
[26:04] is going to once again be with the
[26:06] Punisher. However, now he will get a new
[26:09] ability upon activation. Primal bite
[26:12] will be replaced with primal punishment.
[26:15] Devil dinosaur is going to gain two
[26:17] magnetic cannons that can be fired
[26:19] forward. The cannibals detonate when
[26:21] hitting enemies or environment and they
[26:23] also of course apply bleed. The best
[26:26] part is that's just the effect that you
[26:28] get forever. And if you want to and you
[26:30] have Punisher on the team, then you get
[26:32] the team up that you know now where
[26:33] Punisher can go on your back and you can
[26:35] just have all the firepower. I've got to
[26:37] say this ability lasts for a pretty
[26:39] freaking long time and I think it's only
[26:40] on like a 12se secondond cool down and
[26:43] see for yourself the damage is pretty
[26:44] disgusting. So yeah, this is one devil
[26:46] dinosaur users are definitely going to
[26:48] be playing. Now of course you know
[26:49] you're going to have to have something
[26:50] compared to that pretty well and well
[26:52] surf and turf does just that. This new
[26:54] team up with Jeff is going to make his
[26:56] impact laser beam coming from his mouth
[26:58] be replaced by a frontal water spray.
[27:01] This stream is gonna act just like Jeff
[27:03] where it's going to be able to damage
[27:04] enemies but also provide healing to
[27:06] teammates. And again, you don't have to
[27:08] have a Jeff to have this. So just cooked
[27:10] in his base kit, Devil Dinosaur can
[27:12] provide healing. However, if Jeff is on
[27:15] your team, Jeff can ride a top of Devil
[27:18] Dinosaur's head and while riding is
[27:20] going to give both of them some damage
[27:22] reduction and receive continuous
[27:24] healing. So, offense, defense, dinosaur,
[27:26] you get it all. Devil Dinosaur, I mean,
[27:28] man, I feel like both are crazy, but the
[27:30] guns and that extra poke, like this
[27:32] one's going to be the tougher one for me
[27:34] to choose, but I would say probably the
[27:36] guns. All right, guys. Next up, we've
[27:37] got Tankpool. And all the Deadpool is
[27:40] going to share a similar team up with
[27:42] slight differences. Gumbo Chimmy Chongas
[27:44] is first up with Gambit and this will
[27:46] also serve as Deadpool duelist. The base
[27:49] effect is going to activate for a
[27:51] kinetic energy. This will propel
[27:53] Deadpool into a forward leap. Now with
[27:55] this, you're going to scatter a ring of
[27:56] kinetically charged chim chungas that
[27:59] are going to deal damage to the enemy or
[28:01] you know groups of enemies. Now, on top
[28:03] of this, whenever Gambit is on your
[28:05] team, you're going to go ahead and get
[28:07] an enhanced effect where Deadpool
[28:09] landing is going to inflict a stun
[28:11] effect on the enemies with that blast
[28:12] radius. So, definitely, you know, decent
[28:14] team up. Uh, but this next one, I think,
[28:16] is what all Deadpool mains are going to
[28:18] use, and that is Hell yeah, honey. So,
[28:21] the base effect is that Deadpool is
[28:23] going to receive upgrades from hell,
[28:25] allowing the Desert Eagles and the
[28:27] katanas to be upgraded one additional
[28:30] time, and the Hell yeah desert eagles
[28:32] are going to gain a pierce. And the
[28:34] little thought bubbles that you know
[28:36] happen are going to transform into
[28:38] homing death rattle bubbles. On top of
[28:40] that, the katanas can be upgraded so
[28:42] that every strike is going to inject an
[28:44] undead energy into the enemy. Hitting an
[28:47] enemy three times with the katanas
[28:49] detonate the energy dealing percentage
[28:51] base true damage, scaling off their max
[28:54] health. One thing to point out, guys, is
[28:56] obviously if you have Hela, then you're
[28:58] going to be able to upgrade both the gun
[28:59] and the katana. If you don't have Hela
[29:01] on your team, you only are going to be
[29:02] able to upgrade one or the other. Now,
[29:05] for tank pool and tank pool only, I
[29:07] actually think that the Gambit one is
[29:09] not terrible. Uh I feel like the
[29:11] mobility is nice and uh with like a
[29:14] decent cool down to it. like it's
[29:15] something that you'll use in the
[29:16] rotation that kind of helps this overall
[29:18] kit. Uh and the cool part about this
[29:20] guys is you can swap at any time. So
[29:22] like as you're getting close to the
[29:23] upgrades like just go over to the hello
[29:25] one and then you can do that, right? So
[29:27] like that's the best part about this.
[29:28] Maybe use that one for the first bit and
[29:30] because Deadpool levels up anyway then
[29:32] later on go on over to that one. So
[29:34] there you guys go. That is everything
[29:36] about the Vanguards, the teamups and my
[29:38] thoughts on them. Again, I wanted to
[29:40] separate this role by roll. So, if
[29:41] you're looking for duelist or strategist
[29:43] or any role that you can't find here,
[29:45] well, it's going to be here in no time,
[29:47] guys. They're going to be rolling out
[29:48] one by one as quick as I can get them
[29:50] out. So, you don't miss any of the
[29:51] action. Go ahead and subscribe down
[29:52] below. I appreciate you guys for hanging
[29:54] out. Until the next one, happy rivaling.
