[05:04] Hey.
  Salut.

[05:37] [music]
  [musique]

[05:45] Hello everyone and welcome to the 48th platform and treasury council meeting.

[05:51] The agenda is posted in the chat.

[05:53] We hold these meetings every two weeks so that proposers have direct access to the council and the community sees decisions

[06:01] As they happen.

[06:03] For anyone new here, Telcoin Network and Tel are the blockchain and token standard for the global telecommunications industry.

[06:10] By aligning mobile operators around this unified standard, the Telcoin Association harnesses the reach and infrastructure to connect every mobile user to digital money, markets, and ultimately every good and service.

[06:27] The platform and treasury council oversees sustainable platform development and responsible token economics.

[06:35] The full picture is at telcoin.org.

[06:40] With that, let's get into the today's agenda.
Ceci étant dit, passons à l'ordre du jour d'aujourd'hui.

[06:44] A quick recap from our 47th platform and Treasury Council meeting.

[06:47] Grant gave a quick Telcoin network update with a big emphasis on the network preparing for mainet launch.

[06:55] Nick Blue Lights shared the latest web unification pro progress

[07:01] And the site was almost ready to be handed over.

[07:04] Parker presented Tel IP additional allocation for Tel upgrade exchange integration which has since to a vote.

[07:13] Now we move on to the Telcoin network update grant.

[07:24] Uh all right, thanks Angelica.
  Euh très bien, merci Angelica.

[07:28] Uh so MANA is moving swiftly towards uh closer to launch here.

[07:33] Uh the protocol team is primarily focused on just refining the deployment side of things, our strategy and really coordinating with launch partners to ensure everything is ready in Genesis.

[07:43] Um the remaining technical priorities are primarily centered on uh securing public RPC infrastructure making that scalable so that we don't put undue burdens on the validator set um and that users can access state on the blockchain easily and quickly.

[07:58] Um so this process involves um
Euh donc ce processus implique euh

[08:02] Deciding all the account information and what is actually going to be um in the first genesis block as well as the decentralized validator node infrastructure um and making sure that the validators can receive transactions because our mepool is private but that um read requests and everything can go to the sort of public archive nodes um and take the bulk of the bandwidth.

[08:26] So, uh, with that, we've also been able to do a lot of benchmarking.

[08:29] Um, and we're running these benchmarks pretty regularly.

[08:33] Uh, I I'm posting stuff right now.

[08:37] Um, our results to benchmark.telcoin.network.
  Euh, nos résultats sur benchmark.telcoin.network.

[08:41] Um, we have constantly finding ways to just sort of optimize and and improve this ahead of the mainet launch.

[08:48] Um, while we also work with our partners and help them get ready and organized as well.

[08:51] So, um, testing is included.
Donc, euh, les tests sont inclus.

[08:54] It includes the um heavily distributed geographic nodes across across all the continents that we can think of.

[09:00] Um and
  Euh et

[09:04] Yeah, we're using these results to find um gaps in the protocol and and ways to improve it.

[09:09] Um this has gone all the way as far as the low-level transport layer with our quick transport protocol um and uh database read and writes.

[09:21] So um yeah really the the outstanding objectives here are ecosystem readiness and um sort of getting financial primitives on chain.

[09:31] Um so we're coordinating with TAN council and the TX council to ensure that application developers and uh stakeholder stakers throughout the ecosystem have tools at their disposable starting um day one.

[09:44] So uh yeah really exciting.
  Donc euh ouais, vraiment excitant.

[09:48] I we are here in the in the final stretch for mainet.

[09:51] Um you know cleared up a lot of the outstanding roadblocks and we're really just getting organized for the imminent launch here.

[09:58] Um yeah with that I plan to uh I have one more exciting announcement actually

[10:05] I almost forgot.
  J'ai presque oublié.

[10:08] Um next week uh we are preparing and uh we're preparing to announce the strategic advisor um publicly.

[10:17] So, uh, they've been a tremendous partner to work with and have given us a ton of insight.

[10:20] Um, the future is very bright and we are, um, on mutual terms.

[10:25] We we've picked a date.
  Nous avons choisi une date.

[10:27] It will be next week and we look forward to sharing with the community and appreciate all their patience.

[10:33] Thank you very much, Grant.
  Merci beaucoup, Grant.

[10:35] The next up on the agenda is number four, mainet infrastructure.

[10:55] Parker that this this week's agenda or that was that last agenda?

[11:02] Yes.
  Oui.

[11:02] So, we we have a new TIP today um that I'm happy to walk through and

[11:06] Present to the community.
  Présenter à la communauté.

[11:08] Angelica, is that what you're referring to or do you want me to follow up on last week's the one that's currently you you are right there?

[11:13] The next agenda is you want to talk about the new one it.

[11:19] Yes, please.
  Oui, s'il vous plaît.

[11:20] Yep.
  Ouais.

[11:20] Parker is introducing a new TIP Y3 supplementary tow allocation funding operations to your end.
Parker présente de votre côté de nouvelles opérations de financement de l'allocation de remorquage supplémentaire TIP Y3.

[11:30] All right, just going to go ahead and share my screen here.

[11:35] All right, one second.
  Très bien, une seconde.

[11:54] Yeah.
  Ouais.

[11:54] So, thanks everyone.
  Alors, merci à tous.

[11:54] Um, you know, for for those joining from the community, um, this proposal went up on the forum this morning and the councils walked through it uh, in detail with me uh, yesterday.

[12:05] So today, I'll give you
Donc aujourd'hui, je vais vous donner

[12:07] The shape of it and then take questions from the community and and council members as they show up.

[12:10] Uh, so yeah, here's here's where we are.

[12:13] It's a really exciting time.
  C'est un moment vraiment passionnant.

[12:14] The towel network is literally weeks away from the T upgrade is now live.

[12:19] Uh, good work everyone across the board.

[12:22] It was a huge effort and you know the the the core contracts are audited and frozen.

[12:28] Validators are being installed in in telecom data centers and have been you know as we continue to go to market and bring this network to life.

[12:36] You know after 10 years of building toward a network that is standardized and operated by mobile network operators and distributed to all of their users worldwide.

[12:45] It's about to be real.
  Ça va devenir réel.

[12:49] Uh that this proposal pays for the last stretch of that work and it makes sure that uh the network launches with what its users, developers, the general ecosystem needs on day one to ensure our objectives of of going this internet of money of things and and ultimately of of

[13:08] Agents and everything.
Des agents et tout le reste.

[13:12] So what it funds um through uh December the cost is 1.29 29 million and it covers uh the engineering uh team hardening the network, installing and rewarding M validators as they come online, the remainder of the cantina security audit program to mainet uh financial operations and administration and legal and um $138,000 uh for three uh services every user and developer will touch at launch.

[13:43] Much.
  Beaucoup.

[13:46] Um th those three are are the new piece and they matter matter in order for us to bring this vision to life.

[13:51] So um a public RPC actually three of them um so developers um exchanges and partners can reach the network from day one.

[14:00] A native oracle uh the network's source uh of trusted prices.

[14:04] Lending markets use it to value uh collateral uh dexes when

[14:09] They you know need to to keep a certain um price point.

[14:13] Um they they need to price trades.

[14:15] Um you know the wallets across the ecosystem that are being deployed by mobile monies to show their users what they hold.

[14:22] Um quotes uh from this ranged astronomically.

[14:25] You wouldn't believe it.
  Vous ne leisseriez pas.

[14:28] Um from approximately, you know, 65,000 to $ 1.5 million a year.

[14:35] And that's what you'll see really across the industry is that there are a ton of uh you know major providers um that that have you know incredibly expensive offerings and our our job is to find the the right partners that bring in the right technology at the best costs in a way that has them not only serving us as a vendor relationship but partnering with us to ensure that they're aligned with our vision and that their real monetization is on the upside of the network's growth.

[15:04] And so the last part uh has been a huge effort across the team and and really exciting amongst a number of areas is

[15:10] the wallet SDK.
Le kit de développement logiciel pour portefeuille.

[15:13] Um so that basically means you know a mobile uh you know say a mobile money uh a mobile operator with an application that you know uh works directly with consumers you know they they have massive switching costs.

[15:25] Those switching costs can take the form um of you know literally things like reputational risk associated with blockchains but but also you know taking applications that have millions of users and then uh saying well we're going to completely replplatform onto this new innovative blockchain technology.

[15:44] Um that that's those decisions are difficult.
  Euh ces décisions sont difficiles.

[15:47] You know, why compromise your existing user base to go onto a new technology platform unless it's built from the the hardest security possible, the most extensibility, flexibility generally to input all of their products and services on chain unless it's as seamless as possible to go uh from from

[16:10] Having, you know, this web 2 uh customer experience that's already generating revenue to this new upgraded form of a global um ledger and wallet system.

[16:21] And so we've we've developed with uh with a partner and in in certain ways on our own and and with other partners.

[16:29] Um but as you know as part of this proposal we're we're developing this SDK that effectively you know mobile money's telecoms can on day one plug and play the networks functionality cross defy banking functionality and all their existing um use cases that that they rely on as well as all the new ones that are coming uh into play.

[16:49] So instead of having this sort of disagregated set of vendor uh providers for these services, we found a provider who actually uh presented to the councils yesterday uh that could build all of these um all three of these major services for us for a fixed 100,000.

[17:07] And when you, you know,
  Et quand vous, vous savez,

[17:10] sort of look at the scale of just even one of these things, you know, RPC's costing, uh, you know, $200,000 for just one when we need three, you know, um, it or costing up to 1.5 million a year.

[17:25] Um, wallets that take a tremendous amount of of developer efforts and costs.

[17:31] Uh, we've we've been able to bring this down to 100,000 and and 10,000 a month.
Euh, nous avons réussi à ramener cela à 100 000 et 10 000 par mois.

[17:36] and the critical aspect, shout out to Nick and Grant for and Leo and everybody involved for the way that they've been able to to negotiate this, but um the association owns the code.

[17:49] Um the the and and even further um the Oracle and the wallet carry a a revenue share for the association.

[17:54] So those are uh real new uh first streams of income as we work towards building a productive mainet.

[18:06] Scroll down a little bit.
Faites défiler un peu vers le bas.

[18:14] So the the ask uh priced at uh 15 uh ten of a penny a tell with Tel near uh you know 210 of a penny.

[18:23] Um a net of the the 50 million due under Tel IP14.

[18:30] Um the request is up to 810.3 million tell.

[18:34] Um there's a contingency of up to 73.6 million that stays in the treasury unless the cost runs over.

[18:38] Um and it comes in two tranches.
Euh et cela arrive en deux tranches.

[18:41] Uh the first one uh 433.7 million on affirmation uh covers um October and um some some outstanding invoices.

[18:53] Uh and then up to 376 million um follows no earlier than November 15th after the Q3 financial report and the first monthly finance financial summary are published.

[19:04] Um it's sized at uh at the price at that point net of what the tow already holds and and anything that's unused comes back to the association.

[19:10] Um so so uh you know
Euh donc donc euh vous savez.

[19:14] Why a supplementary?
  Pourquoi un complément ?

[19:17] Um I want to just be straight about why this is needed.

[19:19] You know, year three was budgeted at 3/10en of a penny.

[19:21] It tell Intel spent most of the preceding uh days below that afterwards.

[19:26] Um I think it was like 195 out of 210 or something like that.

[19:32] Um the team naturally needs to bolster uh and grow as mainet gets close.

[19:37] We've brought in some uh tremendously talented engineers, developer relations, validator relations.

[19:41] Um two two uh two store engagements set on one budget line.

[19:47] Um and and the tow uh monthly reporting um it wasn't in place to the extent that it it is now with these new controls that we've set.

[19:54] So the gap that um was put in front of the councils um you know should wasn't put in front of the councils as early as it should have been um given you know all of the sort of complexities of operating everything and bringing it to life.

[20:08] Um but I I take full ownership that for that that's on me.

[20:12] Um what's different now is is is

[20:16] Built into this proposal.
  Intégré dans cette proposition.

[20:16] So there's four controls on every dollar uh of tow spend uh from the day it passes.

[20:23] So a monthly financial summary by the 15th, a variance trigger at 10 per uh at 10% or 25,000.

[20:29] Uh no new engagement without headroom um or council approval and a budget standard for every allocation um after this one.

[20:37] Um and the council sold the second half of the Tel until they've seen those controls working in action and uh in uh in live.

[20:54] So, so yeah.
  Donc, alors oui.

[20:54] Um, you know, one more thing because, you know, I'd rather say it now that in January um, you know, a mainet year, our first, uh, year we've brought this vision to life and we begin to see the entire mobile industry adopt this new standard for blockchain and bring their services on chain, begin rolling out validator nodes.

[21:12] Um you know it's
  Euh, vous savez, c'est

[21:16] Going to cost more than any year before.

[21:18] It likely um and current prices the tell's uh the treasury's remaining tell um can't carry it on its own um so we're looking at every option on scope um and on sources and we've been working at this for for a while um and are in a a really close spot to coming up with the proper solutions.

[21:35] So, um, we're, you know, we're basically, you know, in terms of what we fund and when, you know, what partners can and joint ventures carry with us, you know, what revenue streams we can bring in.

[21:47] We've already demonstrated a few of those, but there's many more to come.

[22:46] That's uh what this vote unlocks and I'm happy to take questions.

[23:01] Council members, are there any questions?
Membres du conseil, y a-t-il des questions ?

[23:06] If not, I'm moving on to the next part of the agenda.

[23:17] Uh where there are no objections um across
Euh là où il n'y a pas d'objections euh à travers

[23:20] the councils uh we'll plan to move this

[23:23] uh next week um to to vote. So thank you

[23:27] everybody and and I'll stand by for

[23:28] questions afterwards. Appreciate you

[23:30] running this as well Angelica. Thanks.

[23:33] Thank you Parker.

[23:36] The next one is tell upgrade Nick.

[23:41] Thanks [clears throat] Angelica. Um

[23:43] yeah, just uh just really give a a guess

[23:45] short update. Um you know, a lot of hard

[23:48] work went uh into getting that live. Uh

[23:51] we've it's been a huge success.

[23:53] Everything's working smoothly. Uh

[23:56] current status is around 21.35 billion.

[24:00] Uh that has been upgraded. Um you know,

[24:03] the systems are working fine. uh is

[24:07] broken down to 3.16 billion on Ethereum,

[24:11] 18.10 billion on Polygon and around 88

[24:15] million on base. Uh so overall the

[24:18] upgrades been working going really well.

[24:20] So still need to stress that um you know

[24:23] the official site is

[24:24] tel3.telcoin.network.

[24:27] Uh we have been fighting a huge amount

[24:30] of scams uh as always happens in this

[24:32] industry. Um, but we've taken we've

[24:35] managed to take down a couple of sites.

[24:38] Um, also loads of these uh scam scam

[24:42] accounts on X have been uh suspended.

[24:45] Uh, so you know, thanks to everyone

[24:47] who's sort of helping to report them.

[24:49] Um, and you know, you can always uh

[24:52] anyone can always send me a DM or on

[24:55] Telegram or or however if if you in one

[24:58] of the Telegram channels and if you've

[24:59] got any more links that come through to

[25:01] you uh and we'll jump on them straight

[25:04] away. But um overall, yeah, you know,

[25:06] we're moving. Uh we are still got a long

[25:10] way to go. um you know that the like we

[25:13] said old tail and new tail will coexist

[25:16] uh in the in the market until the end of

[25:19] the claim which is total 24 months 12

[25:21] months and 12 months uh but yeah we're

[25:24] we're you know coin gecko has been

[25:26] updated I believe the ledger app now is

[25:29] also recognizing newel um coin market

[25:33] cap has been updated so all of these

[25:36] peripheral third-party services you know

[25:39] they take a little a bit of time

[25:41] especially when a new token gets

[25:42] launched on the on you know into into

[25:44] the into the industry. So it takes a

[25:46] little while for for things to to sort

[25:49] of update. So it's a transition period.

[25:51] Um you know we're we're coming down the

[25:53] other side of the hill now. So yeah um

[25:56] well done for everyone that's uh that

[25:58] put in the team to put put in the work

[26:00] to get that get that running as smooth

[26:02] as it is. Um so yeah any questions after

[26:05] we can jump on those as well.

[26:07] Nick, could you also talk about the

[26:09] update on the web unification project?

[26:12] [clears throat]

[26:13] For sure. Uh, that's super exciting. We,

[26:16] uh, had the full hand over to us. I

[26:19] think it was on Tuesday. So, um, the

[26:22] company that [clears throat] was helping

[26:23] us build it have finished everything

[26:24] they've done. It's been handed over to

[26:26] us, all the source code, all the code,

[26:28] etc. Um what we're doing now is we're

[26:32] going through it uh you know with a fine

[26:34] tooth comb to to ensure the content uh

[26:37] needs a little bit tweaks here and

[26:39] there. Um but also there's a lot of uh

[26:42] we're doing extra work because you know

[26:44] like for example the TX the existing TX

[26:47] site has been updated heavily over the

[26:50] past two weeks. Um, so you know, Noah uh

[26:54] has been smashing it and he's doing a

[26:56] lot of the work on the new unified site

[26:59] to connect and add all those features to

[27:01] the to the TX uh site, you know, the

[27:04] existing site onto the new site. We've

[27:06] also had to, you know, connect in the

[27:08] upgrade page, um the bridge page and a

[27:12] few other pages that weren't kind of um

[27:14] thought of when we started the the

[27:16] unified web build process. So, uh, all

[27:19] in all, we will hopefully, um, I don't

[27:23] want to put a day on it, but we will be

[27:25] getting that out live very, very, very,

[27:27] very soon. Um, so there's no point in me

[27:30] giving anybody a, uh, a demo because,

[27:33] you know, hopefully you'll see, you'll

[27:35] all be able to browse it yourself soon.

[27:40] Thank you very much, Nick.

[27:42] Huge shout out to Noah and Grant and the

[27:44] rest of the team on this TX upgrade. I

[27:47] mean, anyone who's been um a liquidity

[27:50] miner for all these years since August

[27:52] 28th, 2020 and and since then, I mean,

[27:57] has got to notice how how awesome this

[27:59] is. So, huge hats off to the team. Very

[28:02] excited about that vision's coming to

[28:04] life.

[28:08] I give the council the floor right now.

[28:15] Now we are moving on to the open Q&A. We

[28:18] will be answering your chat questions.

[28:23] The first question is will any external

[28:26] applications be deployed at launch?

[28:34] Yes. Uh we are we are currently in the

[28:38] phase of organizing with partnersh to

[28:39] prepare for mainet so that we can have a

[28:42] uh so have the ecosystem be as robust as

[28:46] possible um for mainet launch. Um you

[28:48] know this is uh it's important to note

[28:51] that you know we we are here for the

[28:54] long term. You know this is not going to

[28:55] be a splash and fade. This is going to

[28:57] be a slow eruption um to just new

[29:01] heights. Um and it's going to be you

[29:04] know releases and phases. We are

[29:07] pioneering in the GSMA with brand new

[29:09] technology that has been around for a

[29:12] very long time but has still been yet to

[29:15] be adopted by a lot of these major

[29:16] players in a production setting. So

[29:18] there's a lot of moving parts and

[29:19] there's a lot of change happening. Um

[29:21] and it is it's a it's a monumental shift

[29:23] here. Um but we are just uh thrilled at

[29:25] all the participation and and the

[29:27] partners that are going to be launching

[29:28] with us in mainet and we're just uh yeah

[29:30] if anybody else is interested please

[29:32] reach out um to uh devs telcoin.org um

[29:36] you can also reach out to tao

[29:38] telcoin.org

[29:40] um but yeah we we are currently just

[29:45] yeah finalizing the list and making sure

[29:47] that everything is in place for our

[29:48] partners in mainet launch.

[29:51] Grant, since I have you, the next

[29:54] question is for you again. Regarding PR

[29:57] number 1502,

[29:59] what is the single biggest remaining

[30:01] technical blocker to final qualification

[30:05] may notet launch? That's one question.

[30:08] I'll read the second after.

[30:10] Okay, I feel like I'm on a game show.

[30:13] 1502 though, I've got it right here. Uh,

[30:15] let me pull it up. Um so this is

[30:18] regarding um the configure and measuring

[30:21] public hub capacity. Um so a lot of the

[30:24] work that we're doing right now with

[30:26] these uh with this PRs and our our

[30:29] benchmarking uh is we are putting so our

[30:32] our benchmarks I'll just talk about that

[30:34] briefly. So the the benchmarking that we

[30:35] have is we're we're deploying 10 nodes

[30:37] across the world. Uh this is including

[30:40] you know uh uh Tokyo, Sydney, Australia.

[30:44] We are putting them Hong Kong, um,

[30:47] Netherlands, London, LA, Amsterdam. We

[30:51] all as far apart as we can get. And then

[30:53] we're simulating different trans uh

[30:56] transaction blasts. Um, we are

[30:59] simulating all sorts of different

[31:00] transaction types. We're measuring the

[31:02] sustained load. We are also uh

[31:05] simulating adverse

[31:08] scenarios um including node failures,

[31:11] Byzantine um and and part of this uh

[31:13] particular PR502

[31:16] um is

[31:20] relates to our testing and benchmarking

[31:22] for sustained uh bandwidth DOSs attacks.

[31:25] um just you know people who might just

[31:27] want to send spam and and garbage to try

[31:30] to disrupt a node service. Um so a lot

[31:34] of this is really really in the weeds um

[31:37] in terms of of refining a and

[31:42] refining and just uh polishing up the

[31:45] the security and the robustness and and

[31:48] the the ability of the uh validator set

[31:51] to withstand any sort of cheap attacks.

[31:53] Right. Um we we're confident um in the

[31:57] security assessments that we have

[31:58] completed. Uh but we we are never going

[32:01] to stop assessing new security angles

[32:04] and and new different attack surfaces

[32:05] and and new threat models. So u this

[32:08] this work relates to that. Um we are in

[32:10] a good spot because we have uh the

[32:13] protocol team has some time to kind of

[32:14] slow think here in these next few weeks

[32:17] to really you know anything that's left

[32:19] uncovered or that you know we want to

[32:21] double check um kind of go through.

[32:23] We've been on such a rapid sprint to get

[32:25] to this point where we're we feel

[32:27] comfortable uh if we had to launch

[32:29] tomorrow. Um but we are also um on a

[32:31] parallel path

[32:33] um working with partners and helping

[32:35] them get their infrastructure prepared

[32:37] and tested and and ready for mainet. And

[32:40] so while our partners and a larger

[32:42] ecosystem that comprises the entire

[32:45] Telcoin network mainet launch including

[32:47] DAP developers and partners and MOS and

[32:50] the decentralized validator set and the

[32:51] public RPC infrastructure and the

[32:53] bridges and the different um observer

[32:56] nodes and and just general users while

[32:59] we organize all those different players

[33:01] to launch mainet at Genesis

[33:04] we are also working on just some of

[33:07] these final touches and that's what PR50

[33:09] 1502 is about.

[33:12] Okay, this is another question with it.

[33:14] It's going to be a paragraph long. Is it

[33:17] still proving that the public network

[33:19] can reliably sustain concurrent user

[33:22] load across joins, lockups, submissions,

[33:26] and sync without failures? And could

[33:29] network launch without PR number 1502

[33:32] passing that qualification? Or is it

[33:35] passing a hard requirement for launch?

[33:49] Uh, Angelica, I'm sorry. I'm not sure I

[33:51] fully understand the question. So, I I

[33:52] got the last part here. So, is it we're

[33:54] we're saying

[33:57] if you had to summarize that question,

[33:58] what do you think would be the a

[34:01] succinct answer like is this because I I

[34:03] kind of understood the you know, is this

[34:05] PR a requirement for launch?

[34:06] Yeah. But basic basically um the

[34:10] question is saying is is the PR1502

[34:14] uh needed for launch or could the

[34:16] network launch without that PR?

[34:18] Um I think then well it it depends

[34:21] right. Um because defense is much harder

[34:23] than offense. Um an attacker just has to

[34:26] find one way to topple over a node that

[34:28] would disrupt service. We are u as

[34:31] confident as we can be um that there's

[34:34] uh that outside of the validator set

[34:37] there's no way to disrupt um and and you

[34:41] user funds or any sort of financial

[34:43] attack services. But there's always the

[34:45] possibility that somebody with a laptop

[34:47] could just bombard bytes at a validator

[34:49] node um and take up bandwidth which

[34:51] would prevent any sort of consensus or

[34:53] protocol messaging from reaching that

[34:55] endpoint. Um and so that's what a lot of

[34:57] this work is about, right? We want to

[34:59] know um you know if like how can we keep

[35:04] the network largely public and

[35:06] accessible to anybody who wants to

[35:08] participate while also preventing cheap

[35:11] attacks and lowb blows on the validator

[35:13] set that would ultimately affect all

[35:14] users. Um a lot of this is just kind of

[35:17] it's research focused. So u I it's you

[35:21] know this particular PR is not a

[35:23] requirement per se to launch mainet um

[35:26] but it is very much valuable research

[35:28] towards securing a network and making it

[35:30] more reliable for the long term in which

[35:33] case I would argue you know it's it's a

[35:36] that is that is a requirement in my

[35:38] opinion for mainet is having a a robust

[35:41] secure reliable network. Um yeah, but if

[35:46] you know if uh yeah, I'm I'm happy to

[35:50] follow up any more and I think you know

[35:51] the GitHub is a public forum and so I

[35:53] think these are great questions um and

[35:55] and for the type of depth um in that

[35:58] question happy to discuss this more

[36:00] openly in that forum if you're

[36:02] interested I appreciate the thoughts and

[36:04] the questions.

[36:07] The third question with mainet so close

[36:10] how are ms going to attain the tow they

[36:13] need to stake for being validators.

[36:16] So this is part of our uh partnership

[36:18] and organization aspect. So um on in

[36:20] genesis uh we will be helping to

[36:22] coordinate uh wallets tied to these

[36:26] validator staking and and their rewards

[36:30] um with having that staked in genesis as

[36:33] well. So uh with that there's a a bit of

[36:37] a chicken and an egg right we have to

[36:38] launch the network but that we need the

[36:40] network in order to connect the bridge

[36:43] and so what we're going to do is to

[36:45] allocate um governance funds that are

[36:48] set aside for these validator sets um in

[36:50] a in a

[36:56] an easy to identify and verify way that

[37:01] these funds these three um on either

[37:04] polygon base or ethereum probably

[37:06] polygon are going to be allocated for

[37:08] mainet genesis and once genesis goes

[37:11] live that tell will be burned and

[37:13] removed from the pool it will also be

[37:15] accounted for in genesis um for telcoin

[37:18] network.

[37:21] So once Telcoin network launches

[37:25] the the total supply of Tel will be

[37:30] verifiable on Telcoin network at the

[37:33] native bridge adapter and so in Genesis

[37:36] we will have Tel locked Tel on the

[37:39] native bridge adapter that exists on the

[37:41] other chains and then we will have the

[37:44] rest of the supply that is in Genesis

[37:46] and allocated in Genesis such as the 1

[37:48] million Tel stake for validators um that

[37:51] would not be locked in the valid in in

[37:52] the in the native bridge contract. So,

[37:56] and I I will I'm going to we will have

[37:59] uh documentation for this too, so

[38:00] everyone can go and and see that for

[38:02] themselves. Um and yeah, because I I

[38:05] think it's important and we're happy to

[38:07] share that strategy. uh you know we

[38:09] could go through hurdles and we we were

[38:11] exploring some some quite some um

[38:14] acrobatic solutions to do this um with

[38:18] in for the past I don't know two years

[38:21] um but ultimately I think that this is

[38:23] just as effective and it really reduces

[38:25] um the overhead and coordination with

[38:27] the bridge partner so this will be our

[38:29] our strategy to get tell and genesis

[38:32] while also being able to

[38:34] wait for the bridge to finish that full

[38:37] connection with existing tell.

[38:43] The next question is when will the

[38:45] exchanges upgrade to the new tell?

[38:49] Uh so Leo I think I think he had um he

[38:54] he was unable to make it today but he

[38:56] did send me a note. So the progress of

[38:58] the exchanges um we're working on the

[39:00] logistics and legal reviews right now

[39:02] for token swaps. Um what we have uh been

[39:06] told by a lot of the exchanges um is

[39:09] that they are more interested in

[39:12] performing a manual token swap meaning

[39:15] that we would provide them new tokens

[39:16] and then they would give us old tokens

[39:18] back. Um and that's really because of

[39:20] the strict internal policies that a lot

[39:21] of these exchanges have are are working

[39:23] with. And so they cannot call specific

[39:26] functions on chain without a lot of well

[39:31] that's what we've been told. They are

[39:32] not allowed to call specific functions

[39:33] on chain. So um you know we are trying

[39:36] to be patient and supportive and just uh

[39:40] get it done. So you know whatever it

[39:42] takes we are committed as an association

[39:44] to work with the exchanges and whatever

[39:46] makes them feel the most comfortable

[39:47] while also protecting uh the the total

[39:50] supply and um doing this in a

[39:52] responsible way. So uh yeah uh we will

[39:56] we are eager to share any updates that

[39:58] we have once we finalize that. Again

[39:59] it's in it's kind of in a a back and

[40:01] forth with the red lines and the

[40:02] lawyers. Um, but yeah, I I think also

[40:05] since we're on the topic, I you know,

[40:07] until this is finalized, it's really a

[40:09] good reminder for everyone to please do

[40:11] not send your Tel tokens to any

[40:12] exchanges, right? They they uh cannot

[40:16] support them and a lot of their policies

[40:18] um just because of the amount of fraud

[40:20] and risk involved is is sort of a a a

[40:22] hardline stance. So you know in a few

[40:27] years time when the migration is fully

[40:29] complete and things have settled down

[40:30] and there's no more outstanding tell two

[40:32] tell three sort of ecosystem environment

[40:35] there will be a path forward to recover

[40:36] the sort of tell three um and but until

[40:39] then um and and that path is still like

[40:42] very much the details are unknown um so

[40:44] please just be patient you're we we have

[40:47] lots of time to finish this up there

[40:50] will be ample ample opportunities to

[40:52] upgrade tell and to to uh you move the

[40:56] tell new tell around. Um but you know

[40:59] don't feel panic and and and in a rush

[41:01] because that's usually how mistakes can

[41:03] happen and that's also a frequent uh

[41:06] tool that attackers will use to try to

[41:09] uh trick someone into making a poor

[41:10] decision that ultimately causes them to

[41:13] lose their tail. So if it sounds too

[41:15] good to be true, it's probably too good

[41:16] to be true. um please feel free to reach

[41:19] out to the councils and and you know

[41:20] support and and all sorts of resources

[41:23] through the discord etc um to to confirm

[41:26] uh before

[41:28] any irreversible actions are taken right

[41:31] again like if our our goal as a

[41:35] as a governance council here is to

[41:38] support the community that is the token

[41:40] holders you right we're united around

[41:42] tell the token so we are not interested

[41:44] in taking your funds we're not

[41:45] interested in um you any sort of

[41:47] get-rich quick schemes. We're not we're

[41:49] not going to you send me one, I'll send

[41:51] you 10 sort of thing. This is a just a

[41:54] very transparent, straightforward one

[41:56] for one, tell two, tell three, new tell,

[41:59] old tell. Uh we're we're moving forward.

[42:02] So, please be sure to ask questions

[42:05] before you make a decision and don't

[42:07] feel pressured to make a fast decision.

[42:09] That is um we we work very hard to avoid

[42:11] any sort of rush throughout this

[42:13] decision-making process.

[42:16] Thank you Grant. The next question is

[42:18] how much Tel out of circling supply has

[42:21] been migrated to new? So there's a 100

[42:23] billion Tel 21.36 billion total upgraded

[42:28] on Ethereum 3.16 billion Polygon 18.11

[42:33] billion base 87.47

[42:36] million and it's on Telcoin.Hub

[42:39] and that's why Nick is working very hard

[42:41] for the web unification project that

[42:43] will come out soon.

[42:45] Does anybody else have anything to add

[42:47] with that?

[42:51] The next question is

[42:55] Sorry, Angelica. On the first lot of

[42:57] questions there that Adam put in, there

[42:59] was one uh number six. Do you want to go

[43:03] from there?

[43:06] You scroll up in the Google chat here.

[43:13] Well, from six, it's the is it still

[43:15] proving that the p public network that

[43:18] has been answered and then

[43:22] yes, and please feel free to read uh

[43:24] look at the benchmark.telcoin.network

[43:26] for more uh detailed analysis.

[43:29] And then number seven was any update on

[43:31] where the exchanges are with upgrading.

[43:34] Then it was the Tel circulating supply.

[43:36] Then the next question is, do we need

[43:39] exchanges supporting the Telv3 upgrade

[43:42] before mainet is launched?

[43:50] No, we do not. So, uh, we are happy to,

[43:55] uh, work with exchanges as, you know,

[43:57] ecosystem partners based on, you know,

[43:59] our con the constituents and the and the

[44:01] people who have voted for to support

[44:03] that endeavor. Um, our goal is also to

[44:06] support a decentralized uh exchange

[44:09] policy through TX on mainet um and and

[44:13] on other networks as well. So part of

[44:15] the TE3 upgrade was to make Telcoin uh

[44:18] truly an omni chain token. It's

[44:20] crosschain compatible. It is it's it's

[44:23] it's here for it's a it's been rebranded

[44:26] for the future,

[44:29] but we do not need exchanges to launch

[44:30] mainet.

[44:33] Well, here's another question. Are MOS's

[44:35] ready to reveal themselves when Maynet

[44:38] launches?

[44:41] Yes. And I think there's uh there may be

[44:45] some that announced before mainet even.

[44:51] Will Kraken Pro support OTC for tell?

[44:56] We'll uh we'll look into that.

[45:03] So after Genesis, how do MOS's attain

[45:06] mortell?

[45:12] Well, the the first one is that each new

[45:15] M validator that comes online um

[45:18] receives three million TE um 2 million

[45:20] for OPEX setup costs, 1 million for for

[45:24] stake. At that point, as validators,

[45:27] they earn Intel based off of fees in the

[45:29] block rewards. And uh if they want to

[45:32] participate as an application developer,

[45:34] the same thing goes for that. And then

[45:36] also um the uh they'll they'll buy tell

[45:42] if they want more than has been

[45:44] allocated to them.

[45:58] Thank you, Parker. Nick, were you Was

[46:00] there a question that I didn't read?

[46:03] No, I think you're good. Uh I I just

[46:05] didn't I didn't know in the first one's

[46:07] question six at the top, but I'm not

[46:09] sure if uh all the numbers here are a

[46:12] bit a bit crazy. So one of the questions

[46:15] was uh is it still proving that public

[46:19] network that the public network can

[46:21] reliably handle sustained concurrent

[46:24] user load across joins lookup

[46:26] submissions and sync without failures.

[46:29] Um

[46:31] I'm not sure on that question but

[46:32] obviously test net's been running for

[46:34] you know stable test net now been

[46:36] running for I don't know close to four

[46:37] months. Um but the benchmark

[46:41] telcoin.net network. This is the page

[46:42] that Grant's showing on screen. Um, but

[46:46] yeah, these are all these are all on our

[46:48] internal devet uh all of this testing,

[46:50] but Grant, maybe you want to just sum it

[46:53] up.

[46:54] Absolutely. So, we've demonstrated that

[46:56] and this these PRs and what we're

[46:58] working on now is to is to prevent to to

[47:02] make it so that it's we're we're

[47:05] reinforcing the tools that the

[47:07] validators use uh to communicate between

[47:10] each other. So in this networking um

[47:13] they they use QIC QUIC it's called quick

[47:18] um and it is a type of protocol that's

[47:20] used to transmit data back and forth

[47:22] between servers. So uh 1502 in

[47:26] particular is in regards to uh quick

[47:28] transport and certain sustained loads

[47:30] and and a and a particular strategy that

[47:32] we are considering implementing um that

[47:35] would basically uh protect the validator

[47:38] set as and a sort of subnet within the

[47:41] greater context of Telcoin network

[47:42] protocol. Um but as far as the um

[47:45] benchmarking goes, uh this is the most

[47:47] recent one that we are kind of playing

[47:49] that again like we're we're we're

[47:51] measuring parameters and configurations

[47:53] um and across geographically disparit

[47:56] regions. So uh this last one that is

[47:59] most published here, you can click into

[48:01] them to read a lot of the information,

[48:02] the types of transactions that were sent

[48:04] out, some of the lessons that were

[48:05] reflected on um and these sorts of

[48:07] graphs. And then um what I'm doing with

[48:09] this data is moving on to refine,

[48:11] reiterate um try again, tweak um and

[48:13] this is heavily uh automated um which

[48:17] has been really nice and helpful at this

[48:19] stage to sort of like set up these uh

[48:21] benchmarks. They run for about 45

[48:23] minutes under sustained load. Here we're

[48:24] measuring for 40 minutes um 5,433

[48:28] transactions per second. Um, this is

[48:30] with uh this is with a processor that

[48:34] you know I one of the things I realized

[48:36] is that we could be spinning these up

[48:37] with an even better processor. This is

[48:40] with a Intel Sapphire processor. Um, so

[48:43] the single core is the most important

[48:45] aspect for EVM execution. Um a lot of

[48:48] this particular measurements that I was

[48:50] working on for these first six uh had to

[48:53] do with the actual networking aspect and

[48:55] the transport layer um for how data

[48:57] packets are sent between nodes. Um but

[49:00] we are looking at uh you know this one

[49:03] was a little bit faster. They were

[49:05] longer block times but with a shorter

[49:06] block time which might be able to

[49:07] support let's say debit card payments um

[49:10] in real time. uh this would be looking

[49:12] at somewhere around 5,433.9

[49:15] transactions per second which was an

[49:17] average sustained under heavy load

[49:19] across 10 validators and one observer

[49:21] node. Um and this is across the

[49:24] different regions. So again please feel

[49:26] free to look at this. I'm happy to

[49:29] answer any follow-up questions. Um, but

[49:30] this is uh uh kind of where we're at

[49:33] right now while we are in the process of

[49:35] helping our partners kind of get up to

[49:37] speed and be prepared and ready to

[49:39] launch mainet because when it comes to

[49:41] mainet there's only one Genesis.

[49:45] This is a fun question. How do you guys

[49:48] stay calm during these meetings when you

[49:50] know behind the scenes details? Smile

[49:53] emoji.

[49:58] Uh I don't have an answer for that.

[50:02] Many years of uh crazy uh markets and uh

[50:07] building new technology makes you quite

[50:10] robust especially when there's a public

[50:12] market attached to it. And so there

[50:16] aren't that many sort of uh highs uh nor

[50:20] do we dwell in into the lows. We just

[50:23] try and keep a even baseline regardless

[50:25] of the market and the exciting things

[50:27] we're bringing to it.

[50:33] That's right. Slow and steady wins the

[50:34] race.

[50:36] You all you have your grant isms 1000

[50:39] points. You got smashed a bug in that.

[50:43] The next question is I'm confused about

[50:46] price. It is needed to fund operation.

[50:49] Why not market the TAL token itself? Is

[50:52] there a plan to do that once mainet is

[50:54] live? It only benefits Tel if the price

[50:57] goes up.

[51:00] Yeah, absolutely. I mean, it's uh Tel

[51:04] is, you know, the native um unit of

[51:06] account uh commodity good at the center

[51:09] of everything that we're building. And

[51:11] the Telcoin network is its home. It's

[51:13] the culmination of years of development,

[51:15] but it's also the the realization of the

[51:18] vision that Tel is is is designed to

[51:21] enable. And so as we continue to move uh

[51:25] towards mainet um we will absolutely

[51:28] continue and really um open up the

[51:30] floodgates for marketing tell um and uh

[51:34] you know we're we're certainly excited

[51:36] about it as an as an asset um both in

[51:39] terms of its utility, its value, its

[51:41] future prospects at the center of this

[51:43] digital economy and uh we we want to

[51:45] make sure that the world knows that too.

[51:47] So, um certainly uh hear uh the question

[51:51] um and uh we're we'll respond to it um

[51:54] on our end.

[51:58] Will there be a Telcoin app upgrade

[52:00] soon? Wait, will there be a Telcoin

[52:03] upgrade soon line to mainet?

[52:08] That question would is better hosted for

[52:12] um a Telcoin holdings call. Um, however,

[52:14] we will we will uh circulate and and get

[52:17] back to you on timing.

[52:21] If 1502 is only benchmarking testing,

[52:24] what specifically needs to happen after

[52:27] 1502 passes before production launch?

[52:31] So, there's a lot of moving parts with

[52:33] the development and and of protocol, the

[52:36] telco network protocol. So, it's not

[52:37] just 1502, right? This is one of the

[52:42] uh many paths that we are evaluating and

[52:46] moving forward. So um part of 1502 is a

[52:50] um security posture and assessing um how

[52:53] much sustained

[52:55] bandwidth and and messaging we can hold

[52:58] um under under multiple peers. Part of

[53:02] this uh allows us to assess how many uh

[53:05] nodes a particular node could be

[53:07] connected to. So we call these peers on

[53:09] the network. So how many peers can a

[53:10] node be connected to um without

[53:12] degrading performance or or jeopardizing

[53:16] uh

[53:19] downtime uptime um but you know there

[53:22] there are a lot of other things in 1502

[53:24] the protocol is it it doesn't stop. So

[53:27] the only thing that we are are

[53:31] so [clears throat] I think maybe there's

[53:33] uh just to be clear so the the protocol

[53:35] is feature complete for mainet right we

[53:37] feel good about where the protocol is we

[53:39] are not missing any features we're

[53:40] currently working towards you know uh uh

[53:45] icing on the cake if you will because we

[53:47] have a little bit extra time here while

[53:49] our ecosystem partners and the other

[53:50] things that are going to be part of the

[53:52] mainet launch outside of just running a

[53:54] node right we can flip on a node but if

[53:55] nobody can access a bridge and nobody

[53:58] can submit transactions and nobody can

[54:01] um you know uh use an app like what what

[54:05] are you going to do on the network? So

[54:07] while we are while these other um

[54:10] ecosystem development and and sort of uh

[54:13] you know coordination across a lot of

[54:16] different moving parts while this is

[54:17] happening and getting organizing being

[54:19] and and doing this um the protocol team

[54:21] is constantly evaluating um different

[54:25] attack and surfaces threat models and

[54:27] double-checking our work in preparation

[54:29] for the mainet launch um until we're all

[54:31] cleared and we're like okay everybody's

[54:33] ready like everybody's ready we take the

[54:35] first step together. Um and and during

[54:37] that time, um one of the things that

[54:39] we're evaluating is PRs like 1502. Um

[54:42] we're also assessing how we can scale

[54:45] multiple workers, um to support the

[54:46] different base fees. Um we're looking at

[54:49] uh zero knowledge proofs. Um we're

[54:51] looking at um you know, DEX support um

[54:55] all sorts of different things because

[54:57] you know, mainet is a really important

[54:59] first step to get right. Um and so that

[55:01] is the bulk of the focus here. Um and so

[55:04] in these other but once mainet launches

[55:08] that's just the start of of telcoin

[55:10] network and it's going to move very

[55:11] quickly after that and we've got a lot

[55:13] of really exciting things in the

[55:14] pipeline. Um and we just want to make

[55:16] sure that the the foundation is as

[55:18] secure as possible. So um you know as

[55:20] far as you know once the required

[55:23] benchmarks and test and 1502 pass is the

[55:25] production code then ready for release?

[55:27] Yes. And you know it is we consider test

[55:29] net to already be production code. it is

[55:31] already in production. Um, and we treat

[55:33] it very seriously as if it was a mainet

[55:35] because that's that's one of the ways

[55:36] that we can really get prepared for the

[55:38] real deal. Um, the only difference

[55:40] between testn net and mainet is going to

[55:42] be the perceived um value by the by the

[55:45] larger community, right? So, you know,

[55:47] test net is is here. We are also um

[55:51] coordinating upgrades through that which

[55:53] we'll be doing on mainet as well. So,

[55:54] there's just a lot of different parts

[55:55] and you know, this never stops. It's not

[55:57] like we'll be able to archive the

[55:58] codebase and then we're done. Um, we

[56:00] will be working on this code for for

[56:02] years to come and it's only going to get

[56:04] better.

[56:06] What date is mainet?

[56:10] Well, mainet is happening in 2026. We're

[56:13] about to hit like, you know, a

[56:17] a really really exciting milestone for

[56:19] the project, but that's all I'm willing

[56:20] to say right now.

[56:27] When the advisor is announced, will

[56:29] there be a big media Twitter push behind

[56:32] it?

[56:35] Yep, absolutely.

[56:38] And LinkedIn.

[56:46] Okay. Can we add liquidity pools in the

[56:50] app?

[56:53] more of a tokcoin holdings question, but

[56:55] certainly an area of exciting uh

[56:57] development.

[56:59] Yeah. And then for the association uh

[57:01] wallet too and and those sorts of

[57:02] things. Yeah, definitely great ideas.

[57:07] I'm giving the council the floor because

[57:09] there are no more other questions.

[57:16] Then I am closing out the meeting.

[57:24] Thank you everyone for joining our 48th

[57:26] platform and treasury council meeting.

[57:29] The next meetings are October 26,

[57:32] October 29th and November 12th.

[57:36] 2026 is the year of Telcoin mainet is

[57:40] coming. M validators are setting up and

[57:43] actively testing the telecom blockchain

[57:46] standard is becoming reality. See you in

[57:48] two weeks. 2026, the year of Telcoin,

[57:53] the internet of money.

[57:57] Thanks, Angelica.

[57:58] Awesome. Thanks, Angelica. Free damage.
