[00:00] Okay.
[00:00] Hello everyone.
[00:03] Welcome back to another episode, another chapter, another session of our campaign.
[00:10] You had just made it out.
[00:12] Congratulations for making it out of the prologue of the story where your wandering destinies have come to a crossroads have um converged in a rather cryptic and unusual um path which at the end of it took you well after almost ripping each other's heads off by crossing the the waring bridge of the two kings.
[00:43] Um eventually placating or vanquishing this enchantment of the two kings and freeing yourselves from the curse of animosity when your sorcerer Alrich was able to restore Stonebridge's fourth watcher.
[01:01] Um, in its place.
[01:06] And then afterwards, the five, of course, free from the hold of the stone bridge of the two kings, are able to go on your way with a clear head and clearer hearts to finally absolve yourselves of the hold of the Feywild and your journey.
[01:24] Um, with the last endeavor fulfilled, OD's affair that had brought her there, which was to amend or ask for the forgiveness of the moon fawn, which took form of a humanoid, well, thawn in the fa.
[01:45] After asking for forgiveness and meeting a handsome owl bear, a handsome personified owl bear named Aramus, whom we are not so sure if we shall ever...
[02:02] See.
[02:04] But to popular request, who knows?
[02:08] Uh, Odi was therefore able to free herself from the hold of the fail.
[02:15] And after liberation of the five intrepid adventurers who were brought together by fates, the five of you stumbled upon a rather strange reflection made of stone.
[02:29] Five statues cloaked and concealed of their identities.
[02:36] However, rather familiar uh were quite short about the height of children or small.
[02:45] The other three were well your average and uh tall travelers.
[02:55] However, you sensed a faint familiarity with this ancient uh.
[03:03] Ancient erections of the fay.
[03:08] What, what's with that face, Lands?
[03:11] That's a perfectly acceptable word.
[03:17] But anyway, so deciphering um celestial deciphering texts that was written eons ago, um written in celestial from the stone, you were able to chisel out from from Oblivion a few phrases um indistinct from message it concealed.
[03:42] Also, you know, as adventurers of the realm that prophecies come and go.
[03:44] Some of them aren't even fulfilled.
[03:48] They reach their fruition without having ever um either accurately portrayed what will come to pass or faithfully.
[04:04] Um, accomplish what they were, what message they were meant to pass on.
[04:09] And you know that there are hundreds of prophecies every decade.
[04:16] Got an Amber Alert.
[04:17] No.
[04:17] Go away.
[04:18] Yeah, me too.
[04:19] I got one, too.
[04:21] What the [__]?
[04:24] It's the fay.
[04:25] They're very angry.
[04:26] So, um, you know as adventurers that prophecies they they come they come um upon hundreds of of upon hundreds upon hundreds um per millennia.
[04:42] There are a lot of course in the realm with a lot of seers and um gatherings of fates.
[04:50] It is not new to encounter especially an old prophecy that, um, as far as the five of you know or are concerned, was never fulfilled in the first place.
[05:03] Um, but you have your.
[05:06] Suspicion.
[05:09] The deep corners of the walls of your heart you feel something reminiscent in these stones.
[05:17] However, upon investigation, the guardians of the statue grove awakened as one by one, howing woods, protecting this ancient message carried by the last celestials of Anatheon, at least in the fa wild, started to attack and almost brought down several of you in their advance.
[05:41] The five of you having been freed from the fay were able to follow the fireflies and travel by by the light of the fire into a portal taking you back to the prime material realm.
[05:57] And standing together you jumped through the doorway whereupon you met the bright shining sun of dawn.
[06:14] After returning to the prime material realm to the proal realm, you found that your mysterious affairs, the things that brought you to the Fay Wild, were suddenly passed as the nights almost uneventually, at least from where you came from, um, passed over without occasion.
[06:54] And you now all of you wake up in the ambit of dawn hours after you were spirited away.
[07:02] Despite you having spent two days and one night in the fail wild, it seems that you've only been missing for one night.
[07:12] However, the story doesn't pick up air.
[07:17] Instead, we will go to a poppy.
[07:29] This is a few days after you met your strange companions in the Fay Wild.
[07:36] Um, you encountered these people.
[07:38] They helped you one way or another.
[07:40] You fought side by side, but you weren't sure if that was just a dream or not.
[07:49] You weren't sure what where these rogue memories uh came from, whether in the night or from the recesses of your imagination.
[08:00] But regardless, days after um this strange dream of traveling with four other people whose names you still remember quite vividly, you find yourself back in the the village of.
[08:18] Capulet and you walk into a tavern.
[08:28] Okay.
[08:29] Um, so as I walk into the tavern, I go straight to um where the inke keep is the inkeeper.
[08:42] Is that how they call them?
[08:44] Yeah, there there is well in the small hamlets of Capulet there are uh the ins are few and far apart.
[09:00] Um big uh big towns would have like inkeepers inside taverns um and stuff like that for Capulet ins are somewhat separate uh then uh from the taverns themselves.
[09:15] I see.
[09:16] Yeah.
[09:17] All right.
[09:18] So, I'll go to
[09:20] The bar.
[09:21] Is there a bar there?
[09:23] The Yes.
[09:24] And then uh I would like to talk to the the person in charge of the bar the moment.
[09:30] I would say um well hello good morning.
[09:37] Hello then.
[09:38] What can I get you?
[09:40] Uh do you have anything to to eat or drink at this this very fine morning?
[09:48] Of course.
[09:49] You're at the Merl Inn, famous for having exactly things to eat or drink.
[09:54] What would you like to have?
[09:57] I don't suppose you're, you know, you're you're not I mean, pardon me saying we don't get many halflings in your carts.
[10:06] You're not a child, are you?
[10:09] Because I cannot serve you spirits if you are.
[10:12] Oh, no.
[10:13] I am a very middle-aged, not a child anymore, and very small.
[10:19] But uh I would like something a bit
[10:22] Substantial, you would say.
[10:25] But uh I would I would actually be very open to you.
[10:28] I don't have many gold at the moment.
[10:30] Uh do you have anything that's um quite filling?
[10:36] It would be best if you give me some sort of like um uh it could be a dessert or something, but uh I don't have much gold.
[10:45] But you know if you you would lend me your kitchen maybe I can make something for myself and then just buy a drink or what are our options here.
[10:52] All right little lass, you have to relax.
[10:58] We don't don't open access our uh our kitchen for just anyone to access, but I can definitely you know address half of your needs.
[11:08] We do have well well we do have a fresh shipment of honeycomb from the farms if you would like.
[11:13] So we also have milk and uh well mead and barley's to drink.
[11:23] You got me?
[11:25] Yes.
[11:27] So do you have like a fireside amber perhaps or is it a different brand?
[11:32] No.
[11:32] Uh something else I do I do realize.
[11:38] Well, uh halfling folk are very uh stout appetite uh appetited when it comes to drinking and uh that fireside me well I it's a it's the talk amongst barkeepers uh it's quite a strong it has quite a strong kick to it but here in our establishment uh he kind of lowers his voice and like uh well we used to serve it but not anymore.
[12:14] We haven't kept uh you know longstanding relationships with other barkeeps especially from from willow me and other.
[12:23] Halfling and well other villages.
[12:28] But let's not get, that's a different story altogether.
[12:30] But guess I can definitely get you a drink.
[12:33] Uh, mid 100% hopper by the.
[12:43] Right, I'll get that.
[12:43] That would be very nice.
[12:45] It's, it's nice.
[12:47] I would very like wiping and like preparing dishes under the counter like dessert.
[12:52] You said how do you call me?
[12:54] Sweet cakes.
[12:54] Cinnamon rolls for a cinnamon roll.
[12:58] How about the one, how much is the sweet cake and the cinnamon roll?
[13:04] Those will be two copper per each.
[13:07] Oh, maybe I get two of them.
[13:10] One for the road and one I will eat from now.
[13:12] Absolutely.
[13:12] Uh, he starts preparing your order.
[13:15] At this point, more of you start to uh arrive at the place of meeting where unknowingly Poppy.
[13:26] Is uh talking at the barkeep.
[13:29] At this point, Olrich and Sheamus, you're walking down the road in the town center of Abulet, and the two of you lock eyes just in front of the tavern.
[13:50] Ex, excuse me.
[13:50] You I pardon me, uh, sir, but you seem kind of familiar.
[13:57] Would you happen to be a man named Sheamus?
[14:02] Well, um, you do seem familiar myself.
[14:08] Is your name other for times?
[14:11] Yes, that that is indeed my name.
[14:14] So, M Mr. Sheamus, correct?
[14:17] Yeah.
[14:17] Yeah.
[14:17] Yes, that's correct.
[14:19] A few a few days ago.
[14:19] I I don't I I'm still not certain if it was a dream or a a premonition of some sort, but I seem.
[14:28] To remember that we had a quite an experience in the FA one.
[14:34] I think that's that's a big coincidence.
[14:37] I also had that same premonition or dream.
[14:40] Were you, if I'm not mistaken, accompanied by this invisible little halfling?
[14:46] Yes, Miss Miss Poppy.
[14:48] Yeah, I remember her too.
[14:51] I've been I was actually looking for her the moment we w I woke up, but uh but unfortunately I seems like I was alone at the time, but it would be nice if we could find her as well at some point.
[15:05] Um if I recall correctly, you're you're a cleric of ill matter.
[15:07] Is that correct?
[15:11] Oh, well, yes.
[15:14] How did you know?
[15:15] Yeah, you you you you prayed and you had um you know remember that uh um sort of eulogy you did for those uh those uh individuals that we buried in.
[15:30] The farewell.
[15:32] That was part of the dream.
[15:33] I don't know if it was real exactly.
[15:35] I remember seeing your symbol at that time.
[15:40] Well, yes, I do worship the god Il Mata.
[15:45] That's really a coincidence that we still remember this.
[15:49] It's as if it's a dream.
[15:51] Well, indeed.
[15:55] Um, if you don't mind, I mean, we're already in front of the tavern.
[15:56] Maybe we could catch up over a drink or two.
[16:03] That would be lovely.
[16:06] Uh, I guess the drink's only.
[16:07] Oh, sure.
[16:07] As the two of you are walking inside the tavern, you bump into a tall rusk woman carrying a mall on her back and a frying pan by her waist.
[16:19] Oh, de.
[16:24] Oh, excuse me.
[16:24] Sh.
[16:27] Excuse me, miss.
[16:27] Uh, and I look at her.
[16:31] And I'm like, is this, are you...
[16:38] Oh.
[16:39] You're, are you that, that uh...
[16:43] that person I burned, that I hit?
[16:48] Yeah, I remember.
[16:49] You're the one who turned into a tree.
[16:50] Yeah.
[16:50] Yes, that's me.
[16:50] And you're the person who hit me while I was a tree.
[16:57] I think I can still feel the pain on my left shoulder.
[17:01] Oh, I'm very sorry.
[17:04] I wasn't sure.
[17:05] Is it just you here?
[17:08] Is it just you, sir?
[17:10] Mr. Sheamus, right?
[17:11] Yes, I'm Olrich.
[17:11] Yes.
[17:11] Uh, do you remember Mr. Sheamus?
[17:16] Hello there.
[17:17] Oh, hello Sheamus.
[17:20] Yes.
[17:20] Hello.
[17:20] How's it been?
[17:22] How have you guys been?
[17:24] It's actually quite daunting.
[17:24] Ever since we kind of woke up, it's like I don't know.
[17:24] Everything was a dream, but yet it...
[17:32] Felt so real.
[17:35] Exactly.
[17:35] That's exactly how I felt as well.
[17:37] That is true.
[17:39] We were actually just going to go inside the tavern.
[17:41] Would you care to join us?
[17:44] Oh, sure thing.
[17:44] Maybe we might find uh the little girl and the little guy there, huh?
[17:51] Let's hope so.
[17:51] And Mr. Sheamus is buying drinks for us.
[17:57] Yes.
[17:59] Me, too.
[18:00] Yes.
[18:01] Oh, wow.
[18:03] At this point, you do see Poppy.
[18:03] She's now seated eating uh cinnamon rolls and sweet cakes and drinking meat.
[18:11] Of course, she is.
[18:12] And then I run to her.
[18:14] Order.
[18:16] Oh, Miss Poppy, is that you?
[18:21] Like I tap on her shoulder as I say that.
[18:24] Are you muted sometimes?
[18:25] Oh, I would I would notice her and say, "Oh, is it you, Odie?
[18:29] I kind of missed.
[18:33] You.
[18:35] Oh, you, you're with the other people.
[18:38] Yes, they're here.
[18:40] See, I've, I've actually ordered something nice after our little adventure.
[18:44] Have you, have you tried the sweet cakes and the cinnamon buns?
[18:50] It's really nice.
[18:51] You should have had a cinnamon bun before.
[18:53] Can I try?
[18:55] Yeah.
[18:55] Yeah, I grab one and then I just, and then I just like stuff it into my mouth like just going like, oh, good.
[19:08] It's really good.
[19:08] Right, right balance of sweetness and cinnamon goodness.
[19:16] I'm not very familiar with cinnamon.
[19:18] It's very good.
[19:18] At this point, Cass, you step out of, um, the lavatory, um.
[19:28] Was in the bathroom the entire time and you have been actually hiding.
[19:34] Because, uh, a few minutes ago you saw from the window, um, somewhere down the alleys, you saw this, the same bandits that were after you three days ago.
[19:51] So, as I'm carrying Ellie, I'm just scrub over the other people.
[19:53] Are they gone?
[19:57] And then I, I see like familiar faces over the counter.
[20:00] Are those the bandits?
[20:07] And then I just put over towards the door, trying to sneak my way up.
[20:14] You're going to sneak out of the tab?
[20:17] Uh, they're not inside the tavern.
[20:20] Uh, you're at the tavern, so you don't have to like hide.
[20:23] I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm going to sneak my way out and just peek through the door.
[20:28] Like so I don't, I, I sneak my way through the people, I think, so they don't, so they don't notice me.
[20:34] Bump into the goldenhaired elf.
[20:40] Gold.
[20:47] It's you again, Mr. Tess.
[20:50] Where have you been?
[20:52] How do you know? How do you know Tessk's
[20:54] name? Are you after my call, too?
[20:57] No, I'm You told me in the while. Do you
[21:01] not remember everything that happened
[21:03] there?
[21:04] Yeah. Tekk forgets everything. So, you
[21:06] know, you can't rely on it much. Very.
[21:10] It's very peculiar that you know my
[21:11] name.
[21:13] Well, doesn't that
[21:14] Are you with them?
[21:16] With who? I don't know who you're
[21:18] talking about.
[21:20] Ah, silly.
[21:23] The people right behind you.
[21:26] No, I think he's talking about the
[21:28] bandits.
[21:29] Bandits are outside. They're not in the
[21:32] They're like
[21:32] Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
[21:33] They were spotted like 10 minutes ago
[21:36] somewhere.
[21:38] Oh,
[21:38] in the you separate it all. Can you hide
[21:41] the sec for a minute?
[21:43] Why? Why? What? Why are they after me?
[21:46] Stop asking questions. Can I hide with
[21:48] you?
[21:50] Sure. I get
[21:54] is also kind of hungry. I haven't eaten
[21:57] in days.
[21:59] You know,
[22:00] you're in luck. I was going to buy
[22:02] drinks for every single one of us here.
[22:04] And I can't I check by the most
[22:06] expensive things.
[22:08] Of course not. I mean I'm giving this
[22:11] out of my kindness. Don't abuse.
[22:15] I would let you hold. I would let you
[22:17] hold if you would buy me the most
[22:19] expensive thing.
[22:21] Let's ask first how much the expensive
[22:23] thing is.
[22:25] The expensive thing. Uh the barky kind
[22:28] of winks at you is like ah the expensive
[22:30] thing. Yes. You have that. Hold on. He
[22:34] kind of goes to the back and you see him
[22:36] discreetly wiping the
[22:38] off of something similar to the other
[22:41] bottles, but like slapping um slapping
[22:45] like uh different parchment over the
[22:48] bottle and then marking up the price. Um
[22:51] he says, "Right here, this is the
[22:53] expensive thing. We've we've kept this
[22:57] for well for so long. I wasn't even a
[23:00] boy when when you know my when when my
[23:03] granny bought it here. Yes. The
[23:06] expensive thing that that that will be
[23:10] uh well uh uh he he kind of calculates
[23:13] in his head that will be two gold for
[23:16] the expensive thing.
[23:20] Cas would like that well please.
[23:22] U hold on a moment Mr. Cass. I am going
[23:25] to examine the bottle and see if it's
[23:28] like high quality.
[23:31] Um, it's obviously not high quality. And
[23:33] you did see him like slap a different
[23:36] like brand on it, different writing on
[23:39] it. He's like, I promise you it's
[23:43] you you will get uh well tips in
[23:47] regardless. It's all the same. But you
[23:50] know, I mean, not all the same. This is
[23:52] expensive. This is top shelf stuff.
[23:57] Pardon me, Mr. Barky. If you're trying
[24:00] to sell me like some old wine that you
[24:03] found on the street or just merely just
[24:06] just within your collection, you must be
[24:09] taking me as a fool as I tasted the
[24:12] highest of qualities from my past days.
[24:15] Are you sure this is the same thing?
[24:20] Hi, good sir, Mr. Upy over here. I would
[24:25] never
[24:27] ever pass on. All right, fine. It's one
[24:31] of my concoctions.
[24:33] It's not necessarily, you know,
[24:35] sanctioned by the by by the mayor
[24:39] government, but
[24:41] I just I wanted a chance. I'm a I'm a
[24:45] starting entrepreneur. My wife always
[24:47] said, "Chase your dreams."
[24:50] But fine, I'll give it to you for eight
[24:53] copper.
[24:55] That's better. Uh,
[24:58] eight copper because um it is kind of
[25:01] like the barkeep special brew. They they
[25:04] brewed it themselves. It's experimental.
[25:07] It's artisan stuff like that. It's not
[25:09] it's not the standard like the cheap ale
[25:12] um already on stock. So, he's You you
[25:16] get the sense he's passing off his own
[25:18] work like an opportunity to sell his own
[25:20] work for
[25:22] for a higher price.
[25:24] Okay. U well uh let's have a taste of
[25:28] this concoction with me. I'll take that
[25:31] and a drink for one of my friends right
[25:33] here.
[25:34] Is it a copper for the whole bottle?
[25:39] Yes.
[25:39] And it's like a isro.
[25:43] Do not ask me about measurements. I am
[25:48] having a hard time economics of copper
[25:50] and silver gold.
[25:52] It's a whole white bottle. Okay.
[25:55] Bottle.
[25:56] So while while uh Sheamus sent
[26:02] are tasting it. I'm just going to like
[26:03] grab it for a bit and then
[26:07] What's that fruity scent smell? What did
[26:09] you mix in this?
[26:10] Fruity. I have a wife, mind you. How you
[26:14] call?
[26:17] What?
[26:19] He thought YOU CALLED HIM GAY. HE
[26:21] THOUGHT YOU CALLED him gay.
[26:26] Lady, I don't think that's why insult
[26:28] someone.
[26:30] I'm saying, sir, it smells like fruit in
[26:32] this drink.
[26:34] I don't know what fruity you mean.
[26:37] All right.
[26:40] So yes sir, what did you
[26:43] walk back to the bar like this?
[26:52] Well,
[26:54] you guys want to taste?
[26:57] Sure. Take a drink uh from the bottle.
[27:02] Yeah, sure.
[27:04] Sure. Everyone give me a constitution
[27:06] saving throw. Oh my god. Oh my god.
[27:09] Already.
[27:11] God damn.
[27:13] Constitution saving throw.
[27:15] You're all dead.
[27:18] Natural 20.
[27:22] That's a 23.
[27:24] That's a 23.
[27:25] I also got a 23. Why do I get a natural
[27:27] 20?
[27:28] 14.
[27:29] I got 18.
[27:30] It's a role for something that doesn't
[27:32] matter.
[27:34] When we're when we're in portal,
[27:36] natural one.
[27:38] Natural one.
[27:40] No. No.
[27:40] God damn.
[27:41] When we're in battle, we just get
[27:42] natural ones.
[27:44] I got a 18.
[27:47] I got a 14.
[27:49] I got a 23. Natural.
[27:54] Okay. Um, anyone who rolled below the DC
[27:58] would be 10 plus your constitution
[28:01] modifiers.
[28:03] So, I can't I don't have them on hand
[28:05] right now, but you can count against a
[28:08] DC. If you did not meet it, you are
[28:10] tipsy.
[28:12] So, we we have to beat 10 plus our
[28:15] constitution modifier. I I beat
[28:17] Oh, I beat it.
[28:19] Everyone beat it.
[28:22] Heavy drinker is all right.
[28:29] Um, at this point you guys are of course
[28:31] sitting around the table passing around
[28:33] this strange fruity ale that the barkeep
[28:37] um whipped up himself. Um, none of you I
[28:42] believe are tipsy or buzzed from it. Um,
[28:46] n man. So at this point though, you hear
[28:49] the front the entrance of you hear the
[28:52] entrance.
[28:54] Uh, yeah. That's the same music I mean.
[28:56] You hear the entrance
[28:58] burst open and heavy footfalls striking
[29:03] the planks as shadows loom
[29:08] uh across the sunlit floor.
[29:12] Three cloaked figures. Not really
[29:16] cloaked,
[29:17] but you hide behind Sheamus. Sure. but
[29:20] not
[29:22] but you know like they are concealed up
[29:25] to the the mouths. Um you you can tell
[29:30] that they are armed u a little bit of
[29:33] metal peaks and glints in the spaces
[29:36] between the slits of their of their
[29:39] fabrics
[29:41] as they hone in towards the corner of
[29:45] cavern. and you say, "Ah,
[29:49] there's our little friend. We've been
[29:51] looking for you for days now." Um, three
[29:55] of them approach
[29:57] and kind of like crowd around your
[30:01] table. Um, especially
[30:05] nearby uh Sheamus. all eyes locked on on
[30:10] Tessk, specifically on the go on the on
[30:14] the outright
[30:16] uh visible gold filaments of Tessix's
[30:21] rig strapped behind his back. Um almost
[30:24] like a beacon for thieves and vagabonds
[30:26] in a onem radius. You can see it drawing
[30:30] attention especially since Tessix rig is
[30:34] a site that is quite uncommon
[30:38] um in the provinces in the rushies of
[30:43] Elios. It's it's make and fashion and
[30:48] quite frankly level of mechanical
[30:50] technology does not exist currently um
[30:53] anywhere in
[30:56] in this side of the continent uh as far
[31:00] as five of you know. But the the the
[31:02] three bandits kind of eye the gold
[31:04] filaments. It's almost like they're
[31:06] talking to the rig and not Tess and
[31:08] says, "Where have you been little?
[31:12] Pardon me.
[31:14] It seems they're having a little bit of
[31:16] a drink. How about it? You You look like
[31:19] you can buy one more round for our new
[31:22] friends. Say we welcome in the stable.
[31:27] Please don't turn us away.
[31:31] Listen to them.
[31:36] Well, gentlemen, uh what brings you guys
[31:38] here?
[31:40] Oh, we are born and bred capulations, of
[31:44] course.
[31:45] But we have an eye for greater
[31:48] ambitions.
[31:51] And what would those greater ambitions
[31:54] be?
[31:55] Well, I mean, what greater ambition
[31:58] would there be for simple folk than the
[32:01] gleam and glory of gold?
[32:05] Well, sir, you can find a job.
[32:08] Really?
[32:11] I just love her, bro.
[32:14] I like the cut of your tongue, lady. We
[32:17] do have a job.
[32:18] I bet you wouldn't want to know what it
[32:20] is.
[32:23] Well, sir, I don't think you're supposed
[32:26] to be taking gold in a tavern. No,
[32:28] unless you're working behind the bar.
[32:31] Taking? Who said anything about taking?
[32:34] Um, one of them kind of slips out the
[32:37] blade and
[32:41] not attacks, but essentially before any
[32:44] of you can uh before any of you can even
[32:49] react to something you barely notice,
[32:52] the blade is already pointed at the rib
[32:55] of Tess like press the tip press at the
[32:58] rib discreetly.
[33:01] Who said anything about taking?
[33:03] girlfriends here and friends share.
[33:06] Isn't that right, little gnome? Uh, at
[33:09] this point, Pepper, you over here,
[33:12] you've been listening to this
[33:13] conversation the entire time, and
[33:17] something about this just like gets your
[33:19] gears grinding. Uh, Pepper, would you
[33:23] like to please introduce your character?
[33:27] Oh my god, I'm so nervous.
[33:32] So giddy.
[33:34] Anyway,
[33:37] I hear a bunch of commotion happening
[33:39] over there.
[33:44] Is that a conquest I hear coming up? A
[33:48] challenge?
[33:49] It's not necessar Wait, do you say this
[33:51] in in character?
[33:53] No, no, no, no.
[33:54] Okay. It's not necessarily a conqueror
[33:56] character. It's just, you know, you get
[33:59] the picture. It's a bunch of ruffians
[34:02] roughing up um innocent tourists uh in
[34:07] the tavern. Um and you just you don't
[34:10] like it.
[34:12] Uh but tell us what you tell us what
[34:14] what we see first. Uh what what do we
[34:17] see as your character steps out from
[34:20] obscurity?
[34:22] Please introduce uh Corvincius
[34:26] or describe what
[34:28] I have to introduce my name. Oh my god.
[34:30] Wait, is his name Corvius still?
[34:33] No. No, of course not.
[34:35] Oh, is it not? It change your You should
[34:38] change your Discord date to your actual
[34:40] Discord.
[34:41] I was going to change it once I've
[34:43] actually revealed the character.
[34:45] Let him introduce.
[34:47] Let him cook.
[34:49] Let him cook. No, even Jeff was
[34:51] confused. That's what I have to say.
[34:53] Yeah. Yeah. I need to just make a quick
[34:56] tweet to then um tell me, you can
[34:59] message me personally if you don't want
[35:00] it revealed yet what your character's
[35:02] name is. Do that quickly right now.
[35:08] I'll send it to you right now.
[35:10] Yes.
[35:11] Sorry guys.
[35:12] This is all very new to me. It's been
[35:15] like four years.
[35:18] That's fine.
[35:20] It was heavy anyway, so I'm happy.
[35:24] My turn.
[35:29] Okay.
[35:32] I'm ready. I'm ready. Ready to introduce
[35:34] my character.
[35:39] So, with all the
[35:42] going on.
[35:43] Yeah. Introduce your character.
[35:50] A figure from the shadows steps out.
[35:54] A figure with holy symbols scratched off
[35:56] his armor
[35:58] with beaten up chain mail
[36:01] with prayer beads wrapped around his h.
[36:06] He looks out and sees a band of
[36:08] strangers causing commotion in the
[36:11] tavern.
[36:12] He questions whether or not to step in
[36:16] to calm the noise.
[36:18] or to join in on the conversation.
[36:25] Okay. Um you see right just right from
[36:30] across the other table this hulking
[36:35] silhouette backlit by the fire uh the
[36:38] embers of the firelight place behind
[36:41] him. Stand up. You see his back before
[36:45] you hear his voice.
[36:48] God damn. Oh my go.
[36:54] Um, don't worry if you don't want your
[36:56] name revealed yet. They don't know this.
[36:59] Their characters don't know this. So,
[37:01] you can of course still introduce
[37:02] yourself. Yeah. You stand up. What do
[37:05] you say? Um, as you are privy to the
[37:09] blade pressed against Tessic's uh rib or
[37:13] this gnome's rib. Um, what do you say to
[37:18] address the situation?
[37:23] I'd say
[37:27] it's not worth using such a fine blade
[37:32] on such a small thing.
[37:35] So insignificant, it wastes blood.
[37:38] God damn.
[37:41] Um the band one of the bandits kind of
[37:44] we we ain't talking to you but mind your
[37:47] own goddamn business.
[37:52] I've been minding my own business from a
[37:53] filthy eye breed like you. You have no
[37:56] business.
[37:57] Oh my god. We're racist.
[38:00] Stay in character. Stay in character.
[38:09] I'd be careful with the words that come
[38:12] out of my mouth knowing that the guy I'm
[38:15] talking to could cut off my tongue
[38:20] or
[38:21] do you say anything else or does anyone
[38:24] do or say anything else?
[38:28] About to buff.
[38:31] I stand up. I stand up and
[38:35] Oh, good sir. I don't think friends
[38:38] really point daggers at each other. No.
[38:45] Hiding behind this.
[38:47] Um, and you use your imposing figure to
[38:50] uh to address the bandits. Uh,
[38:55] an intimidation check. Um, I'm going to
[38:58] give you advantage because everyone at
[39:00] the table anyway and the
[39:05] ironclad half or is like staring down
[39:09] the three bandits.
[39:16] That's a 20.
[39:17] Nice.
[39:19] Oh, wow.
[39:21] All right. Um, as you stand up, um, you
[39:24] kind of stare them down with your
[39:27] barbarian aura. Um, they immediately
[39:30] like something they, all three of them
[39:33] narrow their eyes at you and the blade
[39:35] withdraws. Chess, you feel the pressure
[39:38] diminish from your side as the three
[39:42] bandits hold up their hands like, of
[39:44] course, wouldn't want to cause any
[39:46] trouble.
[39:48] Not right here, right?
[39:50] all friends here. So, enjoy your enjoy
[39:54] your drinks. He won't bother you
[39:57] anymore, young lady.
[40:01] You better
[40:01] um
[40:03] uh withdraw.
[40:04] As he withdraws,
[40:06] I'm going to use my telekinetic feet, my
[40:08] invisible mage hand to to pull down his
[40:11] fence.
[40:16] Give me a spell check.
[40:18] Okay.
[40:21] Oh my god.
[40:22] Oh my god. It's the best way to use a
[40:24] major hand.
[40:25] This is an invisible mage hand so he
[40:27] can't see it.
[40:29] It is a 12.
[40:33] 12. Um
[40:35] his pants just like dropped down his
[40:37] ankles like
[40:42] hold yourself. You look like
[40:45] it's small little than mine.
[40:48] I was like,
[40:49] you may next time, sir.
[40:52] You hear the
[40:53] for your job application.
[40:55] Hear the bargain. Get out of here, you
[40:57] fruity pebbles.
[41:01] Uh, three of them. What? The two of them
[41:03] drag down the panced bandit as the three
[41:06] of them cuss the six of you. um uh as
[41:11] they head out back into the town center
[41:15] uh disappearing down the alleys and out
[41:18] of your view. the the five of you at
[41:21] this point. Uh Tipsy, uh actually not
[41:25] Tipsy, actually you. Uh Zavagar,
[41:29] Zavagar, Zavagar, please roll a
[41:31] constitution saving throw against your
[41:35] um 10 plus your constitution modifier.
[41:44] Okay, I'm tripping. How do I do that
[41:46] again?
[41:48] Do you have your character? So, you roll
[41:49] a d20 and then
[41:51] Yeah, I have it open.
[41:53] You roll a d20 and you add your
[41:56] constitution um bonus. And if you're
[41:59] proficient with constitution saving
[42:00] throws, you add your proficiency bonus.
[42:08] This is just this is for everyone's
[42:10] reference. In the future, if you want to
[42:12] check if you're drunk, um so you can
[42:15] roleplay being drunk or something like
[42:16] that. It takes three fails for you to
[42:19] get drunk as you're drinking
[42:21] progressively. Um, so one, you just be
[42:24] tipsy. Uh, this is a home brew thing.
[42:27] Um, because there are
[42:29] drinking is inexact, but essentially um,
[42:33] what did you get, Zavagar?
[42:36] Got a nine.
[42:39] A nine. You are
[42:41] We're gonna take you're drunk. You've
[42:42] been here longer than everyone else.
[42:45] Oh my god.
[42:52] Don't worry, I can be drunk.
[42:55] Okay. Uh, so the six of you are in the
[42:58] tavern now.
[43:00] You guys are free to talk, drink. What
[43:02] else would you like to do?
[43:06] So, I look at Zavagar like, "Well,
[43:09] hello, sir. Uh, thank you for helping
[43:12] our friend over here." Um, maybe knowing
[43:16] who you are. I'm I'm OD. OD do
[43:24] I'm not really into small talk, little
[43:27] lady, but
[43:30] people around here call me Z.
[43:33] So, you're into big talk.
[43:40] Hello.
[43:40] The [ __ ] out.
[43:42] Hello, sir. Perhaps you're not into
[43:45] small talk, but would you like some
[43:47] sweets?
[43:51] No, thank you.
[43:53] All right. Not a sweet tooth, I guess.
[43:56] They're very nice.
[44:03] I'll take that as a compliment.
[44:05] I'm just going to approach. Uh,
[44:09] thank you for helping our our dear
[44:11] friend here. Um,
[44:14] what's your name again? I I apologize. I
[44:17] heard you heard when you were talking to
[44:19] this old right here.
[44:21] Yes, he's kind of stupid. We're sorry
[44:23] about him.
[44:26] It's okay. I've spent an extended time
[44:29] with stupid people in my lifetime.
[44:31] I know, right?
[44:35] Please, Mr. You don't even remember your
[44:37] own backtory or even name from time to
[44:40] time.
[44:42] No, I remember this. I think you're
[44:44] great.
[44:46] Sure.
[44:48] And I'm just going to go to the bar and
[44:51] Oh, here's the payment. Uh, I'm going to
[44:54] give him one gold and that's also the
[44:56] payment for the possible war that was
[44:58] going to happen.
[45:00] It's possible to keep hush about this.
[45:03] Very generous, sir. Thank you. Thank
[45:06] you.
[45:08] Oh, anytime my good friend
[45:10] Mr. Zafar, what brings you around these
[45:13] torch?
[45:16] Gold.
[45:21] Gold
[45:22] as travelers are gold.
[45:24] I think you would get along with Mr. Tas
[45:26] here.
[45:27] Yes, correct. Mr. Miss Audi here has
[45:30] plenty of gold.
[45:32] Oh, no. I think you're overblowing it,
[45:35] Mr. Tess. I gave you one.
[45:39] And then look at look at Mr. Savos. He
[45:42] has golden hair. Must be made out of
[45:44] gold.
[45:46] I appreciate that compliment, but my
[45:48] hair is not made of gold.
[45:52] No, you're lying.
[45:54] Sure. Uh Pepper uh or Zavagar, you can
[45:59] reveal information that we talked about
[46:01] any moment at any point you want.
[46:05] All right.
[46:08] Well, um it was nice meeting you, Mr.
[46:11] Mr.
[46:13] Do we recognize your uh the holy symbol?
[46:18] The what was that? that necklace thing
[46:20] that he mentioned there
[46:22] for Pepper uh for
[46:23] Zavagar.
[46:24] For Zavagar. Yeah.
[46:26] Uh Zavagar, do you worship or do you
[46:30] serve a holy order?
[46:33] Not anymore.
[46:36] Okay. So, but essentially you are
[46:38] acquainted to a holy order.
[46:46] I used to be.
[46:48] Okay.
[46:49] Yeah.
[46:50] Okay. So, we're going to say that it's
[46:53] uh more especially a paladin order. So,
[46:56] not really recognizable for common folk
[47:00] that aren't that you know that aren't
[47:02] actually
[47:03] paladin orders. Um
[47:06] could be it could be some sort of
[47:10] militia version of a deity from the
[47:13] pantheon. Uh but for now we're going to
[47:17] say you don't quite recognize the the
[47:21] orders
[47:23] version of this deity if you do know it
[47:25] from the past.
[47:30] Anything else you would like to talk
[47:32] about SA? Okay, I I will push the
[47:36] conversation further.
[47:42] Since we're already talking about me,
[47:46] what brings you here? I've never seen
[47:48] your faces around here before.
[47:54] I forgot. Apparently, these people know
[47:57] me and I just hanged out with them
[47:58] because they had gold. Um
[48:01] and this this very generous elf, this
[48:04] cleric, very magnanimous person has
[48:07] treated us to a lot of stuff, food,
[48:11] tail,
[48:14] and someday I'm going to get his hair,
[48:16] you know.
[48:17] I I'm sure you you'll do. But we're here
[48:22] actually because we kind of met each
[48:24] other from the payw wild. Really enough,
[48:26] it felt like a dream, but
[48:29] still remember it very vividly.
[48:35] Yeah, other than how we've met in the
[48:38] play wild, I'm actually here for uh for
[48:42] a commission, but um I think that's
[48:44] fallen through. So, I'm hanging out with
[48:46] these guys
[48:48] and I'm just here
[48:52] and I'm just here for the food to be
[48:54] honest. But then I saw them so it's nice
[48:57] to catch up with these people.
[49:00] Got to shake. Oh, I think he's broke
[49:02] now.
[49:05] Yeah. Um, for
[49:07] for OD, you do know that your business
[49:10] with the Moon Fond Commission that hired
[49:12] you for it,
[49:13] um, you've settled it over the past
[49:16] three days. Essentially,
[49:18] it wasn't like a direct, you weren't
[49:19] hired for that anyway. It was more like,
[49:23] uh,
[49:24] like it's posted and then I can do it
[49:26] galan. Yeah, that's why I saw that's why
[49:28] any second it's falling through naang.
[49:30] So, yeah.
[49:31] Yeah.
[49:34] Um, Zavagar,
[49:37] anything you would like to talk about?
[49:40] Anything else?
[49:46] Okay.
[49:48] So, I assume you guys are
[49:52] travelers or adventurers.
[49:59] Charlie,
[50:00] I have received word from
[50:04] other mercenaries
[50:06] that there are ruins nearby
[50:11] and travelers have gone missing and
[50:14] attempt to find
[50:17] a source of
[50:19] a mysterious song that they've been
[50:21] hearing.
[50:23] In these
[50:26] Do you know what the song is about? Or
[50:28] can you, you know, sing it for us? Maybe
[50:30] we've heard it or something.
[50:34] Oh, maybe it's better to go hear it for
[50:37] yourself.
[50:40] No.
[50:42] Where is this uh ruin that you're
[50:45] talking about?
[50:48] Is this where you intend to get your
[50:49] gold?
[50:51] I could tell you,
[50:53] but
[50:56] that means we'll have to talk business.
[51:02] No, it's like a What is this? Like a
[51:05] commission?
[51:07] They're going to pay us with gold or
[51:11] are you going to pay us with gold?
[51:15] Because honestly, we are very poor. I
[51:17] mean I mean I speak for myself not with
[51:19] this uh this um tall guy with a gold
[51:22] herring. He's very loaded but me I am
[51:25] tall. I'm not sure about the other guys
[51:28] and I would need the money. Really?
[51:32] That's so weird.
[51:37] needs a general.
[51:41] If you ask me,
[51:44] knowing that many have fallen to find
[51:47] this source,
[51:50] I'm sure that this uh these ruins
[51:53] will hold some valuable loot for
[51:56] adventurers like you.
[52:02] That sounds interesting enough for me.
[52:07] Oh, well there there is our friend.
[52:10] So, Mr. Davagar, this is our friend, Mr.
[52:12] Alrich. As you can see,
[52:14] I I'm drunk a little bit too much, but
[52:17] that's interesting to me.
[52:21] Agree with Al.
[52:23] Is this Alcher?
[52:26] Um, not really. We kind of don't have a
[52:29] leader.
[52:31] Yeah, I can tell.
[52:34] Um, at this point, can everyone me a
[52:36] history check?
[52:38] Oh, I'm great at those.
[52:40] Apart from apart from Zavagar because
[52:43] you already know this.
[52:45] Wait, would I still roll since?
[52:50] Oh, I got the negative one.
[52:55] You rolled the negative one.
[52:57] No, I rolled a two, but it's negative -3
[53:00] for history.
[53:05] I got a 12.
[53:06] I got a six.
[53:08] Oh, that we have a 21.
[53:10] Great.
[53:11] Okay. Uh, Tess.
[53:15] Oh, sorry. It was
[53:17] I got a 19.
[53:18] 19 and Sheamus.
[53:19] Oh, there we go. Okay. Um, for OD
[53:25] OD and 21. So Sheamus and Tessk uh you
[53:29] are familiar um potentially with the
[53:31] area that Zavagar is referring to. Uh
[53:36] there have been rumors that's been
[53:38] circulating this area ever since you
[53:41] came to Capulet, you know, rumors that
[53:44] have reached night camps and have
[53:47] potentially reached Paladin orders about
[53:49] a certain ruins nearby in Feyener Forest
[53:54] where um people have deemed that area as
[53:58] the singing stones ruins because of a
[54:02] mysterious
[54:04] um eerie ballad that people have been
[54:06] hearing
[54:07] um where whenever they got close
[54:11] um and those brave enough to actually
[54:15] venture deeper into the ruins I've never
[54:18] been seen again. Um, I've, as far as you
[54:23] know, fallen or succumbed into whatever
[54:26] hungry mouth that devours travelers far
[54:29] and wide, who dares to venture and
[54:31] follow the song deeper into the singing
[54:34] stones. So, that's at least the rumor
[54:37] that you are all familiar with. No one
[54:39] really knows. There have been
[54:41] speculations as to what is inside of the
[54:46] ruins, what's waiting there.
[54:49] um all sorts of speculations.
[54:52] Um yeah, no confirmations as there
[54:56] aren't really living witnesses
[54:59] uh to bring back news of what they've
[55:01] found there. Or at least if there were,
[55:05] you've never heard of them. But from
[55:08] what Zavagar has told you, you can infer
[55:10] that
[55:12] well um
[55:14] when it comes to missing adventures and
[55:17] the like and rumors that have spread to
[55:20] night camps uh for this long, there's
[55:23] bound to be things in the gear and the
[55:26] stuff left by adventurers who
[55:29] disappeared there if their remains,
[55:32] you know, remained.
[55:37] I think I'm familiar with the ruins that
[55:40] Mr. Savar is talking about. It's I mean
[55:43] we could take our chances to look at it,
[55:46] but we need to prepare ourselves if we
[55:48] plan to go into this area.
[55:55] Why? What have you heard of it?
[55:58] What about it that you've you've heard
[56:01] from my time traveling? I've heard
[56:05] people say that there's maybe something
[56:08] or someone there. That's why they call
[56:11] it like the song of
[56:14] Roman of Songs or something. And then
[56:16] someone
[56:18] no I'm not sure what what it or who it
[56:22] is but the thing is anyone well as we
[56:26] say anyone who tried to enter this ruins
[56:30] because of the rumor of the treasures
[56:33] that it holds
[56:35] well so far no one has ever even
[56:38] reported to come back from
[56:44] That's kind of
[56:46] would love to go.
[56:48] I would also love it if you guys
[56:51] I know you would say that.
[56:53] There goes Mr. Tess again.
[56:55] That sounds good to me.
[56:58] Yes.
[57:00] How about you?
[57:00] Let's go.
[57:02] Miss, are you willing to go to the
[57:06] ruins?
[57:07] Sure,
[57:09] why not?
[57:12] Is Mr. Zavagar here leading us
[57:15] or?
[57:16] Yeah. Are they climbing?
[57:18] Wait a minute.
[57:21] This isn't some commission. I'm not
[57:24] going to pay you to come with me. I'm
[57:26] just going anyway.
[57:28] Oh, I I think you're just a bit scared.
[57:33] you want or
[57:37] she called you a host. She called you a
[57:39] host.
[57:40] I don't know because
[57:43] why are you suddenly mentioning but but
[57:45] I mean no offense. I would like to come
[57:48] if you were you are really you know
[57:51] wanted to go wanting to go to this
[57:53] place. It sounds very interesting.
[57:56] Thanks for sharing about the singing
[57:58] ruins
[58:00] singing stones.
[58:03] Well, seeing as you were new faces
[58:07] around here, I just assumed that that's
[58:10] where you were going. I assume that you
[58:13] also heard of these rumors. That's why I
[58:16] asked cuz I didn't want to share my loot
[58:19] with anybody else. But
[58:22] maybe you could prove useful
[58:25] during
[58:27] this endeavor.
[58:29] I mean, we can talk about sharing the
[58:31] loot for when we do get the loot, but
[58:34] for now, I think we should focus on
[58:36] preparing for what's to come.
[58:40] How would we exactly prepare, Mr.
[58:42] Sheamus?
[58:44] I mean, if I'm not mistaken, there was a
[58:47] nearby. I mean, we could stock up on
[58:49] some potions. I mean, of course, I can
[58:52] heal you guys, but if somehow I've been,
[58:57] how do I say this? I don't know, lured
[59:00] into these and I would perish.
[59:03] Y'all might well perish as well as
[59:08] I'm one of the healers that can sustain
[59:10] you guys.
[59:11] I don't know about you, Mr. Shamas, but
[59:13] I am flat out bar.
[59:17] Even if we try to go
[59:19] to carry,
[59:20] I wouldn't have any money to spend
[59:22] unless
[59:23] to do much.
[59:24] Unless you pay for our stuff, Mr.
[59:27] Shaver, since you are so generously
[59:32] suggesting that we buy some supplies for
[59:35] I'm so drunk.
[59:37] I don't think their supplies are that
[59:39] expensive anyways. I mean, we could go
[59:41] check.
[59:43] Sure, Mr.
[59:47] Maybe there's something maybe a shop
[59:49] here in the town that we can go to. I
[59:52] mean, if it's like songs or something.
[59:55] Do you think the the songs itself is
[59:57] dangerous?
[59:59] It's not that it might be the songs.
[01:00:02] So maybe we we should fashion ourselves
[01:00:05] something to cover our ears or something
[01:00:07] like that. I don't know
[01:00:10] as a precaution.
[01:00:15] Is there a shop nearby? Have you tried
[01:00:18] going around?
[01:00:18] There are. Yes,
[01:00:21] we can come. We can go out in a bit.
[01:00:23] Miss Poppy, I'm also interested in
[01:00:25] looking for
[01:00:26] I think
[01:00:27] And maybe we can even ask other people
[01:00:29] if they know about it. No.
[01:00:32] And at the same time, I think we should
[01:00:34] well let our friend here settle with his
[01:00:38] drunkenness.
[01:00:41] How are we supposed to do that?
[01:00:43] You think drunk just passes away in like
[01:00:47] 30 minutes?
[01:00:49] Well, well,
[01:00:52] OD like as they talk about how to deal
[01:00:55] with it, I just pick Mr. Alrich up and
[01:00:58] put him like over my shoulder.
[01:01:00] Well, we can start moving now.
[01:01:03] All right. As you guys leave uh this
[01:01:07] part, this corner of the tavern, leave
[01:01:09] um whispering rumors and stories about
[01:01:12] the singing stones, ruins by the fire,
[01:01:16] um the hearse, the Merl Inn. Um the the
[01:01:21] six of you now head on back out to the
[01:01:25] town center to to see the wider town
[01:01:29] before you
[01:01:31] leaving the stories by the fire and what
[01:01:36] waits ahead down the road. So um where
[01:01:40] would you like to go? There are
[01:01:42] definitely shops back in the town
[01:01:43] center. So right now also you know that
[01:01:47] this you're in Capulet this is the town
[01:01:50] where you'll be um staying for
[01:01:54] well for the duration of your however
[01:01:58] long you may wish to stay here. So you
[01:02:01] might be here a while but for now yes
[01:02:04] you can access know that there's a
[01:02:07] general store a general smiths there and
[01:02:10] an apothecary. So yeah, where would you
[01:02:13] like to go? What would you like to do?
[01:02:17] I see a general store there. Maybe we
[01:02:19] can check that out first.
[01:02:21] I follow the gold source.
[01:02:24] Okay, you want to go to the general
[01:02:25] store?
[01:02:26] You guys can go on ahead of the general
[01:02:28] store. I might visit the smithy for a
[01:02:30] while just to get my
[01:02:33] weapons. No.
[01:02:36] Um how we get
[01:02:38] while carrying our
[01:02:41] Yes.
[01:02:44] Mr.
[01:02:46] Aric and OD are going to the Smiths. Uh
[01:02:49] Aubrey and Tess general store. Zavagar
[01:02:53] and Sheamus.
[01:02:55] Oh drinking
[01:02:57] general store.
[01:03:01] Zavagar, you're still in the tavern.
[01:03:04] Hell yeah. I've been ready.
[01:03:08] He's just waiting for us to be ready.
[01:03:11] Okay. Zavagar uh stayed behind the
[01:03:13] tavern. He's not finished with his
[01:03:15] drink.
[01:03:16] How about uh shame?
[01:03:20] I'll go to the general store.
[01:03:22] Or nobody nobody will go to the or maybe
[01:03:26] we'll meet there.
[01:03:26] We can go after.
[01:03:27] Can I
[01:03:28] Can I drag Zavagar
[01:03:32] so he can come along with us? Would
[01:03:35] you like to be drugged?
[01:03:40] I mean,
[01:03:41] you like to be dragged.
[01:03:43] Persuasion chat.
[01:03:46] Please come.
[01:03:48] Or
[01:03:49] I need I need protection.
[01:03:51] You want to come with Zamagar?
[01:03:54] All right. I chug down my drink
[01:03:58] and then I walk with Tessk.
[01:04:00] All right. So, Zavatar, you go with
[01:04:02] Tessic and Aubrey
[01:04:04] and Sheamus at the general store. We're
[01:04:06] going to do that before we head to OD
[01:04:10] and a passed out Alrich being carried
[01:04:13] potato sack fireman style behind her
[01:04:17] to the general store. Okay, so you walk
[01:04:22] inside the general store.
[01:04:23] Jesus Christ. uh supplies. Uh
[01:04:28] the card there is behind the counter and
[01:04:29] says supplies and rations, traveling
[01:04:32] gear, tools and kits and spell
[01:04:34] components available here. Welcome. What
[01:04:37] can I get you? Uh we also sell certain
[01:04:41] very limited supply of spell scrolls
[01:04:44] around, you know, 50 to 250 gold. Um, we
[01:04:50] would have more shipments uh when our
[01:04:53] scribes get back to us, but please feel
[01:04:57] free to peruse.
[01:05:01] I'd like to see some of the traveling
[01:05:04] gear.
[01:05:06] Is it as expensive as the spell scrolls?
[01:05:09] Because I don't think I can buy anything
[01:05:11] in here if it's 50 to 250.
[01:05:15] Definitely not. the traveling gear, the
[01:05:16] spell scrolls are well magical items. Uh
[01:05:19] they do tend to require a lot of gold to
[01:05:24] uh to craft, but traveling here, those
[01:05:27] are common items.
[01:05:29] Definitely not. Uh what would you what
[01:05:32] are you looking for?
[01:05:35] Maybe something to cover our ears. Is do
[01:05:38] you or something that we could fashion
[01:05:40] to do that?
[01:05:44] Um
[01:05:46] Romeo D20.
[01:05:52] Yeah, it's a 11.
[01:05:57] An 11. Um, there's not really yet a
[01:06:01] super polished concept of
[01:06:05] uh muffs or earplugs um created. So,
[01:06:11] anything you buy would have to be
[01:06:13] makeshift essentially. Um,
[01:06:16] the clerk does say like, uh, not
[01:06:20] necessarily. I can offer you clay or
[01:06:26] um cotton to put in your ears, but I
[01:06:32] don't have anything that constitutes,
[01:06:34] you know, the actual function of
[01:06:38] muffling sound in your ears.
[01:06:42] Which one do you think is more
[01:06:44] effective, sir?
[01:06:46] The cotton or the clay?
[01:06:50] I've never really tried them myself,
[01:06:53] but
[01:06:55] uh perhaps
[01:06:58] perhaps the clay because I mean it's
[01:07:01] denser than consonant.
[01:07:03] Can we test it out?
[01:07:07] Um,
[01:07:09] sure. I'll give you a little
[01:07:11] um gives you a little clay. He he kind
[01:07:14] of rips a piece from a bigger uh block
[01:07:19] of it. Uh it's soft enough, compliant
[01:07:21] enough you can roll it in your
[01:07:23] fingertips. This here we go. Uh
[01:07:27] I'm going to go to the to the end of the
[01:07:29] room and say
[01:07:31] hello. Can you hear me?
[01:07:35] I don't think that's how it works.
[01:07:39] Then I instru Mr. Mr. Avagar, can you go
[01:07:42] to the other end of the room and shout
[01:07:44] as loud as you can?
[01:07:45] Oh,
[01:07:47] are you sure about that?
[01:07:49] You're not Mr.
[01:07:53] I'm just going to cover my
[01:07:55] Fair enough. Are you ready?
[01:07:58] Yes.
[01:08:00] Okay. Don't actually. Okay. Don't
[01:08:07] I knew he was going to use a soundboard
[01:08:10] for that. I knew it was out.
[01:08:13] Puppy, did you hear that?
[01:08:16] No. What was it?
[01:08:19] Oh, perfect. I think we would take the
[01:08:22] play.
[01:08:24] I love how you decided how good it works
[01:08:26] instead of letting Jeff do it.
[01:08:35] reasonably it would work as far as you
[01:08:38] know to not completely deafen uh you uh
[01:08:43] again the the actual function of
[01:08:46] earplugs doesn't consistently exist but
[01:08:50] in a way yes it does do the work as far
[01:08:54] as you can tell effectively enough
[01:08:56] because you don't hear like the full
[01:08:59] brunt of Zavgar's
[01:09:02] uh yell, but you can't kind of hear it a
[01:09:07] bit muffled.
[01:09:11] I mean, I guess this will work for now.
[01:09:15] Better than nothing, I'd say.
[01:09:17] Yeah. Do you have enough for I guess six
[01:09:21] people?
[01:09:22] Okay. Uh yeah, definitely. Um, we're
[01:09:26] going to say that you can just you just
[01:09:29] need a little bit anyway. That's just
[01:09:31] two copper in total. That's fine. Um, he
[01:09:34] just gives you uh strange request. Uh,
[01:09:37] but here definitely uh he gets tacks of
[01:09:41] clay. Um, little almost like not really
[01:09:46] dice sized like uh thimble sized packs
[01:09:50] of clay. And then he wraps it in
[01:09:54] parchment and then gives it to you in
[01:09:56] six packs.
[01:09:59] Anything else I can get for you? Um, we
[01:10:02] have rations.
[01:10:04] Uh, if you're out of, you know, uh, your
[01:10:06] traveling rations, wouldn't want to be
[01:10:09] caught with an uh, with a empty stomach
[01:10:12] out in the road.
[01:10:16] Well, how much are your rations?
[01:10:20] of our rations for well it would last
[01:10:23] you for a day at least you won't go
[01:10:26] hungry um is about one silver
[01:10:30] one silver for one let's say one day
[01:10:34] yes um they're bare minimum not
[01:10:38] nutritious enough to keep you up and
[01:10:40] keep you from getting hungry but I
[01:10:41] wouldn't recommend you know eating only
[01:10:44] rations for extended periods of time
[01:10:47] they're supposed to be the bare minimum
[01:10:49] your body can survive and feed off of
[01:10:52] off of. Um, so I wouldn't go sustaining
[01:10:58] myself with only rations for longer than
[01:11:00] 5 days. But yes, it is possible. But
[01:11:04] eventually your body starts, you know,
[01:11:06] looking for real and substantial
[01:11:10] sustenance. But yes, one rations will
[01:11:13] last you a day so you don't die of
[01:11:16] starvation.
[01:11:18] Okay, then I'll take six.
[01:11:22] Very generous of you.
[01:11:26] Uh, sir, can I ask a question?
[01:11:31] Of course, young lady. What What can I
[01:11:33] get you?
[01:11:35] Actually, we are uh finding some items
[01:11:38] to to take with us for a some sort of
[01:11:41] adventuring. Uh we're trying to uncover
[01:11:44] what uh the the ruins the singing ruins
[01:11:48] are all about. I think it's something
[01:11:50] that you might have heard from you know
[01:11:53] fellow adventurers would like to know if
[01:11:55] you have some maybe useful information
[01:11:58] about the things we should bring or
[01:12:00] other information that you could give
[01:12:02] us.
[01:12:05] Um I don't well I have heard of the
[01:12:08] singing stones ruins. I'm a bit familiar
[01:12:11] with it because several travelers like
[01:12:14] you, maybe not like you, but like you,
[01:12:20] your party here, have come here asking
[01:12:23] for supplies and it all varies, but
[01:12:25] you're actually one of the first that uh
[01:12:28] have attempted to, I don't know, use
[01:12:30] clay to, you know, defen themselves.
[01:12:33] probably wise it is called the seen
[01:12:35] son's ruins which had cultivated the
[01:12:38] reputation of disappearing travelers who
[01:12:42] listen to well the singing somewhere in
[01:12:45] the deep so I can offer you more or less
[01:12:49] the same gear that everyone else has
[01:12:52] been asking for that is well rope um and
[01:12:58] um bed rolls and um
[01:13:01] I suppose there were a few um
[01:13:06] weapon
[01:13:07] uh
[01:13:09] weapon items here and there like arrows
[01:13:11] and stuff, but you can also visit the
[01:13:13] smiths um if you want proper um gear for
[01:13:17] that. Um there's also
[01:13:20] tents
[01:13:22] and well nets. I don't know if you can
[01:13:25] make use of that, but um there was one
[01:13:28] gentleman that asked for no a trap net
[01:13:32] to potentially capture either fish or a
[01:13:36] beast. I wouldn't know. Not a traveler,
[01:13:39] but definitely anything um simple and
[01:13:43] common you request. I can see I can
[01:13:47] check in the back.
[01:13:53] That's very very nice of you to share
[01:13:56] those information.
[01:14:00] Do you think we need anything else,
[01:14:02] friends?
[01:14:07] Should we get the trap or uh we good?
[01:14:10] Maybe we could uh check the other stores
[01:14:13] if there's nothing else
[01:14:15] other than what I bought. I think that
[01:14:18] would be fine.
[01:14:19] Do you have metal tongs, forks, but
[01:14:22] missing the middle one?
[01:14:26] uh something like tuning forks. Uh I
[01:14:30] suppose yes,
[01:14:32] we have different kinds of prongs with
[01:14:36] varying uh
[01:14:39] I don't know what I forgot the word you
[01:14:41] call it, but yes.
[01:14:44] See, can you buy one for me? It could be
[01:14:47] the cheapest one.
[01:14:50] How much is one of them?
[01:14:56] Um the like the fork um
[01:15:00] it would be metal. So I would say about
[01:15:08] nine copper.
[01:15:13] Okay, that's fair.
[01:15:17] Oh. Oh, Kirk. Uh, while you're getting
[01:15:20] it, can I also ask if you have some
[01:15:22] potion? I know there's some other places
[01:15:25] in town, but just in case, just want to
[01:15:27] know if you have, you know, cheaper
[01:15:29] potions.
[01:15:31] Uh, potions, distributions, and selling
[01:15:34] long to the apothec uh the apothecary
[01:15:37] across the street. Uh, we don't deal in
[01:15:40] elixir and substances that are that can
[01:15:43] be volatile to travelers.
[01:15:46] Uh, we do have jams and juices and other
[01:15:50] food items here, but generally potions,
[01:15:54] especially the magic kind. You want to
[01:15:57] visit the apothecary down the street.
[01:15:59] I see. So, what is the me? This is not
[01:16:03] related to our quest, but what is the
[01:16:05] specialty of this town in terms of food?
[01:16:12] Terms of food, Capulet is I would say
[01:16:15] famous since I've been having it ever
[01:16:17] since I was a kid. Um, famous for uh the
[01:16:21] Galilean festival. I mean, our sweet
[01:16:24] roast bore is sought after by many a
[01:16:29] traveler. Uh, whenever the festival
[01:16:32] comes around, festival is actually about
[01:16:35] to happen um in a week or so. Um, so if
[01:16:40] you stick around then you'll be in luck.
[01:16:44] There will be always a roast and you
[01:16:48] know a community pot enjoy. So yeah,
[01:16:52] we're simple folk but we we tend to each
[01:16:55] other.
[01:16:57] Great. Okay. Maybe I will I will visit
[01:17:01] the town or stay here for about a week.
[01:17:03] Let's see.
[01:17:05] Okay. Anything else from the four you
[01:17:08] want to buy?
[01:17:10] That will be all.
[01:17:12] All right.
[01:17:13] I think it's happy with the four.
[01:17:15] I'm just going to complain that
[01:17:17] I've been dragged out of the tavern to
[01:17:20] buy clay and a broken fork.
[01:17:26] You're You're going to enjoy this,
[01:17:27] Avagar. Trust me. Trust me.
[01:17:30] Okay. Um, we shall go back to the town
[01:17:34] center. Um, or you can continue amongst
[01:17:38] yourselves, but we are going to uh OD
[01:17:41] and Rick. All Rick passed out on OD's
[01:17:44] shoulders. Uh, OD, you walk inside and
[01:17:46] you meet immediately the scent of
[01:17:49] cinder, smoke, ash, and metal just like
[01:17:52] slaps you across the face. It feels like
[01:17:55] home.
[01:17:56] Um, you you see or you hear before you
[01:18:00] see it the
[01:18:02] t repeated striking of metal by a hammer
[01:18:07] of a blacksmith down in the corner. Um,
[01:18:10] he looks up at you. Um,
[01:18:14] the fire of the
[01:18:17] of the pit lighting the room. Yes. What
[01:18:21] can I get you?
[01:18:24] We have weapons to sell. simple weapons,
[01:18:27] marshall weapons,
[01:18:29] all handiwork of my grandfather and
[01:18:31] mine.
[01:18:34] Well, actually, sir, um I'm actually
[01:18:37] here for a few weapons, but mostly for
[01:18:40] So, I reach behind my back for my mold
[01:18:43] and set it next to him. Are you familiar
[01:18:46] with this kind of make
[01:18:48] of m?
[01:18:50] Uh
[01:18:52] it's it seems like a standard
[01:18:56] albeit it's
[01:18:58] not crafted uh I would say by
[01:19:02] a custom work or specific work. It looks
[01:19:06] like a generic mall to me. Anything that
[01:19:09] catches your eye.
[01:19:11] Well,
[01:19:13] I feel a radiating power from it.
[01:19:16] Actually, I found this from a sorcerer's
[01:19:20] uh
[01:19:22] uh study once, and
[01:19:25] I was wondering perhaps
[01:19:28] you knew anything about these markings
[01:19:30] along the head of the mall.
[01:19:37] Just to remind me, these are
[01:19:43] Is this related to
[01:19:45] The spider.
[01:19:46] It's
[01:19:49] the spider lilies or no
[01:19:52] spider liies.
[01:19:53] Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
[01:19:54] That's not a lore drop. That's just a
[01:19:56] flower.
[01:19:57] Okay.
[01:19:58] For all of you suspicious people. It's
[01:20:01] that
[01:20:03] Yeah. Yeah.
[01:20:04] Oh, okay. Um he says
[01:20:08] uh certain smiths sometimes like to put
[01:20:12] ornamentations and embossments and you
[01:20:15] know carvings of their
[01:20:17] uh of their
[01:20:20] identities and proclivities into their
[01:20:23] work. So perhaps the smith that created
[01:20:26] this uh marked it with their own with
[01:20:30] their own person's insignia but nothing
[01:20:34] out of the ordinary. You said you found
[01:20:35] this in a sorcerer study. Um,
[01:20:38] yes.
[01:20:39] Doesn't seem to be magical to me.
[01:20:44] All right. Well,
[01:20:46] seems like uh there's nothing much about
[01:20:49] this one. Uh,
[01:20:52] sorry. Wait, I'm going to look through
[01:20:54] the list of like simple weapons. Hold
[01:20:56] on.
[01:20:57] Go ahead. I just want
[01:21:04] So, like while I'm perusing,
[01:21:07] it's kind of hot in here.
[01:21:11] You have a lot done.
[01:21:13] I'm just on your shoulder while you're
[01:21:14] having
[01:21:15] He's He's still here. He's still here
[01:21:16] while I'm looking around.
[01:21:19] Ask him to help uh to help you choose.
[01:21:24] I'm I'm passed out. What do you mean?
[01:21:27] Oh, you're passed out.
[01:21:27] He's passed out.
[01:21:28] What the hell?
[01:21:29] Okay. Question. Does the does the smith
[01:21:32] not like acknowledge the person on my
[01:21:35] shoulder like
[01:21:37] uh he does he kind of like looks at the
[01:21:40] person um but he can smell the alcohol
[01:21:43] on on breath so he's like
[01:21:48] I'm not
[01:21:53] so what would you like to buy if
[01:21:55] anything?
[01:21:59] So, um I would be interested in buying a
[01:22:02] handax if you have any.
[01:22:06] Yes, we do have handaxes.
[01:22:09] Um made them yesterday. That would be
[01:22:11] five gold each.
[01:22:13] Jesus Christ.
[01:22:15] God damn.
[01:22:20] Shout out to Shig.
[01:22:32] I can give you the rest of my gold, Biz,
[01:22:35] if you really need it.
[01:22:37] Oh, he's awake.
[01:22:38] Oh, I was just trying, Mr. Alrich. Like,
[01:22:41] I just want to like I look back. Mr.
[01:22:43] Alrich, don't worry. I'm just trying to
[01:22:45] replace the axe I lost.
[01:22:49] Uh,
[01:22:50] if it'll if it if it'll help you out,
[01:22:52] I'm happy to give you three gold if it's
[01:22:54] if it's necessary.
[01:22:56] Oh, that's very generous. All right,
[01:22:59] sir. I'll take it. I'll take it.
[01:23:02] Um, he
[01:23:04] brings it up down from the wall and he
[01:23:06] says, "Here you go. A handax. Um, brand
[01:23:09] new. Don't fumble with it and it's not
[01:23:12] likely to break.
[01:23:16] Thank you, sir.
[01:23:17] I for
[01:23:22] recommend throwing this one. Um, they do
[01:23:25] tend to go very far and get lost.
[01:23:33] All right.
[01:23:35] Anything for me?
[01:23:47] Uh, wait. Sorry.
[01:23:50] Go ahead. Um, I assume Sheamus, Zavagar,
[01:23:54] Tessic, and Poppy do walk out by now uh
[01:23:57] out of the general store. You can head
[01:24:00] to the Apothecary if you would like.
[01:24:03] Yes, I'm going to head to the
[01:24:04] apothecary.
[01:24:06] Okay. Um,
[01:24:09] sure. While OD is choosing
[01:24:13] to move to the apotheicy,
[01:24:16] um you head inside and you are
[01:24:18] immediately assaulted by the stench
[01:24:21] fragrance of flowers, flora, elixir
[01:24:25] uh alike.
[01:24:27] Uh, it bleeds through the atmosphere
[01:24:30] almost fizzing with uh with magic,
[01:24:34] bottled snares of
[01:24:38] uh of various
[01:24:42] uh aromomas that capture your your
[01:24:46] hearts in your senses.
[01:24:49] Uh, the guy looks up and he says, "Hi.
[01:24:53] Uh, anything I can interest you in
[01:24:56] buying?"
[01:25:02] That's quite a lovely potion that you
[01:25:04] have here.
[01:25:06] Oh, here. I fancy you mentioned that.
[01:25:09] Um, just be careful though. Uh if you
[01:25:12] drink this one particularly,
[01:25:14] you might fall infatuated by the first
[01:25:18] creature you see.
[01:25:21] Love potions are very love potions are
[01:25:25] very popular in this here parts, but I
[01:25:28] wouldn't say they're quite ethical.
[01:25:31] I would say as well. Uh but thank you
[01:25:34] for the offer. I would have to pass on
[01:25:36] that. Do I would like to ask has any
[01:25:40] other
[01:25:41] come here and ask about well I don't
[01:25:44] know help as they go through the singing
[01:25:49] the singing rocks
[01:25:51] stone ruins ruins singing stone ruins
[01:25:55] oh yeah I have I've heard the rumors yes
[01:25:58] um well um
[01:26:01] I don't really distinguish between my
[01:26:04] customers so I could be any number of
[01:26:07] them that have gone by the past few days
[01:26:10] that have, you know, bought your regular
[01:26:13] run-of-the-mill healing potions. I do
[01:26:15] sell the regular and the greater uh
[01:26:18] variants. Any more advanced or
[01:26:23] potent than those, you're going to have
[01:26:25] to find them in bigger cities with, you
[01:26:28] know, all those all the more resources.
[01:26:32] here. I can only manage
[01:26:34] um
[01:26:36] the the medium potencies with the
[01:26:38] healing potions, but I bet they will
[01:26:40] still save your lives nonetheless.
[01:26:44] Uh all the same. Uh I also can offer you
[01:26:47] uncommon potions
[01:26:50] um if so inclined.
[01:26:52] Uh I do have a lot in my archive of
[01:26:55] varying varying elixir. So, if you would
[01:26:59] just name me particularly what you're
[01:27:02] looking for. Uh, I can go check if I
[01:27:05] have it.
[01:27:08] How about you? Ah.
[01:27:09] Oh, sorry.
[01:27:12] Okay. Uh, just want to see your
[01:27:14] selection of uncommon potions if that's
[01:27:17] okay.
[01:27:19] Uh, sure. Uh, he holds up the finger,
[01:27:21] sets down the vial he's working on. Uh,
[01:27:23] be right with you. He walks over to the
[01:27:26] back and he kind of pulls out different
[01:27:30] boxes and tinctures and glass vials and
[01:27:34] pulls the ribbons from the shelves and
[01:27:36] reads it. And for uncommon potions, uh,
[01:27:40] we have, well, the one I've been working
[01:27:43] on is the filter of love. Um, we have
[01:27:47] potions of animal friendship. Uh you
[01:27:51] have potions that allow you to breathe
[01:27:53] fire. This one imposed a ribbon. This
[01:27:56] one bolsters your strength uh to give to
[01:28:00] make to make you fight on par with hill
[01:28:03] giants. Uh or so I've heard. I haven't
[01:28:07] tested them myself. One my brother made.
[01:28:10] Um we also have one that makes uh well
[01:28:14] turns you into a giant. Um, one that
[01:28:17] poisons, um, if you, you know, if you so
[01:28:21] much as touch it, be careful with that
[01:28:22] one. It can burn your skin. Um, another
[01:28:27] one that can make you resistant to a
[01:28:29] mental effects like fire and and ice and
[01:28:33] even lightning. My my sister drank that
[01:28:37] once under a thunderstorm when she was
[01:28:39] collecting Well, she was collecting
[01:28:41] bottled lightning with a lightning lure
[01:28:43] strapped to her back. very effective.
[01:28:47] And another one that can make you
[01:28:49] amphibious, not completely, but enough
[01:28:52] to allow you to breathe as normally as
[01:28:55] you would underwater.
[01:29:04] Whoa. Um, do you have happen to have a
[01:29:08] calm emotions type of?
[01:29:13] Um, not really. The only charms that I
[01:29:16] can
[01:29:17] um I can trap essences for is
[01:29:23] something like the filter of love or a
[01:29:26] charming a generic charming potion, but
[01:29:28] that would take a while to brew and to,
[01:29:31] you know, alchemically figure out.
[01:29:36] Would you like to figure it out
[01:29:37] together?
[01:29:40] Um,
[01:29:42] I appreciate the offer, but Of course,
[01:29:46] secrets of the trade, if you know what I
[01:29:48] mean.
[01:29:50] While they're doing that, um, OD goes
[01:29:52] out now because she can't really find
[01:29:54] anything. Kaya,
[01:29:58] you wander or you see the others just in
[01:30:01] time wandering to the potion shop. You
[01:30:03] You can bring Alri inside as well.
[01:30:06] I go to the potion shop. Oh, I see them
[01:30:08] there. Let's go to them, Mr. Alic.
[01:30:11] Welcome. Welcome. Please.
[01:30:13] buy what you like.
[01:30:14] Oh, you mean?
[01:30:19] Well, for me, I don't think
[01:30:22] I don't think I at least am not going to
[01:30:25] get anything for now. How about you
[01:30:27] guys?
[01:30:30] Well, is there anything we can afford,
[01:30:33] sir? Like a a few gold maybe?
[01:30:37] Or perhaps? Are you still trying to test
[01:30:39] out your filter of love? Maybe we could
[01:30:42] get a small amount of that and, you
[01:30:45] know, test it out for you.
[01:30:48] Um,
[01:30:50] uh, elixirs and potions actually work
[01:30:54] with controlled doses and, um, measured
[01:30:59] uh,
[01:31:01] measured formulas. So, there isn't
[01:31:03] really taking in part um, to test
[01:31:06] effects. It comes wholesale, if you know
[01:31:09] what I mean. Um, it's the same with
[01:31:12] healing potions. Um, you can't just
[01:31:14] drink a little of it and preserve the
[01:31:17] rest. You would have to drink all of it
[01:31:19] or at least a certain prescribed uh
[01:31:23] dosage in order for the magic to take
[01:31:26] effect.
[01:31:28] I understand. You have quite a good
[01:31:30] selection, sir. Unfortunately, we don't
[01:31:33] have the gold for it for now.
[01:31:37] That's what they all say. But I trust as
[01:31:39] adventurers, you you will eventually
[01:31:42] come to, you know, large large sums of
[01:31:45] gold. All the stories say that all the
[01:31:48] gold's just waiting beyond the woods.
[01:31:51] That might be true. Anyway, uh it's very
[01:31:54] nice to to meet you, sir. Maybe I will
[01:31:57] give you some of my uh sweet goods here.
[01:32:02] Just uh just, you know, to be like a
[01:32:05] nice to meet you kind of gesture. And I
[01:32:08] give him one of the cinnamon buns that I
[01:32:13] That's so cute.
[01:32:16] I appreciate it.
[01:32:18] Yeah. See you around, sir. I don't think
[01:32:20] we'll be going far from the town anyway.
[01:32:23] Maybe we'll see each other again
[01:32:25] somebody some other time when we have
[01:32:27] the money.
[01:32:29] Of course. Of course. I'll be right
[01:32:31] here. Um had a busy farewell. Um all
[01:32:35] right. Go back to the town center. Where
[01:32:37] would you like to go?
[01:32:41] But that's how you spell the forest
[01:32:43] name.
[01:32:45] Yeah,
[01:32:45] that was fer.
[01:32:47] The fainer forest.
[01:32:49] Oh,
[01:32:51] wait. Question. Do I see like uh Zavagar
[01:32:55] carrying a weapon or anything?
[01:32:58] Zamagar, you would have uh a weapon by
[01:33:02] default from your I mean, you're a level
[01:33:04] four paladin. So yeah, he openly
[01:33:10] Jeff, can I can I pop my head again at
[01:33:12] the potion store and maybe just sheepish
[01:33:15] sheepishly ask if like uh sir before we
[01:33:18] leave uh is there something you'd like,
[01:33:20] you know, like uh for us to collect
[01:33:22] maybe herbs or something in the forest.
[01:33:25] Maybe we could help you out or
[01:33:26] something, you know? So maybe you could
[01:33:31] Yes,
[01:33:32] supplies are well off right now. I don't
[01:33:35] really need anything else, but um I'm I
[01:33:38] appreciate the offer. Perhaps I can get
[01:33:41] back to you when you get back from your
[01:33:43] travels. I might have something for you.
[01:33:46] All right, have a nice day.
[01:33:52] So, um so Mr. Zavador. Uh, do you have
[01:33:56] any, uh, perhaps you would like to go to
[01:33:59] the smithy, you know, have your weapon
[01:34:02] checked or maybe you want to buy
[01:34:08] if you want to buy weapons?
[01:34:10] Generally, the the smiths is just for
[01:34:13] repairing repair work and buying more
[01:34:16] weapons, arrows, and stuff like that. Do
[01:34:20] you need anything?
[01:34:23] All right. Well, I can
[01:34:26] drop by the smiths and then have them
[01:34:29] assess my weapon
[01:34:31] cuz I haven't stopped by since my last
[01:34:34] adventure.
[01:34:35] What is your weapon?
[01:34:37] I have a morning star.
[01:34:41] Uh, you had the morning star to the
[01:34:43] Smith and says, "Uh, what's wrong with
[01:34:46] it? I seems to be perfectly fine.
[01:34:51] Uh, what would you like? What service
[01:34:53] would you like me to do?
[01:34:56] Uh, well,
[01:34:59] now that I know that there's no repairs
[01:35:02] needed, I think I'll be
[01:35:05] [ __ ] you then.
[01:35:11] I just wanted to show you my morning
[01:35:13] star, you know.
[01:35:18] My morning star, sir.
[01:35:21] Thanks. I know.
[01:35:25] Can I ask something? Um, do I need more
[01:35:28] arrows or just as you said last session,
[01:35:31] I I don't need to stock on arrows.
[01:35:36] Uh, do you remember from the moment Tess
[01:35:39] did something with your bow? Every time
[01:35:42] you you're about to shoot um a target,
[01:35:48] uh the bow immediately fills your
[01:35:50] fingertip with the
[01:35:53] Okay, that's cool. Thanks.
[01:35:57] Before we go,
[01:35:58] I'm just going to hand everyone this
[01:36:00] clay that possibly could help us block
[01:36:03] out whatever singing is out there and
[01:36:06] one ration just in case for us in the
[01:36:08] future.
[01:36:08] I eat the clay.
[01:36:12] Oh,
[01:36:14] I'm serving now.
[01:36:16] I'm drunk. I thought you were giving me
[01:36:19] food.
[01:36:21] I thought you were g something to eat.
[01:36:23] I'm drunk as [ __ ] I eat.
[01:36:25] He's going to die. Let him choke.
[01:36:27] I'm just going to back.
[01:36:32] What's wrong?
[01:36:33] I thought you were giving me food.
[01:36:40] All right. Um, anything else you guys
[01:36:43] would like to do unless you're set to
[01:36:46] take on the quest that Zavagar has told
[01:36:49] you all about?
[01:36:50] Before that, I'm going to put the tongs
[01:36:52] uh on the back of Ellie.
[01:36:55] Okay.
[01:36:57] Can we Can we try to to lead Alic to the
[01:37:02] I don't know the river? Maybe he'll
[01:37:05] he'll not be drunk after we he takes a
[01:37:07] dip. Or
[01:37:08] you're going to toss me into river.
[01:37:17] Oh no.
[01:37:20] Oh my god. Our smartest person here.
[01:37:23] You're just going to kill him.
[01:37:27] You're the smartest person here.
[01:37:30] The sport person is forgetful, man.
[01:37:35] Are you guys really think that's going
[01:37:36] to
[01:37:38] um so everyone uh I saw you guys since
[01:37:42] you guys went to the general shop, were
[01:37:44] you able to ask anything about the
[01:37:47] uh the mission, the stones or something?
[01:37:52] Well, it's about the same for him. He
[01:37:54] just knows there's a lot of adventurers
[01:37:56] that go and find that or look for that
[01:37:59] singing ruins, but some have and a lot
[01:38:03] of them has not returned. And then they
[01:38:05] all buy the same basic things to be
[01:38:07] honest. So, we just bought some clay.
[01:38:11] Jeff, at this point, do we even know
[01:38:13] where it is?
[01:38:16] That's what I'm saying.
[01:38:18] Um, yes. It's about uh nearby Feainer
[01:38:21] Forest. You know, the general
[01:38:22] direct
[01:38:24] towards it.
[01:38:27] Great.
[01:38:28] Based on the rumor.
[01:38:30] Okay. Okay.
[01:38:32] So, this is a roll type of situation.
[01:38:35] Okay.
[01:38:37] I think Sabagar should lead us.
[01:38:42] Yes. The drunk paladin is leading us.
[01:38:45] He's not drunk. He's perfectly fine,
[01:38:47] right, Sabagar?
[01:38:49] Yeah. Just like my morning star.
[01:38:56] All right. Uh well, six of you start
[01:38:59] heading uh towards the tree line. And uh
[01:39:02] takes a while for you to slip out of um
[01:39:05] the domain of Capulet and into the
[01:39:08] forest, but eventually enter the proper
[01:39:12] um part of the woods and the dirt road
[01:39:15] kind of wanes until the uh it vanishes
[01:39:20] in front of you and you are met with
[01:39:21] just woods. Um, as far as you can see,
[01:39:26] um, you do know the general direction of
[01:39:28] the ruins, especially at high points in
[01:39:31] the forest. You can kind of see past the
[01:39:35] canopy where,
[01:39:38] you know, a small structure is
[01:39:41] um, jutting out over the horizon in the
[01:39:44] distance. Um, but it's extremely far
[01:39:48] away. It's like you can barely see it.
[01:39:50] And by walking it would take
[01:39:53] um almost a day of walking to get there.
[01:39:57] So um and it's like evening right now.
[01:40:02] So uh or nearing nearing the fall of
[01:40:05] sunset
[01:40:07] uh for six of you give me a survival
[01:40:11] check.
[01:40:13] Why I still drunk?
[01:40:15] All right.
[01:40:16] Oh yeah. Is
[01:40:18] my silver yet, Jeff?
[01:40:21] Sorry.
[01:40:22] Am I sober yet?
[01:40:25] Yes.
[01:40:25] Okay.
[01:40:26] Uh 13.
[01:40:28] I'll put him down now.
[01:40:29] Thank you. Thank you. I apologize. I
[01:40:32] think I drank a little
[01:40:35] 17.
[01:40:36] I got a 20. 20.
[01:40:38] I got an eight. God. [ __ ] you, baby.
[01:40:44] Um 20 for Tessic. Uh,
[01:40:49] eight for Alrich. Place them in the
[01:40:51] chat.
[01:40:53] 13 for Aubrey. Uh, for Poppy,
[01:40:58] 20,
[01:41:01] 11 for Zagar, and
[01:41:04] oh, 17 for
[01:41:07] um, it takes you
[01:41:18] Where did it go?
[01:41:25] Uh, it takes you until nightfall for the
[01:41:28] six of you to get halfway um through the
[01:41:33] woods. Uh, you don't see the ruins
[01:41:36] anymore. in the distance it's been
[01:41:39] covered by uh fog and the trees in this
[01:41:44] parts of the fineer forest are higher
[01:41:47] and denser um not allowing any more of
[01:41:51] vantage point where you can see your
[01:41:53] destination
[01:41:54] but essentially you set in for the night
[01:41:57] as dark completely darkness completely
[01:42:02] uh creeps up on the six of you as you
[01:42:05] are plunged into The ambit of night
[01:42:09] um is the even tide passage. Um you
[01:42:13] would have to set up camp now unless you
[01:42:16] would like to travel
[01:42:18] push on blindly into um the night in the
[01:42:22] dark.
[01:42:25] It's going to be a little difficult
[01:42:26] navigating the forest right now. So
[01:42:28] maybe we can take a break over we can
[01:42:31] sleep through the night. I
[01:42:33] agree. Tessic is afraid of the dark.
[01:42:38] Yeah,
[01:42:40] camp out for
[01:42:42] setting up camp sounds good.
[01:42:45] Hey, so who starts the fire? Always got
[01:42:48] to be a fire.
[01:42:50] I conjure fire into my hand.
[01:42:53] Well, somebody has to gather Somebody
[01:42:55] has to gather wood or
[01:42:57] burnable wood first and then I'll
[01:42:59] firebolt it.
[01:43:02] Can I grab the amos?
[01:43:05] Okay,
[01:43:06] I will go out to carry the I'll go out
[01:43:08] to find the wood. No one is burning
[01:43:10] tonight.
[01:43:13] Uh you do that in your downtime. That's
[01:43:16] uh easy enough. Uh you're in the forest
[01:43:18] anyway. So nightfalls and the six of you
[01:43:23] build the fire with all ignition.
[01:43:29] And for the purposes of this, we can try
[01:43:32] this. Um,
[01:43:35] you have a choice whether I I can just
[01:43:38] deduct food tax from you guys or you can
[01:43:41] actually make use of um a cooking
[01:43:45] mechanic if you have ingredients.
[01:43:52] I only have Russian.
[01:43:54] They all have Russian. We all have
[01:43:57] rations for now.
[01:43:59] Yeah, but I think we have cooking tools.
[01:44:01] Yeah,
[01:44:01] we have the tools, but not the
[01:44:03] ingredients.
[01:44:04] Not the ingredients.
[01:44:06] Yeah.
[01:44:07] All right, then. That's perfectly fine.
[01:44:09] So, you stick your rations for now as
[01:44:13] budding adventurers out on the road. You
[01:44:15] don't have much to your name or much in
[01:44:18] your pockets, but yeah. Um,
[01:44:21] so you start your your long rest. um
[01:44:26] partaking in your ration, sitting around
[01:44:28] the fire.
[01:44:30] Naturally,
[01:44:31] the deepest part of the night comes and
[01:44:35] your watch begins. How would you like to
[01:44:38] divide the watch? Who would like to take
[01:44:40] the first watch?
[01:44:42] I volunteer.
[01:44:49] Mr. Jeff. Uh,
[01:44:51] yes.
[01:44:53] How many days has it been since we all
[01:44:55] met S Tavern? Three days, right? Or
[01:44:58] something.
[01:44:59] It's a tavern. Like,
[01:45:01] yeah.
[01:45:02] Canina, this is just the first day.
[01:45:04] Ah, this is the first day. Oh,
[01:45:06] I mean like the fail. Do you think
[01:45:09] Yeah, when we got out of the fails?
[01:45:11] Oh, this would be the fourth day. Would
[01:45:14] I get the same amount of experimental
[01:45:16] elixirs or
[01:45:18] Yes. You would now have four unless
[01:45:20] you've used them.
[01:45:21] Okay,
[01:45:23] two,
[01:45:24] five,
[01:45:26] three, six.
[01:45:28] Thanks.
[01:45:30] Okay. Who's the first watch?
[01:45:34] It's going to be
[01:45:34] I can take first watch. Oh,
[01:45:37] it's Avagar and OD.
[01:45:39] I could join.
[01:45:41] And Poppy. Nobody sleep then.
[01:45:44] Nobody sleep then.
[01:45:50] Can go first
[01:45:51] for the night for the second watch.
[01:45:55] All right. So split into three.
[01:45:58] Sounds reasonable.
[01:46:00] Yeah. Yeah.
[01:46:02] So, you watch over your your companions
[01:46:06] as you find a space to sit on a large
[01:46:09] boulder overlooking
[01:46:11] um the wide area of the forest. Um you
[01:46:14] were kind of like your camp or your base
[01:46:17] where you've set up is kind of pressed
[01:46:20] against um the crags or the rocky short
[01:46:26] cliff side um of a hill. But yes,
[01:46:31] surrounded by covered in the uh safe in
[01:46:35] the cover of trees, you find the bright
[01:46:39] sanctuary of your bonfire enclosing you.
[01:46:43] May begin your watch.
[01:46:50] Just for your information, Pepper, when
[01:46:53] we night when we have a night's watch,
[01:46:55] that's when we role play and talk to
[01:46:57] each other.
[01:47:01] Oh [ __ ]
[01:47:02] Okay.
[01:47:06] I'm ready.
[01:47:07] Well,
[01:47:09] what do you think about this rations?
[01:47:13] It's very nice, but very dry for me.
[01:47:17] Well, it is the basic stuff, so just
[01:47:19] enough to get by. It's not really
[01:47:21] something you enjoy, Miss Poppy.
[01:47:24] Thanks, Steve. Uh, how's your hometown?
[01:47:27] Is it um
[01:47:28] h
[01:47:29] very nice is a is it a very nice place
[01:47:32] where you came from Odi?
[01:47:33] Oh.
[01:47:35] Oh well it's it was a little tiny town
[01:47:38] where uh it's mostly farmers there.
[01:47:41] That's why I know a little bit about
[01:47:45] uh
[01:47:47] you know. Yeah. So
[01:47:50] that's was my usual job back then. So
[01:47:53] Oh, you're a farmer.
[01:47:56] Uh, I guess you could say that I was
[01:47:58] more uh I was more of the type to gather
[01:48:02] ingredients and take care of the plants
[01:48:04] at home. So,
[01:48:06] yeah.
[01:48:08] The plants.
[01:48:08] How about you, Miss Pap?
[01:48:10] Me? Well,
[01:48:12] yeah. How was your hometown?
[01:48:14] It's very small. It's called um I don't
[01:48:17] know if you've heard from the others,
[01:48:18] but uh I told them I came from a place
[01:48:21] called Willow Me.
[01:48:23] where the slightly small people live.
[01:48:28] It's called willow meat.
[01:48:30] Yeah, it's called millow willow meat
[01:48:33] because we have a lot of willow trees
[01:48:35] and then we produce a a type of alcohol
[01:48:39] called meat.
[01:48:40] That's what I was drinking in the title.
[01:48:43] Yeah, it is. Especially in the summer.
[01:48:46] Yeah, if you like if you like uh
[01:48:48] alcoholic drinks, you should you should
[01:48:50] try it.
[01:48:53] such a very
[01:48:54] I'm not a big fan of alcohol, but I'm
[01:48:57] willing to try.
[01:48:58] Okay, that would be nice.
[01:49:01] How about you, Mr. Savaga?
[01:49:04] Should I call you mister? Maybe just
[01:49:06] Savagarted.
[01:49:08] Miss
[01:49:12] Why is this person talking?
[01:49:15] Yeah, you've been quiet lately. Maybe
[01:49:17] you could tell us something about you,
[01:49:20] about your time.
[01:49:21] Well,
[01:49:22] while you travel.
[01:49:23] As I've said before, I'm not really the
[01:49:26] type to keep company
[01:49:28] and not the type of guy that engages in
[01:49:31] small talk. But seeing as though we will
[01:49:35] be spending a bit of time together, I
[01:49:38] might as well.
[01:49:41] Uh,
[01:49:44] I've been away from home for a long time
[01:49:48] and I don't really like talking about
[01:49:49] it. I have a dark past in my
[01:49:54] hometown
[01:49:56] and I would like to separate myself from
[01:49:58] that past.
[01:50:01] I see.
[01:50:01] So, I became a wanderer.
[01:50:04] You're a wanderer. I see. That's fine.
[01:50:08] I'm a wanderer myself. I go from town to
[01:50:11] town.
[01:50:14] Are you searching for something or
[01:50:16] perhaps running away from something?
[01:50:21] A little bit of both.
[01:50:25] Is it something?
[01:50:26] I don't really know what I'm looking
[01:50:28] I know what I'm running away from.
[01:50:30] Is it something we should be worried
[01:50:32] about?
[01:50:37] Uh, it should not concern our journey.
[01:50:40] So, I wouldn't worry about it.
[01:50:43] Let's get to
[01:50:50] Can you tell a little more about
[01:50:52] yourself? Well, I know that uh Papy and
[01:50:57] I are very familiar with each other
[01:50:58] already, so I guess we'd like to give
[01:51:01] you the stage a little one.
[01:51:05] Well,
[01:51:07] before my life as a
[01:51:12] Traveler, I suppose.
[01:51:16] I was once a paladin.
[01:51:22] A paladin?
[01:51:25] Yeah, but I've kind of lost
[01:51:28] faith in my order.
[01:51:31] Why is that? Something happens,
[01:51:38] I guess.
[01:51:43] Sorry, I read chat and answer a lot.
[01:51:48] Anyway,
[01:51:54] trying
[01:51:56] well
[01:52:01] in my order.
[01:52:05] We were engaged in what we were told was
[01:52:08] a holy war.
[01:52:12] And
[01:52:19] me and my brothers,
[01:52:21] we fought
[01:52:23] in faith and arms,
[01:52:27] but then we found out that it was
[01:52:31] nothing more than
[01:52:33] politics.
[01:52:37] Through my hand,
[01:52:40] we spread chaos.
[01:52:43] We killed innocents
[01:52:46] in the name of our so-called god.
[01:52:51] I see.
[01:52:54] That must be very hard.
[01:53:00] Is it still going on now?
[01:53:08] I wouldn't know. I've been
[01:53:12] disconnected from that for quite a long
[01:53:15] time now.
[01:53:28] Sorry.
[01:53:31] Okay. So, anyone else want to share
[01:53:34] something?
[01:53:35] Wait,
[01:53:36] wait.
[01:53:40] If it's your scene, don't look at the
[01:53:42] chat.
[01:53:47] So, uh I'm quite curious about this uh
[01:53:51] this god you were fighting for.
[01:53:54] May I know the name of the god if you
[01:53:56] don't uh don't mind?
[01:54:01] I'd really rather not.
[01:54:03] Maybe some clue.
[01:54:05] It's a betrayer guy.
[01:54:08] Maybe some clue. Then it it it made me a
[01:54:11] bit curious.
[01:54:15] I'm a little tired. Maybe we can talk
[01:54:17] about this some other time.
[01:54:23] Suspicion rises a little and like All
[01:54:27] right, Mr. Pepper. Hi, Mr.
[01:54:30] Mr. Zagar.
[01:54:33] Mr. Zagar,
[01:54:34] Mr. Capri, what did he say? Mr.
[01:54:40] All right, Mr. Zagar, keep your secrets.
[01:54:45] All right. Um,
[01:54:48] uh, Zavagar kind of settles in for the
[01:54:50] night. He turns away, um, refusing to
[01:54:52] answer more questions. OD and Poppy, the
[01:54:55] two of you kind of side eye each other,
[01:54:58] suspicions rising,
[01:55:00] but nothing more comes to passes unless
[01:55:04] you want to
[01:55:06] talk more.
[01:55:12] You know, I'm not really used to
[01:55:16] traveling this far away from home, Miss
[01:55:20] Really?
[01:55:23] So, how is it so far? Did you like it
[01:55:29] going? It's pretty fun. It's like I
[01:55:33] guess it's like doing chores far away
[01:55:35] from home like you know for gold like
[01:55:38] just to survive. Kind of crazy how
[01:55:44] I could just be relying on my little
[01:55:46] garden at home. But I have to buy
[01:55:48] everything now. It's crazy.
[01:55:51] when that is quite true. I I imagine it
[01:55:53] would be hard for a first time traveler,
[01:55:56] you know, for a long time. I've been
[01:55:58] living in Willow Me for for, you know,
[01:56:02] since I was born, but then like I I kind
[01:56:07] of felt like I am wasting some time
[01:56:12] like uh every day is the same.
[01:56:15] Yeah, every day is the same. Uh, I wake
[01:56:18] up, I tend to the farm, I go out and
[01:56:23] meet some friends again and again, you
[01:56:25] know, and it it felt like it's just like
[01:56:29] that like like having a a same dream
[01:56:33] over and over again. That's why I kind
[01:56:36] of decided that, you know, like uh life
[01:56:39] shouldn't be like this repetitive. And
[01:56:42] I'm not saying it's bad. It's just that
[01:56:45] I felt like there's something else out
[01:56:48] there, you know, and like staying
[01:56:49] staying at the same place might be me
[01:56:52] limiting myself. You know, we've got
[01:56:55] some life to live. I would say
[01:57:00] yeah, we never know when our last or I
[01:57:04] don't know
[01:57:06] things happen. So, I'd rather experience
[01:57:10] a lot of things I would say.
[01:57:15] That does
[01:57:17] that does make a lot of sense, Miss
[01:57:19] Poppy.
[01:57:21] Especially
[01:57:23] Especially when you never know when
[01:57:26] people could suddenly go. No.
[01:57:28] True. Yeah, that's what I believe so as
[01:57:31] well. Uh and like traveling with you
[01:57:34] guys is kind of fun. I mean if if it had
[01:57:37] been like just to the fair realm but if
[01:57:39] I haven't moved out of town then uh I
[01:57:42] mean out of our place then I won't meet
[01:57:45] uh Ilio and Eie then you know you guys.
[01:57:49] So
[01:57:51] it's quite a fun experience for me.
[01:57:55] M
[01:57:57] well for me back at home every I guess
[01:58:00] that's why I didn't want to leave before
[01:58:03] that every day was always even a little
[01:58:06] bit different like uh sometimes the
[01:58:09] neighbor would need some help with
[01:58:12] something like like there's something
[01:58:14] wrong with their garden or something
[01:58:16] needs to be fixed or maybe even
[01:58:21] like
[01:58:23] like maybe my brother's trying something
[01:58:25] new out and then like it's going to
[01:58:27] cause a ruckus in the house.
[01:58:31] Yeah.
[01:58:32] You got like a one, two, how many?
[01:58:35] Oh, I I only have one brother. It's my
[01:58:38] younger brother.
[01:58:40] What's his name?
[01:58:42] Uh,
[01:58:45] well, his name is Ori.
[01:58:48] Ori. Little close to my name. Yeah.
[01:58:51] Yeah. That's cute. Are you close
[01:58:55] to each other?
[01:58:56] We We were, but
[01:58:59] not anymore.
[01:59:01] He We suddenly left. I don't know where
[01:59:03] he is now.
[01:59:04] Did you get into some disagreement?
[01:59:10] Not really.
[01:59:12] I guess he wanted to do something else
[01:59:14] other than stay at home.
[01:59:16] See, he's uh somehow like you do tend to
[01:59:20] the farm. And what what does he do?
[01:59:23] Uh
[01:59:25] not really. He does most of the studying
[01:59:29] between us actually. Uh
[01:59:33] well uh he studies magic and I didn't
[01:59:38] happen to have the talents for it. So
[01:59:41] Oh,
[01:59:42] he spent a lot of time on that.
[01:59:44] I see. He's like a a what do we call the
[01:59:48] magical folks? a pizza.
[01:59:52] Um, I'm not sure. I hear those words
[01:59:56] being thrown a lot, but I don't know the
[01:59:57] difference anyway. So,
[02:00:00] I see.
[02:00:01] That's just
[02:00:03] Does he look like you?
[02:00:07] Well, he's not a girl,
[02:00:11] so I would assume not.
[02:00:15] I mean I mean like uh same black hair
[02:00:20] tall figure.
[02:00:22] Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He is pretty tall.
[02:00:25] He's taller than me and yeah just
[02:00:29] shorter hair
[02:00:31] with a beard. So
[02:00:35] maybe while traveling we can you may see
[02:00:38] him again. Who knows?
[02:00:40] I hope so.
[02:00:44] Okay. Um, so at this point the two of
[02:00:48] you, your watch comes to nearing its
[02:00:51] end. Give me a perception check.
[02:00:55] Uh, Zavagar, too.
[02:01:01] That's a
[02:01:04] perception.
[02:01:05] That's a 14.
[02:01:07] I got 15 + 2 17.
[02:01:11] I am knocked the [ __ ] out. But I'm at
[02:01:13] four.
[02:01:16] He totally forgot.
[02:01:22] I was too annoyed to pay attention.
[02:01:25] Okay.
[02:01:26] The three of you swap watches with
[02:01:29] Alrich, Sheamus, and Pessik. Um, and OD,
[02:01:33] Zavagar, and Poppy. You take your turns
[02:01:36] tucking in for the night.
[02:01:43] I'm grabbing my potions before
[02:01:48] then I run to
[02:01:51] come here. I have something for you.
[02:01:53] Oh, what what is it? Messing.
[02:01:57] Remember the time that uh OD threw me so
[02:02:00] high and I was so scared.
[02:02:02] Uhhuh.
[02:02:04] Now this this will solve everything.
[02:02:07] Oh,
[02:02:08] it
[02:02:10] Yes. I say no more. You know what it is.
[02:02:13] Gold hair here is now. You will know.
[02:02:16] So, so when I'm falling, I should What
[02:02:19] do I do with it? Do I drink it? Do I
[02:02:21] slather it on my body? What do I
[02:02:23] drink it if you want to reach great
[02:02:25] heights?
[02:02:26] I'll drink it if I drink it if I want
[02:02:28] to. Oh, okay. Okay, Mr. Mr. Mr. I
[02:02:33] appreciate it.
[02:02:35] And then for our golden boy here, you
[02:02:37] drink this when when you're low. Okay.
[02:02:40] Is this when he's low? What do you mean
[02:02:42] when he's low? When he's down on the
[02:02:44] ground or when he's
[02:02:46] It's up to him to interpret that.
[02:02:50] Good luck. Good luck with that. Cuz I
[02:02:51] kind of forgot. I kind of mixed them all
[02:02:54] up and I forgot how I assembled them.
[02:02:55] So,
[02:02:56] is this a healing potion?
[02:02:58] I don't know. You tell me.
[02:03:02] Don't drink it now.
[02:03:05] Thank you, Tess.
[02:03:07] And I'm just gonna
[02:03:09] set on a random log somewhere.
[02:03:12] Where do you get all of your Where do
[02:03:14] you get all of your supplies to make all
[02:03:15] of these, Mr. Test? Because I I imagine
[02:03:19] considering all the times that you keep
[02:03:21] asking for gold, but you don't have a
[02:03:23] lot of money just like those.
[02:03:26] I mean, it literally comes from gold. I
[02:03:28] use it as the main source of my elixir,
[02:03:31] just like how uh what's his name? the
[02:03:34] the black bunny that we met at f the
[02:03:37] golden tree stuff. I forgot
[02:03:40] the one with the daughter.
[02:03:41] Oh, Mr. Aolof. A wolf. Beaolf. What was
[02:03:45] his name?
[02:03:46] Yeah, I I think so.
[02:03:47] I don't know.
[02:03:48] Yeah. Yeah.
[02:03:49] Just like how he uses gold as a main
[02:03:51] ingredient for his elixir. That's how I
[02:03:53] also do it. However, I use I make them
[02:03:56] differently since I, you know, utilize
[02:03:59] the song to fine-tune everything.
[02:04:03] You you you also utilize a saw to create
[02:04:06] your elixir.
[02:04:08] Yes, that's why I was very excited to go
[02:04:10] to this ruins. It might lead me
[02:04:12] somewhere. I forgot where, but it might
[02:04:14] lead me somewhere, you know.
[02:04:16] Oh, did do you think your your song
[02:04:20] could maybe somehow counteract their
[02:04:23] song in certain ways?
[02:04:26] I doubt
[02:04:28] look at me. I'm very weak. I almost
[02:04:31] vomited when that when that when that
[02:04:34] guy pushes sore at my ribs.
[02:04:38] No, you know the guy with a small penis.
[02:04:47] You're a very entertaining individual,
[02:04:49] Mr. Tessic. And I and I'm I'm I'm glad
[02:04:51] that we were able to to find you again,
[02:04:54] find each other again after our
[02:04:56] adventures.
[02:04:59] I know, right? I was taking a [ __ ] and
[02:05:01] then there you go. A lot of people in
[02:05:03] front of me there with their face.
[02:05:10] I don't know how I got there though. I
[02:05:12] was just getting chased again as usual.
[02:05:15] I'm very thankful that me.
[02:05:17] Those bandits seem to to really take an
[02:05:20] interest in you. I imagine we'll
[02:05:21] encounter them again.
[02:05:24] I hope you can kill them for me, too.
[02:05:27] I don't know about killing them, but I
[02:05:29] could definitely pull down their pants
[02:05:30] again just like I did this morning.
[02:05:34] I think they have gold, so you might
[02:05:35] want to kill them, you know.
[02:05:37] Okay, sure, Mr. Anything for you.
[02:05:40] Thank you. Thank you. Our our little
[02:05:44] cleric friend here is very shy. He
[02:05:45] hasn't spoken yet.
[02:05:47] Oh, uh, forgive me. I'm just trying to
[02:05:50] remember something.
[02:05:53] Uh, it shouldn't be
[02:05:57] Well, it shouldn't be important. So, you
[02:05:59] guys go on ahead.
[02:06:01] What were you thinking about, Mr.
[02:06:02] Sheamus?
[02:06:05] I'm trying to remember
[02:06:08] the what my son looked like.
[02:06:11] Ever since I gave that locket away,
[02:06:14] I kind of don't remember how they looked
[02:06:16] like.
[02:06:18] Your memories were tied to that locket.
[02:06:22] Um, I guess I mean I can still remember
[02:06:26] what we did, what what we were as a
[02:06:29] family, but his face
[02:06:33] it's almost like a blur.
[02:06:37] A blur?
[02:06:40] Yeah. I I just can't remember.
[02:06:43] I mean, that's that's the only reason
[02:06:47] why I kind of left my hometown. Uh, just
[02:06:51] to find them. But now that's going to be
[02:06:53] like a bit impossible, I would say. I
[02:06:57] mean, how would you look for someone who
[02:07:00] you don't know the base to?
[02:07:03] I mean, you did tell us what he looked
[02:07:04] like.
[02:07:06] I guess I mean I forgot. So,
[02:07:10] well, that's
[02:07:12] certainly helpful. Well, I guess I just
[02:07:16] remember his name and
[02:07:19] Well, that's the that I could go up
[02:07:21] with.
[02:07:22] What was his name again?
[02:07:24] Oh, uh, his name is Levi.
[02:07:27] Levi. Okay. Tessic will keep it in mind.
[02:07:32] Sure you will.
[02:07:34] Well,
[02:07:35] imagining how Tessic, Mr. Tessic has
[02:07:38] been in the past few days. I imagine
[02:07:40] he'll forget what he he'll forget this
[02:07:42] entire conversation in about a few
[02:07:44] hours.
[02:07:46] I I honestly would assume so. So, it's
[02:07:49] nothing.
[02:07:50] Well, speaking of Well, where did you
[02:07:54] come from, Mr. Albert?
[02:07:56] Oh, I just came from a small mining town
[02:08:00] to the west. It's nothing
[02:08:04] grand or illustrious such as yourself,
[02:08:06] Mr. Mr.
[02:08:09] Desik. But I came from poor family,
[02:08:12] hardworking individuals.
[02:08:16] We're just in a mining town trying to
[02:08:18] trying to get back.
[02:08:21] Well, firstly, my name is Shimus, but
[02:08:24] Oh, sorry.
[02:08:26] See who's forgetful now, huh?
[02:08:29] Doing multiple things at the same time.
[02:08:31] I'm sorry.
[02:08:33] Well, that that seems pretty far. Is
[02:08:37] there any particular reason why you went
[02:08:40] here?
[02:08:42] Well,
[02:08:44] I don't think it's it's come up
[02:08:48] often in our in our short time together,
[02:08:50] but I I'm sure you've noticed that I
[02:08:54] have certain abilities
[02:08:57] to manipulate to me to a certain degree,
[02:09:01] but unfortunately, this is a little bit
[02:09:05] unstable times.
[02:09:09] Um
[02:09:11] there's been instances where I would
[02:09:13] just suddenly turn the visible or
[02:09:16] levitate the things around me
[02:09:19] in certain moments maybe even cause harm
[02:09:22] to the people around
[02:09:24] and
[02:09:26] considering the fact that the people in
[02:09:29] my town is already going through enough.
[02:09:31] I hope to add a rogue and uncontrollable
[02:09:36] magical person to be part of their
[02:09:38] problem.
[02:09:42] Does that mean you have I don't know
[02:09:45] wild magic within you?
[02:09:48] I don't really know, Mr. Mr. Shamus.
[02:09:53] These these abilities just came to me
[02:09:55] when I was young and I've been trying to
[02:09:57] figure it out since. I don't know what
[02:09:58] it's called, how it works, but it is
[02:10:01] what it is.
[02:10:03] It's pretty similar to our big lady
[02:10:05] friend.
[02:10:07] Yeah. Every time she gets angry or even
[02:10:10] rages, something I don't know, something
[02:10:13] else happens.
[02:10:16] Is that to you as well?
[02:10:18] I don't I don't know.
[02:10:21] I I have noticed Miss Miss OD's
[02:10:23] abilities, but I I wouldn't know if it's
[02:10:26] similar to to my affliction.
[02:10:32] Well, that is something to take in mind,
[02:10:35] especially when we're at fighting. I
[02:10:37] mean so far
[02:10:42] as I mentioned so far what
[02:10:46] at this point silence falls over the
[02:10:50] camp as Alrich Sheamus and Tess suddenly
[02:10:54] your voices
[02:10:56] don't travel across the air anymore and
[02:10:59] midcon conversation the three of you
[02:11:02] fall dead silent.
[02:11:09] Poppy, you take
[02:11:17] uh Poppy, you take uh 16 points of
[02:11:21] piercing damage.
[02:11:22] Oh.
[02:11:24] Oh.
[02:11:26] Which wakes you up. Odin, you take
[02:11:35] 14 points of piercing damage in
[02:11:39] take 14 points of piercing damage in
[02:11:39] your sleep. And
[02:11:42] Zavagar, you take
[02:11:49] 20 points.
[02:11:50] Jesus Christ piercing damage in your
[02:11:52] sleep. As at this moment, Olrich,
[02:11:56] Sheamus, Tessic, soundlessly in the
[02:12:00] ambit of silence, the three of you look
[02:12:02] towards your companions and you see
[02:12:05] three cloaked figures slipping their
[02:12:09] throats.
[02:12:11] Everyone roll initiative.
[02:12:18] You are I'm removing your
[02:12:21] That was rude, Jeff.
[02:12:23] We were wrong playing thing. It was my
[02:12:26] turn to talk about my backstory
[02:12:30] and you do this [ __ ]
[02:12:33] I was going to ask I was going to ask so
[02:12:35] many questions and then why is Lance no
[02:12:37] longer talking
[02:12:39] when it's my turn you do this [ __ ] God
[02:12:43] damn it, man.
[02:12:47] Dag's a punishment for looking at
[02:12:48] mirror. That
[02:12:49] that's not that doesn't work this way
[02:12:51] anymore. That was three sessions ago.
[02:12:56] Initiative rolls, everybody.
[02:12:59] D20, your initiative.
[02:13:00] How much is initiative?
[02:13:02] There should be an initiative score.
[02:13:03] There should be an initiative score
[02:13:05] right in the middle of your character
[02:13:06] sheet. It's right next to your armor
[02:13:07] class.
[02:13:08] Oh, I see it. I see it.
[02:13:09] So, D20 plus that score.
[02:13:12] Yeah. Or you can click it.
[02:13:13] Or you can click it again.
[02:13:16] I got it.
[02:13:18] Oh, wait. Am I in
[02:13:20] Oh, yeah. We have to go to Mero.
[02:13:23] Oh, can you please send your link parex?
[02:13:26] Oh, yeah.
[02:13:27] Jeff, did you ever give him already the
[02:13:29] mirror? The mirror link. Try it.
[02:13:33] I always forget the link.
[02:13:36] What's yours? What's your
[02:13:38] Oh, wait. I haven't rolled. I haven't
[02:13:39] rolled. Wait.
[02:13:42] Thank you.
[02:13:43] Oh, thank God.
[02:13:45] I got a 19.
[02:13:48] That's with your plus.
[02:13:50] Yep.
[02:13:52] Okay.
[02:13:52] Okay. Um, someone please record the full
[02:13:55] roster. Let's pause the chat for a
[02:13:57] moment and someone please record the
[02:13:59] full roster of
[02:14:01] uh initiative orders in the chat
[02:14:04] for everyone to see.
[02:14:06] Okay, before we technically got a long
[02:14:08] rest from that or
[02:14:09] Zabar if you can access the mirror.
[02:14:12] That's we we we already had the full
[02:14:15] rest cuz this was 4 days after the fail.
[02:14:18] Okay.
[02:14:18] Yeah.
[02:14:18] So we we all started with the full rest.
[02:14:21] Okay.
[02:14:22] Yeah.
[02:14:26] Are you good?
[02:14:27] Zapest
[02:14:30] access.
[02:14:32] Oh, I see. Okay. Call up.
[02:14:36] You should see Lus tech tips.
[02:14:41] Request
[02:14:46] [ __ ]
[02:14:48] battle music. Yes, he is Jose.
[02:14:50] Yes, I am.
[02:14:51] That's his real name. Sosh.
[02:14:55] Thank you, Gab.
[02:14:58] Wait,
[02:15:03] I believe I granted you access.
[02:15:10] Are we silent in game or did you just
[02:15:12] mute us for
[02:15:15] so you can introduce it?
[02:15:16] Um, in game you are inside
[02:15:21] silence. So none of you can talk. No uh
[02:15:25] verbal spells.
[02:15:27] Correct. None of you can hear each
[02:15:28] other.
[02:15:29] You put the [ __ ] spellcasters in a
[02:15:32] silent spell.
[02:15:33] Okay, so Pepper, you now have access.
[02:15:36] This guy just put the the three
[02:15:38] spellcasters in a silent spell.
[02:15:41] We're [ __ ]
[02:15:43] Your profile picker.
[02:15:47] That's Lionus.
[02:15:52] Go to the left, Pepper. Go to the left.
[02:15:54] Go to the left.
[02:15:54] Hold on. It's It's to the left.
[02:15:58] Top left.
[02:15:59] To the left.
[02:16:00] Just scroll out. Scroll out and then you
[02:16:04] can see you'll see it in the left.
[02:16:05] Oh, you're almost there, Pepper. There
[02:16:07] you are.
[02:16:08] This might be useful. Bring everyone to
[02:16:10] me.
[02:16:12] Oh, why?
[02:16:15] No, just in case
[02:16:20] I'm dying, man.
[02:16:23] Just don't
[02:16:24] Okay, we have an hour and a half to do
[02:16:26] this combat. Let's go.
[02:16:29] Are you guys ready?
[02:16:30] I locked in.
[02:16:32] There's only three guys. Surely
[02:16:37] this is what happens.
[02:16:39] Um,
[02:16:42] yeah. So, this is what happens inside
[02:16:44] the silence spell. None of you can cast
[02:16:47] verbal spells. Um, none of you can
[02:16:50] communicate. None of you can hear
[02:16:51] anything. It is absolute silence. And
[02:16:54] OD, Zavagar, and Poppy have just been
[02:16:57] woken up from their sleep with the
[02:17:00] dagger to their throats taking critical
[02:17:04] hits. And since none of you had seen
[02:17:07] this coming, at least the previous
[02:17:09] watchers have not seen the bandits
[02:17:13] creeping up on you,
[02:17:15] uh, they get a surprise round, so they
[02:17:17] get to go again.
[02:17:19] Oh,
[02:17:19] dude, this is so brutal.
[02:17:22] So, do I just die?
[02:17:23] You're just gonna die.
[02:17:26] You do recognize all for those who are
[02:17:28] awake. Um, well, Poppy and OD and
[02:17:31] Zavagard who are coming into
[02:17:33] consciousness right now. You do
[02:17:35] recognize these are the three bandits
[02:17:38] plus another another one. Uh, uh,
[02:17:42] they've recruited another one of their
[02:17:43] ilk uh, that you've met in the tavern
[02:17:46] that have threatened Tess for his gold.
[02:17:50] So,
[02:17:52] um, technically that was their surprise
[02:17:55] round. Um, attacks.
[02:17:59] Um, top of the round. Sheamus, it's your
[02:18:02] turn. What do you do?
[02:18:03] Crap. Okay.
[02:18:05] I'm just gonna move.
[02:18:07] Sorry. Hold on.
[02:18:08] So, that was just three bandits.
[02:18:11] Uh, this one will take his surprise
[02:18:14] round. It will attack you, Alick.
[02:18:17] Son of a [ __ ]
[02:18:21] That is
[02:18:24] the uh that is a 20 to hit.
[02:18:27] Dude, I don't have armor on. It was in
[02:18:29] the middle of a long rest.
[02:18:32] You take five points of slashing damage.
[02:18:36] Okay. Five. Five isn't too bad.
[02:18:38] Five. Yeah. Uh for the second one
[02:18:42] to extra attack.
[02:18:44] That is 12. 12 to hit you. My my AC
[02:18:47] without me armor is 12.
[02:18:50] Okay.
[02:18:51] Um you take
[02:18:54] uh eight points of slashing damage.
[02:18:58] Randes two scimitars and
[02:19:02] slashes you across the chest. You fall
[02:19:05] back against a stone gashed across your
[02:19:08] chest. Um that will be that bandit
[02:19:11] surprise uh surprise round. Now Sheamus,
[02:19:14] it's your turn. Top of the round. What
[02:19:15] would you like to
[02:19:16] Oh crap. Um, okay.
[02:19:20] [ __ ] Okay. First, I'm just going to
[02:19:23] stand here.
[02:19:25] That's five from my 30.
[02:19:28] Mhm.
[02:19:32] So, no, no, no. I shouldn't overthink
[02:19:34] this,
[02:19:36] but I am overthinking it. Holy [ __ ]
[02:19:38] Okay,
[02:19:40] I'm just do it.
[02:19:43] Don't overink. Just do it. I'm gonna go.
[02:19:46] [ __ ] I can't. Wait, I just realized.
[02:19:51] Everyone else prepare your turns. Spy.
[02:19:53] We can see
[02:19:54] for for the sake of this. Jeff, can we
[02:19:56] all see the silence field or the edges
[02:19:58] of the silence field or is it invisible?
[02:20:02] It is invisible to you.
[02:20:04] And we don't know who casted it, right?
[02:20:05] Yeah, we don't know who casted it. And
[02:20:07] so technically, we wouldn't know where
[02:20:09] how big. Try on your turn to kind of
[02:20:13] perceive it. I'll allow you that on your
[02:20:15] turn.
[02:20:16] Okay.
[02:20:19] Can I try to perceive how far?
[02:20:23] Sure. Um, give me a arcana check.
[02:20:29] [ __ ]
[02:20:32] Oh, thank god. 21.
[02:20:36] You can see the faint glimmers of the
[02:20:38] edges of this silence spell and um
[02:20:41] you're confident that if you cross that
[02:20:43] threshold, you will uh no longer and
[02:20:48] silenced.
[02:20:49] Okay, then I'm going to move. So 5 10 15
[02:20:54] 20 25 just right here.
[02:20:58] Immediately sound rushes back your
[02:21:01] senses.
[02:21:03] What do you do? Then so and firstly I'm
[02:21:06] going to cast
[02:21:08] a touch.
[02:21:10] Wait, what? Didn't you already do an
[02:21:12] action?
[02:21:13] Is that an action
[02:21:15] to perceive?
[02:21:16] Oh, it wasn't an action. It's just a
[02:21:18] perception.
[02:21:18] Okay. Okay. Okay. Since that's the case,
[02:21:21] I will cast
[02:21:28] uh second double bless on.
[02:21:35] 5 10 15
[02:21:37] bless
[02:21:38] bless on all and
[02:21:42] zavagar.
[02:21:43] All right. Your holy symbol flashes in
[02:21:46] your hands as
[02:21:48] your bless permeates the wall. It
[02:21:51] clashes uh permeates the air. It clashes
[02:21:53] against the wall of silence, but it
[02:21:55] persists permeating the air until the
[02:21:58] light faints. Um, however, so reaches
[02:22:02] and blesses your companions. Uh,
[02:22:04] remember that that's Alrechasic and and
[02:22:07] who else?
[02:22:09] Zavad.
[02:22:10] So, that's just a level one spell.
[02:22:13] And then lastly, my bonus
[02:22:16] can mark them with bless if you want.
[02:22:19] Okay. Uh, as a bonus action, I cast my
[02:22:22] spiritual weapon.
[02:22:24] All right. You cast your spiritual
[02:22:26] weapon and it loops around you. um your
[02:22:30] glowing spectral whip.
[02:22:34] Okay, since
[02:22:37] you can summon it in a space um of your
[02:22:40] choosing, [ __ ]
[02:22:41] Okay, I'm just going to put it here
[02:22:46] hovering beside one of the ano the
[02:22:48] bandits.
[02:22:49] Go ahead.
[02:22:51] And then there.
[02:22:54] Um,
[02:22:56] you can make a bonus action. You haven't
[02:22:59] yet. Um,
[02:23:01] I mean,
[02:23:03] yeah, you can make it as part of the
[02:23:04] attack. So, okay, I can I'll attack the
[02:23:10] bandit with a holy whip.
[02:23:13] You made a holy whip?
[02:23:18] Oh my god. Yes.
[02:23:24] All right,
[02:23:26] I'm just going to do this in
[02:23:29] [ __ ]
[02:23:31] It's a
[02:23:33] nine.
[02:23:33] A nine. Your whip sails across the air
[02:23:37] and and singes the edges of the bandit's
[02:23:42] cloak with radiant fire, but it misses
[02:23:44] entirely.
[02:23:46] Crap.
[02:23:48] Next up, we have Tessic. What do you
[02:23:49] want to do, Tessic? seeing the glowing
[02:23:52] weapon. I'm going to move towards it.
[02:23:55] Okay,
[02:23:55] just right here.
[02:23:58] And then I'm going to f see for Thank
[02:24:02] you. And then I will
[02:24:06] trying to mimic his bless.
[02:24:10] Mhm.
[02:24:11] I'm going to cast Bane on the one in
[02:24:16] front of Alri.
[02:24:18] Okay.
[02:24:23] And then yeah, that that's it. And then
[02:24:25] Ellie would
[02:24:28] move close would attack this guy would
[02:24:31] try to bite him. So that would be
[02:24:36] 12 +
[02:24:39] 12 + 4 16 to hit.
[02:24:41] Uh what's your spell save DC?
[02:24:44] Uh 14.
[02:24:46] Okay. So they fail. Um,
[02:24:51] you can use this on three targets if you
[02:24:55] want.
[02:24:56] Ah, okay.
[02:24:57] Three creeps.
[02:24:58] So, the one in front of the two people
[02:25:01] surrounding Poppy,
[02:25:04] man.
[02:25:05] Two people. All right.
[02:25:06] I'm done.
[02:25:09] All right. Anything else? Tessic.
[02:25:11] Uh, Ellie attacked. So, 16 to
[02:25:16] 16 does hit. Please roll damage.
[02:25:19] Okay.
[02:25:19] Or force damage.
[02:25:21] So 1 eight. That's a seven.
[02:25:26] Uh seven damage. All right. Um
[02:25:29] Ellie kind of juts out her. Uh how does
[02:25:32] Ellie attack any? This is supposed to be
[02:25:34] range. This is a ranged attack, mind
[02:25:37] you. So it would have disadvantage at
[02:25:38] this close range.
[02:25:40] Okay. Then I roll another one. Oh, he
[02:25:43] doesn't hit. That's a two.
[02:25:45] That's a two. That misses. Um, would you
[02:25:47] like to describe how Ellie attacks force
[02:25:49] damage
[02:25:53] as the as I' put the uh forks on her
[02:25:59] back and then she vibrates and then you
[02:26:02] the vibration uh expands through the
[02:26:06] fork and it channels through outside.
[02:26:10] All right. So, it's it it it emits kind
[02:26:12] of like it starts with a vibration from
[02:26:15] the little homunculus uh Ellie and it
[02:26:18] emits kind of like a sonic scream but
[02:26:21] concentrated into a ball of force as he
[02:26:26] but then it hits um the rock face behind
[02:26:29] the bandit. It sends a shower of pebbles
[02:26:33] raining down
[02:26:35] over
[02:26:37] u. Next up, the first bandit. It is his
[02:26:40] turn again.
[02:26:42] He's going to attack Alrichice.
[02:26:44] Jesus, man.
[02:26:48] That's a natural 14.
[02:26:50] That is
[02:26:52] That's uh seven slashing damage for the
[02:26:56] first attack.
[02:26:57] Jesus.
[02:26:58] He attacks you. You get a gash across
[02:27:00] your arm as he tries to block the sword.
[02:27:03] Next is a natural one.
[02:27:06] Great. the the sword slips from his
[02:27:08] grasp and ricochets against the stone.
[02:27:11] It
[02:27:13] it clatters on the ground. He says,
[02:27:16] "Sit."
[02:27:18] And then he pulls a dagger from from
[02:27:20] behind his uh from underneath his his
[02:27:22] sleeve. Um but that will be the bandit's
[02:27:26] the first bandit's turn. Uh he's not
[02:27:28] going to move, which means OD it's your
[02:27:31] turn. You are prone. you are awake
[02:27:34] and you are disoriented. No mechanical
[02:27:37] debuff, but you would have to use um
[02:27:42] half of your movement to stand up.
[02:27:47] Okay. So, I one I stand up. I look
[02:27:51] around and I sense the magic around me.
[02:27:55] Can I will use uh magic awareness to
[02:27:58] find where the spell is from.
[02:28:02] Go ahead. Um, you concentrate your
[02:28:04] magical awareness in heat of the moment,
[02:28:07] foregoing the danger right above you as
[02:28:10] you look towards your companions. No
[02:28:12] sound and you are wrapped in complete
[02:28:15] silence. But then you go towards the
[02:28:18] sanctum of your of your strange um
[02:28:23] innate magic. You concentrate and you
[02:28:26] find that the source as the silence
[02:28:28] coalence coaleses denser around the
[02:28:32] bandit just outside of it
[02:28:36] behind Poppy.
[02:28:37] Oh, okay.
[02:28:41] So, does that take an action or
[02:28:46] that's just wait your magic awareness?
[02:28:49] That is an action.
[02:28:50] I believe it's an action. [ __ ]
[02:28:53] That would be your action.
[02:28:55] Okay. So, I would like to enter rage
[02:28:59] as a bonus action.
[02:29:03] And as your um as you're lying down on
[02:29:07] the ground face facing the bandit
[02:29:10] hovering over you, your hair sparkles
[02:29:13] and turns lavender color.
[02:29:16] Would that be it?
[02:29:18] Yes, that would be it.
[02:29:20] All right. Anything else that happens um
[02:29:23] with your rage?
[02:29:26] Oh, right. Oh,
[02:29:29] magic barbarian.
[02:29:31] I forgot. I forgot.
[02:29:33] I haven't played three.
[02:29:36] That's a seven.
[02:29:39] Seven.
[02:29:41] Oh god.
[02:29:42] On a seven. Um, as you activate your
[02:29:46] rage looking up, you your fingertips
[02:29:49] beside you dig on the ground as vines
[02:29:52] curl up your hands. And suddenly the
[02:29:54] terrain around you sprouts in a field of
[02:29:57] flowers.
[02:30:00] And the bandit kind of stumbles back as
[02:30:03] the vines and the leaves wrap around his
[02:30:06] up to his knees almost as as these
[02:30:11] as these flowers curl up against his his
[02:30:14] feet. What the [ __ ] are you?
[02:30:19] That's so racist.
[02:30:21] So this the ground around you is floral
[02:30:24] terrain until your rage ends. The ground
[02:30:27] within 15 ft of you is difficult terrain
[02:30:29] for your enemies.
[02:30:30] Oh, for for the
[02:30:32] for his enemies. For his enemies.
[02:30:34] H for his enemies.
[02:30:36] That's great.
[02:30:37] Jeff, could you center the map
[02:30:39] in your screen? Could you center the map
[02:30:41] a little bit?
[02:30:44] No, I'm recording this so I need to
[02:30:48] make sure.
[02:30:49] But it is centered.
[02:30:52] No, on your streamside.
[02:30:57] There we go. It was okay. That's fine.
[02:31:00] That's great. Thank you.
[02:31:07] Yeah.
[02:31:09] Next up is turn. You are prone and you
[02:31:12] were just waking up. You took a dagger
[02:31:15] to the throat. What would you like to
[02:31:16] do?
[02:31:17] [ __ ] him up.
[02:31:18] Okay. So
[02:31:21] I I'm able to traverse on OD's thingy,
[02:31:26] right?
[02:31:27] Yes. OD's floral terrain.
[02:31:30] Yeah, on her terrain. Okay. So, what I
[02:31:33] would like to do is do I don't consume
[02:31:35] my turn when I wake up to to move,
[02:31:38] right? Because you said it's half a
[02:31:40] movement turn to get up.
[02:31:43] Yes, it's half your movement.
[02:31:46] You just have your movement. So,
[02:31:50] All right.
[02:31:54] So, I would like to move outside of the
[02:31:56] silence field.
[02:31:57] Go ahead.
[02:31:58] Um, don't know yet where the silence
[02:32:00] ends, so give me a perception check.
[02:32:02] That's true. That's true. Okay. Wait,
[02:32:05] let me put myself back first.
[02:32:07] I mean, arcana check.
[02:32:10] Oh, arcana. All right.
[02:32:14] Oh, god. I rolled a seven.
[02:32:18] Okay. Um, you have no idea how expansive
[02:32:21] the silence spell is. Um, I'm going to
[02:32:25] give you I I'll roll D20 for you.
[02:32:32] I'd say
[02:32:34] you second guess yourself in your um it
[02:32:38] depends on you how you want to play
[02:32:39] this, but
[02:32:41] um you can't leave the science spell
[02:32:43] that readily.
[02:32:45] All right. All right. Copy that.
[02:32:49] Okay, I'll just my move then. So, seeing
[02:32:53] as
[02:32:55] Whose character is this?
[02:32:58] That's Poopy.
[02:32:58] Oh, that's Poppy. Okay. Seeing as uh
[02:33:01] Poppy and I are closest to two of them.
[02:33:04] And Poppy's about to get absolutely
[02:33:07] annihilated by
[02:33:09] two bandits here.
[02:33:11] Okay.
[02:33:13] Uh
[02:33:15] I wake up. So, I get up in a fit of rage
[02:33:17] and anger, seeing as the as I've been uh
[02:33:21] attacked in my slumber,
[02:33:24] I strike the nearest bandit with my
[02:33:26] morning star.
[02:33:28] All right, go ahead.
[02:33:33] Roll.
[02:33:36] That's 18 plus 7 25.
[02:33:39] That definitely hits. He's roll damage.
[02:33:42] That's so highamage.
[02:33:44] Oh my god. Remember, he has a 20 in
[02:33:47] strength.
[02:33:47] 5 + 5, it's 10.
[02:33:50] Godamn.
[02:33:51] 10 damage. As you strike your morning
[02:33:54] star in a heartstoppper move, it strikes
[02:33:57] the bandit. Um, barely any armor with
[02:34:00] their worn leather tunic. It strikes
[02:34:03] them in the chest and
[02:34:05] um they fall to their knees and spits
[02:34:08] out a mouthful of blood. Uh, they die.
[02:34:12] Oh,
[02:34:13] 10 points of damage kills him.
[02:34:17] These are just regular bandits tweaked.
[02:34:20] But they did so much.
[02:34:22] But they I mean the the initial attack
[02:34:24] was because it because they're
[02:34:27] but they have extra attack. So like
[02:34:32] I told you don't look behind the the
[02:34:34] curtain.
[02:34:35] Okay. Sorry. I'm sorry. That's my bad.
[02:34:41] All right. Um, anything you would like
[02:34:43] to do further, Zavagar? Do you want to
[02:34:46] move or
[02:34:49] since I knocked one bandit down? I would
[02:34:51] like to move closer to
[02:34:54] I don't remember the name.
[02:34:56] Poy.
[02:34:56] Poy.
[02:34:57] I like to move closer to Poppy just in
[02:34:59] case she gets uh attacked.
[02:35:04] I'd like to be in range for another
[02:35:07] melee attack to retaliate if ever.
[02:35:11] Okay, next up is
[02:35:13] turn.
[02:35:14] You can move your token wherever you
[02:35:16] want to move. Next up is second bandit
[02:35:20] um is going to attack OD who is um
[02:35:23] currently lying on the ground. So they
[02:35:25] get advantage.
[02:35:26] I'm up. I'm up.
[02:35:28] Oh, you stood up. Okay. So
[02:35:31] that's just for one dice troll. That is
[02:35:34] 20 uh dirty 20 to hit.
[02:35:39] Okay.
[02:35:39] Okay.
[02:35:40] Uh you take the first one seven points
[02:35:43] of uh slashing damage have because of
[02:35:46] because you're raging. Uh the next one
[02:35:51] uh that is an 18 to hit.
[02:35:57] Okay.
[02:35:57] You take six points of slashing damage
[02:36:00] have to three.
[02:36:03] The seven one is just four or three.
[02:36:07] Um, round it down for damage. So, three.
[02:36:11] Okay.
[02:36:11] Yeah.
[02:36:13] Uh,
[02:36:15] that will be the bandit's turn. Um, it
[02:36:18] kind of he kind of pulls up his feet and
[02:36:20] he's finding it hard to move in the
[02:36:22] terrain of flowers around you. uh
[02:36:25] reaching up towards him and he's kind of
[02:36:27] like staring at you wide eyes like what
[02:36:29] the [ __ ] I'm not used to fighting such
[02:36:32] a magical warrior. Um next up we have
[02:36:36] Poppy. It's your turn. What would you
[02:36:38] like to do? You just took a dagger to
[02:36:39] the throat.
[02:36:42] Uh
[02:36:43] okay. So what I do is
[02:36:47] I will pull out my shortsord and attempt
[02:36:50] to strike um the guy behind me.
[02:36:55] Yep. Sure. Go ahead.
[02:36:57] Oh, that 17 plus.
[02:37:00] Yeah, I get up. And then
[02:37:03] definitely hits.
[02:37:04] Okay,
[02:37:05] please roll that.
[02:37:08] Plus 4 plus 8.
[02:37:12] 4 + 8. Yeah, definitely. With your short
[02:37:15] sword, you immediately get up and um
[02:37:18] sickle the guy straight through his
[02:37:21] ribs.
[02:37:23] He kind of grabs the the blade as you
[02:37:26] pull it out and then collapses on the
[02:37:30] ground.
[02:37:31] Oh, he's dead.
[02:37:32] Yep.
[02:37:33] These guys are paper.
[02:37:36] That's a silencer.
[02:37:38] The silence at this point vanishes and
[02:37:41] everyone kind of like
[02:37:45] and you can hear everything again. Sound
[02:37:47] rushes back to your senses.
[02:37:50] I
[02:37:50] Okay.
[02:37:52] Then what else can I do?
[02:37:57] Okay, I think um is it okay if I if I if
[02:38:01] I go to like here?
[02:38:05] Is it a place where I could hide or no?
[02:38:09] Um yeah, definitely you can hide in the
[02:38:10] bushes. Yeah.
[02:38:12] Okay. I transfer here.
[02:38:14] You dive straight the the the leaves and
[02:38:17] you you disappear from everyone's view.
[02:38:21] Invisible again.
[02:38:22] She's invisible again.
[02:38:25] Uh, next up is bandit number three is
[02:38:29] dead. Bandit number four is also dead.
[02:38:32] So, it's your turn. What would you like
[02:38:34] to do?
[02:38:35] I'm just absolutely [ __ ] up. I just I
[02:38:39] just took so much damage and I'm just
[02:38:41] I'm just limping towards this guy that
[02:38:45] just absolutely [ __ ] me up. And I'm
[02:38:47] gonna I'm gonna thrust my hand to his
[02:38:50] chest and electricity is going to surge
[02:38:52] through my arm and I'm going to shock
[02:38:54] and grasp him.
[02:38:56] All right. Uh roll for melee hit.
[02:38:58] Roll to hit. I rolled a six plus six.
[02:39:02] That is 12.
[02:39:05] That just makes their armor class. Um as
[02:39:08] you your hand grasps on the leather and
[02:39:11] a bolt of lightning
[02:39:14] strikes them through the chest.
[02:39:17] And that is oh an eight on the damage
[02:39:20] die. So eight points of lightning
[02:39:22] damage.
[02:39:24] Eight points of lightning damage. The
[02:39:26] guy this one was the guy who already
[02:39:28] took previous damage I believe.
[02:39:32] So
[02:39:34] uh let me check.
[02:39:41] I think Ellie bit bit him or something.
[02:39:44] No. I miss
[02:39:50] fireworks.
[02:39:51] So, he takes uh eight points of
[02:39:54] lightning damage. He crumples to the
[02:39:56] ground, but he looks at you with a
[02:39:58] murderous gaze.
[02:40:00] I'll have your hand for that boy.
[02:40:04] Um
[02:40:06] and he says that and then I just say,
[02:40:08] "Fuck you." And I shove him five feet
[02:40:11] away from me with my te with a bonus
[02:40:13] action telekinetic. No bonus action
[02:40:15] telekinetic fe
[02:40:20] strength saving throw. None.
[02:40:21] Uh he has to make a strength saving
[02:40:23] throw against my spell DC
[02:40:26] which is
[02:40:27] what is your spell?
[02:40:28] Which is a 14.
[02:40:31] He also has with a 12. Um he gets tossed
[02:40:35] around
[02:40:36] um five feet away from you.
[02:40:39] who's here.
[02:40:43] You shove him and this unseen invisible
[02:40:45] force
[02:40:47] displaces if him from the ground and
[02:40:51] um he falls prone behind um or beside
[02:40:55] Tessic at your feet and you can move
[02:40:58] your token wherever you want. Tessic,
[02:41:00] it's uh Sheamus, it's your turn. Like
[02:41:04] I'm gonna shoot a sacred flame on that
[02:41:06] guy.
[02:41:08] Okay. He is prone. So you uh he has
[02:41:12] disadvantage on the dexterity saving
[02:41:14] throw.
[02:41:15] Yes.
[02:41:16] Yeah. It's a natural three. So you can't
[02:41:18] get lower than that. Probably it's going
[02:41:20] to fail. So
[02:41:23] uh he fails on the decks. Are you saving
[02:41:25] throw as sacred flame silver hot fire
[02:41:29] erupt from his back and engulf him from
[02:41:31] the ground. Please roll damage.
[02:41:33] He will take six points of damage.
[02:41:37] He burns in silver ASH
[02:41:43] and his as his body is baptized in
[02:41:48] blackened um blackened skin
[02:41:53] and he crumbles into
[02:41:57] um like shredded ash. Right, one bandit
[02:42:01] remaining.
[02:42:04] Uh, next up, Tess. Unless Sheamus, do
[02:42:07] you want to do anything else?
[02:42:08] Okay, wait. I will use my bonus action
[02:42:10] to move my whip.
[02:42:13] I hope this reach.
[02:42:15] Where is the whip? Oh, that's the whip.
[02:42:19] 25.
[02:42:20] Yeah.
[02:42:22] Oh, no. Up to 20 ft now. Crap.
[02:42:24] Yeah, it's just ft.
[02:42:26] So, it's just here and I can't reach it.
[02:42:28] Oh, so close.
[02:42:30] Yeah, it's just going to be there. But I
[02:42:33] can move five 10 15 just here. And
[02:42:37] that's my turn.
[02:42:39] Okay. Um, it is now first bandit's turn,
[02:42:43] but he's dead. So, Odie, it's your turn.
[02:42:46] But you
[02:42:48] Okay. So, I decide to uh attack.
[02:42:53] I got skipped.
[02:42:54] I decide to attack recklessly on the
[02:42:56] bandits
[02:42:57] and Sunny doesn't give a [ __ ]
[02:43:01] I got
[02:43:03] you. You escaped Tessic. But it's okay.
[02:43:06] Just let Otis [ __ ] you. I guess
[02:43:11] let's just I'm just going to shout.
[02:43:12] Oh, [ __ ] you.
[02:43:17] My bad. Okay. Do you want to do anything
[02:43:19] else or you just want to shout?
[02:43:23] Kill the small penis guy. Kill him.
[02:43:26] Okay. So, that's a 20.
[02:43:27] Oh, he's dead.
[02:43:29] He's [ __ ] dead.
[02:43:31] Okay. Yes, he's dead anyway.
[02:43:34] Yeah, he's dead. How do you want to kill
[02:43:36] him?
[02:43:39] Okay. As I
[02:43:41] as I feel this slip against my throat, I
[02:43:45] I real I recognize that this man was the
[02:43:47] one who did it. And all of my rage
[02:43:50] gathers into the into the head of my
[02:43:53] mole
[02:43:54] as I swing as I swing him towards the
[02:43:57] left into the wall of the
[02:44:00] cave p or basa to the wall nearby.
[02:44:04] Oh, damn.
[02:44:04] And
[02:44:07] and I swing with all my might and he
[02:44:09] should be
[02:44:11] I guess splattered across the wall next
[02:44:14] to me.
[02:44:15] Swing your mole attacking recklessly.
[02:44:18] More like a wrecking ball than a weapon
[02:44:20] in your hands. It it cleaves the air and
[02:44:24] strikes the guy at the side of his head.
[02:44:26] And the next thing you know, he's
[02:44:28] flattened against the wall in a splatter
[02:44:30] of crimson.
[02:44:34] That brings us that brings us out of
[02:44:36] initiative. You have survived your first
[02:44:39] ambush by me.
[02:44:40] Oh my god.
[02:44:41] Nice. Can I loot the dagger?
[02:44:46] What?
[02:44:46] Can we START LOOTING THE BODIES?
[02:44:49] LOOTING the bodies.
[02:44:50] Loot the bodies.
[02:44:52] No time wasted. Not even LIKE NO NO NO
[02:44:55] ROLE PLAY LIKE OH MY GOD I was so
[02:44:57] scared.
[02:44:57] The bodies aren't even cold yet.
[02:44:59] THE BODIES AREN'T EVEN COLD. Just
[02:45:01] instantly loot the bodies.
[02:45:04] I'm going to start.
[02:45:05] I mean we're out of rations.
[02:45:08] Um so for this it's just an equivalent
[02:45:10] of um easy enough. You have the time for
[02:45:13] your downtime anyway, but you will have
[02:45:15] to restart your um long rest from the
[02:45:18] top. Um, but essentially among them, you
[02:45:23] don't have to perform a search or
[02:45:25] anything because they don't really have
[02:45:27] much on their person and you have the
[02:45:29] time anyway. But for each of them, so
[02:45:31] there there were four of them. You just
[02:45:34] find uh eight scimitars, one dagger
[02:45:37] each. Um, and
[02:45:39] you could sell those.
[02:45:42] Got to keep the dagger.
[02:45:44] Can I Can I look for the small penis,
[02:45:47] guys?
[02:45:48] Jesus Christ.
[02:45:49] I'm picking two scimiters. Thank you.
[02:45:53] Uh, you find 25 gold. Hey,
[02:45:57] we're rich
[02:45:58] in total. And what what were you looking
[02:46:02] for specifically, Chessik? And
[02:46:04] yeah, the one that uh Alri stripped down
[02:46:06] earlier, the one I te about having a
[02:46:08] small
[02:46:08] The one that Alri stripped down was the
[02:46:11] one Sheamus uh killed with secret fire.
[02:46:14] So, he's burned to a cris black and
[02:46:18] I can't expose him.
[02:46:22] That's so swords.
[02:46:23] Wait, are are we giving money to to
[02:46:25] Pepper cuz he's going to leave anyway?
[02:46:28] Oh, hell yeah. I slayed one guy with one
[02:46:31] swing.
[02:46:33] I earned at least one bandit worth of
[02:46:36] loot.
[02:46:38] Yeah, essentially. So, what happens is
[02:46:40] you guys find the gold, the scimitar,
[02:46:42] and the dagger. Um, nothing more
[02:46:45] noteworthy um on the persons of these um
[02:46:49] regular low-level bandits. Um, they were
[02:46:53] just trying to ambush you. You gather,
[02:46:55] you do find already the remnants of a
[02:46:57] scroll used silence.
[02:47:01] Um, it's been used already, so you can't
[02:47:03] use it anymore.
[02:47:04] It's a silent scroll essentially from
[02:47:06] what you gather.
[02:47:07] Um, actually, no, not with your
[02:47:10] background. It would be OD who
[02:47:11] recognizes
[02:47:13] um the inscription on the scroll and you
[02:47:16] recognize this as a spell scroll um with
[02:47:20] a silent spell inscribed to it, but it
[02:47:22] has now been expended. That's how they
[02:47:24] conjured the silent sphere around you.
[02:47:27] Yeah, nothing noteworthy apart from the
[02:47:29] gold, the dagger, and the scimitars on
[02:47:31] the bandits after you've looted. Um, at
[02:47:33] this point you guys can restart your
[02:47:35] long rest from the top, but you do would
[02:47:37] have um the long night ahead in front of
[02:47:40] you. So, you will take a 10-minute
[02:47:43] break.
[02:47:44] Okay.
[02:47:47] Oh my god.
[02:47:49] You survived the first encounter.
[02:47:52] I I will remember I will remember this.
[02:47:56] What?
[02:47:59] Yeah, I will remember this movie.
[02:48:01] What? What happened? I'll remember this.
[02:48:06] It was not me.
[02:48:06] She was She was her rage was so great
[02:48:10] that she outshadowed the
[02:48:13] Okay, everybody, if we're disseminating
[02:48:15] the 25 gold, we will get four gold, one
[02:48:19] silver, six copper each.
[02:48:21] Oh god. Okay.
[02:48:23] Four gold, one silver,
[02:48:27] six copper.
[02:48:29] Six copper.
[02:48:30] Four GP. One is
[02:48:33] six CP
[02:48:36] verse six copper.
[02:48:39] So we we reset, right? The long rest. So
[02:48:41] we long rest.
[02:48:42] Yeah.
[02:48:45] Oh my goodness.
[02:48:48] He would turn into a pancake.
[02:48:51] I thought I thought that encounter was a
[02:48:53] lot worse than I expected it to be.
[02:48:55] Yeah, actually
[02:48:56] I didn't.
[02:48:57] The crit though, that was crazy. Now the
[02:48:59] crit was it
[02:49:00] 20 damage for nothing, bro.
[02:49:02] Can I feed the kids for me?
[02:49:04] The crit was scary, but it made sense
[02:49:06] cuz you were asleep.
[02:49:08] Yeah.
[02:49:08] Yeah.
[02:49:09] But I But when usually cuz when an enemy
[02:49:12] has two attacks, that means there's
[02:49:14] they're like at least level five
[02:49:17] characters, something like that. Or
[02:49:19] Yeah, I was expecting to get one shot in
[02:49:22] my sleep.
[02:49:26] Thank god he didn't attack me and attack
[02:49:28] all instead.
[02:49:30] I
[02:49:32] didn't get assassinated, but I still I
[02:49:34] still took 20 points of damage.
[02:49:37] I took 20 for free, bro.
[02:49:41] I took 20 for free as well. What the
[02:49:43] [ __ ]
[02:49:45] Oh my god.
[02:49:46] Is crazy. [ __ ] Jeffrey.
[02:49:51] Actually,
[02:49:52] what is the process of healing again? I
[02:49:54] need I need
[02:49:55] uh you since we're still asleep,
[02:49:59] we're still going to sleep. Just click
[02:50:01] on long rest.
[02:50:02] Yeah,
[02:50:03] there should be a button button up top
[02:50:05] that says long rest.
[02:50:07] Perfect.
[02:50:12] If it asks, choose the ano. Y
[02:50:15] Rex, do you want a cheesecake or
[02:50:17] Yes, I would like a cheesecake.
[02:50:19] recover half.
[02:50:20] Yes, recover half of hit dice.
[02:50:23] That doesn't matter right now honestly
[02:50:25] cuz you didn't use any hit dice from
[02:50:27] your short rest. But just that's what
[02:50:28] you clicked in moving forward.
[02:50:30] Okay.
[02:50:36] Oh my god.
[02:50:37] Actually, this
[02:50:40] I was going to walk up to the knee. I
[02:50:43] was so excited to rage. I'm so sorry.
[02:50:45] I'll remember.
[02:50:46] I'll remember. Like I had a good reason
[02:50:49] to rage for once. Okay.
[02:50:51] You're not
[02:50:52] Somebody slipped my throat.
[02:50:54] Huh?
[02:50:55] Real, bro.
[02:50:55] What is Tess talking about again?
[02:50:58] The what?
[02:50:59] What? What are you talking about?
[02:51:01] Talking about the right now or you
[02:51:03] earlier?
[02:51:04] No, right now. Like why why do you hate
[02:51:06] Sally?
[02:51:07] No, no, no. Not really hate. I just
[02:51:11] uh I love how like I kept saying you
[02:51:14] skipped me and then Sally still
[02:51:18] She still finished her turn.
[02:51:20] I was I was screaming. You skipped me.
[02:51:23] It's
[02:51:24] because she was enraged. Yeah.
[02:51:26] She was feeling the moment. Wait a
[02:51:28] cheesecake.
[02:51:29] Oh god.
[02:51:32] Wait.
[02:51:32] Okay. Like guys
[02:51:36] rage lately. Okay. One, I broke a twig.
[02:51:39] Two, I forgot the other one. Like a ng
[02:51:42] bala. This one.
[02:51:46] I'm so sorry, Josie. I didn't hear it.
[02:51:51] I got you two burgers.
[02:51:53] I buy you two burgers.
[02:51:55] Fun fact, cuz I was I wasn't doing [ __ ]
[02:51:57] cuz I knew what I was about to do in the
[02:51:59] next round. So, I was watching everyone
[02:52:01] when Pepper killed someone. I don't know
[02:52:03] if I'm skitso or not. I saw him dancing
[02:52:05] a bit.
[02:52:07] Huh?
[02:52:09] I saw him I saw him shimmying a bit. He
[02:52:12] was so happy.
[02:52:14] Yeah.
[02:52:18] Oh, yeah.
[02:52:20] I'm on the prowl, bro.
[02:52:25] I'm supposed to be the big man. How dare
[02:52:28] you strike me in my sleep.
[02:52:30] We're both the big man's. What do you
[02:52:32] mean?
[02:52:33] Okay.
[02:52:34] Big man.
[02:52:37] Exactly.
[02:52:39] Oh my goodness.
[02:52:40] First encounter.
[02:52:41] Loki, I expected to die.
[02:52:45] As per usual,
[02:52:51] this is basically Pepper's tutorial
[02:52:55] combat.
[02:52:56] Yeah, I thought you were I thought you
[02:52:58] were going to kill him during his
[02:52:59] tutorial combat.
[02:53:04] That's
[02:53:06] I can't send you guys like buffed up
[02:53:08] bandits too much cuz it would take two
[02:53:11] hours of combat.
[02:53:15] Oh my.
[02:53:16] But I love how the flow you combat is
[02:53:19] way faster now.
[02:53:21] We know what we're doing.
[02:53:23] Yeah, it's it's
[02:53:24] honestly DG3 helps so much to understand
[02:53:28] like the combat. Did you know Imagine
[02:53:31] like
[02:53:32] every every time I played with them and
[02:53:34] then we would fight someone instead of
[02:53:36] moving to an advantageous spot like high
[02:53:38] ground or like away from the enemy, they
[02:53:41] would immediately go to a dead body just
[02:53:43] to loot it.
[02:53:47] They could care less they could care
[02:53:49] less about the remaining enemies.
[02:53:51] Hence why we looted a god kapaga
[02:53:55] when the battle finished.
[02:53:56] I just loot goblins now. It it really
[02:54:00] helped talaga like understand your
[02:54:01] action and bonus action. It led me to
[02:54:04] reading more about like the [ __ ] that I
[02:54:07] can do and I finally know what reckless
[02:54:11] attack is and then like yeah
[02:54:14] games.
[02:54:17] That's why your character in BG3 should
[02:54:18] also be a wild magic.
[02:54:21] Okay.
[02:54:22] What a wild magic
[02:54:26] base. Oh. Oh.
[02:54:27] It just you just can't it's just very
[02:54:29] random.
[02:54:31] Mr. Jeff, I I want to ask
[02:54:34] for the
[02:54:36] Okay, cuz I got the feat of know weapon
[02:54:39] master. So there's a minus five. What
[02:54:41] happens when I get the natural 20? Minus
[02:54:43] paba or I just take it as the natural 20
[02:54:46] since it's a crit or what?
[02:54:52] Oh, I never actually thought of
[02:54:54] a back and a blank.
[02:54:56] I believe you still crit cuz that would
[02:55:01] if you always subtract.
[02:55:03] That is true. That is true.
[02:55:05] Wait, what are we talking about?
[02:55:07] I'm asking about the great weapon master
[02:55:09] fleet. Like if I crit, mama minus ba
[02:55:13] yung five or like I we take it as the
[02:55:15] crit minus paramus par five but it's
[02:55:18] still a crit.
[02:55:20] Ah on paper it's 15 but it's a natural
[02:55:24] 20 paran.
[02:55:26] Yep.
[02:55:27] Okay.
[02:55:29] Excuse me. Sorry.
[02:55:32] Magic table.
[02:55:33] Although it also depends on how the DM
[02:55:37] takes what the natural 20 is. See if it
[02:55:39] normally if it's a natural 20 it's an
[02:55:42] automatic success regardless of what the
[02:55:44] total number is.
[02:55:46] Ah okay.
[02:55:47] So it depends on
[02:55:47] Is that how you take it Mr. Jeff?
[02:55:53] Hold on.
[02:55:55] Okay.
[02:55:58] Oh my god. Another butthole.
[02:56:03] And
[02:56:05] I was going to say balls, but he doesn't
[02:56:07] he doesn't have any balls anymore.
[02:56:10] He said, "No, he's neutered."
[02:56:14] No more balls for him.
[02:56:16] No more.
[02:56:16] The sacks are there.
[02:56:20] But the balls aren't
[02:56:22] the heart. The orange heartto
[02:56:25] presto. Presto.
[02:56:28] All right. It's a bit vague cuz as it
[02:56:31] stands, what can happen is you crit with
[02:56:34] a natural 20, but say the target has a
[02:56:37] really high AC. Even if you crit, you
[02:56:41] would take the the penalty of a negative
[02:56:43] of a minus five, which means
[02:56:48] attack role mo, but that kind so you
[02:56:51] could potentially miss regardless, but
[02:56:54] that potentially negates
[02:56:55] the natural
[02:56:56] um the or the
[02:56:59] the fact that crit. So, we're going to
[02:57:01] take it now.
[02:57:04] Um, with the natural 20,
[02:57:07] you hit regardless cuz it is a crit.
[02:57:12] So, I'll allow that cuz it's a bit vague
[02:57:15] and weird na cuz that would mean that if
[02:57:19] you take the great rapid master, you'll
[02:57:20] never
[02:57:21] you'll never
[02:57:23] against high AC and I don't like that.
[02:57:27] Okay. Okay.
[02:57:28] So, ignore I guess penalty
[02:57:31] when you not 20 because not 20 hits
[02:57:34] regardless of the penalty.
[02:57:36] Okay. Thank you.
[02:57:39] Okay. Are we ready?
[02:57:41] Oh, wait. My camera.
[02:57:43] I am. brother.
[02:57:46] So, as in for the night
[02:57:49] and the new dawn greets you, as morning
[02:57:53] comes around once again, uh you are back
[02:57:56] in the forest traveling towards the
[02:57:59] ruins. Um a third of the way through
[02:58:03] now, I mean twothirds of the way through
[02:58:06] now. Um you feel the forest changing
[02:58:11] here. It gets deeper and wilder here,
[02:58:13] but you see more evidences of like um
[02:58:19] uh fashioned stone and eroded uh
[02:58:23] structures here and there. Um so you get
[02:58:25] the sense that you're nearing the ruins
[02:58:27] as it begins to rain
[02:58:30] around and the forest slips into a
[02:58:33] dimmer and darker
[02:58:35] um
[02:58:37] part of the day. Um, everyone give me a
[02:58:40] survival check.
[02:58:45] I hate this stupid ass chick.
[02:58:49] One
[02:58:51] plus
[02:58:54] um 21.
[02:58:55] Okay. Well, I got a
[02:59:00] not with that attitude.
[02:59:04] Not with that attitude.
[02:59:10] We have to because this is like Pepper's
[02:59:12] only session for now, right? So,
[02:59:15] a
[02:59:15] don't worry.
[02:59:18] Hey.
[02:59:19] Um, so eventually uh with your roles and
[02:59:22] me 181 1921. Okay. Um, you aren't much
[02:59:27] help with this.
[02:59:31] Okay.
[02:59:32] Essentially, it would be Poppy who
[02:59:35] luckily stumbles upon the trail of
[02:59:37] stones leading to the grander ruins
[02:59:40] ahead. As the three of uh as the six of
[02:59:43] you finally come upon
[02:59:46] um the be uh visible beginnings of a
[02:59:51] castle courtyard
[02:59:56] and moving towards
[02:59:59] um transitioning from the deeper parts
[03:00:01] of the wilderness into a more um
[03:00:05] fortified structure, stone and erosion.
[03:00:08] You find a place just
[03:00:12] Engulfed and overtaken by nature, wedged
[03:00:15] deep into the ground as parts of the
[03:00:19] ruins burrow into warren of tunnels
[03:00:23] um and elapidated
[03:00:27] um disrepair
[03:00:30] um in all directions. But you get the
[03:00:32] sense that you can take three
[03:00:36] um three routes in this crossroads where
[03:00:41] you stand because the ruins is
[03:00:44] the ruins is uh of course unknown to you
[03:00:47] currently and it would be expectedly big
[03:00:51] but you don't know how much of it you
[03:00:54] can actually access when you go inside.
[03:00:58] Um but you get the general sense that
[03:01:01] any parts of these entrances anyway will
[03:01:03] lead to the same place. So um these are
[03:01:07] the paths accessible to you. Where would
[03:01:10] you like to go?
[03:01:19] Well, where would you guys want to go?
[03:01:21] I'm not very familiar with these kinds
[03:01:23] of places.
[03:01:25] Robot with experience before. I think
[03:01:27] Tess I think Tess I think we should go
[03:01:30] from left to right again.
[03:01:33] Uh did you say that all of this lead to
[03:01:35] the same place Jeff
[03:01:39] in general? I mean like they all lead
[03:01:41] into the ruins. You just don't know how
[03:01:42] expansive the ruins is. Parts of it
[03:01:44] would probably collapsed um inaccessible
[03:01:47] blocked off.
[03:01:50] Um
[03:01:51] I like the one.
[03:01:52] It generally will take you to the same
[03:01:56] area just in different vantage points or
[03:01:59] different
[03:02:00] Oh,
[03:02:01] so we should divide.
[03:02:03] Hear me out. Hear senpai out. Divide and
[03:02:07] conquer. There's six of us. Three paths
[03:02:09] to each path. Hh.
[03:02:13] Sure.
[03:02:13] It leads to
[03:02:14] in an in a very unfamiliar place. I not
[03:02:18] very comfortable with splitting paths.
[03:02:20] This was Bre talking, not all.
[03:02:23] Oh, okay. Uh,
[03:02:28] well, that's my stand. That's my stand.
[03:02:31] To be fair, it would be it would be more
[03:02:33] fun if we could explore each one.
[03:02:35] Yeah.
[03:02:35] Yeah,
[03:02:36] we can.
[03:02:37] Yeah,
[03:02:38] since we have time to explore each
[03:02:41] though.
[03:02:42] Yeah.
[03:02:43] Although
[03:02:44] it's going to be, you know, there's
[03:02:47] going to be downsides to it as well,
[03:02:49] but I would love to split up. Yeah.
[03:02:52] Yeah. Me because I was thinking um they
[03:02:55] since they will lead to the same place
[03:02:58] eventually.
[03:03:00] Could we could do that
[03:03:03] later if if if it's okay.
[03:03:06] Okay. Who takes?
[03:03:07] Okay. Let us talk about it as our
[03:03:09] characters. All right, one last
[03:03:11] going with this.
[03:03:12] One last thing just before
[03:03:14] splitting up the party is a very
[03:03:17] straightforward way to a TPK.
[03:03:22] But that's just me talking. That's just
[03:03:25] me talking. But it's fun.
[03:03:27] It's fun, right?
[03:03:29] Oh, for sure. Our merciful DM wouldn't,
[03:03:32] you know, kill us.
[03:03:40] Silence.
[03:03:43] Okay, let's vote.
[03:03:44] Who wants to split up? Who wants to go
[03:03:47] together?
[03:03:50] Split up.
[03:03:51] Yeah.
[03:03:52] Okay.
[03:03:52] Raise your raise your foot if you want
[03:03:54] to split up.
[03:03:56] Okay. This is all we're talking
[03:03:58] number one.
[03:04:00] Voting as Zavagara. He'd probably want
[03:04:02] to split up, you know.
[03:04:05] What?
[03:04:07] Yeah, I also want that's a majority to
[03:04:09] split up. So
[03:04:10] yeah, the left
[03:04:14] what
[03:04:15] going to the left?
[03:04:16] Left.
[03:04:19] I like the left. Tic will go to the
[03:04:21] left.
[03:04:22] Tic and
[03:04:23] well, I think I'll go I'll be going Mr.
[03:04:26] Tess then.
[03:04:27] Y
[03:04:28] and in the middle
[03:04:31] down the middle stairs.
[03:04:33] Who's going with all
[03:04:35] Miss Poy?
[03:04:36] I would go with all
[03:04:40] mind.
[03:04:42] So I guess we go right.
[03:04:45] Poppy to the right stick.
[03:04:48] Before we leave, I'm going to I'm going
[03:04:50] to go to Poppy and I'm going to give her
[03:04:52] an uh resilience potion. Oh,
[03:04:55] this one. This one. I remember this one.
[03:04:59] Thank you very much.
[03:05:00] You drink it if you think you're in
[03:05:02] danger.
[03:05:04] Thank you. I will soon remember that
[03:05:07] the six of you part ways momentarily as
[03:05:11] whatever diverging road you take you
[03:05:14] know will take you in the same ruins
[03:05:15] below just in different vantage points
[03:05:18] um based on the structure um of where
[03:05:21] it's heading down or heading deeper
[03:05:24] actually
[03:05:26] uh we can start with the middle road as
[03:05:31] Alrich and Zavagar the two of you follow
[03:05:34] the stairs leading down deeper into the
[03:05:37] ruins, you find a winding staircase and
[03:05:42] a dim tunnel stretching out before you.
[03:05:46] Um, and as you're walking into the
[03:05:48] tunnels, you begin to hear
[03:06:04] I start to cover my ears.
[03:06:07] Start to cover your ears.
[03:06:08] Okay.
[03:06:09] And as you're paranoid,
[03:06:10] you already
[03:06:12] cover your ears. You hear actually you
[03:06:16] don't hear because you cover your ears
[03:06:19] something snap and give me a dexterity
[03:06:22] saving throw both of you.
[03:06:24] God damn. I'm bad at these man.
[03:06:28] Dexterity saving throw.
[03:06:33] Four.
[03:06:36] Oh my god.
[03:06:36] I got an eight.
[03:06:40] Oh, it's a TPK.
[03:06:42] Oh my god.
[03:06:45] And as the two of you cover your ears,
[03:06:48] unaware that um your senses of hearing
[03:06:52] could actually give you clues of your
[03:06:54] surroundings for any potential traps,
[03:06:57] you miss. Oh my gosh.
[03:06:58] The vibrations across the air as the
[03:07:01] wall uh the uh the stone on the floor in
[03:07:05] front of you move and shift
[03:07:09] and something behind you as the wall
[03:07:11] collapses.
[03:07:13] The um a heavy chunk of the wall falls
[03:07:17] forward hitting the both of you
[03:07:19] enclosing you in a slope. Both of you
[03:07:21] take
[03:07:22] Oh no.
[03:07:24] 11 points of damage as you get crushed
[03:07:29] as the walls behind you and beside you
[03:07:32] shift and kind of crushes you forward
[03:07:36] where the floor has now vanished and is
[03:07:39] taking you straight down a slope. The
[03:07:42] the two of you fall into this medieval
[03:07:45] slide, stone slide deeper down the
[03:07:49] canal. uh where water splashes against
[03:07:52] your face as you the two of you just
[03:07:55] carine down into this tunnel and
[03:07:59] you fall into a ravine deep in the
[03:08:03] underground.
[03:08:04] Oh, that this looks great.
[03:08:07] Goodbye, Alrich.
[03:08:10] Was ready for us to fail.
[03:08:11] It was nice knowing you guys. You look
[03:08:14] up view and you realize the walls on
[03:08:17] either side of this narrow ravine
[03:08:21] um are 80 feet high.
[03:08:25] Oh. and look by your feet where the
[03:08:28] shallows of the water lap against your
[03:08:31] your your legs. You see the armors and
[03:08:35] the gear and the swords and the shields
[03:08:37] and the items left behind by the lost
[03:08:40] adventurers that have succumbed to the
[03:08:42] seeing stones ruin.
[03:08:44] Okay, after I see this, I'm going to I'm
[03:08:47] going to wave the wave my hand in front
[03:08:49] of me and cast mage armor on myself.
[03:08:55] this.
[03:08:59] He's tired.
[03:09:01] Uh, anything you like to do, Zavagar and
[03:09:03] Alic?
[03:09:04] Well, that wasn't pleasant. Mr. Zavagar,
[03:09:06] are you okay?
[03:09:09] Yeah, I'm okay. I got my trusty morning
[03:09:12] star with me. That's all I need. How
[03:09:14] about you?
[03:09:16] Well, um, I'm I'm I'm a bit hurt. That
[03:09:20] wasn't That was a unpleasant surprise,
[03:09:23] but um It seems like we are in a bit of
[03:09:26] a pickle here.
[03:09:30] Yeah. Well, at least we're alive. I
[03:09:32] guess uh we have to figure out how to
[03:09:35] get get out of this.
[03:09:37] That that would be a reasonable choice.
[03:09:39] Otherwise, we would end up the same as
[03:09:42] the people that are currently here
[03:09:46] in tuned with us. I guess um if I look
[03:09:49] forward, is this just a straight and
[03:09:51] narrow passage?
[03:09:54] Yes. It just goes on for however far you
[03:09:58] can tell.
[03:09:59] And then you said it it's like an 80
[03:10:01] foot drop.
[03:10:05] Uh it's an 80 foot drop.
[03:10:08] Yeah. So the wall scale uh roughly 80 ft
[03:10:12] above you. Yeah.
[03:10:14] Uh is it dark like pitch black?
[03:10:19] No, not really. It's dimly lit as
[03:10:21] something eerie cat. Uh, something eerie
[03:10:24] almost lights up the water um by your
[03:10:28] feet. Uh, at this point, give me a
[03:10:30] perception check or investigation side.
[03:10:32] Actually, investigation side.
[03:10:34] Oh, man. The perception was so much
[03:10:36] better.
[03:10:39] Uh, perception.
[03:10:42] Oh, 19
[03:10:46] Z. Uh, Zavagar.
[03:10:51] Oh, wait. I have a minus one. I have a
[03:10:53] minus one. 70.
[03:10:55] Three.
[03:10:56] Okay.
[03:10:57] Three.
[03:11:00] You don't see this, but All right. You
[03:11:02] see this as something in the water
[03:11:04] catches your eye. It gleams
[03:11:07] and um kind of
[03:11:11] threads your pupils with this enchanting
[03:11:15] light as in the water, a crystal glowing
[03:11:19] with faint blue light.
[03:11:28] Um,
[03:11:29] Mr. Zava, what do you think of this?
[03:11:32] What should we approach? Should we
[03:11:35] What should we do? What do you think?
[03:11:39] Well, if we're going to make progress,
[03:11:41] we better start moving, right?
[03:11:47] Um, do you approach it or
[03:11:53] Pepper, I am a squishy little baby boy
[03:11:55] and I am afraid of going first. So,
[03:11:59] you are you are
[03:12:00] I have armor. I have my mage armor on.
[03:12:05] Bro, I have a mage armor and my AC is
[03:12:07] still just 15. Okay. You I think you
[03:12:10] have 18 or 17 or something.
[03:12:12] Yeah, I got 18.
[03:12:14] Go first.
[03:12:16] Fine. Fine.
[03:12:18] Tell me where to go and I'll lead the
[03:12:19] way.
[03:12:21] Let's try it.
[03:12:23] No.
[03:12:23] What was it telling you to go?
[03:12:25] What do you do?
[03:12:30] Do you pick up the magic item or
[03:12:34] a magic item?
[03:12:36] Sure. I'll just pick it though.
[03:12:40] Take it. Nothing really happens.
[03:12:42] Although the moment you take it um you
[03:12:45] get a sense of like
[03:12:49] it it almost lifts up your spirit and
[03:12:51] makes you feel lighter than a feather.
[03:12:56] Although yet what it does as this
[03:12:58] wondrous item in your grasp is unknown
[03:13:02] to you. Um but yeah um you realize at
[03:13:06] this point this place must be littered
[03:13:09] with items and gear and wondrous things
[03:13:14] that previous travelers have have left
[03:13:17] behind.
[03:13:20] Okay. Then if that's the case, we're
[03:13:22] just going to keep trudging forward,
[03:13:23] keeping an eye out on anything that
[03:13:25] might be interesting or useful that we
[03:13:27] could salvage from the bodies.
[03:13:30] Give me a perception check, both of you,
[03:13:32] or an investment check.
[03:13:35] Can I
[03:13:37] use
[03:13:38] my good oldfashioned
[03:13:41] tights of chaos to gain advantage on
[03:13:43] this?
[03:13:45] Of course.
[03:13:46] I appreciate
[03:13:49] I am going to go make an investigation
[03:13:51] with advantage.
[03:13:53] That is a 15 minus one.
[03:13:57] 14.
[03:13:58] So, yes. What about you, Zavagar?
[03:14:01] I got 17.
[03:14:03] Hey,
[03:14:03] 17.
[03:14:05] The first thing that catches your eye,
[03:14:08] uh,
[03:14:10] hanging on like a spear jutting out of
[03:14:13] the stone wedged in the wall is a cloak
[03:14:17] that seems to billow by itself.
[03:14:19] It's my cloak of billowing.
[03:14:22] It's a cloak of billowing.
[03:14:25] We did it. Finally,
[03:14:28] it's not the billowing.
[03:14:30] Finally, my cloak of billowing.
[03:14:34] As you walk further across the space,
[03:14:38] more things begin to catch your eye. Um,
[03:14:40] with Zavagar's help, especially
[03:14:42] Zavagar's more of the one keeping an eye
[03:14:45] out here just a little bit more than
[03:14:47] you, Alic. Um, you were distracted by
[03:14:49] this seemingly sentient cloak. Um,
[03:14:52] Zavagar, you also spot uh a token on the
[03:14:56] ground. You would know this. You've
[03:14:57] encountered this before. It's a common
[03:14:59] one item
[03:15:00] called the feather token.
[03:15:03] Um, and with your rules, you also get
[03:15:09] Oh my god,
[03:15:11] I'm rich.
[03:15:12] Don't mind if I do
[03:15:16] a plus one. GREAT.
[03:15:17] OH MY GOD, THERE'S SO MUCH TO DO. DAMN.
[03:15:21] It's so Wait, it's a plus one.
[03:15:24] Yeah, it's a plus one. Great sword.
[03:15:26] That means plus one to attack. And then
[03:15:30] ring
[03:15:31] a pouch. A bag of sleep.
[03:15:33] Dude, we hit the jackpot.
[03:15:35] Dude, we hit the jackpot.
[03:15:36] Oh my god. Falling down this hole was
[03:15:38] the worst thing that's ever happened to
[03:15:40] me.
[03:15:41] You see?
[03:15:43] Oh no. Sorry. What was that? Chip. So
[03:15:46] far as your investigation checks because
[03:15:49] of Zavagar, that is all you find.
[03:15:51] I wish I hit the natural.
[03:15:52] There should be one more on the top
[03:15:53] right.
[03:15:55] Yeah, I feel like I feel like there
[03:15:56] should be one more.
[03:15:58] There's one.
[03:15:59] Maybe that's where the natural 20 get.
[03:16:01] If I feel like if I got a natural 20.
[03:16:04] Yeah.
[03:16:04] Is it the ring? You do realize that this
[03:16:06] is what Zavagar was talking about where
[03:16:08] the magic items are like abundant in
[03:16:12] this place because so many adventurers
[03:16:13] have fallen victim to this ruins.
[03:16:16] Well, Mr. Zavar,
[03:16:16] so you are now stumbling upon the loot
[03:16:19] of
[03:16:20] um groups of travelers who've died here.
[03:16:24] It seems that you were right, Mr. Zaga.
[03:16:26] This this place does seem like it would
[03:16:28] have a lot of useful items. Um, should
[03:16:31] we just gather them and dev dev all of
[03:16:34] them up when we get back to the group?
[03:16:36] If we get back to the group
[03:16:40] like the logical thing to do, but all of
[03:16:44] this loot is going to be useless if we
[03:16:46] die here.
[03:16:46] Exactly. I totally agree. Um, if you
[03:16:49] don't mind, I'd like to hold on to this
[03:16:51] crystal that I found. I still don't know
[03:16:53] what it does, but it seems like it's
[03:16:54] giving me a a good feeling in my copro.
[03:16:58] Um,
[03:17:00] Um, would you like to have the this
[03:17:03] astounding and beautiful great sword? I
[03:17:05] mean, I don't think it's your style, but
[03:17:07] it might be something you'd be
[03:17:09] interested in
[03:17:11] and replace
[03:17:13] to me.
[03:17:14] Okay, I will keep the
[03:17:17] Oh, but also this amazing and wonderful
[03:17:19] cloak that looks like you would be able
[03:17:22] to farm if you use it. Would you Would
[03:17:26] you like to have it or would you mind if
[03:17:27] I get the key, bro?
[03:17:30] of the story.
[03:17:31] Okay, while while you guys are diving up
[03:17:32] the loot and the spoils of war, um we're
[03:17:36] going to go back up the surface.
[03:17:39] Um we're going to follow
[03:17:42] uh first
[03:17:43] uh Tess and Odi.
[03:17:51] Tess, you go to these parts of the ruins
[03:17:54] and um essentially
[03:17:57] it just go it just stretches on and on.
[03:18:01] But from this side
[03:18:03] you only you hear silence and you the
[03:18:11] song that's beginning to like um that
[03:18:14] was almost beginning to lure you in is
[03:18:18] seemingly more distant from this side of
[03:18:21] the room.
[03:18:26] This is 40 times bigger as
[03:18:30] it is a very vast place. Mr. Tess, uh,
[03:18:34] shall we move forward?
[03:18:36] Well, that we should. We don't want to
[03:18:38] be left behind by the others.
[03:18:48] This time go back to Yeah,
[03:18:51] actually at the the entrance where we
[03:18:53] came from.
[03:18:54] Can I ritual cast alarm?
[03:18:58] Sure. Yeah.
[03:18:59] Okay,
[03:19:00] you go ahead and do that. Uh you would
[03:19:02] have the time as you're exploring this
[03:19:05] dungeon. Um this time around though, we
[03:19:08] go back to
[03:19:10] a different vantage point. Similarly,
[03:19:13] Poppy and Sheamus, you go to the right
[03:19:15] side of the ruins, leaving you to a
[03:19:18] deeper um part of the
[03:19:23] of the Warren or of the tunnel system.
[03:19:26] And this part of the ruins, you do begin
[03:19:29] to hear
[03:19:31] um
[03:19:37] shove the mic to your mouth, Jeff. Shove
[03:19:39] it into your mouth. It's still not It's
[03:19:41] still nothing. Still nothing. We still
[03:19:42] like getting anything.
[03:19:47] Oh crap.
[03:19:48] Can you not hear it? The echo
[03:19:49] just intermittently.
[03:19:52] There we go.
[03:19:54] It's kind of there. Yeah,
[03:19:56] it's there, but it cuts out from time to
[03:19:57] time.
[03:19:59] Isn't the same?
[03:20:04] Okay.
[03:20:05] We love it. We love it. The two of you
[03:20:08] hear the music. Um, it isn't distant
[03:20:11] from where you're coming from.
[03:20:14] Um, and you come upon an entrance or a
[03:20:17] passage in the ruins and you can hear
[03:20:21] the song growing louder and louder.
[03:20:25] At the same time, Tessic and Odi, you
[03:20:29] enter the other side
[03:20:31] of this cavern, of this chasm. And from
[03:20:34] the other side, you lock eyes with
[03:20:37] Sheamus and Poppy. And above them, you
[03:20:40] see five figures with wings.
[03:20:48] There he goes.
[03:20:49] The grows louder and louder. Everyone
[03:20:52] roll initiative. Holy [ __ ]
[03:20:54] Oh my god.
[03:20:56] Can I put the clay things in my ears?
[03:20:58] Yeah, that I want to do the same.
[03:21:01] But
[03:21:04] it so
[03:21:05] [ __ ]
[03:21:06] You're going to have to use a bonus
[03:21:07] action to do that.
[03:21:08] Oh [ __ ]
[03:21:09] Oh,
[03:21:10] don't worry guys.
[03:21:11] I know.
[03:21:12] Wait, who's who's in trouble right now?
[03:21:15] Just just us four.
[03:21:16] Four of us. Oh,
[03:21:18] the four Oh, wait. You guys are
[03:21:19] together?
[03:21:21] Yeah.
[03:21:23] same place. Okay,
[03:21:25] we're in the [ __ ] hole, so you know.
[03:21:27] Yeah, I MEAN OH, NO. I think they're
[03:21:30] they're they're right above us. I
[03:21:31] imagine going to swoop in with this bill
[03:21:34] based on
[03:21:35] I got a
[03:21:40] There we go.
[03:21:42] The map
[03:21:43] based on this map. We're probably down
[03:21:45] below music. So, Tess and OD, you are
[03:21:49] here on this side. Excuse me.
[03:21:52] Oh, I just closed mirror. Wait,
[03:21:56] sorry.
[03:21:57] Oh god. Is this a heart?
[03:21:59] It is.
[03:22:00] Did you get L?
[03:22:01] Holy [ __ ]
[03:22:02] It's BG3 all over again.
[03:22:07] Where's the child?
[03:22:08] Lens, what did you get?
[03:22:09] Oh yeah. Uh 16.
[03:22:11] Oh no. 16 + 1 17.
[03:22:17] Yeah, please record it.
[03:22:19] What is happening? Why can't I move
[03:22:20] Tesset?
[03:22:22] I'm invincible.
[03:22:29] Actually, Jeff
[03:22:31] background.
[03:22:34] Yeah, I'm trying to get
[03:22:37] Hold on.
[03:22:39] It's cooking.
[03:22:41] There was another one here.
[03:22:50] Oh, there I thought there was five.
[03:22:54] Okay. Um,
[03:22:57] sorry, not five, just four.
[03:23:00] Oh,
[03:23:03] [ __ ] I don't have rage [ __ ]
[03:23:05] There we go. Um, and then Poppy. And
[03:23:09] why would you have rage? famous
[03:23:15] spawn right underneath the singing
[03:23:18] harpies.
[03:23:19] What?
[03:23:21] Oh,
[03:23:22] and oh yeah, we are underneath.
[03:23:27] Zavagar, you are
[03:23:30] unfortunate
[03:23:32] range characters.
[03:23:35] Oh no.
[03:23:36] All right, initiative order. Oh, wait.
[03:23:39] Are we also think me and Savic are also
[03:23:41] rolling?
[03:23:44] Um, yes, you are. Everyone's rolling.
[03:23:47] Okay.
[03:23:47] Okay. Tell me.
[03:23:49] I got a 20 30 20.
[03:23:52] Okay.
[03:23:53] Who has higher decks?
[03:23:55] Uh, I think S
[03:23:57] What's your deck?
[03:23:58] What's your deck?
[03:23:59] I'm
[03:24:01] plus one lang. Okay. I got her
[03:24:05] and then a 10.
[03:24:08] Uh, place yourselves.
[03:24:09] If we shout, do do all Alaric and
[03:24:12] Zavagar heroes. No,
[03:24:14] you don't know where they are.
[03:24:15] You don't know where we are.
[03:24:17] Oh, right. If ever. If ever.
[03:24:19] Probably. I don't know. Just
[03:24:23] don't know that yet. But essentially.
[03:24:25] Okay.
[03:24:27] Okay. Top of the round, we have Alrich.
[03:24:31] What would you like to do?
[03:24:33] Do I do I even hear a commotion up top?
[03:24:37] You begin to hear the songs of
[03:24:40] um something you may or may not be aware
[03:24:43] that exists. Um but you hear something
[03:24:46] above mainly up above. Um actually
[03:24:51] the two of you will hold your turns
[03:24:53] until battle start because you don't yet
[03:24:55] know what's happening. But you will be
[03:24:58] in initiative order just in case. And
[03:25:00] you were currently uninvolved at the
[03:25:03] moment. OD, it's your turn.
[03:25:06] What would you like to do?
[03:25:10] Jump over the
[03:25:11] essent.
[03:25:17] And you immediately register the fouries
[03:25:21] as threats above them. As at first you
[03:25:24] thought they were statues melded into
[03:25:26] the stone until their wings
[03:25:29] flapped in the air.
[03:25:31] They begin to ascend right above Sheamus
[03:25:35] and Poppy. What would you like to do,
[03:25:37] Cody?
[03:25:45] Jump over the castle.
[03:25:49] It's
[03:25:50] notina, but I don't think I can.
[03:25:52] For everyone else, so for the brevity of
[03:25:55] combat, please prepare your turns. Do
[03:25:57] what it is you want the consequences.
[03:26:02] Okay. Okay.
[03:26:04] Let's go.
[03:26:07] So, I would like to
[03:26:09] So, out of panic, I reach out for a
[03:26:12] javelin and uh recklessly attack towards
[03:26:17] the one in between.
[03:26:20] Sheamus and Bobby.
[03:26:22] Add it. Please roll to attack.
[03:26:24] I'll just pull out this javelin from
[03:26:26] behind it.
[03:26:30] I swear if you enroll, one one of us is
[03:26:32] going to get get damaged.
[03:26:35] So that's a 16 to hit.
[03:26:39] 16 hits. Please roll damage as you
[03:26:45] then. Uh,
[03:26:48] is everyone playing battle music?
[03:26:50] Yes.
[03:26:51] Yo.
[03:26:51] Yes.
[03:26:52] Nice.
[03:26:56] So that's a
[03:27:00] five piercing damage.
[03:27:03] that's a five piercing damage.
[03:27:03] Five piercing damage. All right.
[03:27:06] Sorry, before you continue, uh, do I
[03:27:09] still have the long bow from my previous
[03:27:10] mission? No more.
[03:27:12] Yeah.
[03:27:14] Okay. Okay. Uh,
[03:27:17] okay.
[03:27:17] That will five piercing damage. Your
[03:27:20] javelin pierces the harpy's wing against
[03:27:24] the stone.
[03:27:27] It screams and wriggles and tries to
[03:27:30] pull out its wing, but it's currently
[03:27:32] pinned on the stone.
[03:27:34] Okay, good. Uh, I move here and then
[03:27:39] like questiona. Can I how how far can I
[03:27:43] jump if ever?
[03:27:46] Asking palang. Not going to do it yet.
[03:27:49] Sorry.
[03:27:50] Yeah,
[03:27:50] if you jump
[03:27:53] if if it's not yet.
[03:27:56] Um,
[03:27:58] do it if you want.
[03:28:00] Okay, I'm not risking that. No, I I
[03:28:02] peered down below. Do I see them?
[03:28:07] Uh, you peer down below. And at this
[03:28:08] point, Alrich and Zavagar, you do see OD
[03:28:12] looking up from below. What do you say,
[03:28:14] OD? You can scream if you want.
[03:28:21] Okay. Wait. Uh,
[03:28:23] guys, are you okay down there?
[03:28:28] Hello. Hello.
[03:28:31] Hello.
[03:28:31] Do we hear it? Does it echo?
[03:28:33] Yes, he's here.
[03:28:34] Miss Audi, we're down here.
[03:28:38] That's all I say.
[03:28:39] You okay? There are harpies up here.
[03:28:42] We found hella loot.
[03:28:44] We found hella loot.
[03:28:46] Good for you. There are harpies up here.
[03:28:48] Okay.
[03:28:49] Okay, that's my turn.
[03:28:51] Good luck. There's not much we could do.
[03:28:54] Uh, give me a charisma saving throw. Oh,
[03:29:00] this is not good.
[03:29:01] Oh, no.
[03:29:01] Oh, wait. Charisma. Okay, never mind.
[03:29:05] Charisma is a plus six, [ __ ]
[03:29:07] Uh, meanwhile, OD, what would you like
[03:29:09] to do?
[03:29:10] I'm good. I'm good. That's all.
[03:29:12] I got
[03:29:12] Next up will be the harpy that you
[03:29:14] attacked.
[03:29:16] It's going to
[03:29:18] attack Poppy within its reach twice.
[03:29:24] Twice. Um that is a natural one at
[03:29:27] first. So it's still pinned against the
[03:29:29] wall.
[03:29:31] It kind of scratches um the stone unable
[03:29:35] to reach you. The second attack
[03:29:38] is a natural five
[03:29:40] with uh OD's javelin pinning it against
[03:29:43] the stone wall. It's unable to get a
[03:29:46] good reach on you. Poppy, you're too
[03:29:48] short. So um the harpy is to attack you.
[03:29:52] Um, that will be the harpy's turn um for
[03:29:56] its action.
[03:30:02] Hold on.
[03:30:08] Miss Poppy, are you okay?
[03:30:09] Puppy's turn. Next up, Poppy, it's your
[03:30:11] turn. What would you like to do?
[03:30:13] I would shout to Miss Aie. Oh,
[03:30:16] fortunately, I'm short enough. I'm still
[03:30:18] okay.
[03:30:22] And then I will uh try to attack the
[03:30:25] pinned the harpy.
[03:30:27] Go ahead.
[03:30:30] That is uh is that an 9 + 6?
[03:30:34] Uh
[03:30:34] that hits 15.
[03:30:36] Okay. 15. So I can I use a I can use a
[03:30:40] short bow, right? Or this one. Is the
[03:30:43] distance okay or is it melee? Um, it's
[03:30:46] W's, but I'm going to say since
[03:30:48] technically you are in melee range of
[03:30:50] it, even though the harpy can't reach
[03:30:52] you because it's pinned, you would have
[03:30:54] disadvantage. So, you would have to move
[03:30:55] away in order to use a range attack with
[03:30:58] that.
[03:30:59] But I can hit it with the melee.
[03:31:02] Yes.
[03:31:03] Okay, I'll try with the
[03:31:08] uh Okay.
[03:31:11] Uh, is it okay if I move first to
[03:31:16] Okay. Uh, is it okay if I move first to
[03:31:16] like um behind this? Maybe that. Okay.
[03:31:22] And then I will try to shoot an arrow to
[03:31:26] it.
[03:31:28] Uhhuh.
[03:31:30] Go ahead. Uh oh. You move away. It's
[03:31:34] going to get an opportunity of attack
[03:31:35] against you.
[03:31:37] Oh, it's okay. What is it? 18 plus
[03:31:42] Oh, damn.
[03:31:44] You take um
[03:31:48] is it?
[03:31:54] You take uh three points of slashing
[03:31:57] damage.
[03:31:58] Three is okay. Okay. And then Okay. I
[03:32:02] shoot it and I get eight damage.
[03:32:07] Okay. Huh? It's damaged.
[03:32:10] What?
[03:32:11] Shoot it in the chest.
[03:32:14] And then um after that I it I will
[03:32:18] attempt to hide.
[03:32:19] Nice.
[03:32:20] Where would you like to hide? Are you
[03:32:22] going to hide behind that uh kind of
[03:32:24] like this? Yeah.
[03:32:27] Uh give me a stealth check.
[03:32:32] Stealth plus
[03:32:34] 20. Natural 20.
[03:32:37] Nice.
[03:32:38] Vanish from everyone's view.
[03:32:40] Oh my gosh, she's invisible.
[03:32:42] Nice.
[03:32:42] She's invisible yet, right? Alrich, what
[03:32:44] did you get?
[03:32:45] I rolled the 15 charisma.
[03:32:48] All right. Um, the crystal in your hand
[03:32:51] pulses and you immediately attune to it.
[03:32:55] Wow.
[03:32:56] Oh,
[03:32:56] okay. So, what what does it do?
[03:32:58] For the purposes of this, it is its
[03:33:00] name. It whispers its name in your in
[03:33:03] your subconscious and you you suddenly
[03:33:06] know what to call it. It is called
[03:33:08] flightart.
[03:33:10] Does it gr the flight spell?
[03:33:11] And as a bonus action, you can give
[03:33:14] yourself a flying speed of 40 ft for one
[03:33:16] minute.
[03:33:17] Just myself.
[03:33:19] Yes, you.
[03:33:25] But that will be on your turn if you can
[03:33:27] mull that on your own. The next up will
[03:33:29] be the second harpy's turn. This harpy
[03:33:34] is going to sing.
[03:33:37] Oh boy.
[03:33:38] As the first heart to sing, everyone
[03:33:40] give me a wisdom saving throw.
[03:33:42] Oh my god.
[03:33:46] Oh, there we go.
[03:33:51] Watch me be lured again. That's a 17.
[03:34:00] Yikes.
[03:34:01] That's a 15.
[03:34:04] Okay.
[03:34:08] All right.
[03:34:11] Uh oh. Wow. Zavagar, you are the only
[03:34:14] one affected currently as you are
[03:34:18] compelled
[03:34:19] to go up even though you don't know how.
[03:34:23] What is wrong with all of your heart?
[03:34:26] This enchanting haunting melody. You
[03:34:28] want to pursue it and you kind of start
[03:34:31] clawing against the stone walls,
[03:34:34] desperately trying to reach it, but you
[03:34:36] just don't know how. Um, that will be
[03:34:41] that harpy's turn. Next up, we have
[03:34:43] Sheamus. It's your turn. What do you do?
[03:34:45] Okay. Which which one you sing?
[03:34:51] The one on top. Uh the one on top at the
[03:34:53] very top.
[03:34:55] I'm going to cast silence around me.
[03:34:58] Uh silence is a long casting spell.
[03:35:03] Unless you have a scroll for it.
[03:35:07] Yes, I have a spell for it.
[03:35:09] No, a scroll.
[03:35:10] Oh, a scroll.
[03:35:13] It's casting type one action.
[03:35:16] You just won't cast it as a ritual. So,
[03:35:18] yeah, you can cast silence. Yeah, I'm
[03:35:21] going to cast it like me in the center
[03:35:24] and then the 20 foot radius. Yeah,
[03:35:26] around me.
[03:35:28] He's grabbing the silent shield from the
[03:35:30] other
[03:35:32] dragging it over.
[03:35:39] Silence on yourself. That's a 20 foot
[03:35:42] radius. So
[03:35:44] Oh, nice.
[03:35:46] Nice.
[03:35:46] There we go.
[03:35:47] Centered on yourself. I'm sorry, Lance,
[03:35:50] for what I'm about to do.
[03:35:51] You said centered on yourself, correct?
[03:35:53] Yes.
[03:35:55] Okay, good.
[03:35:56] And then suddenly all sound is sucked
[03:36:00] into a vacuum
[03:36:02] uh around you. By the way, you cannot
[03:36:04] move silence. So there it shall stay.
[03:36:07] Okay. Okay. But then I will move. Oh
[03:36:09] [ __ ]
[03:36:12] I think it's
[03:36:14] I think the silence field is attached to
[03:36:16] Sheamus. Yeah, it's a target.
[03:36:19] He is the silence.
[03:36:20] He is the silence.
[03:36:22] And then I'm going to move here.
[03:36:26] Uhhuh.
[03:36:26] And
[03:36:27] you guys are very brave for standing
[03:36:29] right next to an 80 foot drop.
[03:36:31] I know, right? I know, right?
[03:36:34] Okay, fine. Because you said that here.
[03:36:40] You lose.
[03:36:41] Wait. Yeah, that's my turn. Oh, no.
[03:36:44] Wait.
[03:36:47] [ __ ] Never mind. I can't cast the Yeah,
[03:36:49] harpy number three. Harpy number three.
[03:36:52] I'm going to make the same perception
[03:36:53] check. Okay.
[03:36:55] Um, harpy number three is going to flap
[03:36:59] its wings. Is going to fly. Oops. Going
[03:37:03] to fly next to Poppy. Nope. Can't see
[03:37:06] Poppy. She's hidden
[03:37:10] here and fly out of the silence. um
[03:37:15] which she's discerned the the edges of
[03:37:17] and she's going to start singing as
[03:37:19] well. Everyone make another wisdom
[03:37:21] saving throw.
[03:37:22] Oh my god.
[03:37:24] Oh my god.
[03:37:26] Am I included?
[03:37:27] Why is still spinning? I'm sorry.
[03:37:30] Oh wait, are we included?
[03:37:32] Poppy and Sheamus.
[03:37:34] Okay.
[03:37:34] Okay.
[03:37:36] Thank God.
[03:37:38] Wisdom saving throw is
[03:37:42] bro. I got a nine.
[03:37:45] Oh no.
[03:37:50] Well, I was planning on flying anyway.
[03:37:54] Uh chat
[03:37:56] uh wisdom saves on the chat.
[03:38:00] 15 orich
[03:38:03] nine. All you are compelled to follow
[03:38:05] the haunting melody up towards the
[03:38:08] source.
[03:38:10] Um, but that will be this harpiece turn.
[03:38:13] Uh, as they are singing. Next up, we
[03:38:16] have Tess. It's your turn. What would
[03:38:18] you like to do?
[03:38:19] Okay. Um, I'm going to apologize, Lens.
[03:38:23] Uh, as an action, I'm going to cast
[03:38:26] Ferifier.
[03:38:28] Oh my god.
[03:38:28] With I'm going to use Ellie as the
[03:38:30] center point just to
[03:38:32] right there. That's
[03:38:34] How would Ellie have gotten
[03:38:37] over there? Now I'm just going to I'm
[03:38:39] just going to use her as I know as a
[03:38:41] center point. So you know the 20 foot
[03:38:43] radius.
[03:38:45] How big? 20 foot, right?
[03:38:47] Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
[03:38:48] Same. Oh. Oh,
[03:38:50] actually same radius. So
[03:38:53] there you go.
[03:38:54] Okay. Now I'm going to take Ellie back
[03:38:57] and then
[03:38:58] is silence. The other one is very fire.
[03:39:02] Verify.
[03:39:04] Mhm. And then I'm going to instruct
[03:39:05] Ellie to fly over there.
[03:39:08] It can fly. That's so cool.
[03:39:11] It It can
[03:39:14] fly.
[03:39:15] Yeah.
[03:39:16] Even surprised.
[03:39:20] It can fly.
[03:39:26] It It has a speed of
[03:39:29] At least can't fly.
[03:39:32] So, so just for just for flavor, instead
[03:39:35] of flying, it's just going to jump
[03:39:36] really far.
[03:39:38] Floats like people.
[03:39:39] Yeah,
[03:39:40] it's going to go over here
[03:39:43] and then it's going to try. Oh, wait.
[03:39:46] How many? 5 10 30. So, it's just going
[03:39:49] to be right here.
[03:39:51] Can it still cast you force damage? Can
[03:39:53] it still attack?
[03:39:56] Uh, right after turn.
[03:39:59] Uh, I believe so. Ellie just moved
[03:40:01] anyway.
[03:40:01] No, I mean like since she's in silence
[03:40:04] or
[03:40:05] Oh, yeah. Yeah, definitely. It doesn't
[03:40:07] need a verbal or sound.
[03:40:10] I'm going to roll. Oh, that's a seven
[03:40:12] plus. It's a That's an 11 hit.
[03:40:15] 11 just hits. Who are you hitting?
[03:40:18] Uh, this guy. Rex to the spiritual
[03:40:21] weapon.
[03:40:22] All right. Roll for damage.
[03:40:26] Which harpy you singing right now, Jeff?
[03:40:29] Uh this one at the top and this one
[03:40:32] here.
[03:40:33] Two of them.
[03:40:35] Yeah, it's a it's a tree. Three force
[03:40:37] damage on this guy.
[03:40:40] Three force damage. The heartbeat that's
[03:40:42] pinned to the wall takes um three force
[03:40:46] damage and part of their feathers just
[03:40:48] like shed. They're still alive. Godamn.
[03:40:56] What the [ __ ] What the [ __ ] was that
[03:40:59] music? I thought it was mine. I thought
[03:41:02] my background music for some reason.
[03:41:04] Sorry, my m my mouse cursor disappeared
[03:41:07] just from random.
[03:41:09] I thought the harpy was about to have a
[03:41:10] flashback.
[03:41:15] I'm so sorry.
[03:41:16] Things never used to be like this.
[03:41:21] I thought it was some kind of intro
[03:41:24] music or something.
[03:41:26] after this harpy, the fourth harpy is
[03:41:29] going to attempt to sing as well. Once
[03:41:31] again, everyone except uh Olrich,
[03:41:35] Zavagar, Poppy, and Sheamus. So that's
[03:41:37] just Tessic and OD give me a wisdom
[03:41:40] saving throw.
[03:41:42] Guys, this is not good.
[03:41:43] Oh my god,
[03:41:44] guys. This is not good. His name is Joe,
[03:41:46] right?
[03:41:52] Guys, it's it's a one.
[03:41:54] Guys, this is not good, guys.
[03:41:57] A not one OD.
[03:41:59] Yeah.
[03:41:59] No.
[03:42:01] All right. With a not one OD, you are
[03:42:04] compelled to follow the song and pursue
[03:42:07] it until
[03:42:08] Oh my god.
[03:42:10] Goodbye.
[03:42:11] Jeff has a charm effect. You have to
[03:42:14] turn towards it.
[03:42:18] On your turn, you have to move towards
[03:42:19] it. Zavagar,
[03:42:21] you were also incapacitated. Zavagar,
[03:42:23] you're just like clawing, pawing at the
[03:42:26] walls that goes in.
[03:42:27] Who is singing? Who is singing?
[03:42:29] this fight.
[03:42:30] The harpy at the bottom.
[03:42:33] Okay. The most bottom.
[03:42:35] Wait, do I move now or not yet?
[03:42:37] On your turn. But Zavagar is
[03:42:40] incapacitated. So, and you can't move
[03:42:43] anyway. So, you're just going to stay
[03:42:45] there. Alrich, you are incapacitated,
[03:42:48] but you are you can move. What do you
[03:42:50] want to do?
[03:42:53] Uh, I don't know if I want to do this. I
[03:42:56] can I activate what is it called again?
[03:42:58] The flight thingy.
[03:43:00] Flight heart.
[03:43:01] Okay. Can I activate the flight heart?
[03:43:02] And will I
[03:43:06] will I I don't know how I'm going to do
[03:43:08] this, but Can I take Zavagar with me up?
[03:43:15] Give me a charisma check. Just a flat
[03:43:18] charisma check.
[03:43:19] Flat charism.
[03:43:20] Wisdom actually, not charisma.
[03:43:22] Wisdom. Oh boy. Charisma would have been
[03:43:25] so much better.
[03:43:26] You're actively fighting against the
[03:43:27] enchantment in your mind and it's
[03:43:30] already compelled you to uh approach it.
[03:43:32] You're just like
[03:43:35] um trying to regain some sense of
[03:43:37] rationality.
[03:43:38] Seven. It's a seven.
[03:43:41] Seven. Um, with a seven. Uh, no. I
[03:43:45] cannot allow you to take Zavagar with.
[03:43:47] So, it's just me. So, I'll fly I'll fly
[03:43:50] um dash with with my dash. So, that
[03:43:53] would be if if I have a 40 foot flight
[03:43:56] speed, that would should take me all the
[03:43:58] way up with a dash.
[03:43:59] Yep. So, you would go towards the harpy
[03:44:03] singing. That's
[03:44:06] uh
[03:44:06] is this a charm effect, Jeff?
[03:44:09] Yes, it is.
[03:44:10] Guys, if you if your race gives you
[03:44:12] charm immunity, please make sure that
[03:44:14] you that it's you know that
[03:44:16] cuz if we all get charmed, we're dead.
[03:44:19] Mhm.
[03:44:20] Okay. You get all the way here.
[03:44:27] It's usually the elves have germ
[03:44:29] immunity from FA ancestry. So just say
[03:44:32] just putting it out there.
[03:44:34] But that is your turn because you are
[03:44:36] incapacitive because of the song.
[03:44:38] your full movement. OD, however, you
[03:44:41] step forward and then
[03:44:44] you fall 80 ft.
[03:44:46] Oh, dude.
[03:44:51] Is it
[03:44:52] Oh my god.
[03:44:53] Is it 2d6 per 10 ft?
[03:44:57] Um,
[03:44:57] what damage is it? Oh boy.
[03:44:59] Oh no. Oh no.
[03:45:05] No, it's just 1 d6. Oh, thank God. So
[03:45:07] that's 8d6. That's a fireball. You just
[03:45:10] took a fireball to the face.
[03:45:14] He's rolling so much.
[03:45:16] Yeah, it's 8d6.
[03:45:18] Yeah. Plus prone most likely.
[03:45:25] Oh my god. Sorry.
[03:45:27] You take Yeah, math. You take 29 points
[03:45:30] of bludgeoning damage. Oh, sorry.
[03:45:32] I live.
[03:45:33] Were you raging? Were you raging already
[03:45:35] or not yet? 34. You take 34.
[03:45:38] Oh my god. You take the full 34.
[03:45:42] And you fall in into the pits.
[03:45:44] Dude, our our high damage our highest
[03:45:47] damage people are down in the pit.
[03:45:50] I know, right?
[03:45:51] I know.
[03:45:53] Well, that um
[03:45:54] Jeff is going to TPK us, dude. Jeff is
[03:45:57] going to TPK us.
[03:45:58] This might have been a worse time to not
[03:45:59] take offensive turn. Um, yeah, you take
[03:46:03] 34 points of budgeoning damage as you
[03:46:05] fall face first into
[03:46:08] the ravine. Next up, we have the first
[03:46:10] harpy that's still pinned and is
[03:46:14] really like almost done with. Both of
[03:46:17] their wings are just like shed uh have
[03:46:20] shed have shed their feathers. They rip
[03:46:24] um themselves from the wall and is going
[03:46:27] to attack the cleric twice. chip.
[03:46:32] That is an 18 to hit for the first one.
[03:46:35] [ __ ]
[03:46:36] And a natural one on the second one. So,
[03:46:38] oh, thank god.
[03:46:42] You take 10 points of slashing damage.
[03:46:45] Uh,
[03:46:47] okay.
[03:46:51] We have Poppy. It's your turn. You are
[03:46:54] hidden. You have advantage on your next
[03:46:57] attack.
[03:46:58] Okay.
[03:47:01] Okay, I'll try to hit the harpy beside I
[03:47:05] mean nearest to Alri,
[03:47:09] the one inside the fairy fire.
[03:47:12] Yep.
[03:47:14] Oh, I rolled that. Oh, I I both rolled a
[03:47:16] 20. Oh my god.
[03:47:18] Two natural 20s.
[03:47:20] We take those.
[03:47:22] We take those. We take No, that's a
[03:47:24] natural uh that's an uh that's a
[03:47:27] critical hit, which means you get max
[03:47:29] damage for your sneak attack dice as
[03:47:31] well.
[03:47:31] God damn.
[03:47:33] God damn.
[03:47:33] Wait, so that's 2d6, right? 2d6.
[03:47:37] What's the total?
[03:47:38] So, one at a time. One thing at a time.
[03:47:42] Just roll your dice first. Roll your
[03:47:44] dice first. Roll your dice.
[03:47:45] Okay.
[03:47:47] Uh I roll just the normal 1d6, right?
[03:47:51] 1 d6 plus your sneak attack. So that's
[03:47:53] 3d6.
[03:47:54] Oh, wait. Level four. Ba. Do you get an
[03:47:59] uh
[03:48:00] No, it's just it says here 1 d6 + 4
[03:48:04] still.
[03:48:05] That's your bow, right? That's your bow.
[03:48:07] Mhm.
[03:48:08] So, yes.
[03:48:08] And then for
[03:48:10] Yeah.
[03:48:11] So, you roll damage as normal.
[03:48:13] Yes.
[03:48:14] But then you add 24 points to it.
[03:48:16] Yes. 24 points.
[03:48:18] Okay. So, I I'll just roll one dice
[03:48:21] then. Plus four. And then plus 24.
[03:48:26] I'm sure it's dead anyway. I'll I'll
[03:48:28] tell you about it later.
[03:48:30] Uh, okay.
[03:48:32] Okay. That's uh 1 + 4. That's 5 + 24.
[03:48:39] Uh, sneak attack.
[03:48:40] Sneak attack dice mo. Yeah. Which is
[03:48:43] 2d6.
[03:48:43] 2d6.
[03:48:45] I thought 3d6.
[03:48:47] Level 5.3 d6.
[03:48:49] Okay. So, plus 18. Plus 18 lang.
[03:48:52] So six
[03:48:55] 35.
[03:48:56] So that's a 6 + 5 I think.
[03:48:59] 11.
[03:49:00] Yes.
[03:49:00] 18.
[03:49:01] The harpy
[03:49:03] stops singing and falls silent as its
[03:49:07] heart just gets blown out of its chest
[03:49:10] and its heart is pinned to the wall
[03:49:12] behind it.
[03:49:13] Damn.
[03:49:16] Damn. We're getting
[03:49:19] uh Harpy um silenced all you snap out of
[03:49:23] it.
[03:49:24] Yes.
[03:49:24] Um and
[03:49:26] out of it.
[03:49:28] Okay. Can I
[03:49:29] Yes.
[03:49:31] Wait. Can I ask um can I still attempt
[03:49:33] to hide here or should I move and
[03:49:35] attempt to hide at another place?
[03:49:38] You can. It's a bonus action. So yeah,
[03:49:40] you can still hide there. Yeah.
[03:49:41] Okay.
[03:49:42] No one sees you by the way. You just
[03:49:43] attacked out of nowhere. So you if you
[03:49:46] maintain your stealth,
[03:49:49] you're you're practically invisible to
[03:49:51] everyone. So give me a stealth check.
[03:49:54] Uh
[03:49:58] uh 16. That's with a bonus.
[03:50:03] Okay. Uh next up we have
[03:50:07] uh harpy number two. Harpy number two
[03:50:10] hanging on by thread.
[03:50:13] Harpy number two is going to since
[03:50:15] they're silenced, they're going to
[03:50:17] attack Sheamus twice.
[03:50:19] Oh,
[03:50:21] that is uh 14 to hit.
[03:50:23] It does not hit.
[03:50:24] Nice.
[03:50:25] Miss second attack.
[03:50:28] Uh misses as well.
[03:50:30] Nice.
[03:50:31] They swipe at you with your with their
[03:50:33] wings.
[03:50:36] Next up, we have Sheamus. It's your
[03:50:38] turn. What would you like to do?
[03:50:41] [ __ ] Okay, I am gonna, you know, I
[03:50:45] can't do anything because of my silence,
[03:50:47] but I'm going to mace them in the face.
[03:50:49] Mace them in the face.
[03:50:51] All right, while you're rolling for an
[03:50:52] attack, um, Zavagar, give me a
[03:50:55] perception check.
[03:50:56] Oh, he's going to give Zavagar
[03:50:57] something. Nice.
[03:51:00] OD as well. Perception check.
[03:51:02] Oh,
[03:51:04] okay. 21.
[03:51:06] Nice.
[03:51:06] 21. Zavagar, you see at this point
[03:51:09] stairs leading up at the side of the
[03:51:11] wall.
[03:51:12] Oh,
[03:51:12] I got a 13.
[03:51:13] The Lord
[03:51:14] 13. You do not cease the stairs. You are
[03:51:18] still entranced by the song.
[03:51:21] I hit.
[03:51:22] So Zagar can talk to me, right? Do
[03:51:24] Sorry.
[03:51:25] Um, you're you're effectively apathetic
[03:51:28] to the world around you. So,
[03:51:30] okay.
[03:51:32] All right. Um, Sheamus mace attack
[03:51:35] 21 to hit
[03:51:36] that hits. Row damage.
[03:51:38] Okay, it's a five.
[03:51:42] A five damage. Okay,
[03:51:46] who did who did Sheamus?
[03:51:48] Uh, the sh uh the Harvey takes a mace to
[03:51:51] the face. Um, why is still standing
[03:51:54] strong? Is that your turn, Sheamus?
[03:51:57] Yes.
[03:51:59] Yeah, that's right. That's it. Next up,
[03:52:01] harpy number three.
[03:52:03] Harpie number three is dead. It was
[03:52:05] killed by Poppy, which means cast it.
[03:52:08] It's your turn.
[03:52:09] My turn.
[03:52:11] Okay, then I will cast
[03:52:14] a ray of sickness
[03:52:17] towards the one in front of Ellie.
[03:52:22] All right, roll. Roll the hit.
[03:52:25] That is a Oh god. 12.
[03:52:30] Yeah.
[03:52:31] Okay.
[03:52:32] Nice.
[03:52:33] 12 12 hits. 11 just hits. So, go ahead.
[03:52:37] Throw damage.
[03:52:38] It's way better. Seven. Seven. 14
[03:52:43] damage.
[03:52:44] 14 damage. Then is harpy.
[03:52:47] Um, Harpy
[03:52:50] shrinks. like all of their muscles
[03:52:52] shrink and it's like their skin gets
[03:52:54] sucked against their skeleton
[03:52:57] and and it crumbles to the ground.
[03:53:00] Nice.
[03:53:01] Nice.
[03:53:02] Two more. Two more.
[03:53:04] As your bolt of sixness hits it square
[03:53:06] the chest. Is that your turn? And uh
[03:53:09] Tessic and Ellie.
[03:53:11] Ah. Oh, Ellie can still attack. Ellie
[03:53:13] will move down here and do another force
[03:53:16] attack on this guy.
[03:53:17] Go ahead. Roll the head.
[03:53:20] That's another 12.
[03:53:22] That hits roll damage.
[03:53:24] Where's my D8?
[03:53:26] Three. Only three.
[03:53:29] Three damage. All right.
[03:53:36] Uh, the harpy takes a sonic scream that
[03:53:39] kind of counters creates a dissonant um
[03:53:43] dissonance with the harpy song and
[03:53:46] shatters the air as Ellie
[03:53:49] blows a sonic ball that explodes the uh
[03:53:54] against the harpy's
[03:53:56] uh chest. But
[03:54:00] the harpy maintains its song.
[03:54:02] No.
[03:54:03] No.
[03:54:03] You have harpy. It's going to
[03:54:07] while singing it's going to fly here.
[03:54:11] Five 10 15
[03:54:14] 20
[03:54:16] and it's going to push.
[03:54:20] Oh no.
[03:54:21] I I still have a fly.
[03:54:23] Athletics check.
[03:54:28] Oh, it's a minus three, guys. This going
[03:54:30] This is going to be This is going to be
[03:54:32] very very rough.
[03:54:34] Seven minus three is four.
[03:54:37] Four. They got a 10. So, you are shoved
[03:54:41] back into the pit.
[03:54:43] Is the Is the fly thing still active or
[03:54:46] no?
[03:54:48] Um, you have a flying speed, but you are
[03:54:51] not currently flying.
[03:54:53] Oh.
[03:54:54] Oh, okay.
[03:54:54] So, like you are
[03:54:57] cuz Okay, ambiguous. You are tech you
[03:55:00] were technically airborne. You flew, but
[03:55:03] then essentially I've considered you
[03:55:05] landed here.
[03:55:06] Okay. Okay. Um, on your turn,
[03:55:10] you can attempt to fly again, but you
[03:55:12] are pushed. So, technically, you can't
[03:55:15] counter it with your flying speed
[03:55:16] because it's not your turn. You're not
[03:55:18] moving.
[03:55:18] Sure. Sure, sure, sure, sure, sure.
[03:55:19] Okay.
[03:55:21] Uh, I bet D20. Okay. You take
[03:55:27] Oh, no.
[03:55:29] Oh, I'm I'm I'm going to fall all the
[03:55:31] way down.
[03:55:33] Don't you have the feather token?
[03:55:34] No. Pepper has the feather token. Pepper
[03:55:36] has the feather.
[03:55:39] Didn't give you a potion.
[03:55:42] It's a flying potion.
[03:55:43] 27. You take 27 points of bludgeoning
[03:55:46] damage as Olrich. The moment you land
[03:55:49] after flying, you
[03:55:52] you get pushed shoved back into the pit
[03:55:55] by the harpy.
[03:55:56] That's [ __ ] up.
[03:55:58] Why are you grouped with the fairy fire?
[03:56:00] I'm unconscious.
[03:56:02] No.
[03:56:06] Oh,
[03:56:08] bro didn't even give me a chance to play
[03:56:10] the game.
[03:56:16] All right, can you move yourself back
[03:56:17] into the bit? I can't move your token.
[03:56:21] I also cannot. I'm clicking the map
[03:56:23] instead.
[03:56:25] Why? Why is it doing that?
[03:56:30] Still clicking the map. Still clicking.
[03:56:37] It's his vigor.
[03:56:45] Ayan's
[03:56:48] moving in.
[03:56:49] There we go.
[03:56:51] Finally.
[03:56:52] Oh, no. The fairy fan.
[03:56:53] All right.
[03:56:54] Um, as as Zavagar, you're about to you
[03:56:58] just spotted the stairs and you're about
[03:56:59] to like book it um towards your uh
[03:57:04] companions. You you HEAR ALL
[03:57:08] FALL BACK DOWN, fall unconscious.
[03:57:12] Next up, we have Zavagar. What would you
[03:57:14] like to do? It's 80 ft up though. Dash
[03:57:17] if you want to make it.
[03:57:20] Okay, at this point I'm still in the
[03:57:23] hole, right? I'm selling the whole I
[03:57:24] haven't made it up the stairs yet.
[03:57:26] Mhm.
[03:57:28] Okay.
[03:57:32] So,
[03:57:33] before I decide to run up the stairs, I
[03:57:37] decided to check up on all first.
[03:57:39] Thank you.
[03:57:43] Uh, sure.
[03:57:45] Okay. Okay.
[03:57:46] What would you like to do?
[03:57:49] Can I do anything about him being
[03:57:51] unconscious? You can attempt to
[03:57:53] stabilize him with a medicine check.
[03:57:55] You also have Leon hands.
[03:57:59] You also have You're a paladin.
[03:58:02] Oh, you're right. I am a pal.
[03:58:06] Who the [ __ ] Who knew?
[03:58:10] Okay,
[03:58:12] I will run to Alick seeing as he fell 80
[03:58:16] feet into the [ __ ] pit.
[03:58:20] Check on him.
[03:58:23] I attempt to stabilize and I can cast.
[03:58:25] Oh, it's Yeah, I do. I can use my hands
[03:58:28] on
[03:58:29] you give already.
[03:58:30] I'm just there.
[03:58:32] Uh, it's 20.
[03:58:33] Wait,
[03:58:34] 20.
[03:58:34] Oh, no.
[03:58:36] You You can choose how much you give to
[03:58:37] me.
[03:58:39] Yeah.
[03:58:42] Okay.
[03:58:43] So, I can just
[03:58:44] also you're just like swaying um as
[03:58:47] you're standing.
[03:58:50] You want to go up so bad?
[03:58:53] Okay, I I'll give the all 20.
[03:58:57] Oh, the whole 20.
[03:58:58] God damn.
[03:58:59] Hell yeah.
[03:59:01] 20 HP.
[03:59:02] Um, you have a bonus action, Zavagar.
[03:59:08] Unfortunately, you can only make it
[03:59:10] halfway up the stairs now. nearly
[03:59:13] halfway up the because you ran to
[03:59:17] um
[03:59:28] do we need to do a check for that or no?
[03:59:31] Oh, no. No. Uh I mean like if you don't
[03:59:34] have a bonus action, then that's your
[03:59:35] turn,
[03:59:37] right? That that's it. That's it for
[03:59:39] now.
[03:59:40] All right. All right. You go back up
[03:59:41] with 20 HP. You are back at the bottom
[03:59:45] of the pits. But this time you are of
[03:59:48] clear and sound mind. Um not of sound
[03:59:52] body though. You are rough.
[03:59:55] Not anymore. That's that 20 HP was
[03:59:57] pretty significant.
[04:00:00] Um but you look at OD and Zavagar, you
[04:00:04] can you can bring one of them up with
[04:00:06] you if you want because you still have
[04:00:08] the flying speed.
[04:00:11] I
[04:00:12] What would you like to do?
[04:00:14] If if I carry one of them, does that
[04:00:16] have my fly speed?
[04:00:19] Yes. Unfortunately, this is just 20.
[04:00:21] Okay. Um
[04:00:24] uh if I go to So, Zavagar is halfway.
[04:00:28] So, if I go to him, I fly 40 ft. Is that
[04:00:31] correct?
[04:00:33] Um no. Both of you are now 80 feet
[04:00:36] below. You're in the ravine. Um, so if
[04:00:39] you carry Zavagar, that's half your 40
[04:00:41] foot speed. That's just 20 feet up uh
[04:00:46] higher, but you can dash with an action
[04:00:49] to make it 40T, effectively putting you
[04:00:51] halfway up the stairs
[04:00:52] or halfway up the
[04:00:55] [ __ ] that
[04:00:58] cuz I want to end this [ __ ] fight.
[04:01:00] I'm just going to I'm just going to say
[04:01:02] I just got back I just got up there and
[04:01:05] now I'll back down here and I'm so mad.
[04:01:07] So, I'm just going to full dash up all
[04:01:09] the way up. And this time, I'm going to
[04:01:10] stay hovering above the ravine.
[04:01:13] And I'm going to quicken spell and I'm
[04:01:16] going to gather all the chaotic energy
[04:01:18] on my in the palm of my hand. And again,
[04:01:20] it's an amalgamation of like red, blue,
[04:01:23] green, purple energy on my hand. And
[04:01:25] then it will
[04:01:26] rainbow.
[04:01:27] It's a rainbow. Yes. It will.
[04:01:31] I'll shoot it at the guy that's in the
[04:01:34] fairier so I have advantage.
[04:01:37] Yep.
[04:01:38] This is a first level spell. So, this
[04:01:40] would be a 10 plus 6 to hit. That hits
[04:01:44] that hits.
[04:01:46] And let me open up chaos bolt real
[04:01:49] quick.
[04:01:51] Damage will be a 7 six. So, that is
[04:01:55] poison damage. So, the the the energy in
[04:01:58] my hand stabilizes and it it turns into
[04:02:01] a full sickly green because it turns
[04:02:04] into poison damage. And it's a total of
[04:02:07] 17 points of damage thrown straight at
[04:02:09] that harpy.
[04:02:12] 17 is just what you needed. As the harpy
[04:02:16] um every orifice of their body kind of
[04:02:20] drips out with blood and then the blood
[04:02:22] turns into a sickly black and then a
[04:02:25] green acid pooling at their feet as this
[04:02:28] harpy almost melts, its wings fusing
[04:02:32] with a slick tar. um melting on the
[04:02:36] stone. It is gone.
[04:02:39] That's what you get for pushing me down
[04:02:41] the ravine. And I'm just going to stay
[04:02:43] there hovering
[04:02:44] with their cap of billowing
[04:02:46] with my c WITH THE CAPE OF BILLOWING cuz
[04:02:48] you
[04:02:50] Oh my god. You used your bonus action
[04:02:53] for the
[04:02:54] Okay. No, no, no cloak of billowing, but
[04:02:56] it's there.
[04:02:58] Air natural takes the cloak below.
[04:03:03] You just send it my way, bro.
[04:03:06] One harpy remaining. O, with the death
[04:03:09] of that last singing harpy, you snap out
[04:03:11] of it. However, roll meo on the WILD
[04:03:14] MAGIC TABLE.
[04:03:15] OH,
[04:03:16] YES, baby boy.
[04:03:19] Okay,
[04:03:22] it's this either makes my aura farming
[04:03:24] even better or so much worse cuz I'm
[04:03:26] still hovering over the remaining.
[04:03:28] Yeah,
[04:03:29] I get I get back to my senses. Huh?
[04:03:31] Yeah.
[04:03:32] What the [ __ ]
[04:03:33] Okay.
[04:03:34] My wild magic is Oh. Oh. 67.
[04:03:40] Huh?
[04:03:41] Are you sure?
[04:03:42] Yeah. 67.
[04:03:44] Oh, we all die though.
[04:03:45] 67. I got 67.
[04:03:47] 67. 67.
[04:03:49] 67.
[04:03:50] Oh my god. This guy said,
[04:03:52] "As poison spell kills the harpy, you
[04:03:56] feel something in your pocket weighing
[04:03:59] you down." As
[04:04:01] fool's gold manifests in your pocket in
[04:04:04] 40 gold pieces IN YOUR POCKET.
[04:04:08] YES,
[04:04:11] I'm rich.
[04:04:12] For my
[04:04:13] rich,
[04:04:18] what would you like to do?
[04:04:20] That's seven is the best.
[04:04:24] All right.
[04:04:26] Do I know there's a way going up?
[04:04:28] Uh you spotted this to this point
[04:04:30] because uh yeah, you have spotted at
[04:04:34] this point. You snapped out of your
[04:04:36] senses. So yeah.
[04:04:39] Okay. That I go up just 30 ft on the
[04:04:43] stairs.
[04:04:43] You don't want to Where is it?
[04:04:44] You don't want to dash.
[04:04:46] Oh, dash. Sorry. Sorry. Thanks.
[04:04:48] So you are up. There's another.
[04:04:55] Wait.
[04:04:58] Oh, everything is so fun.
[04:05:02] I cannot do much.
[04:05:06] That's it.
[04:05:07] Scream.
[04:05:09] Next up, we have It's your turn. What do
[04:05:12] you want to do, Poppy?
[04:05:14] Uh, I'm going to try to attempt and
[04:05:19] attempt to hit the harpy near Sheamus.
[04:05:23] I'm still here. Okay.
[04:05:26] Oh my god. 16 and 14 plus six.
[04:05:29] That hits.
[04:05:30] Oh, that hits, right?
[04:05:31] My god, I'm so close to 13.
[04:05:37] Okay, so that's 3d6s.
[04:05:42] Oh, right.
[04:05:44] Okay, I got um 11 + 4.
[04:05:48] So that's
[04:05:49] Poppy. How do you want to do this?
[04:05:51] Hey,
[04:05:52] how many want to do this?
[04:05:55] How many How do you want to do this?
[04:05:56] Have you gotten already?
[04:05:59] Yeah, Poppy's your heavy hitter.
[04:06:01] Yeah,
[04:06:02] I'm going to I'm going to shout at the
[04:06:04] harpy now. Enough of your songs. It's
[04:06:06] not even that good. And
[04:06:08] unfortunately, the harpy doesn't hear it
[04:06:10] because no sound comes out of your
[04:06:12] mouth. You're still inside the silence.
[04:06:14] Oh, right. All right.
[04:06:17] So, I'm just I'm just gonna go I'm just
[04:06:20] gonna go and uh do this. You're going
[04:06:23] down and I pull my my my arrow and then
[04:06:29] shoot the harpy. Uh maybe
[04:06:33] shoot the harpy's head.
[04:06:36] All right. You shoot the harpy in the
[04:06:38] head and the arrow embeds itself in
[04:06:40] between its eyes
[04:06:43] and then the harpy falls to the ground,
[04:06:46] its wings lifelessly slamming against
[04:06:48] the floor. You defeated the singing
[04:06:52] stones
[04:06:54] and that will be where we will end
[04:06:56] today's session.
[04:06:57] Oh my god.
[04:06:59] Wow. Wow.
[04:07:03] Nobody died. Let's go.
[04:07:08] I do kind of feel bad for
[04:07:11] Pepper though because I didn't make the
[04:07:13] choices for you guys to
[04:07:15] go into the game.
[04:07:19] The guy didn't even get to smite a
[04:07:22] single person.
[04:07:24] No more reason for him.
[04:07:26] You missed your roll.
[04:07:30] But of course my 6'1 frame, bro.
[04:07:34] I can't also just like uh rearrange the
[04:07:38] things in your favor. So,

[04:07:42] Pepper. You just have to come back. Come

[04:09:17] So, back in the ravine, you find the
