[01:10] Whatever it is that's been knocking from inside your head,

[01:14] just don't pay any attention now.

[01:19] just to say, cut that, unplug from that.

[01:24] I just want presence.

[01:26] I just want to feel you and be with you in presence now.

[01:34] it will be infinitely greater than any question that you have had,

[02:24] Whenever we call and use the word 'satsang',

[02:27] people start to think about questions.

[02:29] I'm going to give you a different thing now.

[02:32] Don't think about questions. Don't think.

[02:37] Just be in the being right now,

[02:39] just being only, just being.

[02:42] Being is not a doing.

[02:44] It is an allowing of yourself,

[02:49] to just let go of the mind traffic

[02:53] and the things-to-do list.

[02:56] Let go of all of that, completely of that! OK?

[03:05] No imagination is needed.

[03:09] Just be empty.

[03:26] The emptiness that I am speaking about here

[03:30] is not something that you can create.

[03:35] It's what you are allowing yourself to be.

[03:41] It is there already.

[03:44] It is like if you have been watching TV for a few hours,

[03:48] and you feel like keeping on watching something,

[03:52] then somehow, an impulse comes to just switch it off.

[03:56] And there is just a silence. That silence is always here.

[04:03] Now, there's one more step;

[04:07] that in which the silence itself is perceived.

[04:13] The silence now is present.

[04:15] It is almost like a kind of physical silence,

[04:20] but it is more than that.

[04:22] But now, there is the awareness of silence also.

[04:26] I use the word 'awareness',

[04:28] the awareness in which even the silence itself is perceived.

[04:33] Again, this is not the outcome of some doing.

[04:41] Just seeing, recognising,

[04:46] but it is not a dualistic seeing.

[04:51] We are in the space of only Awareness now.

[04:56] Don't hold on to any shape,

[04:59] nor be any shape, for a moment.

[05:04] You are not creating.

[05:13] So you are just naturally aware.

[05:16] Whatever shows up in the space of your being,

[05:19] that's OK, it can just be there.

[05:21] That's not something to interfere with right now.

[05:24] There's nothing to pick up.

[05:27] There is nothing to use.

[05:31] There is nothing to become.

[05:35] There is nothing to change.

[05:37] And why is that? Because you yourself are empty.

[05:45] I don't mean you are empty like

[05:47] there's a can that's been emptied, and there's a can left.

[05:51] There is no can, and there is no container,

[05:54] and no thing contained, for a moment.

[05:58] This is not hypnosis. This is just clear, clear, emptying.

[06:05] Not allowing your attention to caress,

[06:08] or to cling to any idea, however subtle.

[06:14] And yet, there is no cynicism, there is no dismissing.

[06:25] Even if there is a self-image,

[06:27] like the body is appearing in your consciousness

[06:30] as a kind of reminder of what you are, that is only an idea.

[06:42] So if you feel, 'I have come to a place of real silence',

[06:47] the silence itself is only the kind of perfume,

[06:50] that comes from this, which is not an object.

[07:00] This, I would call, the very ground of being itself.

[07:04] You may use this term, if you like it,

[07:07] but this ground is not a level.

[07:15] It is not earth.

[07:26] You are not drifting. If there's a feeling of drifting, that's not you.

[07:30] You may be aware of drifting.

[07:35] There is no shape, or dimension to what you are.

[07:43] And again, I don't need to ask you,

[07:45] nor do you need to imagine anything at all,

[07:48] because if something imagined is there,

[07:51] you will also perceive that as only another shape

[07:54] appearing in the vastness that you are, as awareness.

[08:03] You have not become anything at all.

[08:15] Now, if you feel some mind movements,

[08:18] some mind chattering and so on,

[08:21] it's only because the attention is still trying to catch you into a shape,

[08:26] or a memory of yourself as a person.

[08:29] Remember that is also a shape. Just remain shapeless.

[08:36] Now, it might feel like this is something you are doing,

[08:40] but I'm only asking you to be empty, and to notice.

[08:43] That emptiness is at the very root of all things.

[08:49] It is totally natural!

[08:51] Not contrived, not imagined,

[08:54] just recognised, somehow.

[09:00] If anything is pulled into the mind-shape,

[09:04] it is only your ideas, and habit,

[09:07] and the tendency to identify yourself

[09:12] in some shape called a person.

[09:15] Now, this may take time,

[09:17] and you may need to sit with this as often as you can, this is fine.

[09:23] But however long it takes you, when you discover it,

[09:27] it has always been here, as it is right now, but it hasn't arrived.

[09:32] What I'm speaking about, the very essence of your Self,

[09:35] has not come from anywhere, nor can it go.

[09:39] All that come and go are illusory and momentary.

[09:45] [silence]

[09:57] Just as I'm saying all these things, pointing from this Emptiness,

[10:01] all that I'm saying is coming out of this Emptiness,

[10:04] but the Emptiness is not affected by it at all.

[10:08] Only from that Emptiness, there is a field of harmony,

[10:12] and out of this field of harmony,

[10:14] these words come to guide you,

[10:17] so that you keep out of that which brings disharmony.

[10:21] And you come to a clear recognition,

[10:24] a non-dual recognition,

[10:27] a non-phenomenal recognition,

[10:32] a non-object recognition,

[10:35] that is your Self, here and now.

[10:39] Your Self will never become a construct that is created in the mind.

[10:44] All that which is created in the mind, none of it is stable.

[10:48] It comes and goes.

[10:50] What you are discovering is that alone which is stable.

[10:55] It is always here,

[10:57] that alone which can be called 'eternal' or 'timeless'.

[11:02] If you are to discover this in another lifetime,

[11:06] or ten lifetimes, or ten minutes, or ten hours from now,

[11:09] whenever you discover this, that I'm speaking of now,

[11:13] it will be just the same as it is right now.

[11:17] There is no object to find. There is no philosophy to fulfil.

[11:22] There is nothing to become.

[11:25] It is more a kind of un-becoming.

[11:27] That may feel more real than becoming something,

[11:30] because you cannot become the Self.

[11:33] It is what you are!

[11:43] But we find it difficult to recognise

[11:46] on account of the culture of personhood

[11:50] that has developed through the mind and being.

[12:01] And if you feel, ‘I'm not getting this’, don't worry about that.

[12:07] Through your satsang you are learning, more and more,

[12:11] to discern the difference between your mind and your Self.

[12:16] The mind came from the Self,

[12:19] dances in the Self and subsides in the Self.

[12:22] The Self has no movement to make.

[12:30] So, as we are coming to the end of satsang now, for today,

[12:36] don't make any conclusions about anything at all. Please listen to me.

[12:41] Don't make any conclusions, like something ...

[12:44] So your mind is making some kind of conclusions about what you've heard.

[12:49] There is nothing to do at all. The serum is already in!

[12:54] Don't give it to your mind.

[12:59] Trust this.

[13:11] Now, I felt that! I felt this! I felt this.

[13:15] As I said, Trust this, something ...

[13:17] I don't know where exactly that's coming from now,

[13:21] [Mooji] and from how many of you ... Something, just let go of some shape.

[13:29] And it is so discernable,

[13:36] you can just be comfortable.

[13:40] There is nothing to keep. There is nothing to know.

[13:44] Our sharing inside your being,

[13:47] the natural intelligence of your being,

[13:50] the natural grace of God in you, is already functioning.

[13:55] It does not need the extra help from your mind!

[13:58] That just interferes.

[14:01] Trust this.

[14:13] [M.] to just have a few moments to sit with you,

[14:16] to simply rest and delight in your company,

[14:21] a little bit, for a few moments.

[14:36] to again, only pay attention. That's all!

[14:48] Only settling in your Self,

[14:51] watching the illusory waves of the mind, and so on.

[14:57] Don't get entangled in all of that. Don't worry.

[15:10] And an ease on the way, also.

[15:16] We make trouble for ourselves by holding on to the mind too much,

[15:22] and thinking that, somehow,

[15:24] this is some sort of intellectual procedure.

[15:27] It is not at all.

[15:33] [Mooji] Just hold on to nothing at all.

[15:37] [M.] And I want to tell you that,

[15:40] this is not just about tonight, or today, or this moment.

[15:44] Have this attitude.

[15:47] Don't worry.

[15:51] Remember these words: don't take shape.

[15:58] Trust that, and you will see how freeing it is,

[16:01] and at the same time, how truly responsible it is,

[16:06] how efficient,

[16:09] and harmonious.

[16:14] Accept it, and let it be released in you.

[16:22] Don't tighten yourself around anything at all.

[16:47] And remember, there is nothing to imagine.

[16:55] The Self has nothing to do with imagination.

[16:58] Of course, it creates this ability,

[17:06] but as you are discovering, rediscovering, the truth of yourself,

[17:13] you will not be so inclined to make things up,

[17:18] and to be pushing your head into different shapes.

[17:24] Everything is just fine like that.

[17:27] Be easy in yourself.

[17:29] Of course, there will be times when effort is required,

[17:33] and trust that if an effort is truly required,

[17:37] it will also come, naturally.

[17:40] Learn to trust life.

[17:43] It is not forceful.

[17:45] Of course, there is force and there is power,

[17:49] but when it is moving in the right timing,

[17:52] you will see that it is all grace and appropriate.
