  But fate saved the Pandavas, and that same conspiracy brought them to a path where destiny created a new chapter.

[02:12] जंगलों में भटकते हुए पांडवों की मुलाकात हुई हिडिंब और हिडिंबा से।
  While wandering in the forests, the Pandavas met Hidimba and Hidimbi.

[02:15] हिडिंब नरभक्षी राक्षस था जिसने अपनी बहन को आदेश दिया कि पांडवों को मारकर भोजन तैयार करें।
  Hidimba was a cannibalistic demon who ordered his sister to kill the Pandavas and prepare a meal.

  But as soon as Hidimbi saw Bhima, her heart filled with love.

  She rejected her brother's order and began to protect Bhima.

  As a result, a fierce battle took place between Bhima and Hidimba, in which Hidimba was killed and Hidimbi married Bhima.

  This marriage was unusual because it was a Gandharva marriage, and it had a condition that Bhima would leave Hidimbi after having a child.

  From this marriage, a wonderful child named Ghatotkacha was born, who was as strong and valiant as his father.

[02:55] समय बीतता गया और घटोत्कच ने दैत्यराज मुरा की पुत्री अहिलावती से [विवाह किया]।
  Time passed, and Ghatotkacha [married] Ahilavati, the daughter of the demon king Mura.

[03:01] विवाह किया जिससे एक पुत्र हुआ जिसका नाम बरबरीक रखा गया।
  He got married, from which a son was born who was named Barbarik.

[03:04] वही बरबरीक जिसने आगे चलकर खाटू श्याम के रूप में अवतार लिया।
  The same Barbarik who later incarnated as Khatu Shyam.

[03:10] बचपन से ही बरबरीक असाधारण प्रतिभा का धनी था।
  From childhood, Barbarik was gifted with extraordinary talent.

[03:13] उसकी आंखों में अद्भुत तेज और उसके हृदय में धर्म की लौ जलती रहती थी।
  There was a wonderful radiance in his eyes and the flame of righteousness burned in his heart.

[03:19] उसकी माता अहिलावती ने उसे बचपन से ही यह वचन दिलवाया था कि वह सदैव हारे हुए पक्ष की ओर से युद्ध करेगा।
  His mother Ahilavati had made him promise from childhood that he would always fight on the side of the defeated party.

[03:24] यह वचन साधारण नहीं था क्योंकि इसी वचन ने उसके जीवन का मार्ग बदल दिया।
  This promise was not ordinary because this very promise changed the course of his life.

[03:29] किशोरा अवस्था में ही बरबरीक ने भगवान शिव की कठोर तपस्या की।
  In his adolescence, Barbarik performed severe penance for Lord Shiva.

[03:36] उसकी भक्ति से प्रसन्न होकर शिव ने उसे तीन अमोघ बाण प्रदान किए।
  Pleased with his devotion, Shiva granted him three infallible arrows.

[03:39] यह तीन बाण साधारण बाण नहीं थे।
  These three arrows were not ordinary arrows.

[03:41] इनकी शक्ति असीम थी।
  Their power was limitless.

[03:45] पहला बाण किसी भी लक्ष्य को चिन्हित कर देता था।
  The first arrow would mark any target.

[03:47] दूसरा बाण उसे भेद देता था और तीसरा बाण सब कुछ नष्ट कर वापस लौट आता था।
  The second arrow would pierce it, and the third arrow would destroy everything and return.

[03:53] केवल तीन बाणों के बल पर बरबरीक संपूर्ण पृथ्वी की सेनाओं का अंत कर सकता था।
  On the strength of only three arrows, Barbarik could end the armies of the entire earth.

[03:56] उसके पास असंख्य धनुष बाणों की आवश्यकता नहीं थी।
  He did not need countless bows and arrows.

[03:59] उसकी शक्ति।
  His power.

[04:02] तीन बाणों में ही सिमटी थी और यही कारण था कि उसे तीन बाणधारी कहा गया।
  It was contained within just three arrows and this was the reason why he was called the wielder of three arrows.

[04:08] समय बीतता गया और जब महाभारत का महायुद्ध प्रारंभ हुआ तो बरबरीक का मन भी उसमें सम्मिलित होने को लालायित हो उठा।
  Time passed and when the great war of Mahabharata began, Barbarik's heart also longed to participate in it.

[04:13] वह अपने घोड़े पर सवार होकर कुरुक्षेत्र की ओर निकल पड़ा।
  He mounted his horse and set out towards Kurukshetra.

[04:19] परंतु उसकी माता के दिए वचन ने उसे एक द्वंद्व में डाल दिया क्योंकि उसने प्रण लिया था कि वह सदैव हारे हुए पक्ष का साथ देगा।
  But the promise given to his mother put him in a dilemma because he had vowed that he would always support the losing side.

[04:26] लेकिन युद्ध में हर दिन परिस्थिति बदलती।
  But the situation in the war changed every day.

[04:29] कभी पांडव जीतते तो कभी कौरव।
  Sometimes the Pandavas would win, and sometimes the Kauravas.

[04:33] ऐसे में यदि वह युद्ध भूमि में उतरता तो युद्ध का संतुलन बिगड़ जाता।
  In such a situation, if he were to enter the battlefield, the balance of the war would be disrupted.

[04:47] उसी समय भगवान श्री कृष्ण ने उसका मार्ग रोका।
  At that same time, Lord Shri Krishna blocked his path.

[04:50] वे एक ब्राह्मण के वेश में आए और उससे उसका उद्देश्य पूछा।
  He came in the guise of a Brahmin and asked him his purpose.

[04:53] बरबरीक ने कहा कि वह युद्ध में सम्मिलित होने जा रहा है और सदैव हारे हुए पक्ष का साथ देगा।
  Barbarik said that he is going to participate in the war and will always support the losing side.

[05:01] कृष्ण ने मुस्कुराकर कहा यदि ऐसा हुआ तो युद्ध कभी
  Krishna smiled and said if that happens, then the war will never

[05:04] समाप्त नहीं होगा क्योंकि जिस ओर तुम जाओगे वह पक्ष विजय हो जाएगा और दूसरा हार जाएगा तब तुम फिर से पक्ष बदल लोगे।
  It will not end because whichever side you go to will be victorious and the other will lose, then you will change sides again.

[05:13] इस प्रकार युद्ध का कोई अंत नहीं होगा।
  In this way, the war will have no end.

[05:16] तब कृष्ण ने उसकी शक्ति की परीक्षा लेने के लिए एक वृक्ष की ओर संकेत किया और कहा कि यदि तुम इतने पराक्रमी हो तो इस वृक्ष के सारे पत्तों को एक ही बाण से भेद कर दिखाओ।
  Then Krishna pointed towards a tree to test his power and said that if you are so mighty, then show me by piercing all the leaves of this tree with a single arrow.

[05:26] बरबरीक ने ध्यान लगाकर बाण छोड़ा और वह बाण वृक्ष के प्रत्येक पत्ते को छेदता हुआ निकल गया।
  Barbarik focused and released the arrow, and that arrow passed through piercing every leaf of the tree.

[05:34] लेकिन कृष्ण ने अपने चरणों तले एक पत्ता छिपा लिया।
  But Krishna hid one leaf under his feet.

[05:37] बाण ने उसे भी ढूंढ लिया और वहीं रुक गया।
  The arrow found that one too and stopped right there.

[05:39] तब बरबरीक ने विनम्रता से कहा, हे ब्राह्मण कृपया अपना चरण हटा लें।
  Then Barbarik humbly said, O Brahmin, please remove your foot.

[05:42] वरना यह बाण आपको भी घायल कर देगा।
  Otherwise, this arrow will injure you too.

[05:45] कृष्ण मुस्कुराए और समझ गए कि यह बालक असाधारण है।
  Krishna smiled and understood that this boy is extraordinary.

[05:48] दोस्तों, आगे जो आप सुनने वाले हैं, वह आपको अंदर तक हिला देगा।

[06:06] बरबरीक से उसका शीश मांग लिया।
  He asked Barbarik for his head.

[06:09] बरबरीक क्षण भर को चुप रहा परंतु उसने तुरंत स्वीकार कर लिया।
  Barbarik remained silent for a moment, but he immediately accepted.

[06:14] उसने केवल इतना कहा कि हे प्रभु अपने वास्तविक रूप में प्रकट हो जाइए क्योंकि ऐसा दान कोई सामान्य व्यक्ति नहीं मांग सकता।
  He only said, 'O Lord, please reveal your true form, because no ordinary person can ask for such a sacrifice.'

[06:22] तब श्री कृष्ण ने अपना विराट रूप प्रकट किया और कहा हे वीर तुम्हारा यह बलिदान व्यर्थ नहीं जाएगा।
  Then Shri Krishna revealed his cosmic form and said, 'O warrior, this sacrifice of yours will not go in vain.'

[06:27] भगवान श्री कृष्ण ने बरबरीक को आशीर्वाद दिया कि कलयुग में लोग तुम्हें हारे का सहारा कहकर पुकारेंगे।
  Lord Shri Krishna blessed Barbarik that in the Kali Yuga, people will call you the support of the defeated.

[06:32] वे तुम्हारी मूर्ति की पूजा करेंगे।
  They will worship your idol.

[06:35] तुम्हारा शीश कलयुग में भगवान श्याम के रूप में पूजित होगा।
  Your head will be worshipped as Lord Shyam in the Kali Yuga.

[06:40] और जब धर्म संकट में पड़ेगा तब तुम घोड़े पर सवार होकर युद्ध भूमि में अवतरित होंगे।
  And when righteousness is in danger, you will appear on the battlefield riding a horse.

[06:46] कृष्ण ने उसका शीर्ष युद्ध भूमि पर एक ऊंची पहाड़ी पर स्थापित किया और अमृत से स्नान कराकर उसे यह वरदान दिया कि वह पूरे महाभारत युद्ध को देखें और निष्पक्ष साक्षी बने।
  Krishna placed his head on a high hill on the battlefield and, after bathing it in nectar, granted him the boon to watch the entire Mahabharata war and remain an impartial witness.

[06:57] बरबरीक का शीश मुस्कुराता रहा और उसने पूरे युद्ध का साक्षात्कार किया।
  Barbarik's head kept smiling and he witnessed the entire war.

[07:03] यही शीश आगे चलकर राजस्थान की पवित्र भूमि
  This very head later on the holy land of Rajasthan

[07:06] घाटों में पूजित हुआ।
  It was worshipped at the ghats.

[07:09] कहते हैं जब समय बीता तो इस सिर को धरती के गर्भ में दबा दिया गया।
  It is said that as time passed, this head was buried in the womb of the earth.

[07:12] परंतु नियति को कुछ और ही स्वीकार्य था।
  But destiny had something else in mind.

[07:14] सदियों बाद खाटू गांव की भूमि में चढ़ती एक गाय अचानक एक स्थान पर रुक गई और बिना कारण उसके थनों से दूध बहने लगा।
  Centuries later, a cow grazing in the land of Khatu village suddenly stopped at one place, and for no reason, milk began to flow from its udders.

[07:23] ग्रामीण चौंक गए और उस स्थान की खुदाई की तो वहां से वही दिव्य शीश प्रकट हुआ जो तेजस्वी और अलौकिक था।
  The villagers were surprised and when they dug that place, the same divine head appeared, which was radiant and supernatural.

[07:29] गांव में उत्साह फैल गया और लोग इसे अपने घर ले गए।
  Excitement spread in the village and people took it to their homes.

[07:35] कुछ समय बाद खाटू के राजा रूप सिंह चौहान को सपने में श्याम बाबा ने दर्शन दिए और आदेश दिया कि मेरे लिए यहां भव्य मंदिर का निर्माण करो।
  Some time later, Shyam Baba appeared in a dream to the King of Khatu, Roop Singh Chauhan, and ordered him to build a grand temple for him there.

[07:45] राजा ने तुरंत मंदिर का निर्माण करवाया और फाल्गुन शुक्ल एकादशी के दिन उस दिव्य शीश की प्रतिष्ठा की गई।

[08:09] संकट से बच जाता है।
  He escapes from the crisis.

[08:12] वैज्ञानिक इसे संयोग मानते हैं।

[08:15] परंतु भक्त इसे श्याम बाबा की कृपा कहते हैं।
  But devotees call it the grace of Shyam Baba.

[08:17] मंदिर के गर्भगृह में स्थापित वह शीश आज भी ऊर्जा का स्रोत है।
  The head installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple is still a source of energy today.

[08:20] लोग कहते हैं कि वहां ध्यान करने से शरीर में कंपन होने लगता है।

  In the 17th century, Diwan Abhay Singh of the Marwar princely state got it renovated and decorated the temple with marble carvings, gold and silver doors, and rare stones.
