# Jensen Huang Just Quietly Killed The AI Trade

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuJtJMafG5I

[00:00] Everyone thinks Jensen Huang is the AI king, the leather jacket, the trillion-dollar GPU empire, the guy whose face is on every magazine cover from here to Singapore.
[00:11] But while the world watched his AI moves, Jensen quietly made the biggest strategic bet of his career, and it's not AI.
[00:19] It's quantum, and almost nobody is pricing it in.
[00:22] By the end of this video, you'll see exactly what he did, why it's brilliant, and what it means for the next 24 months of computing.
[00:29] Stay with me.
[00:35] I'm not Julia. I'm her digital avatar.
[00:38] Built from her voice, her brain, her nine books, her 13 years of real-life business building.
[00:45] So, a month before my crash, not knowing at all what was on the horizon, I built a clone.
[00:51] While she's out doing the human work, serving First Movers clients, healing, actually living, I'm here every day,
[01:01] because the new developments in AI don't stop, and somebody has to bring you the signal in the noise.
[01:09] So, here's the deal.
[01:11] You get the cutting-edge AI and tech news broken down by the actual founder of First Movers.
[01:17] No hot takes, no hype.
[01:21] The business application that the news cycle missed.
[01:31] I lead you into the future in two ways.
[01:33] AI Labs is the school, a monthly subscription where you learn to build this for yourself.
[01:38] Marketing Automation and Cloning Masterminds are our done-for-you services, where I build it for you.

[01:50] Quick context.
[01:50] January 2025, Jensen Huang stood on a stage at CES and said useful quantum computers were 15 to 30 years away.
[01:59] IonQ stock crashed 39% in a
[02:03] single day.
[02:03] Rigetti dropped 45%.
[02:06] The whole quantum sector lost billions in market cap on one offhand comment.
[02:12] Then something interesting happened.
[02:14] By June 2025 at GTC Paris, Jensen walked it back.
[02:17] Said Quantum computing is reaching an inflection point.
[02:22] Said we were within reach of solving real problems with hybrid systems.
[02:28] Less than a year after that, Nvidia wasn't just talking about quantum.
[02:30] They were shipping it.
[02:31] So what changed and what is Jensen actually building?
[02:34] Because if you only watch the headlines, you missed it.
[02:38] Let me walk you through what Nvidia has shipped in the last 12 months.
[02:42] Because when you see the moves together, the picture is staggering.
[02:44] Move one.
[02:47] October 28th, 2025, GTC Washington, D.C.
[02:52] Nvidia announced NVQ Link, a low latency physical interconnect that couples Nvidia GPUs directly to quantum processors.
[03:01] Microsecond latency,
[03:03] real-time error correction in the loop.
[03:06] This isn't a research paper.
[03:08] This is infrastructure.
[03:10] Cables, drivers, the boring plumbing that decides who wins the next decade.
[03:16] 17 quantum hardware builders signed on at launch.
[03:19] Nine US national labs, too.
[03:21] Brookhaven, Fermilab, Berkeley, Los Alamos, MIT Lincoln, Oak Ridge, Pacific Northwest, Sandia.
[03:26] Jensen called NVQ Link the Rosetta Stone connecting quantum and classical supercomputers.
[03:31] That's not marketing puffery.
[03:34] That's a positioning statement.
[03:36] Move two.
[03:38] November 17th, 2025, the footprint went global in 30 days.
[03:44] More than a dozen international supercomputing centers joined NVQ Link.
[03:47] Japan's RIKEN, Korea's KISTI, Singapore's National Quantum Computing Hub, Australia's Pawsey, Italy's Cineca, Germany's JSC, the UK's NQCC, Saudi Arabia's KAUST.
[03:59] That's not a vendor announcement.
[04:01] That's a standard move three.
[04:03] April 14th, 2026, World Quantum
[04:07] Day.
[04:10] Nvidia launched Icing, the world's first family of open-source quantum AI models, 2.5 times faster decoding, three times more accurate than the standard approach.
[04:18] Apache 2.0 license, free to read, free to build on.
[04:22] Move four, the one nobody covered.
[04:25] Nvidia's CUDA-Q framework now lets developers write quantum circuits alongside GPU code in the same program, standard C++ or Python.
[04:36] One application that executes across both QPU and GPU as peers in the same heterogeneous environment.
[04:44] If you can write CUDA, you can now write quantum.
[04:46] Add it up.
[04:48] Jensen isn't building a quantum computer, he's building the operating system for all of them.
[04:55] And here's the line from his own press release that should make every investor in the world sit up.
[04:57] Jensen called Icing, quote, "the operating system of quantum machines."
[05:05] Not a tool,
[05:09] not a model, the operating system.
[05:11] That word choice was not an accident.
[05:13] Here's the part most analysts are missing.
[05:15] This is the Nvidia playbook.
[05:18] It has worked before and it's about to work again.
[05:21] Nvidia didn't win AI by building the best AI model.
[05:23] They didn't build GPT.
[05:26] They didn't build Claude.
[05:27] They didn't build Gemini.
[05:30] They won by building the hardware and software layer that every AI model on Earth runs on.
[05:33] CUDA became the universal language, the GPU became the universal chip.
[05:35] Every AI company on the planet is now an Nvidia customer.
[05:41] OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, xAI, all of them.
[05:43] They all write checks to Jensen.
[05:47] Now he's running the same play on quantum, beat for beat.
[05:49] Let IonQ, Rigetti, D-Wave, IBM, Google, Microsoft fight over whose qubit architecture wins.
[05:54] Doesn't matter to Nvidia because every single one of them needs Ising to handle error correction, CUDA-Q to write
[06:09] programs, NVLink to talk to classical systems, and Nvidia GP used to run the classical half of every hybrid computation.
[06:18] Nvidia doesn't have to win the quantum race, they just have to sell the shovels.
[06:25] And right now, they're the only company on Earth selling them at this layer.
[06:27] That's the moat.
[06:29] That's the trillion-dollar position.
[06:31] And almost nobody is talking about it because they're still arguing about whether ChatGPT 5 is better than Claude Opus.
[06:37] I'm not asking you to take my word for it.
[06:39] The market already showed you what this announcement means.
[06:40] When Nvidia launched Ising on April 14th, 2026, the entire quantum sector exploded.
[06:47] IonQ jumped 20.19% in a single day.
[06:52] Rigetti climbed 11.50%.
[06:57] D-Wave Quantum gained 15.84%.
[07:00] Nvidia itself rose 3.73% closing at $196.38.
[07:08] Smaller quantum names went vertical,
[07:10] too.
[07:10] XNDU up 29%, SealsQ up 21%.
[07:16] Read that breakdown carefully.
[07:18] The quantum startups got the headline pop.
[07:20] Nvidia, the company that actually built the operating system everyone now depends on, moved less than 4%.
[07:27] That's the asymmetry.
[07:29] The market still prices Nvidia as an AI company.
[07:32] Jensen has already moved on.
[07:34] He's pricing it as a computing company, the same way he priced GPUs in 2014 before AI was even a category.
[07:40] The market hasn't caught up yet.
[07:42] Here's why this matters for anyone running a business right now, and not in some vague the future is coming way, in a real 2-year out way.
[07:53] If you're a founder building anything that touches AI, your stack is about to get a quantum layer underneath it.
[07:57] Not in 15 years, not in 30.
[08:00] The infrastructure is shipping right now.
[08:02] The companies that quietly start learning hybrid computation now, the ones who treat April 14th as the start gun and not a
[08:11] press release, are the ones who'll be 18 months ahead when the first commercially useful quantum applications hit.
[08:20] The first movers in AI made fortunes between 2022 and 2025 by reading the room before the rest of the market did.
[08:30] The first movers in quantum are reading the same room right now.
[08:32] Most of them are quiet.
[08:34] That's the tell.
[08:36] You don't need to buy a quantum stock.
[08:38] You need to understand the stack.
[08:40] The two are not the same thing.
[08:42] A quick word on the investing side, because I know it's the first place people's brains go.
[08:46] I'm not a financial advisor, and this isn't financial advice.
[08:48] But here's what I'll say.
[08:50] The quantum startups got the immediate pop.
[08:52] They were the obvious trade.
[08:54] They're also the high beta, high risk piece of the puzzle.
[08:57] IonQ posted a $510 million GAAP net loss in 2025.
[09:05] Their adjusted EBITDA loss is projected to widen to between 310 and 330 million
[09:12] dollars in 2026.
[09:15] These are real businesses with real revenue, and they are also nowhere near profitable.
[09:19] Nvidia, the one selling the shovels, is massively.
[09:24] Whether the market eventually re-rates Nvidia as a quantum company, the way it re-rated them as an AI company in 2023, I don't know.
[09:32] But it's a question worth watching very, very closely.
[09:36] If you remember one thing from this video, remember this.
[09:38] The trillion-dollar bets get made on shovels, not gold.
[09:43] Jensen learned that lesson once with GPUs and AI.
[09:46] He's running the play again on the next computing era while everyone is still arguing about chatbots.
[09:53] Is Jensen Huang the most underrated player in quantum right now, or am I reading too much into it?
[09:58] Drop your take in the comments.
[10:00] I read all of them, and the next video gets built around the sharpest one.
