[00:00] Like, where do I even start?
[00:03] No script, just scripture and the Holy Spirit.
[00:09] So, it says, "Dear brothers and sisters,
[00:11] when troubles of any kind come your way,
[00:13] consider it an opportunity for great joy.
[00:16] For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.
[00:20] So, let it grow.
[00:23] Like, okay.
[00:25] Like, no no sugarcoating, no babying, no pacifier.
[00:29] It says, "If um your endurance has a chance to grow, so let it grow."
[00:40] Plain and simple.
[00:42] For when your endurance, okay?
[00:44] Talking about endurance again.
[00:47] When your endurance is fully developed, you'll be perfect and complete and need of nothing.
[00:54] Now, if you go to the beginning, "Consider it an opportunity for great
[01:00] joy.
[01:04] Some translations says, "Pure joy."
[01:05] So, God is like, "Look, if you have to endure something, when trouble is coming your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy."
[01:18] Consider it a challenge.
[01:18] Some people, they like to be challenged.
[01:20] Some people do not like easy stuff.
[01:24] I'm that way with some things, especially when playing a game.
[01:27] You know, they give you the levels of easy, medium, hard.
[01:29] Me, depending on what type of game it is, I'm going low-key sometimes, straight to the medium, or maybe even a hard, just to challenge myself, especially if I see that it's something that I can take on.
[01:42] That's how some people are.
[01:42] You know, they say very intelligent people get bored easily.
[01:47] Sometimes, especially they say that about some students, that they'd be like, "Those are the star students.
[01:53] If I give them a little fill-in-the-blank, you know, worksheet, they're going to be like, "Next."
[02:00] Like, I want something that's challenging.
[02:01] So, the Lord is saying, when you get that opportunity to be challenged by trials, by troubles, by tribulations, consider it an opportunity for great joy.
[02:18] For you know that when your faith is tested, when these trials come, it's going to test your faith.
[02:26] It's like a faith a Ooh, like a thermometer, but instead of a thermometer, it's like a faithometer.
[02:33] Where does your faith lie?
[02:33] Some people, we like to boast, you know, as believers, "Oh, I'm faithful. Ooh, I got so much faith, and I believe this, that, and the other."
[02:42] But, the minute a high wind or a strong wave comes against us, we're like, "Hold on, wait. Lord, where you at?"
[02:51] And God is like, "I'm still here."
[02:53] Do we really have faith like we say we do?
[02:55] And it's not that when our faith is challenged, God is laughing in our face when we have little faith.
[03:00] Because look
[03:01] at the man with the When his When his son was convulsing convulsing or convulsing and foaming at the mouth with a demon,
[03:11] um the the man told Jesus, "Lord, I believe, but help my unbelief."
[03:18] Now, Jesus was low-key upset at his disciples that they couldn't cast that demon out,
[03:26] and he told them, "These some of demons come out only by prayer and fasting."
[03:31] But, whatever the case may be,
[03:34] God is not laughing in our face when we lack faith.
[03:41] But, he's also not sitting there with the biggest smile ever like a proud father.
[03:45] He's probably like, and this is just me speaking, I don't know, but he's probably thinking like,
[03:51] "Look, I put this in front of you, and I see your end result of you already getting through.
[03:57] Can you just follow the steps? Or can you just have faith? Can you just do what I told you to do? Or can you
[04:03] Just be still?
[04:05] Whatever prophetic or specific instruction that the Lord is giving you for that test of of your faith?
[04:13] You have to pass the test in order to get to the next level.
[04:18] You have to pass the test in order to get your degree, a certain degree, your doctorate, you have to pass the bar.
[04:22] You have to pass your medical exams.
[04:24] You have to pass your driver's test to get a license.
[04:26] These are tests that you have to pass to get to the next level or get something that you want to be qualified for.
[04:34] And sometimes in life, we have to pass the faith test.
[04:38] But as human beings, we want everything so easy.
[04:41] We want everything handed to us.
[04:44] We don't want to face anything.
[04:46] And sometimes God is allowing tests, trials, troubles, and tribulations, high waters, high waves, and sometimes allowing the gates of hell to challenge you so that you develop endurance.
[05:05] For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.
[05:08] So, let it grow.
[05:11] For when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete and needing nothing.
[05:18] God is like, "Your challenge? Hmm, this a chance for your opportunity and this is this is the opportunity and a chance for your endurance to grow."
[05:28] The way that God works, he sets it up in our favor, no matter what.
[05:33] Romans 8:28 says, "All things work together for the good of those that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose."
[05:39] All things work together.
[05:42] You don't have to look at a trial and be like, "Oh, this thing not working. This not working."
[05:48] I'm like, he said all things work together for the good of those that are called according to his purpose.
[05:55] If you believe that you are called, like he said in in the beginning of Ephesians in the book of Ephesians as well that you are called, you are chosen before he even created the heavens and the earth.
[06:05] If you truly believe that,
[06:07] you should stand on Romans 8:28 and know
[06:10] that all things work together.
[06:13] So, whatever you are facing,
[06:16] have faith in God that it's already been
[06:20] worked out.
[06:22] Cuz he said all things work together.
[06:24] It's funny how
[06:26] you have to pay attention when you read
[06:27] the Bible, the word choice that the Holy
[06:30] Spirit
[06:32] uses.
[06:34] Because it says that scripture is God
[06:35] breathed. This scripture it was written
[06:38] by men, but it's God breathed. This is
[06:39] God all over this word. So, he said all
[06:42] things work together. Even back then
[06:46] when that scripture was applied and read
[06:49] and written by Paul
[06:52] in the book of Romans
[06:53] thousand and thousand years ago still
[06:55] applies today thousand and thousand
[06:57] years later.
[07:00] All things work. It didn't even say all
[07:03] things might work together. It didn't
[07:05] Say a few things might work.
[07:07] It didn't say just a dash or a just a hint of things will work.
[07:10] It says all things will work together.
[07:17] So, when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.
[07:21] Your faith will be tested.
[07:25] You will have a challenge that comes your way.
[07:30] Especially for those in the will of God.
[07:34] Especially for those that are following God.
[07:36] Especially for believers.
[07:38] I'm talking to Christians.
[07:41] I'm not talking to an unbeliever or an atheist.
[07:44] I'm talking to a believer.
[07:46] Your faith is going to be tested.
[07:48] So, why do we why are we so surprised when our faith is tested?
[07:54] You are believing God for something that you know he said that you would get.
[07:56] Something that he know you know he said that YOU WOULD DO.
[08:00] SOMEWHERE you know he said you would be.
[08:02] Fill in the blank with whatever promise or prophecy that God has already decreed.
[08:06] and declared over your life.
[08:09] For when your faith is tested.
[08:11] Means that your faith will be tested.
[08:12] So, why when we get tested, we confused?
[08:15] Why when we get tested, we so flustered?
[08:17] Why when we get tested, we crying out to God every 5 seconds?
[08:22] And he's like, "Suck up your tears, gird up your loins, grab your sword, and get to work.
[08:28] For this is an opportunity.
[08:31] This is a chance for your endurance to grow.
[08:34] It's like when you are sitting on the bench as a basketball player, and you know you got the talent and the skills, and the coach is like, "Man, this game not looking too hot.
[08:46] My starters is Oh, well, maybe you are a starter if you really good.
[08:49] But, whatever the case may be.
[08:51] No, actually, let's go Let's go with that Let's go with that route.
[08:53] I feel like this is what the Holy Spirit is saying.
[08:54] Let's say you you you are very good at the game, and your coach, you know, give you chances here and there, and all the starters that he usually use, they getting injured left and right, and you know, blah blah blah X Y
[09:09] Z, the game is crucial to win, you know, the shot clock is going down or whatever, and he looks at you.
[09:13] The coach is like, "Hmm, you know, I know this person is capable, and they may not.
[09:19] You know, they may not be the best the best by my standards, but you know, they could shoot some shots, you know, play a little defense, play a little offense.
[09:28] They may not be a starter, but they're good.
[09:30] And the coach looks at you on the bench.
[09:33] And it's your opportunity to shine.
[09:35] The The coach is calling you in the game.
[09:39] What you going to look at the coach?
[09:40] I'm not getting in the game because you know this too much for me.
[09:42] It's too intense.
[09:45] I'm not getting in the game because you know what you should have asked me to get in the game last time.
[09:47] No, I'mma let y'all lose.
[09:49] I'mma let the team lose.
[09:51] No, if the coach gives you an opportunity and looks at you on the bench waiting because you prepared for that specific time.
[09:57] God knew that divine moment would come.
[10:00] Get your behind off the bench and get in the game.
[10:02] Put your pride aside and get in the game.
[10:06] Lace up your boots and put on your backpack.
[10:11] Consider it.
[10:14] Consider it an opportunity for great joy when troubles come your way.
[10:19] For this is a chance for your endurance to grow.
[10:25] This is an opportunity for your endurance to grow.
[10:27] Okay, look at the verse four.
[10:27] It says, "So let it grow.
[10:30] For when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete and needing nothing."
[10:35] This is God math.
[10:35] That's a term that the Holy Spirit gave me.
[10:38] I know he gave it to me.
[10:39] Maybe he gave it to somebody else, too.
[10:41] That's okay.
[10:41] I just know I didn't get it from nobody else.
[10:44] When the whole trend or ordeal was about like the girl math, you know, girl math.
[10:48] This is girl math, you know.
[10:50] Yeah, God math.
[10:53] God His scriptures are like formulas, especially when you read the book of Proverbs or Psalms or even Deuteron- Deuteronomy Deuteronomy.
[11:03] I struggle saying that word sometimes.
[11:07] Okay.
[11:09] God has formulas in there.
[11:09] Like if you X
[11:12] Y Z, then I will X Y Z.
[11:17] If you obey me X Y Z X Y Z.
[11:20] If you abide in me, I abide in you.
[11:21] Whatever the case may be, there's so many scriptures of God math.
[11:24] If you do this, you do that, then this will be the outcome of that.
[11:27] Especially that scripture.
[11:27] I really I think I really originated it from um from the Holy Spirit when I was reading the uh this the verse that says,
[11:35] "If you humble yourself and seek my face and cry out, then I will come into the land.
[11:39] I will pour you know, I will heal the land."
[11:41] This is God math right here.
[11:44] So, troubles come your way.
[11:48] Okay?
[11:49] Plus, your faith being tested equals a chance for endurance to grow.
[11:58] For endurance to be fully developed.
[12:01] For you to be perfect, for you to be complete, and for you to be needing nothing.
[12:04] Some scriptures say lacking nothing.
[12:07] This is needing nothing.
[12:11] So, God is like, "If you got a trial,
[12:15] a trouble, a tribulation, a test coming your way,
[12:20] that's an opportunity for for you to be joyful because your faith is about to be tested and your endurance has a chance to grow.
[12:29] Do we understand what the word endurance even means?
[12:31] Let's go over that.
[12:34] So, the definition of endurance, the ability to withstand hardship or adversity.
[12:40] Especially the ability to sustain a prolonged stressful effort or activity.
[12:45] So, God is just basically saying build He wants you to build resilience.
[12:48] He wants you to build endurance.
[12:51] You have many trials and troubles in this world, but don't worry, I've overcome the world already.
[12:57] I've overcome all those child trials and troubles already.
[12:59] So, that should give you comfort in itself.
[13:02] God allows these trials and tests to just make us better.
[13:06] To just make us perfect in him.
[13:08] To just make us stronger.
[13:11] God is like like I said, the example of the coach.
[13:16] He's the coach, but he's like the personal trainer.
[13:21] Many people have used this example before in um speaking, but I know I heard Apostle Randolph say at the Wildfire conference.
[13:29] And he was talking about it's like imagine being someone that's trained in the gym.
[13:33] You do a 5 lb for you know, maybe like a few weeks and then your trainer is going to add more weight at some point because they want you to what?
[13:41] Get stronger.
[13:43] They want your muscles to tear and go through the process of of becoming stronger, more resilient.
[13:50] If you walk around as a person that never go through nothing, everything is dandy and perfect in your life.
[13:56] The minute something come against you, it's going to knock you completely off your feet.
[13:59] But imagine people that have to go through stuff.
[14:02] Yes, I know sometimes it's too much.
[14:04] It's overwhelming.
[14:07] But imagine people that go through stuff and they knock it out of the park by overcoming that challenge, overcoming that heel, facing that devil in the face, knocking that devil out, giving
[14:17] him a black eye, killing his demon, killing that demon, bop bop bop bop bop.
[14:22] left and right.
[14:24] And then finally, they have victory and then another test and trial comes.
[14:33] They're going to be what? Trained and prepared for that trial.
[14:35] That's why he wants you to give an opportunity for your endurance to grow.
[14:42] He wants you What does it say? Endure to the end.
[14:46] That's what the scripture says. Endure to the end.
[14:48] I don't know where that scripture is, but I know it's in the Bible.
[14:52] Endure to the end. He wants you to be able to have endurance because what you going to be going up against is a lot.
[15:00] Matthew 24:13.
[15:03] But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
[15:05] I think I want to read that NLT version because I don't be reading King James like that.
[15:10] NLT, hello.
[15:15] Okay, I don't see it, but I'll read a
[15:17] different version.
[15:17] A new King James.
[15:20] But says, "But he who endures to the end shall be saved."
[15:21] Oh my gosh, endurance.
[15:25] Wow, endurance.
[15:25] This is This is a popular word from God.
[15:29] This is something that he wants us to be strong in.
[15:33] To have a strong character, someone that's resilient.
[15:35] Do you know resilient people bounce back?
[15:38] I remember I learned about it in
[15:41] To be resilient is like you're a rubber band.
[15:43] As soon as you stretch that rubber band out as far as you can get get it, it's going to pop right back to its original form and shape as if it was never stretched to begin with.
[15:52] Some rubber Some rubber bands don't do that.
[15:54] Especially if you're a girly with a hair scrunchie.
[15:56] I say scrunchie or scroundgie, I don't know.
[15:58] Whatever, you know what I'm talking about, a hair tie.
[16:00] If you stretch it out eventually over and over and over, it's going to lose its form.
[16:06] But in this case, I'm talking about a rubber band.
[16:07] It's going to bounce back, baby.
[16:09] It's going to bounce back.
[16:13] That's exactly what God wants you to be, that type of person.
[16:15] Look, devil, you throw this at me from the north, south,
[16:18] east, or west, guess what?
[16:19] I'm going to throw it right back.
[16:21] And guess what?
[16:26] Jesus said, "If I endure to the end and allow my endurance to be fully developed, I get a prize in the end.
[16:30] You don't get nothing.
[16:32] You get your butt kicked, and you still going to be locked up in hell forever and ever in the end.
[16:36] You still lose.
[16:40] But when we face trials and our faith is tested and we allow our endurance to grow, God says, "I will reward you for that."
[16:47] What?
[16:47] What What is the reward for being someone that's able to endure?
[16:52] You will be perfect
[16:54] and complete
[16:56] and needing nothing.
[16:58] And that's exactly what I want to be.
[17:01] I know life is hard.
[17:03] It ain't easy for no I don't even care if you have $5 billion.
[17:06] Life is not easy for nobody.
[17:07] As long as you live on this green earth that God made, the earth is the Lord's and fullness thereof.
[17:11] Yeah, everything,
[17:13] you're going to be facing something.
[17:16] But I just want to challenge you.
[17:18] Like God said,
[17:20] When your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.
[17:23] So, let it grow.
[17:24] Because as you're letting it grow, your endurance will soon be fully developed.
[17:29] You'll be perfect and complete and needing absolutely nothing.
