[00:27] Well, Glory, Glory.
[00:31] Let's pray and we'll get right into the word.
[00:36] Father, we thank you and we praise you for the privilege to gather together around your word.
[00:42] It is our sincere desire to know you more perfectly that we may serve you more faithfully.
[00:51] We thank you that we can call you Abba Father and that you're not ashamed to call us your very own children.
[00:58] We thank you for Jesus, our great Redeemer, our High Priest, and our coming King.
[01:05] We thank you for the Holy.
[01:08] Spirit, whom you have sent into our midst to be our teacher and to be our guide, we thank you that he will guide us into the truth.
[01:18] We know that he alone is the teacher and the guide.
[01:20] Without his anointing, we can do nothing as we ought to do it.
[01:26] Without his inspiration and revelation, we can know nothing as we ought to know it.
[01:32] But we do rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory that he is here and that he will guide us into the truth.
[01:40] I thank you that even now he is anointing every ear to hear and every heart to believe.
[01:47] And I thank you that my lips are now anointed to speak your word, that I will speak it accurately, and that revelation knowledge will flow freely in this service tonight, unhindered and unchecked by any force.
[02:00] I thank you that the supernatural will be in manifestation to bring glory to your.
[02:09] Name Deliverance to your people.
[02:12] And I thank you Father that your word declares that greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.
[02:18] Therefore with great boldness and confidence I look to the greater one who indwells me.
[02:27] And I know that he will speak through my lips, he will think through my mind, and he will minister through this vessel of clay to your people.
[02:33] And for all that shall be revealed and for all that shall be manifested, we promise and we covenant with you now in advance before we ever begin that we will give you alone all of the praise, the glory, the honor, the adoration, and all of the thanksgiving.
[02:50] But we ask it in Jesus' mighty and majestic name.
[02:52] And all who agreed with that prayer said amen.

[03:02] Then they said good evening Fred, good evening Fred, good evening.
[03:13] Y'all, about 35 years ago I had an encounter with Jesus Christ and I was born again.
[03:21] First year of our marriage, very shortly thereafter, I had an experience where, what to me at the time was an audible voice, I realize now that it was not audible to anybody else in the building because no one else heard it.
[03:37] But I heard it, and it was very real to me, and I heard this voice say that you are to preach my gospel.
[03:44] For 17 years after that, I struggled in the Christian life.
[03:50] I had my ups and downs, mostly downs and very seldom up.
[03:57] It was a hard, hard way to go.
[04:02] And I used to read the book of Acts and it would stick in my craw.
[04:09] It bugged me, it bothered me.
[04:13] I was not seeing in manifestation in the ministry.
[04:17] That I had, and very few, if any, that I knew of at the time where these things were occurring, the signs, the wonders, the supernatural manifestations.
[04:26] And I began to cry out to God.
[04:31] I knew that he had spoken to me.
[04:32] I knew that he had called me, but I was ready to give it up, forget it, because there was no power in it.
[04:36] I was dissatisfied.
[04:39] My own life was a wreck of shambles, a struggle.
[04:42] And somebody gave me Katherine Kuhlman's book, I Believe in Miracles.
[04:48] Then I read another book, God Can Do It Again, and I knew that there was a reality.
[04:53] I knew that what the Bible said was alive today.
[04:58] Well, to make a long story short, I found out that what I needed was the power of the Holy Spirit.
[05:02] So in 1970, I was filled with the Spirit.
[05:06] Shortly thereafter, someone gave me some books by a man named Kenneth Hagin, and I read those books.
[05:12] The Authority of the Believer, Right and Wrong Thinking, What Faith Is.
[05:18] And several other books, and it forever transformed my life.
[05:24] I had received the power in the spirit of God, but I didn't know how to harness that power to my life.
[05:30] And over the years, I've seen how there have been many that have been filled with the spirit, truly filled with the spirit, the power of God in their life, and yet that power not really transforming and changing their lives.
[05:43] And the spirit of God gave me an illustration somewhat like an automobile.
[05:46] You can have a chassis, you can have an engine, and you can have one of the most powerful engines in the world that perhaps could turn that car down the highway at 200, 300 miles an hour.
[05:57] But if you don't have a gearbox and a drive train to transfer the power of that engine to the wheel of that car or wheels of the car, it'll go nowhere.
[06:08] So you can have the power, you can speak with tongues, you can be full of the spirit of God and still be beating your wife, beating your children, bound by.
[06:19] Everything you can think of until you learn how to harness that power to the wheels of your life.
[06:27] Now what I want to deal with, and as I've been sitting in the meetings, um, I have been disturbed, and that's probably my particular challenge.
[06:40] But as I've often told my wife, I don't really think I'm for this world.
[06:47] I really don't think so, and sometimes it's very disturbing.
[06:53] But what I want to deal with, this is what brought me into the fullness of God, signs and wonders.
[06:58] And this is what brought me into the charismatic bible ministries, is the fact that it was based upon signs and wonders and of course love and unity through these things.
[07:08] And that's great and it's wonderful and I thrill in it.
[07:12] And that's the reason why I got involved or became involved, because I don't need to get involved in anything else.
[07:16] I'm doing plenty; I got a lot to do.
[07:18] I don't need to be in any more meetings.
[07:19] I don't need to go to any more conferences per se, but this was something I felt that was special.
[07:26] So I believe that maybe the Lord has given me this opportunity because I certainly did not know I was going to speak.
[07:33] Because I don't need to speak when I go somewhere; I like to go and be ministered to.
[07:36] I'm speaking all the time.
[07:38] I don't need to be heard; I just need to be seen.
[07:44] So I was minding my own business, and Billy Joe came up to me and put a 44 magnum to my head and said, "You are going to minister."
[07:52] I said, "I think you're right, praise the Lord," not really, but anyway, he asked me.
[07:56] What I want to do is I want to share something that hasn't been shared yet this week, and I think that this will just be another something to give us an opportunity to think about.
[08:07] I want to go over on the other side of this.
[08:09] There is two sides to every coin.
[08:15] There's an East, but there's the reciprocal which is the West.
[08:18] There's the North, there's the South, there's the up, there's the down.
[08:21] There's another side to the signs and wonders.
[08:23] I don't know whether you realize it or not.
[08:24] I believe in the signs and wonders, and the signs and wonders are manifested in my ministry as the Spirit of God directs and as He wills.
[08:32] But whether you realize it or not, signs and wonders are not for Christians.
[08:43] Now, we love them, we like them, we want to be where they're happening.
[08:52] We want to operate in them because when we do, it's easy because the Holy Ghost is doing the work.
[08:59] All we've got to do is ride.
[09:05] They have their place.
[09:08] They are actually God's two-fold benefits to His church.
[09:13] One is to empower the ministry gifts, the spiritual.
[09:22] Gifts are actually the equipment to equip the ministry.
[09:24] Gifts, apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors, and teachers, they will operate in any spirit-filled believer as the Holy Ghost wills, but they're primarily the tools of the trade for the ministry.
[09:36] Secondly, they're God's method of advertisement, not for Christians, but for sinners, for the world to know the reality and the power of Almighty God.
[09:52] The Bible does not say that without gifts of the Spirit it is impossible to please God.
[09:58] It says without faith it is impossible to please God.
[10:02] God does not require sinners to exercise faith.
[10:05] It's impossible for them to do so because they're spiritually dead and there's no way they could have the faith of God.
[10:12] But we're the children of God, we're born again, we're the family of God.
[10:20] God expects us to operate by faith and many.
[10:23] Of us you're going to go back to your churches.
[10:25] You're going to go back to your Ministries and you're going to be turned on.
[10:28] But you better realize dear precious brother and sister in Christ that when you get back to your home turf you're not to walk day by day by gifts of the Spirit.
[10:38] You are to walk day by day by faith.
[10:41] And as you walk by faith and as you fulfill your ministry and fulfill your calling and fulfill your assignment then the supernatural will come into play to push you through and make good through your ministry what God has called you to do.
[10:55] So I want to talk about the other side of the coin.
[11:00] This side we've heard a lot about.
[11:02] I'm all for it, hey that's why I'm here.
[11:04] I have no problem with it at all.
[11:05] I just feel that there is another side and we need to deal with that side too so that when we go back we don't think that from sunrise to sunset it's going to be one Miracle after the other one Supernatural manifestation because it ain't.
[11:18] And you need to know that and you're living in a Fool's Paradise if you think it's going to be.
[11:23] So it ought to function, they ought to.
[11:26] Operate I expect them and they do in Ministry.
[11:34] But for me personally to walk with God I have to walk by faith and so do you.
[11:48] Now there seems to be only a few people, for instance just like how many Katherine Cumans were there?
[11:58] How many William Branham were there?
[11:59] How many Oral Roberts are there?
[12:02] How many Kenneth Hagins?
[12:04] It's amazing you wonder how come God doesn't have a thousand Oral Roberts.
[12:09] I mean just like Oral Roberts, why weren't there a thousand Katherine Cumans?
[12:13] We saw what was accomplished through her ministry and we went, I mean why wouldn't there be a thousand of those?
[12:16] I mean one operating all around the world, it seem like it would be great.
[12:21] But there only seems to be a few that recognize that call, that anointing, lend themselves to it and.
[12:27] Allow themselves to be the channel of God.
[12:29] God, well, over here in another realm, there is a place in God.
[12:32] Now, this is my assignment, see, or Robert's assignment.
[12:39] Build this University, build the City of Faith, build all these other wonderful things.
[12:43] And I'm sure glad God gave him that assignment and not me.
[12:46] Praise the Lord, hallelujah, glory to God.
[12:49] Bless you, brother.
[12:52] He knew who to give it to, but there is a place in God where we can rise above the circumstances.
[13:05] Now, I'm well persuaded that very few people seem to understand it, because if they did understand, there wouldn't be so much criticism about it.
[13:14] And I'm really a little bit up to my fullness on big-mouth people who don't know anything about it, constantly criticizing with their loose, loose.
[13:30] Lips and loose lips sing ships.
[13:36] There is a place in God give you an illustration of what I'm talking about when I first came into quote and unquote Pentecost and found out about the power of God.
[13:46] I found out that the book of Acts was alive today, that it would work now, that the power of God could be in manifestation.
[13:52] And I found out about Divine Healing at the same time.
[13:53] I found out that it was God's will for me to be well.
[13:55] I found out that I could walk in uh Divine Healing, that I could be healed of my diseases.
[14:03] And so I'd always been sick with something, so this was great for me to find out I could be healed.
[14:06] And so I I waited for Satan to put upon me some kind of a sickness or disease so I could take my new found power and knock it in the head in the name of Jesus.
[14:20] And man, I was just walking around waiting for the enemy to attack me with something so that I could pull out my sword of the Divine Healing and whack away at the enemy.
[14:30] I thought I.
[14:32] Had I arrived, I thought that I was in Nirvana.
[14:33] I thought I had come up to heaven itself.
[14:36] I was ready, man.
[14:38] I was armed with Divine Healing, and everywhere I went I was looking for sickness and disease to attack me so that I could take my faith and use that healing to destroy it in the name of Jesus.
[14:48] And of course I did, until one day I heard a man say that he had never had a headache in 37 years.
[14:57] I said, "What, what, what, what was that?"
[14:59] He said he never had a headache in 37 years.
[15:02] And I began to listen, and suddenly the spirit of God gave me a revelation.
[15:08] I found out that God's best is not Divine Healing.
[15:18] Divine health is God's best, where you don't need to be healed.
[15:29] Now, thank God for Divine Healing and.
[15:32] It's Divine Healing that can bring you to Divine Health.
[15:33] But so many of us in this charismatic renewal, we're still waiting for all of the problems and all of the attacks of the enemy to come upon us so that we can stand against them.
[15:47] And it doesn't appear to me that anybody seem to have enough biblical sense to wake up and say, "Why walk in that garbage all the time?"
[15:54] Why not rise up and live above the circumstances every day of your life?
[15:59] And then when you start talking about it, people start looking at you weird and strange because they don't understand, but that's their problem, not mine.
[16:11] I want to talk to you about the other side of the coin.
[16:14] I'm offer this, I walk in it and operate in it as the spirit wills, but from day to day I got to walk by faith.
[16:21] And there is a place where you can walk in God above the circumstances.
[16:26] Now of course that's if you want to see, a lot of you still have this little pity party attitude.
[16:31] See, I don't know whether.
[16:33] Charles, whether you got that out of them, I don't know if you mentioned that pity party stuff.
[16:36] But a lot of us, we still want to cry.
[16:38] We enjoy crying and we don't want to minute it's an ego trip that we're on.
[16:41] And it sort of makes us feel real good when we can get up to, well, I've had all these trials and all these tribulation.
[16:45] But I tell you what, I just had a heck of a week this week.
[16:48] And oh, in 1988, just been a real trial for me.
[16:50] I just don't know what I'm going to do.
[16:52] Give me a little pity, somebody feel sorry for me.
[16:55] I'm really having a hard time, whoopy do.
[17:03] Well, I will not dishonor my Lord that way.
[17:08] I won't dishonor my Lord that way.
[17:12] Jesus is my example, not Oral Roberts, not Kenneth Hagen, not Fred Price, not you, not me, not us, not y'all.
[17:25] Jesus is my example.
[17:29] The Bible says looking unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of my.
[17:36] Faith, not looking to the circumstances, not looking to the devil, not looking to the demons, but looking to Jesus.
[17:46] He's my pattern, he's my schematic diagram, he is my blueprint, he is my leader, he is my example, he's the one I follow.
[17:55] Come hell or high water, I'm following the man.
[17:59] Yes, and if I have to follow him by myself, so be it.
[18:04] Amen, I'm going for God's best.
[18:08] I don't believe in settling for less than the best.
[18:10] God gave his best for me, and I believe that God wants me to walk in his best.
[18:15] If he didn't, why did he provide it?
[18:18] Why did he tell me about it?
[18:20] Now, I want you to look at Hebrews chapter 11.
[18:22] Now, I know for a lot of you all, a lot of these scriptures will all be familiar to you.
[18:26] But how many of you have yards that have great grass in them?
[18:28] Raise your hand.
[18:31] Do you ever water your grass?
[18:34] Yeah, just once a year, right?
[18:35] Is that right, so you only water?
[18:39] Well, I mean, after all, you watered it once.
[18:41] I mean, I mean, if you water it once, you don't need to water it again, do you?
[18:42] Oh yeah, oh yeah, over and over again.
[18:44] So for you, some of you tonight, what I'll be talking about will be a watering.
[18:49] For some of you, it will be a planting because you will never have heard it like this.
[18:53] But I believe that if you listen, it will help you to really appreciate this because you'll have an individual personal life that will prepare you to walk in this the way we ought to actually walk in this.
[19:07] So that when people are ministered to by the signs and wonders, then where do we tell them to go?
[19:16] Do we tell them that from that moment on they're going to operate in signs and wonders and that they're going to please God with it?
[19:23] No, we've got to tell them they got to learn how to walk by faith, because without faith it is impossible to please God.
[19:31] You can have all the signs and wonders and they're initiated by the Holy Ghost; we don't initiate those.
[19:34] And you can have them, they can be valid, and people can be.
[19:38] Delivered, but if you want to please God, you going to have to walk by faith, friend.
[19:43] All right, Hebrews 11:1.
[19:43] Some years back when the Lord gave me my assignment and I began to teach, I was teaching that faith of Hebrews 11:1 that when it says, "Now faith is," I believe that that faith had a tense, a time, a past or present or future.
[20:05] In other words, there's a time when faith is faith and there was a time or is a time when faith is not faith.
[20:12] And so I taught that the word in, oh, meant a time; it meant present tense.
[20:19] And one day I was teaching in a place and a lady wrote me a very nice letter, full of fire, but it was a nice letter.
[20:26] And in essence, she told me I was, you know, kind of off because I didn't realize that the word "now" is not in the original.
[20:35] Well, I'm a person that changes; I don't have a problem with changing if I find out that.
[20:38] I've been wrong I'll change
[20:40] instantaneously doesn't bother me in the
[20:41] least it doesn't make any difference
[20:42] what anybody thinks about it I intend to
[20:43] be right so I began to search it out to
[20:47] be sure that I was right or she was
[20:51] right and if I was wrong and she was
[20:53] right I was going to change so I checked
[20:56] it out and I found out that sure enough
[20:58] she was right that the word now in terms
[21:02] of being a time is not in it in fact
[21:05] really what happen there's a word or the
[21:08] better word could be therefore or but in
[21:12] other words it's a conjunction that ties
[21:14] verse 39 with verse one of the 11th
[21:16] chapter and it would read like this but
[21:18] we are not of them who draw back unto
[21:19] predition but of them that believe to
[21:21] the saving of the Soul therefore faith
[21:24] is the substance of things hoped for or
[21:27] but faith is the sub of things hopeful
[21:29] so I had to figure out what in the world
[21:31] is going on here I know that time is
[21:33] involved with faith and I know that
[21:35] that's where most people are missing it
[21:37] with faith because they don't understand
[21:41] that there is a tense to Faith and if
[21:43] you don't understand it you'll never
[21:45] walk in it you can spell it you can say
[21:47] it you can pronounce it but you'll never
[21:49] be able to walk in it until you find out
[21:51] the tense of it when is faith
[21:54] faith so I began to look at that verse
[21:58] and so I said all right let me drop the
[22:00] word now capitalize the word f and make
[22:04] Faith the first word of the sentence
[22:06] then it would read like this faith
[22:10] is
[22:12] uhoh Faith is well faith
[22:16] is is present tense because it could be
[22:20] Faith was it could be faith will be but
[22:24] when it says faith is that's still
[22:26] present tense so I back in in the
[22:29] game and so I said all right I'll teach
[22:32] it this way I still got it I can prove
[22:34] it by the word of God faith is so then I
[22:37] began to to juggle it around I said all
[22:39] right faith
[22:45] is Faith was faith will be faith is
[22:48] that's present tense Faith was that's
[22:50] past tense faith will be is future tense
[22:52] faith is so then I said all right faith
[22:55] is and I said well let me add a little
[22:57] something here I'll just mess up the
[22:58] English a little bit H we could say it
[23:00] like this faith is now now you don't
[23:03] have to say it like that but I just did
[23:06] it faith is now I'm still saying the
[23:09] same thing that faith is present tense I
[23:12] could turn it around and say faith is
[23:13] now I could say faith is I could say now
[23:16] Faith is I'm still right back to square
[23:18] one faith is present tense if it's not
[23:22] present T is not Faith whenever you say
[23:24] I know God is going to do something
[23:25] you're not in faith you're not operating
[23:27] in faith and that's why things don't
[23:28] don't working we don't even realize it
[23:30] see when you say God is going to do
[23:32] something you're saying he hasn't done
[23:33] it and he said he did it you said he
[23:36] didn't God cannot side in with you
[23:38] because you're not siding in with God
[23:40] when you say I know the Lord is going to
[23:42] then that means he hasn't done
[23:45] it and he said he did he said with Jesus
[23:49] stri you were it didn't say with Jesus
[23:51] stri you will be it says with Jesus TR
[23:53] you were healed if you were ye are if ye
[23:57] are ye is and now faith
[24:01] is and you'll never receive it for
[24:05] yourself on your own faith Until you
[24:09] realize that I've got to get it in the
[24:10] now I can't say well I I know the Lord
[24:12] is going to heal me you will you'll die
[24:14] making that confession friend because
[24:16] that's future tense and faith is present
[24:19] tense all right it says faith is the
[24:21] substance of things hope
[24:24] for so that means then that hope doesn't
[24:27] have any sub to well I'm just a hoping
[24:29] and a praying yeah you're going to
[24:33] die hope won't do you any good by itself
[24:37] until you join Faith with it hope is a
[24:40] goal Setter hope sets the goal if all
[24:43] you have is Hope then all it will allow
[24:46] you to do is to smile while the ship is
[24:48] sinking but if you put Faith to it
[24:51] you'll keep the ship AF float that's the
[24:53] difference big
[24:56] difference all right fa is the substance
[24:59] what is substance substance is
[25:00] tangibility substance is materiality
[25:02] substance in other words is that which
[25:04] your senses can contact it's something
[25:07] that can be seen smelled heard tasted
[25:11] touched substance so hope doesn't have
[25:14] any substance if you're hoping that God
[25:17] is going to heal you and that's all you
[25:19] have going for you you better find you a
[25:21] good
[25:23] doctor because you're headed for the
[25:25] graveyard Satan will take you there
[25:28] because you're not in faith yes you're
[25:31] sincere but so was the gangster when he
[25:33] broke into your house and ripped off
[25:35] your television set he was sincere too
[25:37] but he was
[25:39] wrong is that right you still
[25:42] here all right he says faith is the
[25:44] substance of things hoped for the
[25:45] evidence of Things Not Seen faith is the
[25:47] evidence faith is the evidence faith is
[25:50] the faith faith faith is the evidence
[25:54] what is evidence evidence is proof what
[25:56] is proof proof is that which
[26:01] substantiates or validates the existence
[26:04] of something you don't presently have
[26:07] because if you had it you wouldn't need
[26:08] any proof of it you'd have
[26:12] it want that light went on didn't it oh
[26:16] yeah see evidence is proof and proof
[26:19] takes the place of what it's the proof
[26:21] of until the thing arrive therefore
[26:24] proof is temporary so faith for each
[26:26] individual situation of life is
[26:29] temporary until that situation manifests
[26:31] itself then you don't need any more
[26:33] faith for that particular situation
[26:36] because you now have it in
[26:40] manifestation faith is the evidence now
[26:43] if faith is the proof or the evidence
[26:46] then Faith must be
[26:50] something Faith itself must be something
[26:53] because how could it be the evidence of
[26:55] something if it's not itself something
[26:58] something so faith is the evidence faith
[27:02] is the proof now notice this it says
[27:04] faith is the proof or the evidence of
[27:06] Things Not Seen say not seen not seen
[27:10] say not seen not seen therefore it tells
[27:13] me that when I walk by faith watch this
[27:16] now listen carefully when I walk by
[27:19] faith I leave the realm of the senses
[27:28] and that's where most of us screw it up
[27:32] we walk by the senses and not by faith
[27:34] we walk by the circumstances we confess
[27:36] the circumstances we we magnify the
[27:39] circumstances we rejoice in the
[27:41] circumstan we even make jokes about the
[27:46] circumstances don't Point rolling your
[27:48] eyes at me you better just go ahead and
[27:50] listen and receive cuz you don't
[27:52] intimidate
[27:55] me yeah we laugh oh I've had a hard time
[27:58] well I tell you what I had to I tell you
[28:00] what I had the devil on the Run bless
[28:04] God but he was chasing
[28:06] me and that's our mentality and we get
[28:10] up and just brag about how hard we're
[28:12] having it man that doesn't honor God he
[28:15] does get a little sympathy from
[28:19] people faith is the evidence when you
[28:22] walk by faith you walk outside the realm
[28:23] of the senses now notice when he said
[28:25] not seen what do you think of when you
[28:27] see the word seen right way you think of
[28:28] eyes so you think of visual perception
[28:31] but I submit to you that the word seen
[28:33] is not talking about visual perception a
[28:35] better word is that faith is the
[28:37] evidence of things not perceived by your
[28:39] senses because see if you limited it to
[28:41] just seeing then you miss out on all you
[28:44] could hear all you could smell all you
[28:46] could taste and all you could feel you
[28:48] would be limiting yourself a four fifths
[28:50] of your body's ability to feed
[28:52] information to you about the
[28:53] circumstance and the environment around
[28:55] you if you limited it just to seeing
[28:57] meaning
[28:58] so when he says seen he's talking about
[29:01] faith is the evidence of things not
[29:03] perceivable by your senses which means
[29:06] then that in order to walk by faith I
[29:08] have to leave the realm of the senses I
[29:11] cannot look at the circumstances to
[29:14] determine where I am with God I have to
[29:17] look at something else and that's what
[29:19] binds people up they look at the
[29:20] circumstan they look at the mountain
[29:22] they look at the problem and they
[29:24] confess the problem they talk the
[29:26] problem and they think they're being
[29:28] honest I did it
[29:30] myself till I got wised up with the word
[29:33] of God now notice he said that faith is
[29:35] the evidence now listen to this faith is
[29:36] the evidence the proof of things not
[29:39] perceived by the senses so if faith is
[29:42] the evidence of things not perceived by
[29:43] the senses then that means that there's
[29:45] another realm there has to be another
[29:47] world another realm where faith is the
[29:51] law we live in this three-dimensional
[29:54] world and our senses are the law

[01:03:28] realizing it because it's God my father

[01:04:05] eight-year-old son that had been run
[01:04:06] over by a car and the doctor walked out
[01:04:08] of the room and told me he was dead I've
[01:04:11] been there I've walked
[01:04:14] there I stood by the casket of my wife's
[01:04:17] younger sister who died of
[01:04:21] cancer and then shortly thereafter her
[01:04:23] husband someone jumped in a car car
[01:04:26] behind him and blew his brains out in
[01:04:27] the car he died shortly after that their
[01:04:30] oldest son committed
[01:04:32] suicide I've been
[01:04:34] there but you don't hear me talking
[01:04:36] about that because that doesn't magnify
[01:04:38] the Lord that doesn't honor him and it
[01:04:40] ain't going to bring them back to talk
[01:04:42] about
[01:04:44] it her younger brother died of an
[01:04:47] overdose of Narcotics one of her younger
[01:04:50] brothers I was there and stood on the
[01:04:52] porch when they jacked up my car and
[01:04:55] possessed it and took it away I know
[01:04:57] what it is to have something taken away
[01:04:59] from me yeah I was there when the man
[01:05:02] came in the house and came upstairs with
[01:05:04] a little two wheeel Dolly and went over
[01:05:06] in the corner and unplugged the TV set
[01:05:07] and wrapped the cord around the back of
[01:05:09] the TV pushed the dolly up underneath it
[01:05:11] strapped the court around and took my TV
[01:05:13] in repossession I've been there I stood
[01:05:16] in the court when I had to declare
[01:05:18] bankruptcy because I couldn't pay my
[01:05:19] bills and I couldn't take care of my
[01:05:21] children and my wife I've been there
[01:05:26] H I've been there when I had a tumor in
[01:05:28] my body and at that time I didn't know
[01:05:30] how to walk by the word the churches
[01:05:32] that I went to said that all died out
[01:05:34] and went out with the early church when
[01:05:35] the last Apostle died it didn't work
[01:05:37] anymore thank God for doctors thank God
[01:05:39] for medicine thank God for operations
[01:05:41] and they cut the thing out but the
[01:05:43] doctor told me that it might grow in the
[01:05:45] other side of my chest cavity later on I
[01:05:47] can't say for sure but this type of
[01:05:49] tumor sometimes will vestages of it will
[01:05:52] remain and Float over to the other side
[01:05:53] yeah and one day it did one day it did
[01:05:55] one day it came over there and it grew
[01:05:57] and grew and grew but I knew what the
[01:05:58] word said and I cursed the thing in the
[01:06:00] name of Jesus yes it took me 11 months
[01:06:03] to stand because I was a baby in faith I
[01:06:05] didn't really know it all I had it in my
[01:06:07] head more than my heart but I kept
[01:06:09] saying it I believe I'm Healed based on
[01:06:11] the word of God and Faith cometh by
[01:06:13] hearing it didn't say who you had to
[01:06:15] hear it from you can hear it from your
[01:06:16] own mouth and if you can't believe your
[01:06:18] mouth whose mouth are you going to
[01:06:19] believe
[01:06:30] see if I walked up to Oral Roberts and I
[01:06:32] said to Oral Roberts you're scared
[01:06:36] you're scared you think that would
[01:06:38] bother the man of God do you think that
[01:06:40] would bother him you know why because my
[01:06:42] words don't have the credibility that
[01:06:45] his words do he believes his word more
[01:06:47] than he believes mine or he should
[01:06:49] that's right and so when we say things
[01:06:52] like I'm sick I'm poor I can't make it
[01:06:55] I'm afraid I won't succeed I'll fail my
[01:06:58] Ministry see you believe that because
[01:07:00] you have confidence in your
[01:07:02] word you need to watch your words
[01:07:05] because death and life are in the power

[01:07:13] tongue we've been out of room for 11
[01:07:15] years 1977 we went to double Services we
[01:07:19] needed more room we found a piece of
[01:07:21] property we thought we could get that
[01:07:23] property 23 acres in Los Angeles and
[01:07:25] that's like find finding it's like
[01:07:26] finding Pearls of great prize because
[01:07:28] there ain't that much property in LA
[01:07:30] right in the middle of the city and so
[01:07:31] we went to to inquire about the property
[01:07:34] talk about fear we went to inquire about
[01:07:36] the property and and something inside of
[01:07:37] me said no we shouldn't go into this
[01:07:39] deal we we went into it and it didn't
[01:07:41] work out we didn't get the financing
[01:07:42] that we needed and so finally they gave
[01:07:44] us one last opportunity but this time
[01:07:46] they wanted us to put up
[01:07:47] $100,000 and my board said yes pastor we
[01:07:50] need to do this we ought to do it
[01:07:51] something inside said no we shouldn't do
[01:07:53] this but I didn't want to be dictatorial
[01:07:55] and so I said well okay let's go with it
[01:07:57] and you know we lost $100,000 I've been
[01:08:00] there friend I'm not talking through my
[01:08:01] hat and browing through my nose I've
[01:08:03] been there when I had to stand up on
[01:08:04] that Sunday Morning by myself as the
[01:08:06] pastor of the church and take
[01:08:07] responsibility for losing
[01:08:12] $100,000 I've been
[01:08:16] there but you think I'm going to talk
[01:08:18] about that garbage that doesn't bring

[01:08:26] but it happened I know what it's like to

[01:09:35] didn't know where I was going to get it
[01:09:36] but I tell you what by confessing the
[01:09:38] word of God we bought a 32 acre piece of
[01:09:41] property right in the Heart of Los
[01:09:44] Angeles California 14 acres for $14
[01:09:49] million black folk without selling any
[01:09:52] chitling dinners and rumy Serv
[01:10:03] what 32 Acres 32 Acres 32 Acres ain't
[01:10:07] got that many chickens in the world $14
[01:10:09] million worth of chicken and guess what
[01:10:12] without ever selling a dinner by
[01:10:14] teaching the people the word of God how
[01:10:16] to confess the word how to believe and
[01:10:18] how to give according to God's Financial
[01:10:20] program which is tithe and
[01:10:23] offerings we owe less than $4 million on
[01:10:28] it we're building now a sanctuary that
[01:10:31] seats 10,000 people and we've been
[01:10:34] working on that for 10 years to get 11
[01:10:36] years to get a piece of problem people

[01:11:47] project we'll owe less than $5 million

[01:22:54] Siege to the city they surrounded the
