https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VX_JnkdkxgQ

[00:15] pitt had braised parties but i know how to sneak me out.
[00:18] now we're seven figure meetings every day.
[00:19] we need a house.
[00:20] it's game time the game's mine you know the vibe.
[00:24] in 305 what's up everybody and welcome to don't blink episode nine with my boys two nights in the house you already know my co-host man you already know what it is.
[00:33] today another special great homegrown episode with my little dog marcelo from only in davey.
[00:46] i'm good man i'm happy to be here in this little refrigerator you guys call a studio.
[00:51] i like it i uh i became prepared and i'm honest.
[00:54] it worked.
[00:56] he was shivering oh he was sure i ain't gonna lie.
[01:00] I was freaking out my brother, so glad to have you here.
[01:03] Um, hey, this guy's hilarious. No, dope, yo, Marcelo's hilarious.
[01:09] We actually brought you up on an episode with uh when we were with uh last, we were talking about about you, man.
[01:13] I saw that, man. Trust me, I saw that, man. You're doing your thing, bro.
[01:17] You're homegrown, born and raised in Miami, right?
[01:19] Yeah, man. I was born in uh, some one of the Baptists, I guess. I don't know. A bathtub.
[01:30] Yeah, and then I grew up, went to Doral first. That's where like my first school, everyone was in Doral. And then uh, moved to South Miami. My parents got divorced. I moved to South Miami and then I started going to Sunset Elementary.
[01:40] And then I ended up at Berlin real quick.
[01:43] Talking about Sunset Elementary, you know, old lady named Mama.
[01:48] I'm so glad I got to talk about that.
[01:53] Yeah, man. It was just crazy for me because I was coming from Doral and um, obviously my parents get divorced and then I end up South Miami, different home. We moved and I just go to a brand new.
[02:01] School sunset elementary, I didn't know anybody.
[02:03] Me and my sister, like first day and my mom works.
[02:05] She works for a European company, so I'm getting up at like, you know, I'm going to school early as hell.
[02:09] I'll get on the bus, backpacking to school.
[02:11] Yeah, it's different.
[02:12] It's like, like I would go to my, I'll get dropped off, I swear, like seven.
[02:16] And then that's where you played basketball and I came from the Raleigh Academy, you know.
[02:19] Okay, oh yes, you know, everyone's wearing little polos and it's just different.
[02:23] Then I go to Sunset Elementary and I'm playing basketball, the jungle seven in the morning with Alandi Joseph.
[02:31] Alandi was nasty, okay? Alandi, this little kid, I used to call him Young D. Wade.
[02:35] He was like literally like three years younger than all of us, but he was just, he was so close to the ground, you could never touch him.
[02:43] And so like that was like my first introduction to like, all right, the world is much more diverse than the Raleigh Academy.
[02:47] Yeah, you know, and so I just started becoming, that's when I first started becoming friends with everybody in the cafeteria, all the security guards, all the ladies that cleaned.
[02:54] Like those were my friends because I didn't know the kids.
[02:55] Yeah, and so hard to get to know kids.
[02:57] You know, so I was just getting to know adults, you know, I feel like.
[03:01] i'm walking to the cafeteria like what do you want
[03:03] i'm like i don't know whatever i'm just being nice to the ladies and then
[03:05] bro i got into like a like i built a relationship with the lunch ladies like a serious relationship
[03:08] like i was coming into the lunch room and they would hook me up and like grab an extra milk here and there yeah
[03:16] and then one day like after everybody gets their food everybody's just sitting down talking
[03:20] and i would stand up for my chair i look around all right i'm just gonna get kind of boring i'm gonna go outside and like run in circles i'm gonna go see if i can get some apples or something go to the back and they're cleaning up the cafeteria
[03:29] and they have a little tv back there and i swear to you i would just sit back there while they're all cleaning the whole cafe all the cafeterias are cleaning up my call
[03:39] and then some like a younger cafeteria lady walk by who's that little kid she's like oh no that's usually me he's with me he's with me i'm his mama and so that just became my mama yo
[03:47] and then so she had a daughter and then so i would just hang out with them and then the daughter got pregnant she leaves the school
[03:52] so it's just me and mama for a while and then bro super it gets so sad now so then um mama's daughter that was pregnant she dies during labor damn so i'm
[04:02] literally a young kid this is like my first friends or my lunch ladies
[04:05] and someone dies bro like it's just so real
[04:08] like at such a young age and then i'm still kind of you know i
[04:12] i can't say i had like the roughest childhood like financially or stable
[04:15] so i have my first communion but it's crazy because i'm chilling with mama all the time and then i get my first communion and people give me money i'm dressed all nice like
[04:22] it's crazy so i end up with four i don't forget this i ended up with 400 for my communion that's the all the money i had and i was like what am i going to do with this money
[04:29] to buy an xbox or some
[04:31] but in my mind i was like my mom's getting my mom got me an xbox my dad will you know if i ask enough i can get it so i literally just got the money and i was like i want to give it to mama like
[04:39] mama something bad happened to mama so i think i have to give it to her like it was just young mind like
[04:44] it wasn't like i think it'd be cool don't you think we should help the community
[04:47] like it wasn't like that at all it was just real bro and i hate heart
[04:51] that's it dude i gave her the money and it's almost that's almost like my last memory of her is like i remember my mom drove me to this woman's house
[04:57] which is right by um
[04:59] oh because you went to the crib to grow the money yeah right right now after you give it to our school and i was just
[05:03] thinking about myself like it's kind of weird.
[05:04] the lady took the money from me though.
[05:07] yeah i feel you know it was different.
[05:08] i was like mom knew what was going on yeah.
[05:10] so i told my mom what happened.
[05:11] my mom i'm sure my mom had something to do with it.
[05:13] and then i remember just like i'll never forget.
[05:15] just like the the crib like you get there you go out.
[05:17] just give the money and then go home and it's just like.
[05:20] she knows i got her i love her whatever.
[05:22] and then as fifth grade you graduate and i never went back to sunset elementary again.
[05:25] like i couldn't even tell you anything about it.
[05:27] i just gotta you gotta go see if you can find mama.
[05:30] yo mama if you're out there i love you man.
[05:33] that was awesome yeah that was deep mama.
[05:36] he's making his.
[05:39] and that was just my attitude from then on.
[05:41] every school everywhere i went i believe i was friends with the lunch ladies.
[05:43] in college i was friends with the lunch ladies like.
[05:46] i got lunch ladies on my facebook.
[05:48] yeah i mean i got mad lunch ladies on my facebook.
[05:50] shout out to star she's about to get married to danielle that's my lunch lady from college.
[05:53] you know what i mean.
[05:54] like to talk about college that's what i want to ask you next dog.
[05:58] you left miami for college right.
[06:00] yeah so it was just tough man.
[06:01] i i'll be candid about it because it's just how i grow.
[06:03] so i grew up divorced.
[06:04] parents parents don't talk to each other.
[06:06] and so i was kind of like you know it's a little stressful you know.
[06:10] it's obviously not like we didn't have food for the next you know that wasn't like that.
[06:13] it was just my parents don't talk and that kind of messes with you.
[06:16] and a lot of times i was you know i felt like it kind of um clouded my judgment.
[06:21] clouded my mind so my focus throughout all of my senior and junior year was i have to play soccer in college and i have to leave miami no matter what it takes.
[06:30] i don't care what it is but i have to do it.
[06:31] so you know i'm fighting you know i have to play soccer i have to do this i have to go to practice like just it has to happen.
[06:38] so idea i emailed every coach in the united states.
[06:41] a university from the university of hawaii to you know the best team which is the university of north carolina.
[06:47] yes i dm'd everybody first you know dm now because i'm you know 23 but email i was emailing everybody.
[06:54] um and due to email email email email i got a few offers.
[06:57] it came down to two.
[06:58] they were both d3 because i'm i was a little young and they didn't see enough of me.
[07:02] so they were all the d1 schools all the really
[07:05] really good schools were like spend a year yeah go to a small school and then hit us up and we'd probably be super down to have you but i was like i cannot spend another year in miami going from mom and dad and the whole nine yards like i'm not dealing with that.
[07:19] so i came down to two schools and you know thank god for my stepdad and my mom that came together to be like yo wherever you want to go we're gonna figure it out yeah so it was california and ohio damn occidental university and john carroll university both really wanted me.
[07:34] occidental was a little bit i think it was going to be a little more like it was going to be like a little bit more money but i was going to much rather wanted to go to california.
[07:42] my mom basically goes no bubble we got ohio money.
[07:48] and it wasn't even the school it was like classic cuban mom like she says that and you want to go to california okay that's six hours on the plane and then you know thanksgiving christmas one two three four seven flights you know what i mean like she just they put that math in front of me and i was like all right yeah ohio it is.
[08:06] though yeah yeah they weren't thinking about my ass trying to get playing time at 30 degrees you know what I mean like that was you know but whatever I didn't care because I just want to get out so I you know they made it happen and I ended up in Cleveland Ohio no friends nobody went to this university like pretty much by myself one other kid went and he ended up leaving a year later so it was another thing like the sunset elementary thing bro I'm by myself I don't know anybody I was kind of used to it I'm like yeah
[08:31] you're looking for apples
[08:35] but now it's like chicken tenders you really know he's not the cat like my friends like where'd you get that I'm like oh you don't know star uh so so then that was those were my friends the cafeterias the soccer coaches the soccer team and then um yeah man so that was this is just such a it gets crazy because I quit soccer to do comedy so yeah
[08:55] I was gonna yeah I'll just get through it and then we'll talk about no no but I was listen you don't gotta get through it and uh yeah that's your story don't wanna hear it yeah so I um I ended up playing soccer in college my first year goes pretty
[09:07] good i got like 120 minutes which is fine.
[09:09] it wasn't great but it was fine i'm getting adjusted and then um.
[09:13] my biggest problem was my fitness cause like coming from miami.
[09:16] i'm partying like no no it's not miami.
[09:19] no.
[09:20] because clearly you just said that you were cool with all the cafeteria people.
[09:24] all right so you were sneaking in them snacks in between time through the time and after the time.
[09:31] what happened was that a lot of these kids that i was meeting at the school were kids that were like they grew up in ohio.
[09:35] there's no there's no night life there's no going out there's no partying it's soccer soccer soccer soccer.
[09:41] and i came from the place where like i was i had a little bit of natural ability to kind of be screaming you know my hips move crazy so like i have fun on the ball but they're like all right two mile 12 minutes.
[09:53] 17 minutes they're like okay this miami boy he's got touch and he can move but he can't he did something in the summer he was having fun or something.
[10:03] so i tried to flip a switch that summer.
[10:05] i did yoga every morning i'm doing yoga i'm playing.
[10:07] soccer at night have you ever done yoga?
[10:09] really?
[10:10] i love yoga though i like it i like it.
[10:12] right now.
[10:14] i have back surgery they told me to do it before then i wish i would have but anyways i started after that and it's easier to stretch then it's dope right?
[10:20] you walk in that room you start sweating immediately.
[10:22] well coaches tell you to stretch in the shower with hot water on because what the heat does is that it expands your muscles so it makes it easier like you can touch your toes in this room right?
[10:31] you can't touch your toes anywhere else but for some reason in that hot room you're like oh wow that's awesome.
[10:37] so i'm doing yoga bruh i'm training every night and then i go back to school and i hit the two mile in like 14. nice.
[10:43] and then i instead of hitting 12 sprints that i was able to do last year for out of 25 i do 18.
[10:48] so the coach is like okay and then i start getting playing time.
[10:52] but what they didn't know was that during the whole summer and as soon as the season stopped i had started doing stand up so i was going to open mics.
[10:59] i was going you know little show here little show there.
[11:01] what what drove you to that door?
[11:04] how'd you go i mean did you like comedy since you were a kid?
[11:08] um so yeah i guess that i got a dd.
[11:11] we're going all over the place with this story.
[11:12] no no no but i actually wanted to know that too like.
[11:16] i don't know like so i'm i'm purely a soccer player but i'm always messing around.
[11:19] i'm the kid that is there's annoying the parents.
[11:22] like my whole life i'm walking into my mom's room like what's that guys.
[11:25] guys bored or something you know like i hated silence.
[11:28] i hate it when things were awkward.
[11:30] i'm just trying to make it fun.
[11:32] and then you know in school i'm getting in trouble a lot talkative making jokes.
[11:35] like all of that.
[11:36] i was you know most humorous in high school.
[11:39] and then um my senior year soccer or no even worse.
[11:42] this is something for kids out there bro.
[11:43] in eighth grade my drama teacher goes man you're hilarious.
[11:47] we want you to join the acting team.
[11:49] so i go to my lunch table and i go hey guys this is awesome you're a thespian.
[11:54] the acting people want me to join that.
[11:57] and all my boys are like the what.
[12:01] through the crook so i literally because of my friends in eighth grade.
[12:04] when someone saw an inch of talent in me.
[12:08] for acting.
[12:09] Then my friends were like, I was like, you guys are probably right.
[12:13] And I told the guy, leave me alone.
[12:15] Yeah, so now the drama guy's following me around school for the next four years.
[12:16] Yo, come on, dog.
[12:18] Mm-hmm. Yo, we got a competition acting.
[12:20] I'm like, really? Me though?
[12:21] All my boys don't like that.
[12:23] They think, yeah, they don't like the guys.
[12:24] I'm not doing it.
[12:26] So my, that's my color, that's my high school career.
[12:27] This guy like, yo, Marcelo, come on, bro.
[12:29] Like you like making jokes in class, but you don't like acting.
[12:30] Like all this stuff, so looking back, you wish you would have done that.
[12:33] I kind of wish, yeah, I kind of wish I would have started this.
[12:35] You know, Troy Bolton, half soccer, half acting, a little earlier.
[12:38] Who knows where I would have been, but whatever.
[12:40] I ignored it and then senior year.
[12:41] This guy goes, yo, Marcelo.
[12:44] Um, he kind of knew how to approach me.
[12:45] He goes, yo, Marcelo.
[12:46] In March, we're about to take like 15 kids and they get to skip school for a week.
[12:48] And they're gonna go to Fort Lauderdale where 2,000 kids and 60% of it is girls are gonna be acting.
[12:59] At this convention center, you stay in a hotel for three days straight.
[13:01] And we, you know, we take you out for a week.
[13:04] And I was like, you said 60% girls.
[13:07] Like I'm
[13:10] thinking just athlete mentality like that.
[13:12] we're gonna party i come down let's go.
[13:15] so i agree.
[13:15] i started learning this monologue with this guy senior year like literally like.
[13:19] he's like yo come over before practice so i can see how the monologue is coming.
[13:23] so now i'm doing this behind my boy's back i don't even tell him i'm doing it.
[13:25] i'm just like let me just pull this off my last year let me give him this as you know thank you for believing in me.
[13:29] bro i go to the florida state thespian competition and i win dude critics choice best monologue.
[13:36] i got goosebumps like what was the monologue where'd you uh it was john leguizamo mambo mouth and it's like brother the love john leguizamo.
[13:45] oh my god do you remember it.
[13:48] i tried to think of like a couple of words and i remember it was like um come on we'll give you ten.
[13:51] come on give me 20 seconds at least because this was everything so it was so dirty it was like um i am the latino thirst quencher.
[13:59] like it was lines like that you know what i mean um.
[14:03] she calls me chocolate eyes from a john leguizamo movie mouth it's a it's a one-man show he did.
[14:11] and um this is basically like um he was a cuban cabana boy you know what i mean.
[14:17] and he's trying to get like this white girl like dude i have this whole thing i remember oh man it was crazy it was like um oh man she calls me chocolate eyes i call her my albino it beaver.
[14:30] like the craziest lies and i've had fun with it because it was all sexual and stuff.
[14:33] so bro i go i do it critics choice you are the best one of the best monologues in florida my high school hadn't won that award like in a few years prior like it was a big deal.
[14:43] i didn't realize that i was just like my parents came from miami to see the performance it's a 3000 seat theater when you get critics choice they put you in a 3000 seat theater in front of the whole convention to do your monologue.
[14:53] a monologue was like three minutes so i do that and i'm just like that's sick okay time to play college soccer i guess.
[14:59] you know so then i have that in the back of my mind i focus on soccer and then as soon as the off season starts i had been like writing like a couple of things because i listened to stand-up before going to bed i was like let me write a couple things.
[15:10] and then i go to my friend alexa and i
[15:13] Go, like, I think I want to try an open mic.
[15:14] I found this place, it's like 45 minutes away.
[15:17] I'll take, I'll get my mom to pay the Uber and then we'll do it.
[15:20] Where I go, I do it, I did a probably, call it a one to ten, was like a three or a four on the set.
[15:26] And I got off stage and it was a three or four of a set.
[15:30] And I look at my, the people that brought me there and I was like, I'm gonna drop you guys off at campus.
[15:34] But I, somebody out there told me that there was another mic tonight, I'm gonna go.
[15:37] So the first night I ever did comedy, I did two shows because I needed it.
[15:45] And then the second show, even worse than the first show, what even worse?
[15:49] The first show I got some laughs, the second show I got a cough, you know what I mean?
[15:53] So I get back to the dorm and I tell my roommate Sean Freeman, I go, Sean, I'm going to write jokes every day until I can figure this out.
[15:59] And so now I'm going to practice and I'm writing jokes and then off season's over.
[16:03] You know, I did the whole thing in the summer where I'm doing this stuff.
[16:04] I go back to school, we go to Boston, Chicago, and Canada for preseason because my coach is a big deal in Canada.
[16:11] I get, I get 200 minutes in preseason.
[16:14] I got 120 all last season.
[16:16] And I get 200 in preseason.
[16:18] And then as soon as we get back to Cleveland, we start training and I get four shows paid the same exact week.
[16:24] So now I'm leaving practice to go to the shows.
[16:27] Yeah, so now I'm getting an Uber at ten.
[16:28] We practice eight to ten every single day, Monday through Friday.
[16:31] Monday through Saturday.
[16:32] So after practice, I'm going to do a show.
[16:35] And after two weeks of that, that we just got back from Canada, Chicago, Boston, after two weeks of that, I got like physically ill.
[16:41] Like my uh my lymph nodes are popping out of my neck in practice.
[16:45] Like that, my coach sees me sluggish, everybody's asking questions and I was like, yeah, I don't know, I don't know what's going on with me.
[16:51] I'm going to go check in with some doctors and I'll let you guys know.
[16:51] I go to the doctor, the doctor's like, have you slept?
[16:55] What's your schedule go?
[16:58] Well, I got out of practice at 10 and then I get in an Uber and then I go to a show and I get home at like three and then I have my first class at nine.
[17:05] And the the doctor was like, you don't have mono, which is what this seems like because you're exhausted, you can't move.
[17:10] You don't have mono, you're just you're killing yourself.
[17:12] So I had to make a decision.
[17:14] I called my mom, I called my
[17:15] Dad, my dad's like, you better not do this.
[17:18] Like, you're nasty at soccer. I'm watching TV right now. These soccer players aren't as good as you. That's my dad.
[17:22] Yeah, and then my mom is like, follow your dream, papa.
[17:28] Like crazy, come back to Miami, you know?
[17:31] Literally come out like crazy. Yeah.
[17:34] Bro, like, I don't know.
[17:35] That's like one of those things where an 18-year-old needs to literally put his life.
[17:38] Like, needs to make a massive life decision. Yeah, you got to let it rip.
[17:41] So, so you made that decision, came back, and you've been doing a stand-up ever since?
[17:45] Yeah, I think it was the coaches. I think it was like when I sat down with my coaches like this, and I was like, I want to become a stand-up comedian and I have to quit the team.
[17:52] The look that they gave me. And then when they made me go tell the players like, you're quitting soccer.
[17:56] Like, you have to tell them yourself. Yeah.
[17:58] And I'm crying. And the seniors are like, this guy's garbage, bro. This guy faked us out.
[18:03] Yeah, yeah. He started getting playing time and then now he's out of here.
[18:07] Like that, like whole that you because college sports, no matter what division it is, they take it so seriously.
[18:12] Yeah. And when you leave something you're so used to too, you're like, am I making the right decision, dog?
[18:15] You know, like, well.
[18:16] damn what's going to happen you don't know the future you can't do it.
[18:19] but uh but obviously thank god you made a good choice dog you know.
[18:23] i saw you perform at the miami improv.
[18:24] which is legendary yeah well that's the other thing is like so.
[18:27] then as soon as as soon as i see that look in their eyes and i walk out of that locker room that first day i'm like nah.
[18:33] this i can't like mess around with this.
[18:35] you know like the same way i was married to soccer this has to be my new soccer.
[18:39] like so i'm doing shows every night i think i like to think i was the hardest working 18 year old comedian in cleveland at the time.
[18:46] like every single open mic i was there every single show i was there.
[18:49] i went to the local comedy club the best club in town i was sitting in the back taking notes watching every show.
[18:53] i didn't party i didn't go out i didn't you know i wasn't doing anything that i was doing when i was here talking to girls like none of it.
[18:59] i was just stand up stand up stand up stand up stand up mastering your crap figure it out and figure out and figure it out and then.
[19:03] i started going to new york i started skipping school to get on a train amtrak to go to new york.
[19:08] three four days skip school on monday come back on tuesday what happened.
[19:11] i was in new york.
[19:11] well sue me you know tell my mom like i just did that non-stop and then.
[19:17] when i would go to new york i would start meeting people.
[19:18] this guy's puerto rican he's way better than me at comedy.
[19:21] he's like oh come chill with us.
[19:22] then this other guy is like oh yo come through here and then it just you know i kind of just kept going back going back going back and then finally my this one time i went back this guy at this comedy club graduated from my high school graduated from belen and he's running a tiny comedy club in new york and he goes we need uh we need somebody to sell tickets.
[19:40] is that him?
[19:43] some tickets he got him right here.
[19:47] he got him right here that plug asked me to sell tickets.
[19:51] don't blink and ask yourself tickets bro every night whenever he needed and then go back and then in the summer i get my mom and my stepdad to put together a rent for two months in new york so i could live there and go out every night and do the same thing sell tickets.
[20:05] so then when i graduate college that was my last summer before i graduated college i lived in new york.
[20:10] and then when i graduated college june 1st i moved to new york.
[20:13] and then but again my parents are supporting me like this is i'm i'm taking i'm using them to follow.
[20:19] my dream it wasn't like
[20:21] you know i was making cash to feed
[20:22] myself on my rent especially in new york
[20:24] city but i ain't working
[20:25] yeah that's great the key was just every
[20:28] night bro because if not i couldn't i
[20:30] couldn't um
[20:31] justify them paying my rent like that so
[20:33] it was just every night i did
[20:34] i did over 250 shows for three years
[20:37] straight
[20:38] every year over 250 no matter what make
[20:40] it happen
[20:41] do get on stage 250 plus time so now
[20:45] fast forward right the you know all this
[20:47] stuff i'm working my ass off
[20:48] all the way until march because i
[20:50] graduated college 2019
[20:51] so i'm graduating all the way to march
[20:54] and then march i'm in chicago i'm on a
[20:55] little tour that i made for myself in
[20:57] chicago five shows
[20:58] six nights go back to new york to sell
[20:59] tickets i literally had a lot of cash
[21:02] like
[21:02] literally like in my hand that's all i
[21:03] had because i'm selling tickets comedy
[21:05] tickets it's all cash
[21:06] so i show up to chicago 300 bucks cash
[21:09] let's party for six days go back to
[21:11] new york all the coven stuff is all
[21:12] happening so it all stops
[21:14] and my mom calls me hey so you're fired
[21:17] for sure
[21:18] you're gonna have to come back yeah so
[21:20] they had to buy my ticket go back to
[21:22] miami
[21:23] i gave my mom all the cash i had left
[21:25] like just as a sign of like
[21:26] you got coins and coins no
[21:34] you know we just get i'm like let's buy
[21:35] some masks like i don't know like i'm
[21:37] just like
[21:37] i was a comedian and now i can't do
[21:39] anything so then you see me
[21:41] and you know only indeed all that stuff
[21:43] goes down and then i get to do that show
[21:44] and it's the same thing like you said
[21:46] it's like how did you get plugged into
[21:47] ollie and dave
[21:48] um another crazy story uh
[21:51] this is life bro life life is full of
[21:52] great crazy so
[21:54] when the stuff happens i get back from
[21:56] chicago uh
[21:58] to my mom and my sister and me that's it
[22:00] that's the only people in the house
[22:01] so i am coming from new york where i
[22:03] have a friend who's like 33 years old
[22:05] and he's in the hospital for coping
[22:06] so i'm thinking this [ __ ] is real and i
[22:08] get to miami where my mom is like i need
[22:10] you
[22:17] nothing can kill you like forget it like
[22:18] this is all you know whatever and
[22:21] i was the opposite i was like you guys
[22:22] aren't going anywhere like to my mom my
[22:24] sister you guys aren't going anywhere
[22:26] and if you do i'm gonna be pissed and
[22:27] when you get back i'm gonna spray your
[22:28] ass down
[22:29] like it's not a joke to me to the point
[22:30] where like my mom and my sister they
[22:32] just want to go out to
[22:33] you know eat outdoors somewhere and i'm
[22:35] having a full mental
[22:37] situation you know what i mean like they
[22:39] hated me bro i was the guy i was like
[22:41] the the the hall monitor
[22:42] i'm like did you wash your hands my
[22:44] sister wanted to kill me though
[22:47] the worst bro covered cops like to the
[22:50] point to the point where i got home my
[22:51] mom got home one day from somewhere she
[22:52] was working like making money like
[22:53] that's the other thing is like she
[22:55] i couldn't understand making money i was
[22:57] thinking life you know what i mean like
[22:58] i couldn't understand
[22:59] supporting a family so i was like mom
[23:00] what are you doing why are you leaving
[23:01] now she's like i gotta pay for stuff
[23:03] you know like and i couldn't i was just
[23:05] sober yeah they [ __ ] locking people
[23:07] down but these builds are still coming
[23:08] you know exactly
[23:09] exactly that's it so it got to you know
[23:11] and like they just it was just annoying
[23:13] i was super annoying and depressed and i
[23:15] wasn't working i was just doing nothing
[23:16] bro
[23:17] like my parents were like get a job like
[23:19] the kid that was selling tickets every
[23:20] night the hardest working kid
[23:21] is now his parents are telling him to
[23:22] get a job like that hurt me so much bro
[23:26] all the work that i had done it felt
[23:27] like gone it felt like poof
[23:29] and the media is not helping me because
[23:30] the media was like we won't be back till
[23:31] 2050.
[23:32] like i'm like i'm like scared bro for
[23:35] real
[23:36] so i'm tripping out like that like on a
[23:38] comedic note my mom is coming home and
[23:40] i'm like did you wash your hands and my
[23:41] mom was like did you even floss today
[23:46] that's actually one of your jokes yeah
[23:49] i'm like what she's like do you even
[23:51] floss
[23:52] like what does that have to do she goes
[23:53] do you know how much bacteria
[23:55] has in your mouth
[23:57] [Laughter]
[23:59] she goes stop worrying about my hands
[24:02] and worry about your mouth
[24:05] like that's how that's what they're
[24:06] hitting me with my mom's hitting me with
[24:07] the covered riddles when she gets home
[24:09] yeah
[24:09] yeah yeah that's how that's how bad i am
[24:12] so
[24:13] so she i'm getting that from just
[24:16] everywhere and then i'm like all right
[24:18] i'm hearing it from everybody my mom
[24:19] tells me to get a job this is after two
[24:21] months of me literally walking around
[24:22] the house like this
[24:23] like bad yeah trying to figure it out
[24:25] just sad bro and then i
[24:27] get a job selling selling
[24:30] home delivery medications for this
[24:33] company you know they're in north
[24:35] carolina i found them on linkedin
[24:36] and they like they were looking for
[24:37] salesmen and i'm like i sold tickets
[24:39] baby
[24:39] sold a lot of tickets baby and all types
[24:42] of people
[24:43] old young everything yeah yeah and they
[24:46] loved it they're like oh yeah we need a
[24:47] real salesman or whatever
[24:48] hired me i i meet quota three four
[24:50] months in a row they're paying me
[24:52] you know i'm like all right i've never
[24:54] had money like this in my life i never
[24:56] had like a real job like this where it's
[24:57] like automatic deposit i'm like how do
[24:59] you
[24:59] you know i mean like that was crazy i'm
[25:01] literally wearing a headset every day
[25:03] you know what i mean like
[25:04] hello miss this is very cold this is
[25:06] during cloven this is
[25:07] you know my my first day was june 8th so
[25:10] june 8th i get that job i got here march
[25:12] 15th
[25:12] so that was two months april may my
[25:14] birthday guys
[25:15] there you go it's a sign that's the sign
[25:18] so i literally i'm doing this
[25:19] job all the time and all the money that
[25:21] they're giving me i'm spending it on
[25:22] this stuff i'm like i need to buy a mic
[25:24] i need to buy a adobe premiere and i
[25:26] need to figure out how to edit
[25:27] so now i'm playing with it at night i
[25:29] hate my job so much that i'm like i
[25:30] gotta do something comedy really yeah
[25:32] this sucks so i start making these
[25:33] little videos and my third video
[25:35] is about how i'm a picky eater and i
[25:38] throw it up on take talk
[25:39] and i get 1.4 million likes
[25:42] oh [ __ ] like the most ridiculous i get a
[25:45] hundred thousand followers
[25:47] on one video on tick tock yeah and i'm
[25:50] just like all right now these videos are
[25:52] something
[25:53] let's get it so now i'm like making
[25:55] video video video
[25:56] then three videos after that i make a
[25:57] video about um how i don't miss the club
[26:00] you know what i mean the club is like
[26:01] the money olympics you know what i mean
[26:02] is there's a bunch of people hoping that
[26:04] you leave broke
[26:05] you know what i mean like they're just
[26:06] looking at you like i hope you spend
[26:07] everything you got
[26:08] you know so i make that video goes a
[26:10] little bit like viral in miami because
[26:11] we're a club community
[26:13] and then i get a dm literally the next
[26:15] day after i post that video from a girl
[26:17] that i went to high school with like we
[26:18] would go to the same parties
[26:20] and she goes hey i work with only indeed
[26:22] and we like your little videos can we
[26:24] set up a meeting
[26:26] and this is pretty funny i get into the
[26:28] meeting
[26:29] they're like yeah we like your videos
[26:30] bro like you know it'll be cool you do
[26:32] this
[26:33] i'm like okay yeah yeah i'm down i'll
[26:34] make a little recap and i go
[26:36] um but i got one other idea and the only
[26:39] way i will tell you this idea
[26:41] is if you guarantee me that only i get
[26:43] to do the idea
[26:45] and there and of course like you guys
[26:47] know only indeed
[26:48] that tell me
[26:52] like there when i said that it was like
[26:55] i could see
[26:55] the fire you know and they're like all
[26:57] right you have to tell us and i was like
[26:58] well you know dave portland
[27:00] they portray those pizza reviews i want
[27:02] to try every girl get that in miami and
[27:04] give it a rating and do it in under a
[27:05] minute
[27:06] and you know show the people all the
[27:07] groceries in miami
[27:09] and the guy that runs only indeed was
[27:11] standing there with his partner
[27:12] and this is how i knew i got the job he
[27:14] didn't say yes let's do it he didn't say
[27:16] let's get it he didn't say any of that
[27:17] he just goes to his partner and he goes
[27:18] like this he goes
[27:21] just like that that's him
[27:25] he snaps his partner hey watch out
[27:28] he's there boy right there i'm good with
[27:31] those
[27:31] two she heard it from back there i'm
[27:33] good with those no but i
[27:34] i did i did distance you're probably
[27:36] gonna get the knockout in one second no
[27:38] no
[27:39] i think he killed that cricket
[27:42] bro and i remember that because my daddy
[27:45] used to hit me with those on the way to
[27:53] the other day marcelo sends me a a
[27:55] picture and a dm
[27:57] with a selfie with my dad right
[28:00] dog selfie with my dad and i'm like
[28:03] all right
[28:08] he sent me a selfie with my dad i'm like
[28:10] okay why you got a selfie with my dad
[28:12] and then and then nah then my dad's like
[28:14] yo you're gonna um
[28:17] my dad's his dad marcelo's dad and my
[28:20] dad are friends they homies from way
[28:22] back
[28:22] my dad works with vehicles so anybody in
[28:25] miami that does vehicles and is latino
[28:27] and speaks spanish my dad
[28:28] knows him exactly and then that's miami
[28:31] and then my dad has an auto glass
[28:32] company
[28:33] so replacing windows and vehicles and
[28:36] stuff like that i think what was it the
[28:37] sunroof in the middle
[28:38] yeah you know he's uh my windshield so
[28:40] my dad leaves me at the crew
[28:42] because i oh so with my mom saying all
[28:43] that stuff to me i moved to my dad's
[28:45] house
[28:46] so when i'm living with my dad now
[28:48] that's what your dad's a covered cop too
[28:49] that's right
[28:51] but he's a little more you know what i
[28:52] mean when i would tell him to wash his
[28:53] hands he'd be like oh [ __ ] maybe i
[28:55] should
[28:56] my mom was like do you leave em plus
[28:58] it's a totally different world but
[29:00] so i'm living with my dad and i told my
[29:01] dad i got my windshield every time i go
[29:03] into like a mcdonald's or something you
[29:04] know how they got those
[29:05] things my windshield goes and he goes
[29:07] don't worry let me call my boy
[29:09] he's coming to the crib so this guy
[29:10] comes to the crib and he's funny bro
[29:12] like loud he's like this is two seconds
[29:15] bro
[29:15] don't even worry about it yeah yeah that
[29:18] is hilarious bro and then like he's
[29:20] he's talking to me he's like man i
[29:22] follow you only in day man my son he's
[29:24] huge bro you gotta see my son bro he's a
[29:27] he's badass i'm like who's your son
[29:28] he goes too nice and i see like
[29:30] everybody from only and they follow
[29:31] him yeah so i'm like screw it let's send
[29:33] him a deal
[29:35] it was epic man yeah bro that's awesome
[29:38] when i actually told him that he was
[29:39] coming on to the to the show
[29:40] and he was like oh man
[29:45] because for for me that that like like
[29:47] you're like anybody that's doing work
[29:49] bro like
[29:50] it's the same mentality like i can't sit
[29:53] you know if
[29:54] i'm going to the same cafeteria every
[29:55] day i can't go to the same cafeteria and
[29:56] i'll meet the guy
[29:57] so with the second right that tells me
[29:58] some guy's going to come you know i'm
[30:00] dapping that guy up all right
[30:02] yeah what's good my boy yo you want some
[30:05] water
[30:07] my dad told me that marcelo told him you
[30:08] want some water let me know now because
[30:10] if my dad comes in
[30:13] yeah bro so that that was yeah that was
[30:16] dope
[30:17] so so i could tell like uh like for us
[30:20] you know i mean we hate to we i i like
[30:23] to say i don't like to brag about it but
[30:24] i i like to talk about it it's um
[30:26] covered what's good for you kova did you
[30:28] pretty good during the covert times
[30:29] yeah i mean yeah the first couple months
[30:32] were kind of like you were trying to
[30:32] figure it out like everybody
[30:35] everybody thought it was fake for a
[30:36] little bit you know like this is going
[30:37] to be overwhelming
[30:38] okay next week exactly okay hold up
[30:41] what's the first one
[30:42] yeah i mean so it's great and then it
[30:44] was actually it was it was just you know
[30:47] you just broke it down it was just like
[30:48] that it was like no it's just about to
[30:49] be over
[30:50] no wait what the [ __ ] is going on and
[30:51] then i was like wait what the hell yeah
[30:53] and then it went into what we like to
[30:55] call
[30:56] that hustlers part where it was like
[30:58] okay well now we're gonna start figuring
[31:00] [ __ ] out
[31:00] right because this [ __ ] is weird right
[31:02] now then everybody and then
[31:04] it's almost like every episode we we've
[31:06] our guests
[31:07] and our stories we've all been able to
[31:09] connect at least in that part
[31:11] yeah that you know we didn't sit back
[31:14] you know i mean we we
[31:15] got up we put our smarts our hustles our
[31:18] street mentality
[31:19] yeah we gotta hustle this [ __ ] yeah it's
[31:21] crazy man yeah no i went to your your
[31:23] comedy shows during
[31:24] like the cold weekend was it last year
[31:26] yeah it was december right
[31:27] um it was yeah it was a december 26th
[31:29] like the day after christmas that's
[31:30] right that's right yeah yeah yeah that
[31:32] like laz was hosting it
[31:33] was hilarious we talked about was like
[31:36] you growing up listening to the last
[31:37] your whole life
[31:38] on the way to sunset on the way to
[31:41] sunset elementary i'm listening to dj
[31:42] live in the morning
[31:44] on the morning when i could choose the
[31:45] radio and then my mom could choose the
[31:46] radio it was oscar
[31:48] talking about situations situations and
[31:52] political stuff political stuff
[31:53] bro you know we like to bring up some
[31:56] current events in the show like we like
[31:57] to talk about a couple things that are
[31:59] happening um
[32:00] right now what's really happening is
[32:02] what's what's going on in texas with the
[32:03] snow and all that
[32:04] you told me yeah you know something
[32:06] about it i really don't know too much
[32:07] just from what i hear on social media
[32:09] and i see a lot of things going on uh
[32:11] shout out to my boy eddie man eddie has
[32:13] a gofundme i'm gonna give you all that
[32:15] go for me at the end of the show so yeah
[32:16] you know to help people out that like
[32:17] that are hurting for real but what is it
[32:19] that you were you were telling me you
[32:20] know
[32:20] it's funny because my mom is like um now
[32:23] that i started doing social media my mom
[32:24] thinks she's an influencer
[32:27] i will post some videos like about
[32:28] nothing comedy and she goes hi marcelo
[32:30] today i called out
[32:31] democrats
[32:35] okay and so she gives me the story on
[32:37] this ted cruz situation
[32:39] and it's just funny like this is like
[32:40] the power of this is this story this ted
[32:42] cruz story is actually like kind of cool
[32:43] because it's the power of social media
[32:45] doing the right thing
[32:46] so like ted cruz uh this is just from my
[32:49] mom like i don't
[32:50] you know i don't really participate in
[32:51] political discussion my jokes are not
[32:53] about it i don't really think about it
[32:54] but my mom told me that basically ted
[32:57] cru the
[32:57] texas freezes over it's going through
[32:59] hell and
[33:00] um everybody loses power everybody tries
[33:02] to turn on their their
[33:04] um heaters at the same time and the
[33:06] entire power
[33:07] in texas goes out so publix has i mean
[33:10] not public but their supermarkets have
[33:11] no
[33:12] no you know refrigeration like
[33:14] everything is screwed like this was a
[33:15] major major problem
[33:17] and in the you know middle of the
[33:19] situation
[33:20] somebody catches ted cruz getting on a
[33:22] plane to cancun
[33:25] so the back in the day somebody would
[33:27] catch ted cruz they're going to play in
[33:28] cancun put it on their story maybe a
[33:30] couple people send him a message and
[33:31] that's it
[33:31] today ted cruz take a picture and then
[33:34] his
[33:34] running the guy that's running against
[33:36] him next year is posting it he's
[33:38] verified on twitter and he's posting it
[33:39] look who's on the plane vote for me
[33:44] so that comes out my this is all my mom
[33:46] like
[33:48] he has to come back the next day
[33:51] like so twitter basically brought ted
[33:53] cruz back from cancun
[33:55] and put him on camera the next day like
[33:57] why were you in cancun yeah
[33:59] people are here and all this [ __ ]
[34:01] happening so then ted cruz just has to
[34:03] do one of those you know
[34:04] the back pedal hello everyone um i
[34:07] apologize for the circumstances of this
[34:08] situation but yeah it's crazy right now
[34:10] because this is throws over
[34:12] yeah it's crazy it's crazy i got a few
[34:13] friends out there you know so
[34:16] for real man stay keep your heads up you
[34:18] know i think the power grid
[34:20] was today i got the story about the the
[34:22] grid like coming back
[34:23] a little bit the state of emergency is
[34:25] no longer uh in place like they called
[34:27] it off so
[34:28] it's getting a little better but yeah
[34:29] that's that's crazy my mom broke it down
[34:31] i had read it today too that is fort
[34:32] worth everyone has seen the coldest
[34:34] temperatures in a generation two degrees
[34:36] below zero
[34:37] that's crazy that's crazy listen i don't
[34:38] like to get too political either but uh
[34:40] that global warming i mean look into it
[34:42] bro
[34:44] yeah there's something going on there
[34:45] though that's i think i can agree with
[34:46] that i think i can we can this podcast
[34:49] this is not even a political thing look
[34:50] into it yo yeah yeah
[34:53] everybody oh yeah another thing that we
[34:56] bring up every podcast dog this is
[34:58] this is like this is like mandatory on
[35:01] this podcast
[35:02] so when they signed the covet bill um in
[35:05] that covet bill there was something that
[35:07] said that
[35:07] uh 180 days from that day they had to
[35:09] release ufo information anything they
[35:11] had on aliens the government had to
[35:12] release it
[35:13] so right now there's 127 days uh left
[35:16] 127 days left so they have the reason
[35:19] 127. what's your take on on aliens and
[35:21] ufos do you believe in it do you
[35:23] have ever thought about it um so
[35:25] whenever people
[35:26] ask me questions like this i have two
[35:28] sides of my brain there's one side of my
[35:30] brain that's like the young kid like you
[35:32] know what i would want to say which is
[35:34] like
[35:34] i'm sure there's something out there you
[35:36] know i think it's you know the world is
[35:38] so big the universe is so large
[35:40] i imagine there must be more life right
[35:42] you sound like
[35:48] [Music]
[36:10] until aliens are booking comedy shows i
[36:12] don't care bro
[36:13] let's talk about [ __ ] comedy shows
[36:15] like what's what's look what's yeah
[36:16] what's the next vibe what's the next
[36:18] vibe
[36:18] man um so basically 2021 marcelo [ __ ]
[36:22] looking like
[36:22] yeah man i i want to get back on stage
[36:25] ideally man that's like where i feel
[36:26] most comfortable these videos have kind
[36:28] of been like my
[36:29] way to get back on stage without having
[36:30] to get back on stage so ideally in 2021
[36:33] i just want to figure out a way to have
[36:34] a
[36:35] consistency like i want marcelo
[36:38] comedy and only indeed to be a
[36:39] consistent like right now i wish i could
[36:41] be like yo
[36:42] february 39 like whatever it is february
[36:44] 39th all right guys
[36:45] see you there like i want to be able to
[36:48] do that every you know
[36:49] whether it's two months away three
[36:50] months away whatever it is i just wanted
[36:51] to be consistent so i'm
[36:52] i'm working on that because i think
[36:54] that's where um that's where i'll become
[36:56] more
[36:56] like really comfortable with myself yeah
[36:59] right now
[37:00] and develop more yeah and develop more
[37:01] yeah right now i'm still in this
[37:02] uncomfortable place where like i go into
[37:04] an office the you know
[37:05] oid i'm working on that side of it i
[37:07] come into a podcast but like
[37:08] you know for the past five years every
[37:11] night i was like all right eight o'clock
[37:12] hit
[37:12] what show am i going to go either watch
[37:14] or perform at so i want to get back
[37:16] as much as possible to well stage time
[37:18] yeah i mean most definitely the way
[37:20] you've been you know i'm saying showing
[37:22] your work ethic
[37:23] and showing the way you've been you know
[37:25] diversifying and developing you know
[37:27] what i'm saying a lot of people like you
[37:28] and a lot of people
[37:29] are you know you have open hands with a
[37:32] lot of people so you know i'm saying
[37:33] we're definitely
[37:34] going to be able to you know i'm saying
[37:36] point you in the right direction man and
[37:38] if
[37:38] any door opens yo yeah coming you know
[37:41] and i really appreciate stuff like this
[37:43] because from like uh
[37:44] like from a comedian perspective like to
[37:47] be like because
[37:48] i just see it like uh you know the
[37:49] people i looked up to you know what i
[37:50] mean like
[37:51] there comes a point where all those
[37:52] people thanks but i feel old
[37:56] but not only that like the people that i
[37:58] looked up to in their city you know what
[37:59] i mean like
[38:00] when people come up in a city whether
[38:01] it's philadelphia new york wherever it
[38:03] is like
[38:04] you see kevin hart in philly it's it's
[38:06] different man like the way people
[38:07] embrace him of course he knows everybody
[38:09] that did anything so
[38:10] the like the fact that you know and it's
[38:12] obviously you know huge shout out to
[38:13] only indeed if you don't follow only and
[38:15] date and you live in miami what are you
[38:16] doing for sure um but
[38:18] uh you know the the fact that i get to
[38:20] be around like you know
[38:22] a huge fighter in miami one of the
[38:24] biggest fighters in miami somebody whose
[38:25] name
[38:26] like comes up early when you start
[38:27] talking about miami like for me to be in
[38:29] the same room and that you know
[38:30] oh there's a comic in my city like that
[38:32] to me is already like you know i'm
[38:34] patient with this i don't mind if i
[38:35] don't make it until 20 years in the
[38:37] comedy
[38:37] but little little wins like this where i
[38:39] get like a yuli or
[38:40] you know dj last or anybody to be like
[38:42] yo that kid is working like
[38:44] that's not for sure those are little
[38:46] signs but when you think uh let's
[38:48] i like to tell people i like to tell
[38:49] myself tell you the truth i need a daily
[38:50] motivation myself though
[38:51] because sometimes there's days i'm
[38:52] working my ass off i'm training i'm
[38:53] getting punched in the face i'm running
[38:55] i'm doing all these things
[38:56] i'm like damn bro does anybody ever pay
[38:57] attention and then you hear like this
[38:59] guy was talking about you you don't mean
[39:00] your name is in the right circle you're
[39:02] not doing the right thing so like bro i
[39:03] just got to keep grinding it's
[39:04] consistent and then
[39:05] like i said you go from like you can't
[39:07] even give away a ticket to a comedy show
[39:09] so now you've got a line where
[39:10] people you know you gotta tell people to
[39:12] go home so you know and that's coming
[39:14] for you dawg
[39:15] i could i listen i can't tell the future
[39:17] but i know i see i know i don't tell it
[39:19] when i see it thank you uh your
[39:21] your name deserves to be you know talked
[39:22] about when when uh we talk about miami
[39:24] especially about comedy miami you know
[39:26] sure man i appreciate that so definitely
[39:28] keep doing your thing uh
[39:29] we're gonna be we're huge supporters
[39:31] we're gonna we're behind you one
[39:32] thousand dollars
[39:33] i'll be at every show you put together
[39:40] foreign
[39:43] but yeah man this is uh this is super
[39:45] real bro i love that and i love that
[39:47] uh you know from a work perspective we
[39:50] can relate on a lot of things because
[39:51] we do a lot of stuff in the dark you
[39:53] know and stand-up comedians a lot of
[39:54] artists
[39:55] you do a lot of stuff in the dark that's
[39:57] why all the hard work gets done is in
[39:58] the dark i mean all the ideas come to
[40:00] the light but
[40:00] everything else have all the planning
[40:02] and all the putting together and all you
[40:03] don't even know who's behind these
[40:04] cameras
[40:08] yeah yeah i mean hey
[40:10] real quick before we start closing up i
[40:12] want to say
[40:13] uh check out my boy at eddie eddie
[40:17] fitness official eddie fitness official
[40:20] uh
[40:20] he's uh he's got a gofundme he's putting
[40:22] together some money for the people in
[40:23] texas anybody can help out
[40:25] you can hit him up or anybody else you
[40:26] know if you can we'll put it on the
[40:28] description we'll put it in the
[40:29] description down
[40:30] down below in the description you know
[40:31] team monster you know don't blink you
[40:32] know marcelo only indeed
[40:34] all our family we're always about giving
[40:35] back we try to feed the homeless when we
[40:36] can we i try to you know
[40:38] at least in my city i try to do as much
[40:39] as i can if i can help other
[40:41] other cities that's what we're doing um
[40:43] guys
[40:44] look out for my little brother marcelo
[40:46] coming up comedy only
[40:48] i got to ask you a question though i got
[40:49] whatever you want to close out here
[40:53] this is just about you right now because
[40:54] you know you are you leave the monster
[40:56] and
[40:56] i get an opportunity now i have the
[40:58] floor for sure um so
[41:00] what time do you wake up in the morning
[41:01] let me just give you like let me rattle
[41:02] off some questions at you and you just
[41:03] answer quickly and then i just want to
[41:04] see how i feel so what time do you wake
[41:06] up in the morning
[41:07] uh on a regular basis i would say about
[41:09] seven a.m seven in the morning and then
[41:10] what's the first thing you do when you
[41:11] get out of bed
[41:12] um i usually i go i do strength and
[41:15] conditioning
[41:15] i gotta you no no no no don't don't i
[41:17] don't want you to don't don't don't
[41:18] don't take me through the schedule like
[41:19] i'm talking like do you put your socks
[41:21] on like what's
[41:22] uh well yeah yeah yeah no i pop up i go
[41:25] straight to the toilet take a piss
[41:27] really oh yeah i brushed my teeth from
[41:29] his first guy before i pissed first guy
[41:31] first wake up in the morning piss
[41:32] excellence and then piss excellence
[41:34] [ __ ] wash my face brush my teeth get
[41:36] dressed i'm out the door quick like i'm
[41:38] going to do
[41:38] i pop out of bed i get my [ __ ] done and
[41:40] in less than 10-15 minutes i'm on the
[41:43] door can you believe
[41:44] that one of the toughest fighters or if
[41:46] the not the toughest fighter in miami
[41:48] first thing he's doing in the morning is
[41:50] is grooming is his brushing the teeth
[41:52] this guy's flossing you would never
[41:54] imagine this this guy comes out of the
[41:55] ring
[41:56] he's wearing a kid but he's fly in the
[41:57] morning by the way
[42:13] just so you know two nights gets up in
[42:14] the morning he has to kick two chicks
[42:16] out of bed
[42:18] [Music]
[42:22] that's true i gotta know that
[42:26] i i'm struggling with a morning routine
[42:28] i know that if i start getting up at 7
[42:30] a.m
[42:31] i'm gonna i'm going to level up i know
[42:33] it it's just going to happen
[42:34] because when you put when you get a
[42:35] little more of your day and you get to
[42:36] put a little more work in you level up
[42:38] it's just a part of the for sure
[42:39] but the trick to do what's your alarm
[42:41] clock what's the noise that it makes
[42:42] i got that regular apple alarm clock
[42:45] that's [ __ ] loud yeah bang bang you
[42:48] don't use like a song you don't need
[42:49] like the rock
[42:50] which one does you what do you have i've
[42:52] tried everything no i need something
[42:54] i'm obnoxious so i can just shut it off
[42:56] and but like my triggers pop out of bed
[42:58] that's it
[42:58] you know what pop up i said i sit on the
[43:00] bed probably for like 10 seconds you
[43:01] procrastinate
[43:02] i procrastinate bro if you're going to
[43:04] snooze it open
[43:05] usually you end up just turning it off
[43:08] because i do the same thing now like i
[43:09] ain't perfect
[43:10] i mean i got i i monday through friday i
[43:12] i get up early
[43:14] but others days i take off sometimes you
[43:15] know i did something the night before
[43:17] it just i just don't sometimes you don't
[43:19] feel it i don't have a fight
[43:20] so close where i'm like bro i'm kind of
[43:22] getting you know i mean i take it
[43:23] serious at all times but like i'm like
[43:25] all right cool i've got a lamp for a day
[43:26] bro
[43:26] right right right and you work out at
[43:28] night sometimes you make it a later
[43:29] thing exactly
[43:30] i gotta get up early dude two nights i'm
[43:31] telling you i'm i'm getting up early
[43:33] away from greatness but i've i've always
[43:36] i've always i've woken up early since i
[43:38] was a kid i used to love always waking
[43:39] up early
[43:40] i get on my bike hit the hood always bro
[43:42] let me play something right now yeah
[43:43] well because what was b
[43:44] what he's describing he made a video
[43:46] about it oh man that's so real let's
[43:48] hear it let's hear it
[43:49] let's hear it to procrastinate is to
[43:52] vacation like
[43:54] take small vacations from our work and
[43:56] then for some reason no no no no
[43:57] this is not the one the one that is that
[43:59] this is about
[44:00] i can't wake up for some reason
[44:03] my alarm clock is like a lullaby as soon
[44:06] as that thing goes off i'm like okay
[44:08] now it's time to go to sleep i struggle
[44:11] to fall asleep
[44:12] all night long i'm meditating listening
[44:16] to ocean noises but as soon as it's time
[44:18] to wake up i'm a sleep expert when it's
[44:21] time to
[44:22] sleep someone could fart three doors
[44:24] down and i will hear it but in the
[44:26] morning
[44:26] there could be a literal mariachi band
[44:29] in my bed
[44:31] and i will not wake up i can't that
[44:41] what's your handle marcelo hdz hernandez
[44:44] is too long
[44:45] marcelo hcc with two l's are weirdo
[44:50] and since he was talking about you know
[44:51] i'm saying the safety you know wash your
[44:52] hands and all that stuff that's real
[44:54] what we got him right now
[44:57] we got him with the official t-monster
[44:59] the official team monster
[45:01] covet cop t-shirt
[45:05] look at this wait how does this work you
[45:08] put it on
[45:08] yeah yeah look like this hold it up hold
[45:11] up hold up everybody check this out
[45:12] that's how it works
[45:14] let's go revolutionizing the game
[45:18] revolutionizing the game ladies and
[45:19] gentlemen remember what you saw at first
[45:21] don't blink
[45:22] let's go what's up talking about
[45:25] built-in yo
[45:27] hey my brother thank you so much thank
