https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTC1MyHBVF4
[00:07] The 2026 NFL draft may be over, but that does not mean the Buffalo Bills are done adding talent to this roster.
[00:11] You're watching the Bills breakdown by Chat Sports, presented by Prize Picks.
[00:16] And on today's show, we're bringing you guys the Bills UDFA tracker, a full list of all the undrafted free agents that Buffalo has signed after the NFL draft, plus 10 rookie mini camp update uh invites at the end of today's show.
[00:29] Before we get into it all, make sure you're subscribed to the channel because the coverage does not stop.
[00:33] I want to thank you guys so much for all the support that we got throughout the NFL draft.
[00:39] We crossed 15,000 subscribers here on the channel and I I can't thank you guys enough.
[00:42] Subscribe for more Bills offseason videos though because it doesn't stop here.
[00:44] A lot more to cover.
[00:46] Rookie mini camp, OTAAS, training camp, the season next year.
[00:50] You don't want to miss a thing.
[00:51] Hit that sub button.
[00:53] All right. So, as we know, the Bills are no strangers to having UDFAs rise through the ranks and end up on the 53 man.
[00:58] The ones on the roster that stand out from last year that will be, you know, more than likely on the 53man roster this season.
[01:03] Alec Anderson, I mean, he got a new deal with the Buffalo Bills.
[01:05] He's
[01:07] new deal with the Buffalo Bills.
[01:08] He's going to challenge for that starting left guard spot after the departure of David Edwards.
[01:12] And then my guy Buffalo Joe Andre, he's a UDFA, too, but he was one of the rookie mini camp updates or updates invites from last year.
[01:20] And uh he goes and gets himself a 53man roster spot and is a special teams standout, man.
[01:26] Hope he gets more of an opportunity this year.
[01:28] Shout out my guy Joe.
[01:29] But without further ado, let's get into the Bills 13 players that they brought in as UDFAS.
[01:35] And one is at a very specific position which the Bills needed and had a gaping hole in on their roster.
[01:40] And it was the fullback spot.
[01:42] And they bring in Jackson Aker out of Wisconsin fullback here, tight end, you know, running back hybrid back uh with the Badgers in his collegiate career.
[01:50] And he comes to Buffalo now to basically replace Reggie Gilliam.
[01:54] He kind of has the best inside track to make the Bills 53man roster out of any of the UDFAs that they brought in because they didn't replace Reggie Gilliam in free agency here.
[02:02] Now, the stats for him aren't going to be too crazy, right?
[02:04] Like less than 100 yards on the entire season, less is 100 yards
[02:09] on the entire season, less is 100 yards receiving, but he was a weapon utilized in that regard from time to time uh.
[02:13] through the air there on some checkdown passes and he can bulldoze over guys.
[02:16] I watched a little bit of tape on Jackson Aer here and he lays the boom in terms of blocking in the open field.
[02:22] So, if he's going to be, you know, opening holes in lanes for James Cook here to hopefully repeat as the rushing champ in the NFL, then I'm all over Jackson Aker being a member of this Bills threeman roster.
[02:33] He's the lone fullback out there right now.
[02:34] We'll see if he ends up standing out.
[02:36] The next player they brought in, Jamori Macklin, wide receiver out of Kentucky, formerly of North Texas as well.
[02:44] And funny enough, Jamori, the cousin of Jeremy Macklin, former NFL wide receiver who was in the league a lot.
[02:48] You guys probably remember him uh you know back in his Eagles and Chiefs days there.
[02:50] Now Jamori, his cousin who was at with the Kentucky Wildcats last season comes to Buffalo for this UDFA and offseason workout program and uh we'll see if he can make the roster here.
[03:01] Didn't have much of a uh it was crazy season last year with the Wildcats.
[03:03] 10 games played, but you know wasn't really too effective to be
[03:09] know wasn't really too effective to be honest.
[03:10] Maybe he's going to be a special teams guy uh for Buffalo here in terms of you know him in the return game and as a gunner.
[03:16] Uh, we'll see if he ends up making the roster, but you know, not very gaudy stats on his resume.
[03:19] Next up, running back at a pit, Desmond Reed.
[03:22] And he comes to Buffalo now to challenge and and and for that running back room that is one of the better ones in the NFL, but he was damn good as a receiving back last year for the Panthers.
[03:32] He had 317 yards through the air, including four total touchdowns on the season.
[03:36] He was pretty damn efficient, too.
[03:38] You know, four over four and a half yards per touch.
[03:41] Um, you know, he he was one of the rotational backs last year at Pit and now he gets an opportunity to try to, you know, make more of a name for himself once he gets to the National Football League.
[03:49] We'll see what he does in rookie mini camp.
[03:50] We'll keep an eye out.
[03:52] With that being said, do not jinx it.
[03:54] The Bills will have another standout UDFA this year like they had with Joanne Andrees and Alec Anderson through the years.
[03:59] There's other guys that we could talk about too that might end up being on the Bills 53 man very, very soon.
[04:03] If you hit that thumbs up icon and like this video, the Bills will find another diamond in the rough this off season.
[04:07] All right, next up, this one's going to
[04:09] All right, next up, this one's going to be fun for some folks who know their Bills history here.
[04:14] Bruno Fina, offensive tackle out of Duke.
[04:16] He comes over to the Bills as a guy who's going to see if he can become one of the Bills swing tackle options here.
[04:22] As you know, there's not a lot of depth behind Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown.
[04:25] If you guys were, you know, recognizing that name, Fina, Bruno is actually the son of longtime Bills left tackle John Fina, who was a member of those Super Bowl appearing teams in the '9s.
[04:36] Like this is an awesome full circle story for Bruno here and John of course to see his son wear Buffalo Bills red, white and blue.
[04:43] And he comes to the Bills is you know he was pretty decent last year for the most part did have seven penalties and four sacks allowed but the Bills are getting a guy who's probably more than willing to compete here as he tries to follow in his father's footsteps.
[04:55] We'll talk more about these Bills UDFAS in just a second.

[05:55] A demon pick means it's harder to hit, but it does increase your payout.
[05:57] Paul George, less than two and a half three-pointers made.
[06:00] And then Peyton Pritchard, more than four and a half field goals made for him.

[06:19] The clickable link to download the app is in the comment section and description of today's video.
[06:21] All right, description of today's video.
[06:23] All right, another wide receiver coming into the Bills UDFA list.
[06:24] Here is Max Tomzac, wide receiver out of Youngstown State.
[06:27] a guy who was breaking records at Youngstown State throughout his days in FCS.
[06:29] at the FCS level.
[06:30] And I'll tell you what, this guy has got shore hands, man.
[06:32] 97 targets last season.
[06:35] Zero drops.
[06:37] I mean, he he was a record-breaker uh throughout his time there.
[06:41] 974 yards, eight touchdowns.
[06:42] Like, he's constantly moving the chains.
[06:45] And he's pretty shifty back there, too.
[06:46] I like Tom Zack a lot, and and I'm going to be monitoring him very closely as we get into rookie mini camp and beyond.
[06:48] Another wide receiver here, Gabriel Benyard out of Kennesaw State.
[06:50] Shout out to the Owls down there who've gone uh FBS as of late.
[06:51] But Gabriel Bender comes in as another guy who was incredibly productive last year.
[06:53] 949 yards, nine touchdowns.
[06:54] He had only two drops in 96 targets.
[06:56] So, he's pretty damn good in
[07:12] targets.
[07:12] So, he's pretty damn good in that regard, too.
[07:14] A real deep threat here in Gabriel uh Bernard here.
[07:18] And look, the Bills wide receiver room is just incredibly crowded at this point.
[07:22] DJ Moore, Josh Palmer, Kusha Kir, Keon Coleman, we Skyler Bell, even Mik Cole Harman.
[07:27] We all know those are probably going to be your six wide receivers.
[07:31] And then you have Tyrell Shavers who's likely going to start the season on some sort of injured list as he recovers from his torn ACL.
[07:37] Jaylen Virgil, Trent Sherfield, Steven Gznell are a couple of guys who compete for roster spots and practice squad spots.
[07:45] Jakori Macklin, uh, you know, we got Bernard Bernard and, uh, and Tomzac there to fill out the UDFAS and this Bills wide receiver depth chart.
[07:51] We'll see if one of them is able to, uh, break out here, but there is a a wide receiver on the rookie mini camps list that I could see eventually emerging if he gets Zack together.
[07:58] Next up, we got an edge linebacker out of Memphis, Jaden Flaker, who will probably get a decent opportunity to get some run with this Buffalo Bills team here as either an offball or a a three4 outside linebacker
[08:13] offball or a a three4 outside linebacker edge.
[08:15] Um he didn't have any sacks last year with the Tigers, but he did have five pressures, had a two force fumbles, so he knows how to get his face to the football there.
[08:22] Uh and another guy for the Bills to have as as an edge uh depth piece as we get into this off seasonason.
[08:27] Another edge player from Clemson.
[08:29] So TJ Parker getting a teammate to come over for the Bills offseason activities here, Kade Denof, edge out of Clemson.
[08:36] And look, he didn't have much production last year with the the Tigers of the ACC.
[08:40] Uh 15 pressures for him though.
[08:41] had a pass break up so he can get his hands up on the football.
[08:45] 22 total tackles and he had a tackle for loss.
[08:47] So not too bad of a guy who had some okay production last year at the power five level.
[08:51] Next up, Thronon Gaines, linebacker out of Tennessee Tech.
[08:55] The Bills taking more shots on offball backers here.
[08:57] And Gaines is going to potentially get an opportunity, you know, in a pretty thin linebacker room with Joanne Drees and Kea Jenkins and Jimmy Charlo all kind of competing for 53 man roster spots.
[09:07] Maybe Gaines, you know, ends up being a standout player as he had an incredible uh level of production last year, albeit at the FCS level.
[09:13] You could send him off as a
[09:15] FCS level.
[09:15] You could send him off as a blitzer.
[09:15] He had 92 tackles, six and a half sacks, 25 pressure.
[09:18] So, he was constantly behind the line of scrimmage.
[09:21] I mean, he probably should have been playing FBS level if we're uh being real about it.
[09:25] And again, like look there, there's just a lot of competition now to be had in this linebacker room.
[09:29] You have gains.
[09:29] Flaker could play off the ball a little bit.
[09:33] Um, you know, there's still Caleb Arms or who the Bills picked up in the fourth round.
[09:36] like I love that pick and he may challenge for a day one linebacking spot on this team.
[09:40] So, the Bills certainly uh take, you know, shooting as many darts as they can at this position group because it was a thin one coming into the draft.
[09:47] Next up, we're beefing up the offensive line.
[09:49] Uh Demetrius Witherspoon.
[09:49] So, another tackle like our guy uh Fina coming out of Syracuse here.
[09:57] And look, the Bills clearly aren't as confident uh as we thought they were in terms of what they said with guys like Tylen Greybel and Travis Clayton and Chase Lunt backing up Deion Dawkins and Spencer Brown.
[10:07] So, they bring in Jude Bowie in round four.
[10:09] They bring in now two UDFA tackles and look, Weatherspoon was pretty damn good last year at uh at BC at Syracuse, man.
[10:17] Last year at uh at BC at Syracuse, man.
[10:17] Uh 72 7 basically 73 PFF grade and he was, you know, pretty consistent in both areas, the run and the pass.
[10:24] Four sacks allowed, three penalties.
[10:24] But man, you you could have shown me the stats on half the linemen that were drafted on day three and I would have been like it would have looked any different than Weather Spoons here.
[10:33] So, I think the Bills got a good value on the UDFA circuit.
[10:35] Next up, quarterback out of Arizona, Connie Walker.
[10:39] The Bills are bringing or Arizona Arkansas.
[10:41] Uh the Bills are bringing in here.
[10:42] I thought they were going to go with Julian Neil in the NFL draft, but they go with a different razor back CB here.
[10:49] 52 tackles, so not afraid to get his hands dirty whatsoever.
[10:50] Had a sack, too.
[10:53] 12 PBUS. Incredible ball production for him in the SEC last year.
[10:55] I'm surprised he didn't get more looks in the NFL draft.
[10:59] Had a sack.
[10:59] Like this is a pretty versatile player if you ask me.
[11:03] I'm excited to see what he does as the Bills came into the draft with Joe Brady and Brandon Bean saying the position group they thought they were the thinnest at was corner.
[11:09] They drafted two.
[11:11] They bring in Connie Walker here as a UDFA.
[11:13] And then they bring in Jordan Dunar.
[11:15] Corner out of Missouri State.
[11:16] And not going to lie, couldn't even find stats on Jordan
[11:19] lie, couldn't even find stats on Jordan Dunar here.
[11:21] but he bring he comes in the Dunar here.
[11:21] but he bring he comes in the Bills as another guy competing in that secondary.
[11:25] Last but not least, Cody Husman Heisman out of Virginia Tech, an interior defensive lineman there.
[11:30] He's probably going to, you know, contend behind, you know, the guys they brought in in the draft and, uh, you know, some other defensive lineman as UDF's 19 pressures for him.
[11:42] Uh, the 38 tackles on the season, like some some decent production, but again, you know, it was at the FCS level, so we we can't be that uh, you know, going crazy about him here.
[11:50] But the Bills bring in a handful of UDFAS.
[11:53] I I was honestly shocked that it was a full 13 of them.
[11:55] I mean, that's just a lot to bring in.
[11:57] But they get their guy at fullback.
[11:59] A guy in Jackson Aer who I brought up when we were talking about the Bills losing Reggie Gilliam and having to fill that void in the NFL draft.
[12:04] Thought they could have went with him on on day three, but they get him as a UDFA.
[12:06] Love that pickup.
[12:09] Jamari Macklin, Desmond Reed, Bruno Fina there at the tackle spot.
[12:13] Hopefully he follows in his his dad John's footsteps and becomes a diamond in the rough.
[12:17] They found a offensive lineman before as UDFAs.
[12:18] Hopefully they do it again.
[12:21] UDFAs.
[12:21] Hopefully they do it again.
[12:23] Max Tomzac and Gabriel Byard as wide receivers that they bring in.
[12:25] Jaden Flaker as an edge linebacker hybrid out of Memphis.
[12:27] Kade Denof, edge out of Clemson, could be joining his boy TJ Parker there.
[12:33] Thronon Gaines, linebacker out of Tennessee Tech.
[12:35] Demetrius Witherspoon, offensive tackle out of Syracuse.
[12:38] Connie Walker, cornerback out of Arkansas.
[12:40] And Jordan Dunar, another corner out of Missouri State.
[12:41] Last but not least, the defensive lineman out of Virginia Tech.
[12:45] Yeah, we had our guy Cody there.
[12:47] So, with that being said, the Bills now got rookie mini camp coming up soon.
[12:50] They're going to need some guys to contend against these boys they brought in.
[12:54] So, let's talk about some of the rookie mini camp invites that they have here.
[12:58] I look, they got Jake Overman, tight end.
[13:00] Uh Trevor Brock, an offensive lineman.
[13:02] Will Nixon a running back out of Syracuse there.
[13:04] He's pretty good.
[13:05] Mark Langston, they bring in a line snapper for a little bit of comp there.
[13:09] Prince Dorba for some defensive line.
[13:11] Uh Tundu Fatukasi for some offensive line depth.
[13:14] Ryan Olympicum center there.
[13:16] And then Josh Betham, another tight end.
[13:18] Julius Pearson, offensive lineman.
[13:20] And then Germaine Burton, wide receiver, remember, out of Alabama, was with the
[13:22] remember, out of Alabama, was with the Cincinnati Bengals.
[13:24] He's 24 years old, Cincinnati Bengals.
[13:24] He's 24 years old, was drafted in like the third round in 2024.
[13:26] He's got all the talent in the world, but he's incredibly immature.
[13:28] The Bills bring him in as a rookie mini camp invite.
[13:30] And uh may maybe they show him he ends up flaming out and they show him as an example to Keon Coleman as to what might happen.
[13:35] But if he puts it together in terms of, you know, getting his head straight, uh, he could be incredibly talented and a, you know, deep sleeper to make the Bills roster when it's all said and done once training camp rolls around.
[13:41] That will do it for today's show.
[13:42] Make sure you give me a follow over on Twitter, Tyler J. Smith, two H's because the name's common, but I am not.
[13:44] And make sure you're subscribed to the channel as well, youtube.com/billsnews for the latest and greatest under Buffalo Bills all offseason long.
[13:47] See you guys next time.
[13:48] And as always, let's go Buffalo.
